This was one of the best hotel that I've stayed at. I was able to get a sweet deal online and was super impressed. The room was huge , with a huge bathroom and huge bed and beautiful view of the beach. It was picture perfect. Although it was slightly far from the main strip but it didnt matter to me. The staffs were nice and helpful. Also the orange scent shampoo and lotion was very refreshing! The conditioner really leaves your hair feeling soft. Love it!

The Atlantic is a Starwood Luxury Collection property - one of soon to be many Starwood hotels in Fort Lauderdale.  While the hotel was very nice, I'm not sure it's on par with other Luxury Collection properties they offer.

The vibe in the lobby is a very modern, hip vibe - sort of a South Florida version of W hotels.  The rooms are very nice - they are billed as condominiums so they have a small kitchen - with real pots/pans, nice glassware, etc.  There is a cooktop, microwave, and mini-fridge.  All with nice granite counters.  The bathrooms are also very nice - with a decent sized shower and separate soaking tub.  Our room was facing the ocean and had a balcony where we would sit and have our in-room provided Starbucks in the morning.  The beds were tastefully dressed and were incredibly comfortable.

The spa was very nice - we both got treatments and thought that the surroundings lived up to our expectations.  My only gripe would be that it was absolutely freezing everywhere in there - and when you're running around in a robe, that's not a good thing.  Even while getting a massage, I was grateful for the heated bed, and shocked by the freeze every time my masseuse would expose a leg/arm to do that area.

We did not eat at the restaurant, but did have a nighcap at the bar our first night.  Our bartender was very nice and we had a nice conversation with him about tequilas.  (though at that point in the evening, who knows how much sense we made LOL)

The Valet was always prompt brining our car, which was nice.  And they didn't nickel and dime us when we asked for more coffee paks to be sent to our room.   But for a luxury collection hotel, there were some hiccups with the service.  When I told the front desk that we needed a burned out lightbulb in the bathroom changed, and that I needed a new hairdryer sent up as well since the one provided would overheat before I got very far, it never got done.  You'd think that if the front desk didn't relay the info, that at least the maid would notice the light was out - but, no.  And I had to call down to get someone to bring me the hair dryer.  The bulb never got changed, which meant I did my makeup in the bedroom area since it was so dim in the bathroom.

We called down to see what time the pool restaurant opened, and we were told 10am.  since it was 9:30, we thought we'd wait and then go down, instead of ordering room service.  (We didn't want to eat at Trina because hubby wanted to sit outside, but not so close to the road.)  We went down at 10, only to be told that they didn't open until 11, but that we could order room service and have it sent to the pool.  So that's what we did - and then waited an hour for it.  (after we were told it should only be 30 minutes.)  When it finally DID arrive, it was cold, as if it had been sitting for the additional 30 minutes waiting to be delivered.

Overall, the hotel was nice, but the service issues don't put it in the luxury category, yet.

While I didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the amenities, I was very happy with the room and the friendly service.

I thought the hotel was very nice.  Modern while still maintaining the on the beach feel.

The service was so friendly, I could have been staying a boutique hotel - not a large Starwood property.

I would recommend the hotel and location to anyone.  I'm hoping to try a few more places in the Luxury Collection soon!

Gorgeous newer building on the beach. Incredible view - that would be the ocean. The room we had was quite nice. Fully stocked kitchen (plates, silverware, mugs, wine glasses, etc.), nice sized living room, good size balcony, large comfortable bedroom and great bathroom. Nicely decorated - simplistic modern I suppose - neutrals, not overdone.

The staff were very sweet, professional, and helpful. But we didn't really need them cuz we spent most of our time away from the hotel. It's a bit down but walking a few blocks rarely kills someone. We liked it wasn't smack dab in the middle of all the craziness.

I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway and I couldn't be more pleased. The property is absolutely gorgeous, it's easily one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The views of the ocean were breathtaking. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than my bedroom at home! All the workers there were pleasant, friendly, and accomodating. Upon returning to Chicago, the bf realized he forgot his sunglasses and watch in the room. The hotel promptly retrieved them and we received them in the mail 2 days later. I would definitely return.

I came to Fort Lauderdale to escape. I stayed at The Atlantic Hotel and I was allowed to escape. This place was fantastic. I was so relaxed within the confines of the hotel that despite being in Fort Lauderdale for a week and the beach being, literally, right across the street, I didn't have a need to set foot on it. Let's get the only con out of the way: the internet and Wi-Fi is pretty terrible. This is a plus or minus; a plus if you're truly disconnecting from the world, but a minus if you still need minimal contact. But that's the only drawback. The oceanfront room is luxurious. A huge corridor. A large bathroom with a separate door each for the shower and toilet, his & her sinks, and a separate soaking tub. Back into the corridor, there's a full closet and a full kitchen. Yes, with stove, microwave, and fridge. If you wanted to cook a gourmet meal, all you need is the ingredients. Into the main bedroom, a large incredibly comfortable bed and nice modern accents, and a flat screen TV. Then the large balcony with a view overlooking the pool on the fifth deck and Fort Lauderdale Beach. On those rare nights I didn't sleep in, it's a pretty nice sunrise in the morning. But during the day, the sun shines right on the balcony, so it's easy to kick back and relax there and not worry about getting sand everywhere if I was down there on the beach. You'd think this is already enough. What clinches the fifth star for me is the room service. Because it is provided from the East End Brasserie, for which I've written a separate review. This is, by far, the best room service I've had in my life based on food quality alone. Delicious high-end quality restaurant seafood on top of these luxurious and relaxing and surroundings. Get the sea scallops with porcini mushroom butter & shaved foie gras. One of the best dishes I've eaten all year. For all of these reasons, I'm a huge fan of The Atlantic Hotel and look forward to a return trip in the near future.

My future Uncle in-law owns a condo in this hotel and was nice enough to let us stay here for a weekend. This is one of the, if not the, nicest hotels I've ever had the oppurtunity to stay at.

The decor is incredibly modern with a very contemporary lobby. It always smells like oranges here and is always incredibly cool. The staff, especially the valet people, are overly nice.

Our room features two bedrooms, two monster sized bathrooms, and a full kitchen. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. In addition, the blinds hold the light out superbly. I can sleep untill 2 in the afternoon every day.

The bathroom is also crucial as it has a nice whirlpool soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. The shower is massive and could probably fit 5 people comfortably.

