This is a really nice place to spend a few days. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Nice pool area and the bar attached has beer at a good price.

My family from up north stayed here when they came down to visit last week. The location's great because it's close to downtown Fort Myers and the Edison-Ford Winter Estates, which is always a fun place to take out of town guests. There's a nice dock to tie up to, so we brought our boat over and took everyone out for a ride and then ate at the seafood restaurant that's on site. The rooms were updated and were very clean and spacious. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of the river and city skyline. Everyone really enjoyed their stay!

I'm really amazed at the deal we got on the room. It was only $85 for;
Water-facing room
Quiet
Clean
Courteous staff
Just across the river from downtown
Two large queen beds
Free WiFi

We often stayed at this Best Western while visiting our parents in Cape Coral. The rooms have floor to ceiling views of the river and city. The facility is older and somewhat run down on the exterior. The rooms however are usually freshly cleaned, and the sheets well laundered. Ice is easily available from the machines on several of the floors. Internet access was available in the room free.

The only time we didn't like our stay was when we were right next to the restaurant fans and they made a lot of noise. The restaurant closed for a while and it was one of the reasons we liked to stay here, good food readily available. I think the restaurant may have re-opened under different management since we visited last. There's many other restaurants in the immediate area along with a 7-11 for supplies.

The swimming pool is well-maintained, usually heated, and offers a good swim.

Our membership card often netted us free nights.

The office staff was usually helpful about meeting our needs.

This North Fort Myers hotel is on the river.  Each room faces south to Fort Myers, across the river.  Spectacular views from each balcony.

The rooms are large, clean but a little dated, typical for most Best Westerns - good value, location and service.  Good wifi service (free) .  There is not continental breakfast on site but an IHOP in the same parking area.

One downside is this is not Fort Myers.  The area where this hotel is is full of chain restaurants and strip malls.  However, the historic Fort Myers is a 5 minute drive across the bridge.

I stayed at this Best Western last year (April 2013) for 2 nights.  I got the best deal it was under $100 total each night for the top floor corner room facing the water.  The view is beautiful especially on a clear day.  It is not the fanciest hotel but it was modern and clean.

The room was really big and so was the patio facing the water.  It had a fridge which was nice and the bed was comfy.  We never used the pool or ate at any on-site restaurants.  There is a Denny's that shares the parking lot of the hotel but there are plenty of other places to eat in the area.  Free Wi-Fi that actually worked well and the staff during check-in/check-out were very nice. Overall we had a nice stay here.

I've stayed here twice now and I really am just in love with this place. Between the good price and beautiful location, it's just perfect. It's so relaxing and rejuvenating... Plenty of privacy... Good service... Wonderful location. It's clean and comfy. Everything you need to for peace and relaxation. Both times I've left here feeling refreshed and new. It's not overly luxurious, but certainly not too shabby. It's truly perfect for relaxation and comfortability. Rooms are plenty spacious enough, even the smallest ones. The view is miraculous and if you're going to stay here, get a waterfront view, period. It's beautiful both night and day. Love this hotel and I plan to become a regular

Wow! Where do I even begin? Dirty, run-down, and ghetto would describe the Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront. The hotel is in such a seedy area. When we got there, we immediately felt unsafe. I tried to cancel our reservation, but they would have charged us for the night so we stayed. Big mistake. The room smelled like dog. Shortly after we got settled in, a dog started barking from the next room. The bathroom is poorly lit and grimy. The outlets won't hold a plug. The closet door won't open because it is broken up top. we got shocked when we tried to turn the lamp on. We are on the first floor, which means one whole wall of our room is totally not secure. Its glass. The lamps are dusty, the dust is becoming airborne because of the fly that's buzzing around. The air conditioner vent is warped and busted. The bathroom fixtures were all corroded.

One last gripe: This one is petty, but I'm a television producer so it bothers me. The lighting fixtures have different color temperature bulbs in them. Seriously, the dual wall sconce light is 4200K on the left next to a 2400K one on the right. Across the room we've got 3200K by the desk.

I travel 100 days a year. This is my first Yelp review. That should tell you how awful the property is...

This hotel was great. There are no issues at check in. The people were always friendly and helpful particularly the evening girl Hernez.

Our room faced the water and had wireless internet and a desk with an office chair. I really appreciated this as I was working a lot. The room was large and comfortable.

There is a little restaurant directly in front and although the food wasn't great the view was nice it was a good place to get some oysters and a drink. The cleaning staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool but saw several people enjoying it.

There is a sushi, Thai, rib and I IHOP restaurant within very short walking distance.

It is a short drive to the downtown. The drive to the beach is a bit long but not too bad I wouldn't want to be much further.
