Went to a wedding here tonight.  Pool side cocktails were nice and the staff was friendly.  The reception room was decorated very nicely, but I think the wedding planner probably had a lot to do with that.  The food was decent (we had the salmon), but others at our table ordered beef and they ran out, so they had to make alternate choices.  A bit strange since we all had to write what we wanted on the replies to the invites.  All was going well until there was a power problem...then the AC went out.  The brought a very small portable unit in for the bride, which she about sat on top of to cool off (I have a pic of that).  I don't think that I would plan my wedding here, but I would attend another if invited.  We did not have a chance to go into the rooms, but I believe this used to be an Embassy Suites.  We did have a light snack in the bar/grill area and it was a little over priced (like most hotels) but the food was not too bad.

Well, well, well seems people have seen what we saw, what a awful place this is.... Beds were absolutely awful, like 400 pounders had slept in them forever, seriously concave, impossible to lie flat on anywhere, and out of our party of 7 not ONE person, had a good bed. What are the odds? No free breakfast, extremely noisy street infront complete with sirens and car alarms.... Shouda took matress off the bed, moved to the floor in the front room. Oh yeah small screen tv to boot, NEVER AGAIN.

Very nice folks.  With all the hidden fees it gets up to $189 a night during the week.  The room had a musty smell in the work room.  had to pay $9.95 for wi-fi (or work in the lobby). No kleenex in the bathroom. Bath tub stopper wouldn't open so showering ankledeep in soapy water.  Breakfast had barely hot Starbuck's coffee, eggs over easy were crusty, but nice sausage.  The worst part was the train horns in the middle of the night and gas blowers at 7:30 in the morning.  Wish I had tried the Westin a couple blocks away.  These were the toughest Starwood points I've earned in years.

Yelpers have this one right, I've read the comments and have to agree with them all. Musty smell check. Old Embassy check, weak water pressure check. The only thing to disagree with is the bed was like a big bean bag chair and I stayed awake all night.

Stayed here on a biz trip recently.

Clearly, this place is a converted Embassy Suites.  The rooms were clean and had more modern amenities and decor.

The food was terrible - we had the breakfast buffet.  Eggs were cold, bacon was undercooked (and I mean undercooked not just "soft"), they didn't have all the right equipment available in the right places (I had to go searching for a cereal bowl and spoon).

Overall, if you need a place to stay, this will be fine, just don't eat here.

I like this hotel.  I got a great rate on it and was happily surprised when I arrived.  We parked the car (free) and walked in to a very nice lobby and front desk. While checking in I saw a little sign about Starwood Preferred Guest something and I mentioned, 'hey, I'm a member of that' and handed the girl my card.  She didn't say anything about it but when we went up to our suite (they are all suites) we were on Starwood Preferred Guest floor and that meant we got free bottles of water in the room, free coffee for the little coffee maker and it was a nice room.  First, it's an 8 story atrium with trees and a creek with 6 real turtles in it.  We bought turtle food for $1 and fed them which was fun.  Next, the front room of our suite was a living room with a table to eat or do work and a little bar with a mini fridge and coffee maker.  Very pleasant and my dad took a nice nap sprawled out on the couch.  Then there is the bedroom.  It's roomy, comfy with a nice big bed and nice bedding.  We were all very happy with this place.  Then, after we dropped off our bags, we all wanted to eat.  I was exhausted from getting off our cruise ship and running cirlces before arriving at the hotel so I did not want to get back in the car to eat.  We went to the deserted restaurant downstairs which overlooked the trees and creek and got some food.  It was much better than I expected it to be since there were only 2 other people there at all.  It was actually quite good.  Next cruise, I will fly into FLL, stay the night here and go to our ship in the morning.  I don't think Fort Lauderdale or Florida for that matter has much to offer me except the port for our cruises.  This place makes it quite nice though.

Like other reviewer indicated, the place is okay but would not be my first choice. Rooms are comfortable but not luxurious by any means. Breakfast buffet includes usual range of fare but omlettes are always overcooked in my last few attempts. Good location but TriRail can be loud.