The balcony spans the whole length of the unit (about 25 feet) and has comfortable furniture and an amazing view of the atlantic ocean.  There is also a really nice pool on the fifth floor along with a full blown spa. Ahhh the tranquility.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Atlantic. The room's amenities are numerous and the staff were very attentive. It was great having a kitchenette in the room, but I have to complain that they only provided decaf coffee grinds and I had to ask, every goddamn morning, for regular coffee to be delivered. Coffee is the medicine that keeps Ricky Rage at bay. On the plus side, it took them less than a few minutes to get the coffee to me so nobody got shanked or anything.

If you go to the restaurant get the Moroccan Lamb flatbread. DO NOT QUESTION THIS ADVICE, GET THE GODDAMN FLATBREAD! It will change your life. I also had a grilled N.Y. strip steak that was expertly prepared, although it came with Provencal vegetable tart that tasted like it was soaked in red wine vinegar. My only critique of the restaurant is they offer too many "things" in one dish. My steak came with: leek & bacon potato puree, mushroom ragout, and a Provencal vegetable tart. They could remove one or two sides from every plate and still have a thoroughly delicious meal.

I had a massage at the spa that was well executed but lacked some finesse. The atmosphere there was pleasant and the facilities were very clean. I left satisfied but not amazed.

All in all this is a very nice hotel. They executed all requests quickly and were very attentive. Sometimes the staff at Starwood Luxury Collection hotels can be robotic, but the drones here retained some of their personalities after assimilation. All in all I would definitely go back.

    I have stayed here twice.
The first time, our room was SO NOISY.  We called downstairs and they said they are aware of the problem.  Apparently its an issue with the air conditioning. It clunk clunk clunks all night long. Another thing was that we could hear people walking around upstairs when we were trying to go to sleep. Bad sound proofing.
Went to the spa for a massage because after the first night, my back was absolutely killing me..
I have had many massages and this one was not only unimpressive, it was downright disappointing.  I was in such pain and requested a male hoping he would be stronger.  He was NOT.  The massage was also overpriced.  In the spa facility there are showers, a steam room, a sauna, and a hot tub.  Vanity area with blowdryers, soaps, shampoo, etc.  They give you a key to a locker and you change into a robe and slippers before heading to the massage waiting room.  The facilities were okay but the massage just made me frustrated.
Private balcony was wonderful, the view was beautiful.  When we woke up and looked outside from the bed I felt like I was on a cruise ship because all you can see is the ocean.
Restaurant was great.. no complaints.  The view is outstanding, right across from the beach, and the waiters were good too. I loved the banana macadamia nut pancakes and my boyfriend loved the french toast (which I believe has coconut flakes?).
There are lots of great restaurants and cute little souvenir shops down the street within walking distance too.
Overall.... EHH... I would much rather stay somewhere else on that street and just come for the restaurant :)

We knew the minute we walked onto the porch of the Atlantic Hotel and saw that majestic and seemingly infinite view of the Atlantic Ocean, that this was the place where we should get married.  The marble floor, the round sconce fixtures just above the pool and the graceful palms that act as a proscenium just seemed to set the perfect stage.  Our decision was instantaneous.  After all, the property is pretty spectacular

We worked with their wedding coordinator to ensure that everything would be the way we requested it.  The hotel and the restaurant were both very cooperative with us throughout the planning.  As far as the event was concerned, the execution was brilliant.  We were thrilled and so were our guests.  I want to take a moment to publicly thank Candace Johnson, our wedding coordinator from the Atlantic, who took the job over halfway through the planning and who was a real professional and an absolute sweetheart.

The Atlantic only fell short in the customer service area a little.  Don't get me wrong.  Everybody was very sweet to us.   And I did appreciate the small touches like the coffee in the morning and water in the lobby.

Here are two small complaints that make this otherwise Five Star experience a Four Star Review.  There was the occasional employee who just seemed flustered and in the weeds over not very much; a waiter in the bar area was constantly slamming things down and very sloppy in his appearance and behavior.  Also, on the day of the wedding, I made a point of leaving the room (and what a room it was) early so that it could be made up for the Ketubah signing and pictures.  I came back to shower at 2:15 and the room still had not been cleaned.  My fiancee was due in 45 min with family and photographer in tow and I was in a mess. I called the front desk to ask for someone to clean it ASAP and felt like it was treated lightly.  I then called Candace for help and someone was there within minutes.  (Of course, when my new relatives from Greece came into this big, beautiful suite, they had to see every newly-cleaned square inch and take pictures of everything; including the bathroom that I needed for showering and the like.  That's just par for the course.)

But let's end this on a high note.  The weather was perfect.  The setting was perfect.  Our bartender, Jolie, was awesome.  The food was the best food I've ever had at a wedding.  The staff on hand, especially Stefan, the manager, was more than capable.  And of course Candace was there to see it all go off very well.

I'm glad I'm only getting married once.  I think, with the help of the Atlantic, we nailed it.

I am an extremely OCD person when it comes to cleanliness. Makes staying in hotels very difficult for me. I typically can never quite relax. I have to say this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. I even walked around barefoot! (Normally, I put socks on.)

Luxury and service in a wonderful hotel. Most comfortable bed, ocean sounds to fall asleep to, orange/lemon infused water, and some kind of wonderful smell is always lingering in the lobby. Nice restaurant too. Highly recommended.

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. The staff contrary to the beliefs of many of the reviewers here are not that friendly. I called to see if I could check in early. I was told they couldn't do that over the phone so I drove up to the hotel. I spoke to a young lady at the front desk who told me the room wasn't available yet. That was @ 1:30. She also informed me that they couldn't guarantee any rooms before 4:00. She took my phone number and told me she would give me a call once the room was ready. I found ways to pass the time in the scorching heat. I was finally called at 4:08 to let me know the room was ready. The room was decent but for the price I don't know if I would stay here again. Everything was overpriced from the forced valet parking to the $45 shot of patron silver. The next morning I awoke to a bill discreetly placed under my door. It stated I had been charged for valet parking $28 which I used and $117.21 for an ocean terrace lunch. I am very puzzled and confused as to why I am being billed for lunch at the pool when I never saw the pool at this inn. I guess they didn't know while I was wasting time waiting for my room I ate lunch at Tom Jenkins BBQ. That's an easy mistake anyone could make right? $20 dollar lunch versus an insurance payment. I am still awaiting the outcome of this situation. The young lady at the front desk this morning states she needed to check with a manager to view the checks. Maybe I should have them call Tom Jenkins to verify I had BBQ ribs as opposed to whatever costs $120 for lunch?????? I'd rather go on a shopping spree with that money. In this economy who spends that much money for lunch with a straight face. We have grown out of touch with reality. For lunch I have a turkey sandwich with aged Swiss cheese. I assure you that sandwich costs about a $1.50 to make.

