If I could I would give this ZERO stars.  This Hotel Stinks, they let dogs in there, people are drinking in the parking lot.  The breakfast is gross, there were bodily fluid stains in the carpet, the bathroom was disgusting.  I was traveling with coworkers on a business trip and two of the 5 people had cockroaches in the room.  Another coworker had no towels, and after coming back to the hotel around 5:30pm, the maids have not been to the room yet.  My biggest complaint, is its 10:00pm, my room faces the pool and there are loads of people at the pool screaming and yelling...OMG...THIS HOTEL STINKS....

Hotel seems to be a one night stop for all the cruise ship passengers. Hotel is constantly busy and  the halls busy and noisy. Hotel crew was fairly friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean but little ants everywhere. Free breakfeast was skimpy at best but hostess very friendly. Probably would not stay here again.

Hotel is old. Rooms need updating. I am a  La Quinta  elite member and this is not one of the better ones. Channel guide didn't work on the TV.
Breakfast items were lacking.

Convenient location. Clean rooms. Pet friendly hotel but rooms do not smell like pets at all. Free continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again

3 night stay for work.
At check in my co had not prepaid for my room as they told me.
The ft desk manager Clinton I believe was great going above & beyond to find out what was happening.  By the next day he had straightened out the snafu.

The 1st floor was being remodeled but my room on the 4th floor was just fine.
This is my 4th different La Quinta in the last year and I liked them all.  Very nice rooms with good wifi.

Breakfast is a little weak, but it worked out fine.

Great location with easy aces to many different restaurants & things to do.

Not very pleased with this location in particular. The key to the door was always a problem during my stay. I was always having to come down to the check in to get my key replaced. Not ideal! The breakfast was cheap and not much of anything, obviously not appetizing. My room was not cleaned daily, total turn off after coming back from a long day of work. I will NOT be staying at this La Quinta Inn EVER again, even if it means not getting my frequent flyer miles.TOOTLES!.

Unsafe Area -- Stay Somewhere Else
This hotel is located in the heart of a crime ridden, dangerous area. The hotel management knows this but does nothing to protect it's guests and their property. Find another place to stay. We should have. Depsite the presence of an off duty copy, asleep in his squad car in the front of the hotel, our truck was broken into, the tail gate stolen and other parts vandalized. The responding officer said he had taken a report for the very same type of crime in the same parking lot two days earlier. If you MUST stay here leave NOTHING in your car. Double park in the very front of the lobby if you have to. Preferrably, stay somewhere else. The management does not care what you lose or how your property is damaged.

Nice hotel but it has the slowest elevator I have ever seen. We have waited 3 mins for it just to get to our floor.

Great La Quinta Inn.  Great Price.  Great People.  You can tell the owner knows how to run a hotel.  The shuttle runs at 500am.  I will be back

I stayed in a King Bed Suite, #423. The furniture and carpets are old and worn. Both the mattress and the bedsheets were cheap and uncomfortable. The door is flimsy. The walls are paper thin. Recommend you find another place, this is just not very good at all.

Nice location  at the end of a very large shopping center. You can walk to anything.
Love the fact that all la Quinta does not require a extra pet fee.
Asked for a late check out.
No problem. .. 1:00

We stayed here before we left for a cruise out of Port Everglades. A free shuttle picked us up from the Airport (when we called). When we arrived, they suggested we sign up for the shuttle to the cruise port (for the next morning) and showed us promptly to our room; clean and ready. We enjoyed our stay and the next morning at 10, were taken directly to our cruise ship. A little early, but excited all the same.

I will reserve a room again at this hotel the next time I return to Florida.

4 stars because continental breakfast was a little chaotic and unorganized - but delicious.

Just checked in for a one night stay... It is the low 60s in our room. Called to ask how to turn heat on and was informed there is no heat. I just paid 115.00 for a room with no heat? I am a la Quinta rewards member.... I stay frequently.... Or should I say I used to. Absolutely not... There are better choices in the area ... All of which have heat.

Great location. Close to a lot of shopping, ok restaurants and within walking distance to both.

We were very early checking in, but had no problem waiting for our room since we were early. Unlike the testy patron before me, huffing and puffing because there were not any rooms available since the place was full and rooms needed to be cleaned.

We roamed around and took advantage of the free wi fi and talked with Orlando, the front desk agent who made a lot of great recommendations for us and told us all about the area. Such a nice and friendly guy who was super helpful and did what he could to get our room ready.

Great pool area. Plenty of tables, lawn chairs and sunshine. Pool is a nice size kidney shaped pool. Small hot tub. Really small towels.

Rooms are better than I expected in comparison to some of the other La Quintas. Really nice and tastefully interior designed. Nothing garrish or old.
- Flat screen
- Nice size desk
- Chair
- Microwave
- Mini Fridge
- Closet
- Nice carpeting and perrgo floors
- Clean comfy beds.

Close to airport with a free shuttle.
Continental breakfast.

Hotel in general is clean and in a nice location.

Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel is not bad.  Staying one night before taking a cruise.   Not bad for the price.

Had a water view room, but hard to see the water as the window was rather dirty.  Otherwise the size of the room was nice with 2 double beds.

Only problem...no security cameras.   Went down for breakfast and my mother plugged in her phone at the charging station and went to get her coffee.  Came back and someone stole her phone, even the charger.  No cameras, no security.  They even have 2 cops cars out front,  never saw any security.
Leaves a bad taste.

Stayed here for New Years vacation, for 6 nights. I'm a frequent business traveler and LQ Returns member, so am familiar with LaQuinta. Bottom line, this is a tourist hotel. Room was clean, grounds appearance acceptable. But it is what it is, a tourist hotel. The breakfast is typical: cereal, muffins, hot waffle, juice, coffee. It has a decent pool, and located on a lake. But the room windows are cloudy, so don't expect a clear window. The rooms are ok size, but have thin walls, & the doors slam shut loudly. All I kept hearing at night were slamming doors, people talking in hallway and rooms, and then dogs barking. Housekeeping needs to be consistent as we did not get full replacement of hand towels 2x, nor replacement of tissue paper and cups. That is just simple training and management follow up.