As an SPG Platinum member, I've seen my share of Sheraton brand hotels, and I can rank this one second to the very worst (the Four Points Sheraton in Miami Beach clinching the bottom of the barrel prize). For those of us with fear of heights, the glass elevators (with maintenance certs current as of the early part of the decade) feel more like a Disney attraction designed to scare the living hell out of you. They inspire a sense of vertigo as they clunk along to your room, the broken tiles on the bottom of the elevator actually reveal that you're not standing on top of much, and the alert tone when you've finally reached your floor is so loud that it made my ears ring.

The accommodations feel like an abandoned Embassy Suites at an out-of-fashion business park. I had the pleasure of finding blood stains on my comforter and sheets, and the remnants of what must have been a Sasquatch haircut in my bathtub. What's not like Embassy Suites is the typical Sheraton nickel-and-diming of every amenity. Food service has the distinction of incurring two different service charges, and movies on the TV have three. The exercise room stinks of sweat and half of the machines aren't tuned which means you're as likely to strain an ankle as you are to shed some calories.

If you're like me and are stuck having to use the SPG family, the Westin further down the street is a much better alternative.

If I could give this no stars I would. I am sure MOTELS are better than this. Yes you get a big room, but it's digusting. Carpets are stained, mold in the bathroom tile, all furniture is gross. Room was very musty smelling. I mean, this was just disrespectfully not worth it. I still can't believe this bears the Sheraton name. I would never advise anyone to stay here, not even my worst enemy. I am writing starwood as well to let them know. I called hotels.com immediately and they weren't able to move my room that night, but they did process a refund. I called starwood preferred guests and begged them for a new room and hte customer service rep told me a few Sheraton hotels have not been upholding the standard of quality they were supposed to and to please notify corporate. Gross. My skin still crawls thinking about this hotel. !!!

    Positives:
    - The bed was super comfortable!

    - The room was spacious, had a refrigerator and delicious calming tea.

    - The pool and hot tub area is open until 11pm.

    - Exercise room! (Small but accomodating)

    - Great location walking distance to Sweet Tomatoes salad bar restaurant and Moonlite Dinner

    Would Change:
    - Water Pressure was very weak

    - With the tall building structure and palm trees it was very hard to get much sun by the pool. I knew it was sunny outside somewhere, I just couldn't find where

    - $9.95 for wireless in the room was a bit much.

******* TIP: We used HOTWIRE to get a suite here for $49/night. After taxes it came to $62, about 1/3 of the usual price if we had just walked in off the street. The clue to knowing it's the Sheraton is the fact that "Golf nearby" is one of the amenities and it's 8.6 miles to the airport. You're welcome.

I hate giving less than stellar reviews but sometimes you just have to.  Thankfully I can say this 2-star Sheraton Suites is not a bad place to stay by any means - it just has room to improve.

It's clean, there's a gym, wireless internet, a fancy lobby, and closely located to 95 and the FL Turnpike.

The other yelpers have it right for the most part.  Our bed was actually very comfortable and I didn't notice a musty smell.  Would agree about the lackluster breakfast and the tricky shower drain.

So if it's just a quick one night stop, I'd say you'll be just fine staying here.

This is the worst run hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff are incompetent and apathetic and will argue with you. The internet is TERRIBLE and costs 10 bucks a DAY. I pay 40 bucks a month for my internet. The rooms weren't ready by 6 pm, my door was broken, and my toilet didn't work. Never staying here again.

The hotel is old, but has been renewed and actually looks good. It's old fixtures give its age away though.

The toilets are a bit fussy, but I blame the plumbings' age. And the water pressure is a little pathetic.

A major plus, or minus, depending how you look at it, is the beds! If you need to get out of bed in the morning, the beds aren't good. They literally feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. You sink right into the sheets and when you try to get out, it's like the bed passionately grips you, not wanting to let you go. I could've stayed in that bed all weekend :)

Was expecting more from this hotel, but instead got a pretty typical stay for a lower end Sheraton.  The lobby is nice, but its pretty much downhill from there.