Stayed at the Atlantic Hotel for one night after a cruise. The staff was wonderful. Not only did they upgrade our room to a suite but they were very warm and friendly. The room itself was gorgeous with spectacular views of the beach. I only wish we had more time to spend at The Atlantic Hotel.  I can't imagine a better way to end our holiday.

one word, WOW! The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Granted, I have only stayed at a few "high class" hotels. The patio overlooking the ocean was fantastic. We actually slept with the patio door open. The hotel staff is excellent. They were 5 minutes late preparing our room and they gave us three complimentary drinks from the bar and a breakfast coupon.
I laugh by even mentioning this, but they have the best complimentary water next to the elivators. They add orange, limes, and lemons to the water. I literally had 6 cups a day.

This place was great.  Beautifully decorated, wonderful ocean view, kind staff.  Also, they have really great soaps and shampoos and linens.  The only two drawbacks I could find were that TV was really confusing to use and they sent a guy up to fix it but we still couldn't figure out how to find movie channels or a guide so we ended up just not using the TV.  Also, the concierge goes home at night and then the front desk staff is "there to help" but they actually knew very little about the area.  We asked where we could find vegetarian food and the three people behind the front desk looked confused and said they didn't know so maybe we should just go to the restaurant inside the hotel and ask them to make us a pasta.  We walked around and found something instead.

OK, so everyone gave this hotel amazing reviews, so I went.  Yes, the space of the rooms is amazing. So if space is all you care about, then this is a perfect hotel for you. But that is where it ends. We wanted to spend time at the beach and the pool, but we were totally out of luck. First, the beach in front of the hotel is kind of awful, and you can only get a beach chair by paying  to the service that owns them that is not connected to the hotel, which closes at 4PM. We went to the beach after arrival and lunch at around 3pm, and they wanted to charge us over $40 to get chairs for the family for one hour.  They were clear that we would have to give the chairs back at 4 on the dot. The hotel did not let us know that this was the case as we took towels from the front desk. So, we tried to sit on the beach for a while on the tiny towels the hotel provided, but if you are spending close to $1000 on a room you want to be pampered a bit,, and have free beach chairs and a waiter to get drinks until midnight if we want them,  so we decided to go back across the street to go to the hotel pool. When we started to go upstairs, we were told that there was a wedding that night and we could not use the pool area, it was closed. So here we are on our first day in Florida with no beach, no pool and no smiles on my kid's faces.

We ate both lunch on the first day and breakfast the second day in the hotel restaurant, and the service was kind of crappy and they could not get our orders right, the food just OK. It is not expensive, but it is not cheap either.

The hotel is a luxury wannabe that falls far short. While  the space was nice, our two bedroom suite was no where near GINORMOUS as another Yelper described it to be. The final straw was the bellman, who when we were leaving went to get our car, but then watched as my husband put the 4 suitcases in the back and did not lift a finger. Come on! At this point we were over it.

On the bright side, they have the happiest concierge on the planet, and she really tries to make everyone feel good, but even her chirpiness could not make up for a a huge disappointment and a large hotel bill.

I do not recommend this hotel if you are used to staying in  five star hotels.  You will be very disappointed.

    Service is superb.
    People are great.
    Rooms are huge.
    price is great, BUT ...
Pool losses sun in Nov at 2pm. Yes I said 2 pm.
    The rooms are noisy...
Air conditioning clanks and clunks and THEY KNOW IT...5 years later, they say they will fix it soon?
I hear all the doors closing and people walking around upstairs.
    BAD sound proofing...
if they fix the noise & A/C issue then it is 4.5 stars
    now, just 3 stars

Location, location, location.  It's a cliche phrase, but unfortunately for me, it applies to The Atlantic Hotel.

    1) The beautiful wife and I managed to get a great deal on a partial ocean view.  It's not as sexy or dramatic as a full ocean view, but it was still pretty awesome sitting on the balcony enjoying the view.  Plus the point of visiting wasn't to look at the ocean, it was the hop in, which leads to...

    2) It's right across the street from some of the best beach in the area (in my opinion).  But it's _across_ the street.  Which means you're pulling the "I'm shirtless in flipflops in the elevator with people who are dressed to go out to dinner."  Of course, I don't care, but some might have issues.

    3) Service was very friendly and helpful.  They even managed to get into our room at 1:00pm despite normal checkin being 4:00.  Very helpful, especially when you've been up since 3:45am.

    4) Weird pool hours.  I understand that guests in rooms above the pool don't want to hear people at 2:00am, but closing the pool at 7pm?  Weird.

    5) I don't remember if they had a Bible in the room, but they certainly didn't have one of those binders with all the hotel information.  So how the heck was I supposed to know I could get beach towels at the bellhop station?  I mean, after seeing 50 people was the same towels, I figured it out, but still.

    6) If you're planning on staying here and you're flying, rent a car.  This is the only thing that really knocks the hotel.  It's really not close to anything wonderful dining-wise beyond other hotels and some tourist trap restaurants.  Though the staff were always helpful in getting cabs (and letting us know where the closest liquor store is)

Was it the most incredible experience ever?  Not really, but is it return-worthy?  Absolutely.

But next time, I'm renting a car!

There seems to be an influx of discount websites, Town Hog, Groupon, Gilt Groupe, Jetsetter.Com. That last one is my new favorite. Usually I peruse Jetsetter.Com just to daydream but one day, they actually had a deal I could partake in! Well I actually cancelled a trip to Maine and exchanged it for a trip to Fort Lauderdale just so that I could get in on that Jetsetter deal for The Atlantic Hotel. Pretty much, I scored a suite with a partial ocean view for $150/night! I only got to stay for one night but I enjoyed every minute! Boyfriend and I arrived in Fort Lauderdale at 8am on Saturday morning. We get to the hotel to check in, thinking we'll just drop off our luggage and hang out on the beach til it's check in time. Well actually they had a room ready right away! Paul at the front desk was very polite and welcoming.

The hotel is right across the street, no joke. Makes things so convenient! The suite was equipped with a kitchenette complete with a microwave, sink, dishes, glasses, flatware, and mini fridge. The only bummer was that the pictures on Jetsetter made the room look way bigger but that's just their clever ploy to reel people in, worked with me!

