Established in 1992.

The Hibiscus House was built in 1912 in Slater, Florida. Sometime in the 1940's, this large home was sawed in half and moved to its current location on palm-lined McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers. As part of the process, each half was loaded on a barge and carried across the Caloosahatchee River. The Hibiscus House has been a bed & breakfast since the early 1990's. The current owners, David & Pam McCurrach, took over in 2012.

This is a beautifully appointed inn...everything  is thoughtfully  there for the guests. The innkeepers are sociable and provided us with suggestions to make our visit more pleasure able. This is one of the best B&Bs in which we've ever stayed and the location, walkable to lovely downtown Ft Myers, is excellent.

Home away from home.  Traveling with friends we had a delightful experience staying at the Hibiscus House B&B. The rooms newly renovated were spacious, beautifully decorated, thanks Pam and comfy cozy. The TV's located in both the sleeping area AND bathroom might not be a perfect fit for some, but for us being able to watch the Master's from every angle was a bonus. David ensured a yummy breakfast at 8:30 sharp each morning.  Meeting new guests and chatting with David to get the low down of FM proved to be very valuable.
    Bottom line... We'll be back!
