We stayed at the Hollywood beach tower for 7 nights for around $1250 for a one bedroom with a view of the ocean. The tower had a great pool area and the staff grilled several times this week. They have a nice BBQ area that we reserved a couple times. The rooms were spacious with a large living room area and two bathrooms. The signs said that housekeeping would do a lite cleaning every Wednesday but they ended up coming every day. The kitchenette was not easy to cook in but worked for snacking and lite cooking. The location was perfect and right on the beach and boardwalk. We brought our 5 month old and they rented a crib to us for $5 a day. You can get a cabana on the beach for $12. Sunnyside bakery is right next to the hotel and there is a good latter stand right next to the bakery. They are hard to find because the shopping mall looks closed. The down falls of the place: the shower head is low and the hot water flashes scorching ocassionally, the decor is from 1970s but clean. Overall we had a blast....we had one offer for time shares but other than that....no pressure.

stay far far away. horrible! we have paid 300 for one night to hang out on the beach for the 4th of july and so far they have sent us to a room that already had guests, we were told free parking another bonus but have been called twice to come move our car because there isnt enough parking for all the rooms. the room is ok but not as described and really not big enough for 2 adults and a teenager. we are making the most of it but wouldnt send anyone here

Stay away. While Hollywood beach area is great this hotel is definately not.
The place is understaffed and with that comes very poor sometimes borderline rude service from the staff they do have. There have not been any updates since the place was built, no daily room service, they run out of beach towels by 11:00 AM everyday, parking is atrocious, by the time trash day came around the trash chute was full with people just leaving trash bags in the hallway, the lack of staff meant no one bothered to pick it up. I can't stress enough this place is a complete dump. STAY AWAY!

- **on the beach **
- cheap accomodation (paid $80/night for an oceanview 1 bedroom + living room condo. two TVs, two full baths)
- room was clean
- barbecue available outside
- small but fully functional kitchen
- free parking
- in between Fort Lauderdale and Miami (easy access through A1A)
Not so cool:
- super thin walls (fortunately for us, we didn't have people in the adjoining room most nights)
- smelly corridors
- makes my 1960 built house seem modern
- check-in was 4:30 not 3:00 (rooms not ready)
- very tight parking spots
- disgusting parking garage (foul smells, trash everywhere)
In short, it's a rundown place that's a perfect place if you need to crash on the beach and aren't too concerned with noise or for having a social scene. Plenty of nice low-key places to have a drink within a few blocks. We loved leaving the place and spending time on the boardwalk. Lower your expectations, appreciate the price you're paying, and move along.

Arrived in the evening, greeted by security he was helpful on where we could park a vehicle the was to high for the 6'8" garage.
Check in lady was pleasant and explained all amenities. Location was easy to find. Property was very clean. Didn't see any small kids so if your trying to escape that then this resort will suit you. They have activities and BBQ around the pool. Pool wasn't crowded. Hot tub was comfortable. Boardwalk is amazing for food, drinks and interesting people watching. The room was fantastic. Nice kitchen! Publix Grocery about 1 mile away. Murphy bed in lock off unit was very comfortable. TV's had many premium channels. We will return here for sure!!

We are staying here in exchange from our timeshare from Las Vegas. We have 2 small kids and so far our stay has been great. We got upgraded from our timeshare to an ocean view room and the view is amazing. Our rooms were excellent, we got a full kitchen which came in handy with the 2 kids, the property is right on the ocean so the beach was just a walk away, plus it is on the boardwalk so there were many things to do/see/eat. We got a rental car so we were able to park in the garage, which is tiny but there's also another garage in the basement which was a lot bigger. They offered a laundry room, $1 per load both washer and dryer. My only cons were: if you ran out of TP or any other amenities you would have to go and purchase it yourself, pool is small, they wait til Wed. For towel exchangse otherwise if you need new towels, you wash it, they also did not offer beach umbrellas for rent, banana boat which is on the beach did and it was $20 for an umbrella and 2 chairs=pricey!