We also got a couples massages in their spa. You and your loved one can get massaged in the same room. The massage itself was quite painful but I'm not one to complain. Still felt good though, I fell asleep! The spa area was nice, there's the standard locker room, hot tub, and tea/gossip/read magazine area.

Definitely a great place for couples, as there are many surfaces and areas for you to get romantical and no thin walls!!!

Sorry I have to minus a star for the service at Trina. Boyfriend and I wanted to check out the happy hour on Sunday at 4:30 pm because I wanted to be sauced and sloshed for our upcoming flight back home. I know it was a slow day anyway, not very many customers, but the service doesn't need to be slow also! Our waiter/bartender took almost 20 minutes to make two drinks, one of which didn't even have any alcohol in it but did have a seed floating in it! I consider myself patient but that was just awful. He was nice but just too damn slow. Happy hour turned into surly half hour!

The Atlantic Hotel is the BEST place to stay in Fort Lauderdale, hands down.  It is right on A1A on the beach, and has a pool on the 6th floor overlooking the entire oceanfront.  It is just a few miles up from Las Olas (the party/bar street), has great food, the staff is unbelievable, the rooms are out of this world, and the weather is always sunny!

HOTEL:  This is seriously top notch.  The best part of this is that you get an entire condo for the price of a hotel room... meaning full kitchen, huge bathroom with a tub and shower, an outdoor patio, a seating area, etc.  If you are looking to save money, just run to the grocery store around the corner and stock your fridge with your own wine, beer, and munchies for the beach and cocktails.  All of the decor was dark chocolate wood.  Very spacious (as in bigger than my one bedroom apartment in Chicago)

SERVICE:  My boyfriend and I went here for New Years last year, and came back in July... they knew all of our preferences!  Had champagne in the room, reservations at the two restaurants off site we really loved, and taxis pre-ordered.  They also delivered to our room new towels daily, cleaned, ironed my boyfriends shirts (awesome!) and have a 24 hour room service menu that has lotsof really delicious options.  They have a free fitness center, yoga and pilates classes in the morning, spa services, nail and hair salon, and couples massages in your room!

FOOD:  Trina is the restaurant attached to the hotel and it is amazing!!   trinarestau ...  Monday -Thursday they have $5 happy hour 4-7pm.  This is any drink... any martini, house pour wine, or bottled beer.  The seafood at this place was incredible.  You sit outside on the oceanside, soft music, a little breeze... it is fabulous.  We ordered: Blue Crab Cake with mango, tomato, and corn relish (huge, and wonderful), Lobster and Scallop risotto with truffle, asparagus, and blood orange sauce which literally melted in your mouth it was so delicious, Over Roasted Sea Bass with capers, olives, cherry tomatoes and raisins that was perfectly cooked.  The server paired our two dishes with a Chilean white wine (similar to a Savingon Blanc).  The waitstaff is accommodating (Im allergic to nuts so they made some things without them and were very diligent), quick, and very polite.

This is a must stay hotel.  It is worth the money.  Also - when booking always book online as it is cheaper than booking by calling the hotel directly.

Happy seafood eating, beaching, sunning, and relaxing in lovely Fort Lauderdale! :)

The hotel is beautiful and sooo clean!!! The bath and shower products are great. The kitchen and bathroom is unreal. If you're used to staying at a holiday inn, Hilton or Marriott; you may be disappointed with things here. It feels like they don't try very hard to make you happy even though you spend a lot to be here. Everything is at a charge. One major plus, their wifi speeds are amazing.

Beautiful hotel.  Very attentive and kind staff.  Lots of nice amenities.  The spa was lovely.  Great views from the oceanfront rooms and suites.

I've stayed here before and will probably come back, but they have some things that need to be worked on...

Let's start with 5***** for location, 5***** for beautiful room (we took a 1 bd suite as we had to do some work) which looked out on the ocean... 5***** for very nice attentive staff (though see below) that were mostly happy cheery - nice!

4**** for the kitchen... it's a big full working kitchen and as we were spending a lot of time in the room because we were working, we wanted a full kitchen and this room fit the bill perfectly except... no knives, 2 glasses, no paper towels, no sponge or dishwasher soap, the dish soap was empty and the coffee maker was of the 2-cup variety - ugh not to mention the coffee was terrible, we had to go to Starbuck and buy their coffee... We called up and they eventually stocked everything. But come on peeps, you offer a full kitchen it has to have the basics, we don't expect you to supply our food, but the basic cooking needs please!

1* (Yelp you need zero star categories) for internet connection. Thank god we took our 4G hotspot and 4G was working here as the "high-speed" internet was non existent in our room! If we moved closer to the front entry it got better but by the working desk - nope, zip, nothing, nada... Hmmm kinda need internet to work in this day no?

1* for room service / restaurant... We got in our 1st day around 3PM and called room service they connected us to the kitchen (really?) and we were told closed. Hmmm called front desk and they said no no they're open and they called and were told closed. But the lovely front desk person said, we could go to the pool and order... Uh hello... I want room service, if I wanted to walk to the pool or restaurant, I would have chosen that option... I said wait, I have an idea! Why don't you send room service to the pool and get us 2 cheeseburgers medium rare with fries, we'll keep it simple... uh well, I'll see what I can do for you... Really??? you're joking... Ok, food comes 45 minutes later - jeez it was just a burger but ok... Open the top and the fries are a warm soggy mess! It must have been sitting under the plate cover for 20 minutes... the burger itself was well done and the bun was a soggy mess too... Oh wait, 2 cheeseburgers, and 2 diet cokes + the added 20% gratuity ..... drum roll..... $50... OMFG...

I went down later that eve and told Jessie at the front desk... btw Jessie is the best! She deserves a raise management ok... She was aghast and promptly removed the charges and said she was terribly sorry and that they have had a large turnover in staff. I asked why there was no room service menu and she said that they are working on it... ??? Really, this place has been around for years... and they're still working on a room service menu? Btw, have to mention that the day shift desk clerk Jarvis was wonderful and very attentive too - thank you Jessie and Jarvis!!!

1* for on site restaurant... really nothing appealing on the menu hence we made all our breakfasts and lunches and went off property for our meals... such a shame.

1* for $28/day parking and $5 bag of tiny M&Ms and $45 HALF PINT of Chivas or Patron $25 HALF PINT or Absolute (4 times mark up over retail...)

