Hotwire put me here but did not tell me it was a smoking room.

Non Americian clerk told me to call them instead of just putting me in a non-smoking room.

Everytime the fat guy above my room moved I heard it.

Road noise all night.

Don't stay here.

DO NOT STAY AT THE HOTEL...unless you want a terrible experience. When I first arrived I was subject to incompetent check-in staff who could not correctly pronounce my name even though I slowly spoke it to them 3 times. I was give a room on the first floor when I specifically requested one on a higher floor when making the reservation over one month ago. I was given paperwork that said my room was to be serviced daily only to find out that I was given incorrect information by the front clerk and service would only be done once. While trying to get some business done the internet kept resetting, forcing me to have to go through the log in process again and loosing the work related files I had to upload. 4 times I had to re-enter the password before I quit and went to bed. A loud group of Spanish guests having a party three doors down kept me up 1/2 the night and the roof above my head creaked with foot traffic. While trying to correct some of the issues the next morning I dealt with a pleasant front desk clerk who was professional and apologetic but whose thick spanish accent made listening difficult. Never once was I recognized as a frequent traveller holding Gold Level with Choice Hotels. I do not recommend this hotel.

I was a bit skeptic to stay after reading the reviews but I can honestly say that it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. If you're looking for clean, inexpensive no frills hotel, this is your spot.

Low end motel, creaky floors, no free breakfast, no hair blower in room, no decaf coffer in room, it takes a sprcial request to get normsl motel items.  We wont be back.

Worst hotel experience in my travel history. I went to visit my boyfriend who was staying there and brought my 6 pound chihuahua. I was not intending on staying. My dog barked and a few minutes later a woman who said she was the owner came in extremely hostile saying we lied and should have been honest about the dog and that what we did was illegal and we need to evict immediately. Really "illegal"? .My poor bf did not know what to do and she would not stop ranting about how this was her home, so he and I left. He had to get a new hotel and I and the dog head back home soon.
While I understand policies, I do not appreciate the manner in which she degraded us for a temporary situation.
She also told us he could not get his points back. Again, he was staying not me.
The hotel smelled moldy and the room was dark and dismal anyway so my bf is better off.
I am truly disgusted at the owners behavior and service manner.

Home away from home.
My husband and I travel for our business and we spend at least nine months of the year away from home and in hotels.  My first choice is always Marriott properties because I can depend upon a clean, well kept hotel with excellent service and great rooms.  Having said that, I will say that this Suburban Extended Stay hotel in Fort Myers is equal to the Marriott hotel next door at half the price! I love this hotel.  The staff remembers us from year to year and makes sure that everything is taken care of ahead of time.  We like a low floor with an extra firm bed so the owner goes to Home Depot and gets plywood before we arrive to put under our mattress.  The owner is on site most of the time and really cares about each of the guests.  The front desk staff is professional but also warm and friendly. The rooms are equipped with everything we might need for an extended stay and in good working order. Most of the guests here are regulars. That's a testament to the quality of the care this hotel gives it's guests. We keep coming back.