The room was dirty.  Nothing that you'd really see if you were glazing over things, but with two kids that spend a lot of time on the floor I was grossed out pretty quickly.  Our door had apparently been broken down at some point because the security latch was snapped off and there were obvious crow bar marks on the outside of the door frame.  You'd think this would have been fixed immediately after it happened, but we had to ask the front desk to make the repair.

Speaking of the front desk I think they were short on staff while we were there because most of the people that were on shift didn't know the hotel's policies or much about the surrounding area.  When I asked for the concierge I was put on hold and then told that the front desk is the concierge.  Not really much help at all.

Didn't eat there, but had coffee in the AM where the attendant hardly paid attention to us.  There are some nice water features around the restaurant area, but only go to make up for deficiencies at the other ends of the property.

Overall, would only stay here again if it was for an overnight.  Using this hotel as part of a family vacation is not recommended.

Starwood should be ashamed of this property! No wonder why they are offering triple points to stay here. This shit hole is very obviously an old Embassy Suites that was never completely remodeld. The only nice feature has to offer is the area with the computers. And the turtles in the lobby. We were excited there was a bar, but that excitedment faded when we got shitty service - it took 11 minutes to be acknowledged (they were chatting with some old bourbon drinking dues at the other end) and another 7 minutes to pour two glasses of chardonnay!

The room service was mediocre at best. The pool area was completed shaded by trees making it somewhat difficult to enjoy the sun and actually swim. Did I mention this place is located DIRECTLY on a major street and I went to sleep everynight listening to the buzzing of passing cars and the screech of the fucking TRAIN?! Oh ya.

I would definitely not even consider staying here again. SPG - if there is a corporate rep reading this - immediately end your association with this Sheraton. It is not up to Starwood standards!

Accommodations were ok at best.  Our room was a little musty smelling and they had a DE-humidifyer running when we arrive - not really sure what that was about because it was not removing the musty smell.  However, most of the staff was very friendly.

Watch your credit card if you make reservations.  I stayed there for a family reunion. I made reservations for several family members. 1 reservation I had to cancel. I called the days before our stay and canceled however apparently they did not update their system. I was charged without notice for that one. Another family member was there and we checked him in under the correct reservation but I was charged without notice for a no show on him. I have been trying for the past several months to get my money back but with no luck. I was told it would be returned but it never was.

I am highly disappointed that they have never returned the money and the person I was working with will not respond to any of my calls.

    Again watch your charge card.

The Sheraton Suites in Cypress Creek / Ft Lauderdale is not bad, it's just not up to the Sheraton name.  The hotel is definitely run down, and you can tell it was a converted embassy suites just by the layout.

Service - the woman at the check-in counter was nice enough, but there was only one person on a Sunday night.  I stood on line for 10 minutes trying to check in.  Doesn't seem that long, but after a day of travel you just want to get your key and relax. The gentleman at the bar was nice enough and served us fairly quickly, but the woman at the desk for the restaurant was rude.  She noticed me and stood with her back to me for a full minute.

Parking - On one night there must have been a meeting going on, because EVERY parking spot was full.  I had to circle for about 15 minutes before a spot opened up, and I almost lost it to another person looking for a parking spot.  The next morning at 7 AM, the lot was 3/4 empty.  I understand that these meetings bring extra money in, but it shouldn't be at the expense of people staying.

Shower - As other reviews said, the bathtub does not drain.  After my 10 minute shower (yeah, I know, but I like long showers) there was water up to my ankles.  Gross.

AC - I'm not from Florida, and it being 80 degrees in February was not what I was looking for when I was trying to sleep.  I had the AC blasting, but it really wasn't that effective, it stayed in the mid 70s in my room the entire time.