    I'm giving 3***

A few facts that made me gave them a 4 star rating - instead of the 1 star (seen previous post) :
    1. earliest check-in is at 4 PM ??? WTF , the hotel is not that full yet they dont' make any effort to have me check in and we were at the front desk at 3:30 PM citing policy that guarantee 4PM check-in.
    2. parking is $28 per day and  it is not mentioned anywhere in the brochure

PRO: room is huge, bed is clean and huge, pillows are the best, bathroom is huge and clean - basically, this is more like a studio than a hotel room.  The view is awesome, location is right across the beach and the swimming pool is great for kids (shallow) and adults (long enough to do laps).

So we enjoyed our 2 days stay there very much. But we dislike the late check-in and ridiculous parking rate

It's a beauty situated right on the Boulevard overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Far enough down the strip from the honky tonk restaurants, clubs and cheesy tourist beach towel stores. The hotel exudes elegance, the room was well appointed with a king bed, full desk with a very handy Ipad, large flat screened HGTV and also had a kitchenette area with stove, fridge and cabinets. A very large bathroom with all the upscale soaps provided and full balcony................we had a room on the 14th floor.Totally amazing!

Service was exactly what you expected from a 4 star hotel......smiles, helpful and very attentive. The spa was awesome as we both had massages and pedicure for me, manicure for the wife (that's right! A pedicure for me!)

The topper was that the Hotel houses a wonderful French restaurant on the first floor called The East End Brasserie.............fabulous! Outside seating on the veranda overlooking the ocean and people watching was a blast while eating wonderful meals. This is a definite return destination for the two of us.

A bit tired coming off a bahamas cruise and arriving about 4 hrs earlier than check in time I figured our room would definately not be ready and we would have to check our bags and take a snooze on the beach at bebst. To my surprise they had a wonderful room ready for us to check into. My daughter and I were delighted with the amazing view, balcony, kitchen and not to mention the bed. Most of the resorts we've been to are usually lacking something in the room like towels, working electronics, coffee. Our room was fully stocked, clean and in working order. Bed was comfortable and the people at the front desk were courteous, understanding and helpful. From getting us beach towels, food recommendations, printing our boarding passes and offering us a later check out and use of their facilities due to a late pm flight.I would totally recommend The Atlantic Resort & Spa to friends and family as it will be our place for future Florida stays.

    The good:

-Elegant, luxury hotel right on the beach
-They upgraded us to the Marlin Suite on the 15th floor -- 2 bedroom suite with 2.5 baths, a full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and a GINORMOUS balcony facing the ocean.  Amazing.
-Service was wonderful -- they were accommodating and friendly in every aspect
-The pool area was a nice place to soak up some sun, enjoy a cool breeze, hear the ocean but not have to deal with the hot sand burning your feet.  Also, servers came around with ice water and frozen grapes during those seriously sizzling hours in the afternoon
-Free wifi...you automatically connect.  No nonsense with passwords and proxies.  And it was high-speed.

Our suite alone made all the stuff below seem insignificant...but what's a review without the bad and the ugly?  So here goes...

    The bad:
-The food at East End Brasserie was very average.  I expected more from a luxury hotel.
-Parking was $28 a day!  Yikes!
-I wish they had some umbrellas set up on the beach for hotel guests like they do at the Sheraton Beach Resort down the strip.  I know the hotel is located across the street but at the Sheraton, there is a private little beach just for guests with waiters to bring you drinks and food.
-You trade the close proximity to shops and restaurants for peace and quiet...not sure if this is a bad or a good but when I had to walk all the way down to CVS to get some sunscreen...this seemed like a bad...
-No Verizon service in the rooms...the constant searching and roaming drained my battery life :(

    The ugly:
-We had an oceanfront studio on the 10th floor our first night (before the upgrade) and the bathroom smelled like smoke.  We left the windows open and left for the day and it had dissipated but then returned the next morning!  Something in vents perhaps?  Either way...gross!

We got a good deal from Snique for 4th of July. Our room normally runs for $300 plus a night but we got it for $160 with an ocean view ;)  It didn't matter how much we paid for it cause the hotel's level of service exceeded our expectations. We got there at 4:30pm and check-in was a breeze. Parking is $28 overnight so about the same if you park on the street. Las Olas & A1A (where the fireworks and restaurants are) was only about 15 minute walk. Our room (#1216) was huge with king size bed, mini-kitchen w/ fridge, stove, sink. The bathroom has separate toilet, shower, double sinks and separate tub. But it's all about our balcony with the southern ocean view (see my pics)!  It was perfect to watch the fireworks. And don't forget, the hotel is across from the ocean so it was convenient to jump for swim to help cure the hangover :)  Hotel has an elegant French Bistro and Lounge facing the ocean as well.  I highly recommend this classy hotel for anyone who wants impeccable service and well maintained property.

I had an appointment at the ATLANTIC HOTEL SPA. It was not only beautiful and relaxing but amazing as well. The facilities are serene and clean. The staff is attentive and polite.  I had a Orange Blossom Facial done - one that was far superior any other facial I had done. I look TEN YEARS younger! I also had an aromatherapy massage (80 minutes). The massage parlor ambiance was relaxing with melodic, harmonious music in the background. The pressure of my massage was tailored to my specification. The massage bed was heated for comfort.

All in all ... it was relaxing, clean, and picture perfect. I will most certainly return.

I have stayed at the Atlantic several times Pre & post cruise.  I love this Hotel.  It's a lot smaller them most of the other hotels on the beach.  Service has always been friendly.  Rooms are wonderfully comfortable!! Price is right In line with all the other hotels in the area.  I love the spa.  I have had several messages, and the have been the best messages I have ever had.  I enjoy the pool, it has a beautiful view of the beach.  It's the perfect place to relax in the afternoon.  I have never tried their restaurant for dinner, but have enjoyed it for breakfast.  I love sitting out on their patio next to the beach enjoying a cup of coffee & an omelet.  Sheryl the concierge was very helpful with any and all our needs.  She arranged for transpiration back to the hotel from port everglade with no problems.  I will stay there again when my travels take me back to Fort Lauderdale.

Went for a spa day with the girls and it was lovely. My massage and facial was wonderful.! Then went to have lunch at the upper deck, Francisco was amazing!!!!! He made jokes and gave his suggestions. Our mojitos were just perfect along with lunch. As for the ambiance, the music was god awful. I mean I wanted to take a nap half way lunch because the music was depressing. Spoke with Daniel, a manager or something within the lines and he didn't do a thing. All Daniel could do was make some insulting comments about pole dancing music. But luckily he disappeared quickly and Francisco made up for it. Y

Holy cow this place is gorgeous.

