My husband and I got a deal on priceline.com for $30/night for two nights and I have to say it was worth every penny. The only reason why we stayed here was because we didn't have very much money to spend on our vacation and it beats sleeping in the car. When we first walked into the room it was very hot and had some weird smell. We turned on the AC, which I think is something the staff should do before a guest checks in, and the smell got a little better. The bedding had cigarette burns. The size of the room was about what I would expect from a one star hotel, two queen beds and a little bathroom. The water from the sink was disgusting so we bought some water bottles. When we put them in the fridge we discovered where the strange smell was coming from, the fridge was unplugged and smelled like something had been rotting in it. It looked clean so we put our water bottles in it and plugged it back in, the bottles were cold by morning and the smell was better. The knobs for the shower were broken and sprayed water out of them. The pressure coming from the shower head was very low, probably because most of the water was coming out of the knobs. The TV was old but it worked and had lots of channels when we first got there but by the second day all of the channels were gone except local. We didn't really mind because we spent as little time in the room as possible. The continental breakfast was so crappy I just had to laugh. Two kinds of cereal and some room temperature milk, white bread and a toaster, a waffle iron with some box-made batter to pour in it, and individually wrapped pastries. I will avoid staying here again. We really enjoyed everything else about our vacation to St. Meyers Beach and Sanibel Island so before the next time we visit we will make sure we can afford a better hotel.

Free Wifi but barely works, some photos you find on the internet are from the place across the street. Bathroom lights broken, Chair super dirty(check some uploaded pictures), bedsheets seem clean but try picking them up (you might find tiny red surprises), I am still wondering what the stain was on my pillows, found one dirty sock from previous occupants lying on the floor, tv is from the 80s but I guess it works compared to other stuff, no coffee pot in the rooms and paper cups are not meant to carry hot liquids, holes in the blanket (guessing from the smoking rooms), carpet barely vaccumed (try walking barefoot and stepping into white bathtubs).
It'd all be alright if it were a cheap motel which doesn't seem to be the case. You'd expect some basic stuff especially when you pay 125 plus a night!

Bedbug infested!!! Stay away! Not worth it! We stayed here 4 nights and our bodies are covered in bites! We complained to the front desk last night and it 12:30 pm we checked out 2.5 hours ago and we are still waiting for our issues to be resolved. The front desk manager wanted us to go to the hospital and then wait for orkin to come to confirm the bugs.... They offered to have us change rooms last night but we checked 4 other rooms all invested. No point in changing rooms. Not to mention the rooms are infested with cockroaches. Their defense is that we waited 3 days before we complained. Well I was itching this whole time but I'm not a bed bug expert! I've never encountered them before. The rooms are outdated and my sisters room had a moderate cat pee smell. They didn't have any spray. We went and bought some.

Absolutely terrible. Came here for spring break and the first night there were ants on the sink, being late at night we tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. When we went to the desk about the ants and expressing my concern that they were by our toothbrushes the only thing they could offer was hot water to soak our brushes in. Second night our door handle came clean off. Once again we mentioned that the phone doesn't work and got no answer for it. The beds are horrible. Hard as a rock and the blankets are scratchy. Only saving grace was the fact that we had a hookah bar out front (not apart of the hotel) that we could spend hours at instead of the room. For how much we paid you would think they would be a little more on top of things, please stay at one of the other hotels on the street!

You get what you pay for. The place is an embarrassment to the HOJO chain. The bathroom door is broken, the ceiling above the tub is falling down, refrigerator door doesn't close (which caused it to drain onto the carpet).  Oh speaking of draining, the bathtub drain is very slow.  At least the bed that was made with a sheet that is too small is comfortable   One star, but that is too high.

The room is what I expected from a cheap hotel, didn't plan on spending much time in the room so it was doable. However, we heard cars pulling in and out of the parking lot all night and saw some unsavory people in the parking lot that obviously weren't staying at the hotel. Definitely didn't make us feel too safe.
We went to get a few drinks at a bar down the street and were talking to the bartender about the hotel. He informs us that it is well known for drug deals and prostitutes!! We checked out the next morning, 2 nights earlier than planned, but since it was an hour after check out time we had to pay for that night. I guess the nickname is 'HoJo' for a reason..

It was reasonably priced and the bed was comfortable.  Had many pillows also.  The front desk lady was very sweet and helpful.  Breakfast was nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for, and we paid about 45 dollars, so hey...there was coffee and waffles, so it was ok.

It looked like they were in the process of remodeling the rooms.  The dumpster in the parking lot had mattresses and chairs in it and around it.