This would normally be a flat 2 star review BUT... the classic Sheraton bed.  Those beds are super comfy.  I got the best night sleep in a while while staying here.  So I'll up it to 2.5.  Rounding up to 3 cause I'm in a good mood today.

Price - It's about $25 - 50 / night cheaper than comparable hotels, so you get what you pay for!

Where do I begin ?  I rather stay at the Bates Motel then come back to this horror story... We were coming from a north east blizzard called the front desk and informed that we would be delayed, upon arrival no one had gotten the memo , and it's 5 o'clock in the morning they told us there was no room for us. The next room would be available at 11 AM , what am I doing in South Florida for six hours. Then they finally agreed that a person will come in to clean the room at 7:30 am.... Then  five days of nonstop banging  and drilling starting as early as 730 in the morning..... They changed our rooms and we went up in a room with even more noise... Service in the restaurant was horrific...... While laying poolside at a completely empty pool the lady cleaning the pool asks me to get up while I'm taking a nap so she can Sweep 5 leaves underneath my lounge chair is she insane ?... Front desk generally was helpful... Parking was fine..... Room size was ample and very comfortable.... conveniently located for what needed to do.... The rate is reasonable but considering the construction going on I would've appreciated of being told about it and would've paid more elsewhere....

This hotel is seriously in need of a make over.  The paint colors are reminiscent of mustard and vomit.  The general appearance is that the hotel should be thoroughly cleaned for starters.  The carpet was is desperate need of a serious cleaning or just replacement.  When ordering dinner and breakfast in the hotel it took an act of congress to get a receipt.  Why is that?  Shouldn't the customer be able to check their receipts against their final bill?  Then there was getting a final bill - what drama.  There was no bill under my door on check out day so I had to go to the front desk. Apparently they had "computer problems" and could not print any bills; however, I would be emailed a receipt.  What a bunch of B.S.  I have now called 3 different time and still no bill - "we will email it to you" is the line I always get.  very unprofessional.  this really makes you think that they are dong shady things with the bills and patrons credit cards.  This is not a great establishment and not worth their nightly rate.

The rooms aren't too bad.  The lobby is actually very beautiful.  This used to be a very nice hotel.  It is obvious someone does not want to invest in the hotel.  It is a little frayed around the edges.  The pool is picturesque, but showing its age.  They have a decent workout room.

Then there are the things they could correct that would make the stay more pleasant, and not cost a lot of money.  Wash cloths, you would think they could provide clean wash cloths every day.  A lot of TVs in the rooms don't come on until you cycle them on a few times  (I have stayed here a lot over the last few months, and I only come back for the points and the bar tender).  The breakfast buffet never changes - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, oatmeal, melon and pineapple.  It never changes.

There is one bright spot, and she works at the bar, but I already mentioned that.

The rooms are large. That is the extent of my positive feedback on this place.
Staff are slow and don't care about their customers. I felt like I was at the DMV. Elevators are ridiculously slow. Staircases smell like urine and mold. Carpets and ceilings in my room were stained. The computers and printer in the business center don't work. Oh yes, and they gave away my room - the one I reserved months ago. This is the 2nd Sheraton in a row to do this to me. Starwood Preferred Guest needs to re-evaluate their association with Sheraton. I will not be staying at any Sheratons again.

The hotel: seems recently remodeled. nice looking inner courtyard.

The rooms: old looking, linens clean, carpets should be cleaned. Rooms have a living room area.  The rooms I've stayed in have had 2 lcd TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room.

The hotel needs to give the rooms a new coat of paint and have the rooms throughly cleaned.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast buffet is the standard hot breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal) that tastes like every other hotel.

Not a bad place to stay at all. My wife and I been coming here for years. But it seems to be changing slowly. This use to be a hotel for the business traveler or a couple coming to relax. We noticed on this trip a ton of kids, running around like crazy, even by staff members who just smiled as they ran by. I guess who wants to get yelled at by a parent who don't teach their kids how to be respectful. So I kinda understand.

We use to love to sit by the pool and work. Can't do that anymore with all the kids screaming. It goes until 11:30pm to when the staff finally shuts it down.