My boyfriend brought me here as a birthday present and it was the definition of high-end. The service was fantastic from the minute we stepped out of the cab (with the helping hand of the concierge who stays by the door all day to direct you, call you a cab, whatever you need) to the minute we left.

Check in was easy and hassle-free. Note that you need a credit card on file (just like all hotels) and they put a $100-per-day hold on your card for potential damages. Obviously if you don't damage anything, you don't get charged.

The room was palatial - french doors into the bathroom, a vanity for doing your makeup, large closet, heavenly bed, huge flat screen television, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, the works. Desk with a chair that oddly did not slide under because of the armrests (just a weird design flaw I guess), chaise lounge, and a nice little patio that overlooked the ocean and strip.

We did the "ocean view" not "ocean front" and since there was a tropical storm the second half of our vacation, I'm glad we didn't spring for a view of the ocean spray and clouds.

The shower was wonderful, the amenities were fantastic, we slept like babies in the huge bed, the TV had ALL cable channels not just a few. The pool was just as pictured, the bar and service at the bar were top-notch. It really felt like we were on a mexican vacation.

The only reason that this place doesn't get 5 stars is that the prices are just a little past the line of outrageous. $6 for a cup of coffee at breakfast? Really? Coffee is coffee is coffee, and a hot cup of joe (especially in a teacup) shouldn't cost you $6 anywhere but the Congo.

Everything else was literally SUPERB. I would come back in a flash, if I could afford it!

I waited over a week to hear back from Heidi, the hotel manager or even better a spa manager before posting this review. My friend and I bought travelzoo vouchers for a facial and massage here with a glass of champagne. One Wednesday I unexpectedly had the day off so we called and booked 3pm appts. We got there around 2, checked in by the staff who at this point was pretty indifferent and went right to steam. We didnt shower because there were dirty towels in both showers. Whatever; we will shower when we're done. After a very very mediocre almost bad massage with a guy (Julio, Juan) I was ready to leave already. He didn't use a eye mask (huh?)didnt even replace my arms and legs after massaging them, I had to move myself back under the covers etc. It was horrible. Like being rubbed with lotion by my horny husband. I had a facial with Gypsy (?). The best part of this day was my facial. I was very relaxed for those brief 25 minutes; she did a fabulous job. Afterward it was about 445. We walked into the spa to find it completely pitch black and dark. They had turned off all the lights the steam and sauna were off as was the Jacuzzi. The blond spa attendant came to tell us the spa closes at 5. Okay excuse me?!?!?! We've checked the hotel website as well as the spa website they all say the spa closes at 7. She let us know as a courtesy they will stay open until 5:30. Um ok we guess. What choice do we have? Out of the Jacuzzi to the showers we go. Now there are only 2 showers but one STILL has not been cleaned (over 2 hours) and there are the exact same towels inside. We asked the spa attendant that was on duty (blond chick) and one who was off (we guessed she worked there and was off she had on snakeskin pants walking through the spa constantly) to move the towels and they just stared at us. So I shower while my friend lays in the (cold) sauna. When I come out she goes in and I go into the steam room. While im inside (the time is around 5:20) the spa attendant comes inside to say they are closed. I told her "im aware of that you've made your point". At this point she goes to get the front desk attendant and they BOTH enter the steam room to tell me they are closed. Mind you im completely naked! I explained to them "my friend is still showering. We will both be out of here by 5:30." They leave. While my friend and I are dressing we're discussing this horrible day that was supposed to have been relaxing and in walks the spa attendant (blond) to tell us they were nice enough to stay open until 5:30 and we should be thankful for that. Again, excuse me?!?!? Why are you eavesdropping?? Not only that, but we're still NAKED!! She began this huge argument about how we should be gone already. We tell her to bring her manager we're not going to argue with someone in her paygrade she has a boss. She tells us no, she's getting security to get us out. As if we werent already trying to do so. She comes back with a MALE security guard and lets him into the locker room. Seriously?!?! We're not dressed!!! He tells us to leave or they will call the cops. We're trying to!! By this point we both were totally pissed and appalled. When we came out of the locker room the hotel manager was there (Heidi) who explained we didnt have to pay gratuity. The massage sucked so I shouldnt have paid that anyway. She also took us to her office where she explained she's told spa staff to remain open until AT LEAST 6 and the male security guard should never have entered the locker room. This lets me know the spa has had issues before. Seems as though the employees saw the day was not busy with bookings and wanted to leave early. Which is a fail on management's end. They should not have the option to leave before the closing time posted. What if I called at 530 to make a 6pm appointment? ? They also should know to clean the showers and shouldnt have to be told by a guest to do so. And even when told they still didn't do it!!!. My friend and I havent stopped talking (in pure amazement) about how unprofessional this spa is and how horrible our "relaxing spa day" was. A total waste of money and I'm still trying to decide if losing out on $99 is worth a report to the BBB.

I just spent an amazingly romantic weekend with my boyfriend at this hotel. The room was so spacious especially the the bathroom! The pool was great but even better was the beach across the street. We saw the sun set and rise every morning. The staff was very attentive, whatever we asked for, we got. & I cannot forget the food at restaurant it was delicious! Best chicken and waffles I've ever had :) I can't wait for another beach weekend getaway. This is definitely a fantastic place for couples! It was quiet enough to get away from everyone but also in walking distance of all the local fun.

Hotel location is great and right on the beach, the rooms are large and spacious and the pool area (including the great staff) were great. The service was...not so great. Waited almost 2 hours for room service and we had to ask for toilet paper twice in 4 days. The food was tolerable at best - my partner didn't like anything she ate here, and we ate elsewhere as much as possible.

This morning after a not-so-good breakfast my partner looked at me and said "next time we come we aren't coming back to this hotel". That says it all, I think.

Giving this hotel 3 stars is a stretch.  Rooms are large but it is dated and did not feel clean.  They have small kitchenettes but there is a warning sign that says although the dishes and stuff are clean they are not sanitized to Federal and State standards.  If they are warning I am frightened.  The bed was VERY uncomfortable, the bathroom not clean, the air conditioner barely worked and was loud.  I will not return here again unless they get a major renovation.  The lobby had a smell of cleaner trying to mask a bad odor.  Just not nice.

Best massage of my life. The spa is lovely, the pool is amazing and the beach right across from the hotel was great. We came here on a travelzoo deal for a massage, mini facial and pool/beach day. This was incredible. I loved every second I spent in this hotel. The spa was truly amazing- slippers and robes, all toiletries. The mini facial kind of sucked but the massage more than made up for it. The nachos sucked- don't get those- the guacamole was super bland and the chips were also tasteless. All the little details make it great as M.E. said. I felt very comfortable every moment I was here. We were able to borrow beach towels from the front desk, go out to the ocean, swim, and then come back and take showers -phenomenal. i loved my spa day here and I am totally going to come back here the next time I am in Ft.Lauderdale.

