We had already spent a few days in Florida while attending a ceremony at our daughter's medical school at the University of Miami.   As a Marriott's reward member, we decided to stay at a Marriott related facility.  We were dog tired after driving from Key West and it was a welcome relief to get to the suite.  We arrived on a Sunday evening and were greeted by "Cecilia" a part-timer who attends school at Florida International University. Since we had 4 in our party, she upgraded our room to a 2-room suite.  That was quite generous and we were appreciative.

The suite is a typical one with a full kitchen.  The rooms were quiet and the air conditioning unit was not loud.  The beds were comfortable.  There were 3 televisions - one in each bedroom and one in the living room.  We shopped at a nearby Publix market as there was no continental breakfast or restaurants nearby.  That's okay as we just wanted some cereal and some eggs to hard boil.

The suite is located in an industrial part of town and probably not in the best area, but it was comfortable and quiet.  We didn't use the pool or full use of the kitchen, but we did use the Internet service at the front.  The staff was very nice to allow us to stay just beyond the checkout time of noon, before catching our flight back to San Francisco. We stayed two nights.  The service and accommodations should be the standard for other Marriotts.

I gotta say that the receptionist in the office where I checked was super friendly. She went out of her to tell us everything we needed to know about the hotel. We had a lot of questions about where we could buy groceries, and other locations. The receptionist went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. Employee help, gotta give 5 stars.  Everything gets worse from here.......

I am in the technology field and I need Internet.  I need reliable Internet and Towneplace suites was really short in this area. Don't stay here if you need quality Internet service. I had my devices connected to the physical network because the wireless Internet in my building was almost impossible to connect to in my room.... Internet access 1 star.

Room quality was good. The room has a kitchenettes, everything was clean but there was a musty odor that was noticeable when first entering the room. The bed was good, lots of pillows. This room also had a large desk area with a pull out table. 3 stars for the room.

If you are expecting a continental style breakfast here you will be greatly disappointed. They have muffins in plastic, fruit and cereal. That's it.

Good location and nice to have a kitchen or a longer stay. Breakfast is simple as folks described but good for travelers trying to keep heathy--cereal, yogurt and fruit.

Only noticed some questionable housekeeping practices, when the water glass somehow ended back in the cupboard after sitting in the sink where I initially placed it there when i noticed the lip marks from someone drinking from it. I should have told front desk, but forgot.

It hasn't stopped me from staying here again and is not any more unlikely than another hotel. I just was my stuff.

There is no way I could give any more stars than two, rounded up from one and a half.
My boots stuck to the bathroom floor.
I stay on the high floors of hotels so people are not stomping on my ceiling.
Instead at this location there are kids running up and down the halls screaming.... Dang!
The barking dog is a nice touch.
This place is very low on the Marriott price scale.
I wish I would have looked harder. There is a full service Marriott two miles from here.
Guess where I will be staying on the next trip?
Not here.

I am shocked that Marriott allows it's (otherwise solid) name on this place. Horrible smell in my room. Damp. Dark. Very sketchy area of town. Trust me - avoid this place.

It is four star for this category not a four star hotel just to get that straight.

Check-in 2am in the morning super friendly receptionist upgrades me to nice corner suite (although I am Marriott Platinum) nice quite room solid good nights sleep, late check-out no problem.  Did not have breakfast there so no opinion.

Nothing around the location though no walking to restaurants etc.