My thought would be, no kids after 8pm adults only. No kids even accompanied by adults. It don't cost the hotel anything. Just a little common sense. This would give all the adults a time to relax and talk without the constant screaming.

WIFI - it's 2013 people. Stop charging for WIFI. PERIOD

It really is nice place. As the reviews below, it could use a little updating. The problem is now so many kids stay here. Then how do you keep the prices reasonable when you have to replace carpet every 2 weeks from the kids?

Finally, it would be nice if you posted up coming conventions on your website so people coming to relax would know not to pick that weekend. Instead of your desk people always getting yelled at.

Not a bad hotel, just doesn't really live up to the Sheraton standards.  Lobby is very nice, and the staff is friendly enough.  The fountains in the atrium are loud, and the sound carries into the room.  The hotel is right next door to train tracks and on a busy road, so the sounds carry into the other room as well.   The rooms themselves are very large, but the bathrooms are very small and dark.  WiFi is very slow.

Overall not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at but definitely not up to Sheraton standards. We had sleepless nights the first two nights due to being placed in a room directly above the a/c unit for the entire building. I'd suggest not staying in room 18-20 on any floor! Also, the wifi is $10/day which seems a bit steep...

Once we changed rooms the hotel was a solid 3stars but the fact that he managers put people in these noisy rooms shows a total lack of awareness. Or maybe they just don't care.

    First the good:
All the rooms are suites with plenty of room to spread out.  Staff is pleasant.  Furniture is comfy and not the typical hotel stuff.  There are oodles of electrical outlets!

    And....the bad:
Slowest elevators EVER.  Hotel is located on a well traveled road (and next to train tracks) so rooms are noisy. Bathrooms are teeny-tiny.

The hotel was very convenient for my business purposes and it's located next to a shopping center with several food options so...yeah...I'd stay here again.  Would I run out to recommend it to others?  Probably not.

So after Priceline forces me to stay here because they refuse to give me a refund (I bid for Ft. Lauderdale Beach) I come into my first room to find a stain on the toilet seat and the pillow case full of lipstick, mascara and who knows what else... called Priceline and finally got a helpful customer care associate who says Sheraton will still charge even if I leave... I'll be making calls to Starwood and writing a letter to Priceline corporate. .. for now I'm stuck here where I will not shower because the tub floor is full of grime and in need of a good scrubbing (even in the second room given to me) you get what you pay for and believe me I'd rather pay 40 extra and feel comfortable and safe..

I just returned from staying here on two separate occasions (two nights at a time). The Sheraton was an upgrade offered on our vacation package (with the base offer being the Ramada in Ft. Lauderdale, ugh). The difference between the two was only $32 per night out of our own pockets, so we were more than willing.

The foyer was bright and looked recently remodeled. Service at the front desk was prompt and friendly, and we were actually allowed into our room several hours before check-in time. Beyond the lobby, it is looks a bit dated in the hallways, but it isn't too bad.

The room was just fine. The bathroom was a bit small, but the room was attractively decorated and had everything we needed. During our first stay, the TV in the main room didn't work, but all was well on the way back. There never seemed to be enough towels provided, so it was annoying to have to constantly ask for more.

As part of our package (this hotel attracts a LOT of Bahamas Celebration passengers, and that is a whole other story) we received vouchers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel restaurant was okay, but we tended to constantly have to swat away flies during our meals. Service was pretty slow, but friendly. Menu offerings were a hit or miss, but some were surprisingly good. The seafood pasta and fish tacos were excellent. The food is pricey, and isn't really worth it. The breakfast buffet alone was $15 per person, and while it was nice, $10 or less would have been perfect.

The pool area was very nice, and there was never a shortage of chairs.

We had no problems with noise from the train, renovations, or air conditioning. I would stay here again if I was in the area, but I would prefer to be closer to a beach. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the nearest one.