Take my advice from someone that loves luxury and service this is not the place if you used to excellent service or luxury. The service is terrible I don't know if any up scale hotel that does not train their staff properly everyone knows nothing and is dumb as rocks. I have never been so annoyed in my life. Management has no clue and they don't care. The rooms are nice and the food is not bad but overall I would never recommend to anyone this hotel other then people i don't like, no strike that not even to people I don't like. Stay clear of this hotel it sucks 5 star sucks. Oh and I forgot to tell you the worst part the pool wow are you serious disgusting joke. It's small, nasty and not fun what so ever it's depressing I was ready to end my life sitting their. I definitely enjoyed my stay at The Atlantic Hotel.  I often joke when I go to a hotel that the room is nicer and bigger than my apartment but in this particular case that might not be a joke at all.

Rooms are a very nice size, I had an ocean view studio, the bathroom and living area are both large, there is also a nice kitchenette with a stove, microwave and mini-fridge.

Bed was ridiculously nice, about a million pillows all soft as cotton, mattress was the perfect firmness level.

Bathroom was well equipped with a standing glass door shower, a tub and dual sinks.

Service was good, I didn't need much while I was there but staff was friendly and accommodating for the few needs I had.  Came in about 12 and check in isn't until 4 but an early check in was allowed as the room was ready.

Beach is right across the street, and wasn't overly busy so there was plenty of space to set up shop.  Location is also good but not great, it isn't in the heart of the hustle and bustle but is in walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shops.

Well worth a visit if you're planning on staying in the Fort Lauderdale area.

I rated this a 4 only because of how front desk person Robby handled out situation. This is a very exclusive hotel. We checked in at 4 and room was not ready. We had to go to the bar to get a drink. However, when I went into the bar one of the waiters was taking a picture of the hostess and they said order from the bartender yourself.
Once our room was ready at 430 we went up and for $300 expected a dynamite room. We went in and faced 2 floor fans drying out the carpet.
I went down and talked with Robby who wasn't the person I initially checked in with.
He was more than gracious and apologetic. He walked me into another room and asked if would be acceptable. It was a suite and awesome. He took a bad situation and turned it into a positive experience. This is what great service is all about and what you expect from a 5 star hotel. As long as Robby is there this is a 5 star. I gave it 4 because he won't be here 24/7. Maybe train the rest to be like Robby.

My husband and I just stayed her for 6 nights. I looked at a lot of hotel resorts online before booking and wanted a true luxury spa resort. I wish I had read my own yelp first and I never would have stayed here-I am writing this so others understand what this place is and what to expect.
An ocean view room will not get you a full view of the ocean--in fact--it will get you in a view of some sort of new construction from almost every room (we were shown) and some ocean if you peek around the corner wall. Oceanfront is a full ocean view but I had booked an ocean view suite which was a large spacious bedroom, living room, kitchen area with not much ocean and some construction.

The WORST thing and I WARN you now about this room for me was that it had NO black out shades behind the cheap white shutters in the bedroom. On vacation-I do NOT want to awake when the sun comes up every morning. For a luxury 4-5 star hotel-this is terrible!
They had nothing else available that was the same size room they could switch us to so I stayed with the sun every morning really angry.
We were not aware that like most hotels such as The Four Seasons, the Wynn, Ritz, etc..this one's room service ends at 10pm. Really??
My husband called in the afternoon at the spa/resort as they call themselves for room service for a healthy smoothie--they said they can't make a smoothie in the entire hotel. He tried for 6 days to get a smoothie there--he walked 3 days in a row in the rain the the Hilton to buy fresh smoothies.
Remove the words "spa/resort" from your name Atlantic. They don't own a blender is what we were told! Seriously! 100%

The spa: They are closed on Monday and Tuesday which might anger you if you are escaping for a nice spa trip. Also, they decided to just randomly close form their normally super early hours of 5pm to 4pm two days in a row--I guess they can just do that and kick you out.  Terrible.
We were complaining about these issues and they said they'd take care of our valet parking. Whoopee...big deal.
Next...on the 3rd morning in our room..my husband notices our door to our room just pushes right back open after he shut it. It hasn't been locking the entire time we were staying there. Security! Now that's really bad...how many other rooms could also have this issue? I called and they acted like I was overacting that our room had basically been unlocked for 3 days with all of our belongings in it. They fixed it but no big deal to them.

Sunday brunch: For Father's Day we ate at the brunch buffet.
Let me start out by saying that we ate at the Beauty and the Feast restaurant every morning we stayed there for breakfast-the food here is actually very good for regular breakfast-the eggs Benedict were great and fresh OJ and the french toast is amazing BUT the buffet brunch was horrid. NOT worth the money--no croissants-had to ask for a couple--we ordered exactly what we got every morning and it would have been cheaper to order off the menu.
The cheap champagne is NOT even included--no one asked if I wanted anything cocktail wise so I didn't buy anything-service was terrible on this morning. Regular breakfasts--great. I did feel ripped off by this.
Every breakfast buffet brunch should include champagne and basics like croissants! Especially at $30 per person. We cost about $13 per person.

The good: the shower head in room, the bed, the daily breakfast (not brunch buffet)
    The bad--Most of it--
NO black out shades in bedroom-get blasted by the sun!
the spa hours & random closings, security on rooms/old doors, construction areas/misleading ocean views-not worth the amount paid,
no 24 hour room service which I live for!, no spa menu of healthy items like smoothies,
no gift shop, basic store on property for little needs/items, no small bakery/Starbuck's,/etc..to but snacks like most hotels have.
I came to the conclusion that the Atlantic "spa and resort" hotel caters exclusively to the condo residents/timeshare owners as opposed to hotel guests.
They are not set up and don't understand the small things hotel travelers and luxury vacationers want and expect. I am back home and feel like my money was wasted completely there and they should have refunded a few days or something a bit more after about the 4th incident.
A new GM just took over-Heidi Dennis--we never saw her, but hopefully she'll clean up it's act and make it a hotel vs a condo building because we will never return I hope you heed my warning.
I work hard and expect a nice hotel on my time off--certain things in a hotel are simply basic. They are missing so much. I run a PR firm and this is also going on a travel blog and luxury "where not to stay" site.

