Stayed here durning November 2012 for a lacrosse tournament. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable.. Fridge didn't seem to be very cold, plates/dishes and silverware were in short supply (2 spoons, 0 bowls & 1 plate). Room cooled off nicely when we adjusted the a/c upon our return.. HOWEVER in the middle of the night I woke up sweating. The only thing I can think of is that this hotel has the "Eco-friendly turn your room into a sauna" thermostats installed. I can not stand those what so ever. A nice comfortable room doesn't feel so comfortable at 2AM when you are drenched.

We arrived at the hotel during the Memorial Day holiday weekend only to find that they had given our room away with no explanation.  Even though they were at fault, the manager refused to make it right in any way and instead offered us a Smoking Room at FULL PRICE.

We are non-smokers.  When we opened our suitcase at our home, all of our clothes smelled like cigarettes.

I called Hilton to ask for any kind of compensation or even a voucher for a discount on a future stay.  "I can't help you," was the reply.  "Do you guys stand behind the Hilton brand?!?" I asked incredulously.  "I'm not allowed to."

This hotel caters to Airline employees and doesn't care about the general public.  You might want to stay somewhere else. The simple policy that they follow is "I can't, I won't, too bad."

Impressive hotel. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, good-looking property, lots of free amenities. Overwhelmingly good value. We stayed here to break up a trip on I-75. Would highly recommend.

This hotel has comfy beds and a reasonable size sofa bed in the lounge/seating area. The small kitchenette has a microwave and an American fridge/freezer. Also worth noting is the DVD player in the lounge. There is a small pool and BBQ area and the hotel has ample free parking.

In itself, the accommodation and facilities are worth 5 stars in the hotel category that Homewood competes in. What sets this hotel apart is the very simple policy that it follows. Namely if you have an issue or a problem, it is attended to immediately, no fuss whatsoever, that's it. If you need some fresh milk in the night for a cup of tea and the kitchen is shut, no problem, the issue is resolved.

The staff and employees at the hotel, from the bell hops to front desk are efficient, friendly and attentive and make this hotel a resounding success. Add in the location which is no more than 10 miles from Outlet malls and shops, a mere 15 miles to the beach and opposite the Gulf Coast Town centre and you really can't go wrong. Special thanks to Bernie for looking after us at breakfast.

We stayed at this property for an extended period and near the end had to stay a few extra days.  We added the dates online and when we notified the front desk about making sure we stayed in the same room they gave us a very hard time, as our online booking was not for the same category, it was $10 less!  So they actually were going to move us, even though we paid thousands of dollars for our 3 weeks.  In the end they "did us a favor" and let us stay for those 2 nights in the same room, how giving of them!   HORRIBLE FRONT DESK STAFF!  RUDE and UNFRIENDLY.
Overall we were not happy with our stay, had issues with A/C,  beds were not comfortable and in general not a good stay.  I preferred our stay at the Embassy Suites, as better front desk and staff overall are much better.

My family stayed at the Homewood Suites/FGCU/airport for 25 days between closing on one home and the next being completed. We had a one bedroom suite consisting of a king bed, bathroom, vanity, large screenTV, dresser, nightstand and closet in one room and a pull out sofa, dresser, a second large screen TV, end tables,  ottoman in  the other.
Kitchen with full refrigerator,  dishwasher,  microwave oven,  Kitchen table and all the silverware etc.
      even a garbage disposal.
There was an excellent breakfast every morning and dinner Monday through Thursday.
The entire staff was always smiling and extremely friendly from the front desk, the dining room staff to the van drivers.
Even housekeeping when we advised them we did not want to be bothered as we kept weird hours, NOT ONCE did we get the annoying knock on the door "housekeeping"
Lastly it is extremely convenient to just about everything with the Florida Gulf Coast Town Center Mall directly across the street.
An added plus is they are pet friendly!

UNBELIEVABLE!! Never Thought This Would HAPPEN TO US!! Had extended our stay and were APPROVED by A Front Desk Staff Member. My husband had even gone has far has paying, for the first week that we weretay and were APPROVED by the staff. My husband had even gone has far has paying, for the first week that we were there, even though we were not due to check out. The AGMgr. Approached our table during dinner hour.Sat down, did not ask and was Not INVITED. Proceeded to question my husband, could we do them the favor?? Of changing to a much smaller room due to sports teams coming.EVEN though we were Hilton Honor Members.15+ Years. To the best of my knowledge the word favor means voluntary not obligation. We were not comfortable with that type of arrangement. Being that it was not suitable for our situation, and business agreement. The A.G.Mgr. Completely Changed her Friendly Demeanor, to you can Either Leave the Room, or specified. Raising Our Rate to Almost DOUBLE OF WHAT WE WERE PAYING. HAD Agreed. Upon signing such a Document.THE HOTEL, BECAME TOTAL CHAOS.DUE FOR THE MOST PART TO UNSUPERVISED YOUTH. The service staff was working very, very hard. Specially the food and housekeeping. I can imagine that these organizations may bring large quantities of revenue to this facility, among others that participate. Unfortunately they may be seasonal. What about the loyal business travelers? Hopefully it is not irrelevant. My husband has served 28years of service to our nation in the military. How ironic, this happened on the Fourth of July weekend. It has been a hardship, both Physically and Emotionally. Stayed here Thanksgiving night. Had rooms for my parents and myself. The hotel and rooms were clean, everything smelled fresh, the staff was very professional, and the breakfast was superb. We will stay here again!

First time we have a stayed  in this Hilton brand hotel, clean and newer, typical free breakfasts although we did not have any only the coffee, rooms are nicely done with the small kitchen area, beds were comfortable although they have those small pillows that all hotels seem to be going with now, Front desk staff was very helpful and polite, when we asked them for a breakfast recommendations they came up with a very good one our thanks to them, elevators in a unusual place as compared to most hotels, but there was plenty of parking and they offered a free shuttle service to any place in  a 5 mile radius

I travel for a living and have stayed at this hotel for extended periods on three separate occasions. I have stayed at many different hotels across the country at every different price point. This is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are clean and the staff is superb! Very good breakfast and dinners that come with your stay. I suggest to anyone staying in Fort Myers to stay here...it's a great place!

We stayed at this hotel while attending the Fort Rock concert.  It is easily located right off I75 and 4 miles from the stadium.  It was an easy and quick check-in even though we arrived almost 2 hours before the standard check-in time.  There is only one single elevator in the building though.

The rooms are spotless, fresh, clean, updated, spacious and well stocked.  There is a mini kitchen with a large table and 2 oversized chairs.  The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies, full hot beverages and bag of popcorn.  The full size refrigerator was cold and has ice already made.  There is a also a dishwasher with detergent; stove and microwave but no oven.

The kitchen and living area has a separate A/C unit from the bedroom, dressing and bathroom.  Each of the 2 large windows has a pull down window screen and black out drapes.  The coffee table doubles as an ottoman.  The bedroom had clean and somewhat soft sheets.  The bedding has 2 body pillows and 2 standard pillows that were fully stuffed.  There is a sheet, down blanket and cotton duvet.

The bathroom was extremely clean and stocked with Neutrogena bath products.  The shower had alot of pressure and plenty of hot water.  We had 3 face towels, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels.

They offer a complimentary breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, danishes, waffles, cereal, yogurt.  The coffee was delicious with flavored creamers.  They also offered a free dinner plate during the week days from 5-7pm and consists of mostly hot and cold subs with some hot entrees.