An all suite hotel with an atrium at it's heart is a lovely thing.  I had the pleasure of staying here for a convention and really had no complaints, except that they're not up to date with wi-fi internet. There is NO reason to charge people for using it.

The hotel staff was quite pleasant to deal with, the house keepers very nice and met every question and request with a smile. They were more than happy to supply extra soap and shampoo as needed.

I will stay here next year for the same convention.

Got this room at a $62/ night rate on hotels.com and booked it thinking hey it is a Sheraton, and for that rate it is a steal.

There is plenty of parking in the area which is always a plus. The entryway/lobby is pretty luxurious with the Marble theme etc and the inside courtyard/garden is pretty cool.

The rooms get the job done and were roomy. The only gripe I had on the rooms are that the carpets were pretty grimy, but judging from the amount of families with kids I saw around, I guess that is expected.

There is no free breakfast or WiFi which was a drag. (almost hit my data limit surfing so much on my phone while here.)

Overall an ok place to stay for the price in Fort Lauderdale.

This hotel is crazy. My last review brought a call from the front desk manager Mr. Innocent. He apologized and said "this is not how out hotel is run, please give us a chance to show you."....... He sent us a gift certificate for 2 nights to replace the ones that I wrote about in my prior post and review........! Let me start with a good note, if it weren't for the security guard Mr Lewis I would dare say we would be wading in the water in the nasty dirty tub to take a shower. (Pictures posted) He was the only person who actually tried to fix anything that was wrong. Knowing we were coming in after the complaint and issues last time I would have assumed it would have been different...... Not just no, but HELL NO!  Here I am at 12:50 AM, AGAIN, just getting my children a shower. The tub was clogged again, the room was not cleaned, and there were dirty diapers and rotten baby food in the trash.....!!!!!! SO HERE WE GO AGAIN CHANGING ROOMS AT 12 AM. That is not how you fix a hotel. I can see that housekeeping is not of importance, as well as, the Managment. I WOULD NOT EVER stay at this hotel again. They need to get rid of what ever housekeeping Managment they have and hire someone who actually cleans. THANK YOU MR REGGIE LEWIS FOR ACTUALLY TAKING ON YOUR JOB, HOUSEKEEPINGS JOB, MANAGEMENT'S JOB TO TRY AND MAKE US A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE.   TIP........DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A HOTEL THAT IS CLEAN AND QUIET, HOUSEKEEPING AND THE PLUMBING SUCK!

The inside of this hotel is absolutely phenomenal. They are renovating it but it truly is a beautiful hotel ... The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Did the breakfast buffet the first day and honestly it just wasn't worth it. Plenty of parking and the people at the front desk are very nice too.

I could not give ths place no stars or else I would.  This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed.  Upon entering, we were greeted with a Wet Floor sign and a pile of wet towels.  Nice!

I had the privilege of staying here during a remodeling, which, of course, they do not mention on their website.  I wouldn't mention it if I were them either.  Who wants to stay in a place with leaks in the lobby, construction noise, chairs stacked in hallways, etc.  The staff was slow and apathetic at best and devoid of any personality.  The fitness center has multiple broken machines.  The pool is littered with filthy chairs and loose tiles.  Cascades of construction dust from above provide just the right poolside ambiance.  No poolside beverage or drink service is available, nor can you call room service and have them deliver the food at the pool to you instead.  Forget some enterprising waitress coming out to the pool with an order pad and a pen in order to make things convenient for their guests.

The dining room is a ghost town, and the bar doesn't open until three.  This really was horrible.

Really impressed with this hotel and my guess is the renovation is complete based on the other reviews. Very good price for effectively a 1 bedroom apartment. We also had an issue late in the evening and they were immediately on top of it and went above and beyond to accommodate us. If the restaurant was better, they may have had a chance at 5 stars. Regardless, I've already booked another trip back here, I just won't eat at the restaurant!