Atlantic is one of the better hotels but for certain things. For room size, for courteous staff, for cleanliness, for impressive views, for helpfulness in business or travel matters like printing out your boarding passes for you definitely Five Stars.

For travelers who come in early, the will securely stow your belongings but their check in time is 4:00pm which they adhere to whether they have rooms ready or not.

For beach goers and sunbathers, I really can't recommend the Atlantic. The beach is located across the 4 land heavily traveled A1A highway in an area which is far from being one of the better beach areas of Fort Lauderdale. Also, the hotel itself does not service the beach area so there are no hotel chairs, umbrellas or like available unless you rent them from a private concession which not only charges some rather significant fees for simple beach chair rentals but also tosses you out and up off your rental promptly at 4:00PM.

The only time I have used the Atlantic was when I suddenly got stuck having to host a number of business associates who contacted me at the last minute. Regardless of the problems involved with spur of the moment travelers, the Atlantic came through for me accommodating everyone with really huge spacious well appointed and superbly decorated rooms. Also, as we thought one of guests should have some additional security because of his high public recognition factor, the hotel quickly and efficiently arranged for it with a private security agency.

Their in house restaurant, East End Brasserie, located on ground level but with lovely views of the beach and ocean offers a selection of rather outstanding fresh seafood along with excellent service.

Just got back from 3 nights at this hotel and I am already missing it so much! I can't say it is the most glamorous but the staff is just so incredibly attentive and polite. It's like a breath of fresh air. I definitely recommend an oceanfront room. There is nothing like waking up to the view of the ocean and being able to eat breakfast and drink a mimosa on your balcony. It is so relaxing. I also love how flexible they are about the pool and jaccuzzi hours. We could sneak in and out at night as we pleased as long as you are quiet the staff doesn't mind. The hotel has a lot of restaurants and bars that are walking distance. It is very quiet in the hotel/pool area so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for somewhere with a lot of action. But otherwise it was a very nice get away and would definitely recommend this hotel

Nice people. Smaller hotel but nicely done and totally worth a visit. Rooms are big and well done. Drinks and food are great!

Every time I walk past any employee they smile, say hello and ask if they can be helpful. I'd return because ownership clearly cares about relationship. :)

The breakfast was cold and so returned. The replacement food was also cold and the manager told us "No one else has complained" thus demonstrating both a lack of customer service and a contempt for the customer. Suggest she reads this: hms.harvard.edu/sites/de…

Where do I start to tell you about the wonderful experience I had on 12/15-17?

First off we were greeted by Allison at the front desk.  Friendly and extremely helpful.

The suite (1016) was amazing, exceeding my expectations.

The pool/fitness/spa area is gorgeous.  Francisco, Adam and J.D. (?) were awesome as well as the food (had lunch by the pool one day and breakfast the next.)  YUM!   WOW, a 5 star stay.

Suggestions:  I was disappointed that there was no gift shop.  I forgot my beach tote and I would have been proud to sport the hotel logo on my arm.

Also I was surprised that the Men's Spa closes at 5pm.  Would have loved a sauna/steam after dinner (at least until 8pm).

    Will definitely be back.

We are currently guest here at The Atlantic Resort & Spa and it is nice. The room are spacious. The service is wonderful. But unfortunately for me, it lacks a certain something, mainly not paying attention to detail. Firstly, our bedding is ripped up in spots. There is no excuse for that. The pool area is depressing. The chaises are stiff, they have no cushion so the towels slide every time you move.  It is sadly without any ambiance. Not many plants and not enough chaise lounges. The complimentary products they have in the bathroom are low grade and are not replenished. The robes are very stiff so they are not comfortable after a shower. Not sure if we would return.
I expected more. Hopefully they will make some changes since their are more high end properties being built near by.

Spent a long weekend at the Atlantic hotel. Beyond excellent service . The entire staff was very helpful and made sure we had the very best stay. The room with the kitchenette was perfect. Everything was well kept and clean . Easy beach access. Great food. Nice pool. Jerome the concierge was very knowledgeable and everything he suggested was perfect .  Highly recommended. We will be staying there again !

Loved this hotel. I'm happy I didn't listen to some of the negative reviews because I truly thought it was great. We had a girls weekend here this past weekend and the atlantic was a prefect place to stay. We could walk to the bars (10-15 min.. No biggie.. Or hop in a cab for $4), close to restaurants, the beach is right across the street, the pool was small but beautiful and I loved the pool area in general. All of the employees were so kind and outgoing. Very helpful and attentive. The room was great, clean, and spacious. There was some noise because of construction at another hotel but it was by no means unbearable and totally out of the control of the atlantic hotel. The restaurant is really good, we had brunch there on Saturday. Food was delicious and bottomless mimosas/bloodys. Overall, wonderful stay.

I did not stay at the hotel, but ate at the hotel pool bar and spent time at the pool while on a spa visit.  Great location.  If you stay, know you have to cross the street to get to the beach (as is the case with the hotels on Fort Lauderdale beach) and the pool is small and can be hard to grab lounge chairs if it's busy.

If you eat at the pool bar get the crab cake BLT (seriously, get it) - it's delicious and I wanted to stick around for dinner just to have another one.  The coconut shrimp wasn't great and I'd recommend skipping it.  Tax and 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.

I was given a living social spa certificate as a birthday gift which included a 50 minute massage and express pedicure.

Unfortunately the day that I wanted to use the voucher, the manicurist was out, but they offered to upgrade my massage to the 75 minute massage. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The massage was great.

The facilities are very nice and clean. With the voucher I was given access to all of the spa amenities for the entire day which included a sauna, jacuzzi pool, steam room, and the outdoor pool area. I was excited to spend the day there to relax and hang out by the pool, but by the time I was finished with the massage and had showered (10:00am) the pool was completely packed and there were no lounge chairs. It doesn't look like it accommodates very many people.

Other than not being able to fully take advantage of all of the amenities, I would say it is a very nice facility.

I stayed here for about a week recently, in a high-floor ocean view room. The hotel has a small, more intimate feel than some of the monster chain properties nearby, and is very nice, with some high-end touches. My room was large, well-appointed, clean, and quiet... The bed was very comfortable and I had no problems sleeping well

The staff quality was a bit hit-or-miss... The front desk and pool bar staff was just meh, but the valet, front lobby/bellhop, and meeting room food-service staff were outstanding

The pool is small, very linear and crowded but nice, and like most Miami-area hotels, the beach is across the street

    Would return