I frequent this hotel and am always satisfied. The front desk staff led by Ashli always greet with me a smile and anxious to please attitude. The hotel is a bit dated but all the rooms are small suites with two televisions. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms, though small, have good water pressure. The gym is brand new with state of the art equipment which is important to me as a runner. There is a small pool area where the tile needs some upgrading. As a Starwood member, this hotel represents great value and in my opinion, it's because of the staff.

I'm staying in this hotel as I write this review, and I have to say, I wouldn't stay here again, ever.

Everything in the negative reviews is true in my experience (except for the breakfast buffet, which I didn't try). Renovations are still going on, they've just moved to the rooms. But no amount of renovation will eliminate loud train noise at night, where they blare their horn as they cross the road.

The elevators are painfully slow. I wanted to go down and get something from my car; it took five minutes for the elevator to get me, only for me to realize I forgot my keys. Getting a bag out of my car took 20 full minutes (and four elevator rides).

Wifi here is paid, which is crappy, and AT&T cell service is crap. But if you're close enough to the lobby you can "borrow" the lobby and Microsoft wifi, which is a plus of being low.

Oh, there's also an airport, and this hotel is directly off the departure end of the longest runway. I'm a pilot and don't mind airplane noise, but you'll hear the bizjets and that can bother some people.

In all, there's a dozen hotels in the area that you can stay at, all of which have to be better than this.

Got our room on Priceline for around $100. After reading the negative reviews I was not looking forward to our stay, but I was pleasantly surprised.  While the lobby is under construction it is large and lush with plants and streams. We received a warm greeting and headed to our room on the 3rd floor.  Agree with other posters that the carpet is a bit grimy, but the rest of the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

We had the breakfast buffet off the lobby and received great service from our waitress.  When my husband mentioned his waffles were cold, she quickly brought him freshly made ones from the kitchen.
Lots of easy parking and well located. We will return!

Regarding this property, I do not agree with my fellow yelpers. I thought this hotel was great and the service was perfect. The hotel is a bit old but our room was very clean and spacious. The Sleeper bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. I am a big fan of balconies in rooms and even though the balcony was very small and tight, I was satisfied.

The atrium in this hotel is beautiful and relaxing. It consists of a waterfall with a stream filled with fish and turtles, my son loved it and he had a great time. We had some drinks at the hotel bar located within the atrium. There are many tables to sit at along the stream and in front of the waterfalls.

The service was very good at the front desk. I requested a late checkout and it was granted immediately. The rate was very reasonable and I would definitely consider this hotel in the future.

I was there mid-September and absolutely loved my stay. One day before my arrival I received email from the VIP & Club Services Leader asking if I had any special requests or room preferences. The email was right on time because I needed to request an early check-in since my flight was arriving at 9:30am. Ms. Le was very accommodating & told me she would call me on the date of arrival & let me know when my room was ready, probably around noon. I was a little tired and called her at 11am and viola, she said my room was ready! In addition, she was very pleasant. I must admit, I'm a sucker for great customer service.

Upon arrival, we were checked in by some pleasant woman (can't remember her name). Walking into the lobby was refreshing! Very welcoming scent and everything was clean, the lobby and the entire hotel was recently renovated and wow, I loved it. There are waterfalls and water features throughout the lobby.

The beds were extra comfy and so was the living room area. The pool is a decent size and the hot tub very nice, hotter than I anticipated or maybe it was the humid weather. The people at the hotel were pleasant and accommodating. We ordered room service and we were totally impressed and it arrived quite quickly. My fiancé ordered a burger and enjoyed every bite, I ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado and it was delish! We both loved the french fries, they were cooked perfectly.

The location is so very perfect if you fly into Fort Lauderdale, it's only 15-20 minutes away. There is a shopping center next door with shops and a movie theatre. On the opposite side of the hotel it's a Chili's Restaurant around the corner if you're looking for a cheap meal.

Well folks, I will definitely being staying here again when I go back. Great location, price, and excellent customer service. Happy Traveling!

Just checked in, so far sooo good. Check in yook a while because there was no one at the desk, I had to knock on the door for someone to come out. Once the nice lady came out it was smooth sailing. She was very nice, very informative and welcoming.

The room is really nice, clean and overlooks the pool. It also overlooks the Avenue and it may be a bit noisy but I'm originally from NYC & don't mind it. I received a call from the front desk manager welcoming us and extending his service. Very nice!

If you upgrade to club level you get free hors d'oeuvres and free breakfast.

    I am loving this!

I loved my stay here.  The clerk at check in was very professional and informative.  The entire hotel was gorgeous and luxurious.  We had a living room, dining table and a mini kitchen/bar in our room.  It was a bit annoying how the ice machine was out of the way a bit but overall, it was a great stay.  I love when hotels provide good quality coffee (Starbucks) and tea for their guests!  The beds were very comfortable and early check-out was so easy.  This hotel is awesome!

So I booked this hotel on my sheraton points and was impressed that I got an email from the guest services a couple nights before mt check in date asking what time I would be arriving and if I needed any extra services.

I called ahead to add my husband to the room and said we'd be in town around 1030 am so they made a note of it.  Got here at 10 and was told there were no rooms which we understood. I said we did let them know we would be early and she got a bit rude and repeated she didn't have rooms.  she took my husband cell number and said she'd call when a room was available. She never called and he came back twice to see if they had rooms.  He actually stood in line and watched her give 6 rooms out and then tell him no rooms were ready yet. He finally got a room at 2.

Room is nice and has a separate living area with refrigerator and microwave.  There is complimentary water and starbucks coffee.  Our toilet was broken and they sent maintenance up to fix it.  Shower was a bit dated.  Cute interior as the room doors face the interior of the building and you can see down to the restaurant and open courtyard.  The elevators are super slow and there are only 2 of them!  You can take stairs down but not up as they are locked.

A little outdated but the lobby is nice and the rooms are spacious and we'll appointed.

We only stayed here for just one night before we went on our cruise. We didn't need much because we were just flying in crashing then heading out to the cruise ship. I have to tell you that it was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Checking in was easy and effortless on our part. The hotel was open and nice with updated rooms that were very clean. We were completely happy staying here and if we do another cruise we'll stay here without a second thought.

Horrible... My family and I got in late and we make our way up to the 5th floor to find out our key does not work. I go down to get s few more made and wouldn't you know it they don't work either. The guy made me 20 keys to go up and try.

One eventually worked but only once every 10 tries.

We got in the room and there were no sheets on the pull out.

The bathroom was super old and weird. The sink was somewhere between my knees and waist in height.

The whole area this hotel is in is depressed as it is right near a sketchy Casino.

I came here for a work training event and through out the week I was here... All I can say was herendous customer service, Pathetic!!!! My colleagues and I were without no access to internet as we needed to work and the hotel manager and engineer didn't put effort into resolving the issues. If a company pays for the service of coming to  your hotel you are supposed to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service, its just logical. Above from that not being attentative and making us feel as if our service isn't worth the time. Its called collaborate effort! I am not one to speak bad about a company, but this is unacceptable.

My over all time stay here was not worth it!

After awhile, most hotel rooms start to look the same to me. As long as the room is clean, the shower has hot water and good water pressure, and the bed is bug-free and comfortable, then I'm generally happy.

I'm pretty sure this used to be an Embassy Suites. All rooms open into an open area with a waterfall and dining area downstairs. Rooms have windows in the front living area, so unless your curtain are closed, people passing by can wave at you while you're sitting on the couch watching CNN and typing Yelp reviews..

    A couple of other comments:

-The pool is heavily shaded by trees and the building itself, so there isn't much sun to bathe in.

-The water pressure in my room was fantastic, but the drain couldn't keep up. By the time I was out of the shower, I was wading in water that was past my ankles.  Also, the shower curtain wasn't quite long enough, and I ended up having to use a towel to mop up the water that was all over the floor.

Not a bad hotel at all. I ran into the GM in the elevator and he commented he was new and had several things planned for the property. Looking forward to staying here again and seeing what happens..
