I love coming here!  It's got a variety of bars and clubs.  And if you want a laugh then you should head to the improv club.  There's a water and light show every weekend and if it's a family affair you're looking for they even have a zoo.  Some of the best shopping can also be done here from the money you win at the casino.  Great time all around.

i see why anna was upset!

i have seen similar experiences reviewed here. The casino, the pool and the food are great. The outside shops are very nice and alot of them.
BUT.... the hotel itself seems like it does not want to be in the hotel business. We were told our room would be only a few more minutes - we waited 2.5 hours. After finally getting to the room, wife took a shower and the drain clogged and flooded the bath. I'm not complaining about that, cause stuff happens. I called the front desk, and they said they would send someone up - 45 min and nobody. I called again, waited 20 more min and nobody. Then I called and asked for a manager. That got the security guard up to look at it - like I was lying and it had to be confirmed, lol. Another 30 min and they got us another room - where my wife had to walk thru the halls wearing a robe and towel on her head (remember, our stuff is in the bath w/ 2" of water). They said they would send someone to move our bags - you guessed it, nobody came. I went and moved all of the things to our new room, and essentially started our vacation about 4 hours after arriving!!!

Keep in mind, I did not get your average joe room, I reserved and paid for the King Suite with balcony overlooking the pool. I feel foolish for thinking it was special. Not that I was looking for a freebie, but I never even got an apology from anyone. I felt like I may have offended someone when i arrived or something....now they were paying me back in spades.

It was like they were content to make money off of the casino, and hired runaway teenagers to run the hotel biz. You can check the prices of the rooms for yourself, stay down the street one block, and thank all things holy that you don't feel like the smacked butt that I do for letting this happen.

be warned - i've read too many similar stories right here !!!

Great place! I like to during the week, daytime for gambling.  Not as crowded as nighttime.  Murphys law bar is one of my favorites, weekends a must! Place is packed!

Very cool place to hang out. The Casino has only slot machines and poker tables. The poker tables are where the action is at but, be prepared to put your name on a wait list and wait awhile. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is very different from the one in Las Vegas since they are owned and operated by separate entities (Las Vegas = Private Equity Firm and Hollywood = The Seminole Indians). This place is a dulled down version of Vegas but, can still provide the fix you are looking for. The have a very nice strip mall connected to it as well and great restaurants/bars.

We had a great time at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.  To start off with, our room was amazing. The design was very modern and though it was not huge, it was aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The flat screen TV, the large sitting chair with over sized ottoman ( there's something about being able  to sit down in a large chair, stretch out your legs, take a deep breath and leisurely read whatever you want) a nice sized desk to write on...and a big soft bed .A very comfortable room complete with cash bar and mini-fridge. I didn't touch the mini fridge or the overpriced stuff in there, but it is there, just in case.

The best thing about our room was the view.  We had a great vantage point of the huge pool and lounge area down below. But be honest "pool" isn't exactly the write word. It was more like a mini-water park, with faux- rock mountains, a big water slide, a huge lazy river surrounding the entire place, and bridges to get from the main sidewalk onto the island.  True it's not a view of wildlife or nature, but it's nice to stare out at..

Speaking of the pool... this is what made our stay for me.  Huge lazy river pool that was refreshing in the summer Florida heat.  But the real kicker was the water slide, not too big, but big enough to give you a rush and keep you climbing up the steps to do again and again.  It helped I had a ll my girlfriends nephews and nieces with me to share the excitement...its contagious man.  After trying to keep up with the kids  all day there were several hot tubs at the top of the mountain, that were the perfect way to chill-ax and regroup for another session on the water slide.

They also had a ping-pong table, where me and Richard and Daniel spent at least three hours each day playing amongst ourselves and defeating all challenging newcomers.  ( Both Daniel and Richard decided to start betting on some of our games, and both of them took quite a bit of my money...nice playing guys!) I'm always down for a friendly game of Ping-Pong, and the fact that the Hard Rock had a good table with decent racquets is a big plus.  All around the pool were different sections, One side was all beach chairs and lounge chairs where the pool and the sidewalk gently merged...like it was a beach, so Moms and young kids tended to hang out in this little "beachy" area.  Then there were Volleyball Courts, next to some very nice hammocks, then more lounge Chairs, a bar and restaurant, and then some very cool cabanas with flat screen TVs, beds, chairs, and pipes that sprayed water mist at the entrance to keep it cooler inside.

I think we went down to the Casino once, I'm really not that big on losing money, but there seemed to be tons of people who were cool with it.  We ate a a couple of the restaurants there, and they were OK too.

All in all the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was a top of the line place, with many of the finer things.  I had a great time, parking wasn't a huge issue, but it was a little complicated, nothing to get to worried about though, its a busy place

Great Place to go if you are on a date!!! I went during the superbowl and it was beautiful. I watch the game in the fountain and then afterwards watched the fireworks. It has a few cool places to choose from to eat. Unfortunately, we got up there too late to go into the comedy club. But it was nice to walk around and window shop.

i have a pleasant enough experience here.  the joint seems fairly new, and is just 3 miles off i-95.  two friends and i were in town and drove up from miami.  took about 30 minutes and overall it was worth it.

there are various table games and lots of slot machines.  i tested my luck at one of the 3 or 4 $10 bj tables.  the dealers we had all seemed nice.  one guy in particular was so helpful that i didn't really have to make any decisions on my own - he'd shout out "double down" or "split" or "stay" for me.

after a couple of hours i got food comp ticket from the pitboss and walked over to the hard rock cafe where i paid $12 pre-tax and tip for a large beer.... but i guess the catch is i got to keep the glass at the end.

i'd go back if i'm in the area again.

I have good memories here.  Went a couple times to hang out. Don't gamble though, but it doesn't matter you don't have to.  You can hang out at the bar, walk around and check out all the memorabilia and dance if your in the mood at one of the clubs. =) All in all I enjoyed it here. =)

If your stuck in hollywood, this is a fun place to go.  The casino is definitely nothing like Vegas and the cocktail waitress that served us was rude and snotty!  FYI, if your used to Vegas style casino, you should know up front that you have to pay for your overpriced drinks while gamble (of course thats if your lucky to have a cocktail waitress come by).

On a side note, if you leave the casino, there are lots of shops and restaurants that you can waste your time on.  The nightlife also looks like it can be a hit or miss.

I have stayed here a few times when coming down for business.  The rooms are great, the atmosphere is electric, from the gambling, music, restaurants, shops, spa, pool.  You don't have to leave the hotel.  The rooms are clean and updated and greets you with music playing when you first walk in.  Once I was upgraded to the Fillmore suite and in all my travels and stays, this room was one of the best I have stayed at.  Check out the pool, it has a huge mountain structure in the middle with a hot tub on top and a slide down to the pool.  I personally would not bring kids to this hotel with the gambling and smoking in the main areas but with the pool and outdoor mall area it seems to also attract families.

Having not been 21 when I first started attending college in Florida I loved hanging out at the Hard Rock Hotel's casino becasue you only had to be 18 to gamble as it is located on the Seminole Indian Reservation.

I am a slots girl and they have a great choice of games (they are constantly adding more) but it is difficult to win.  I have gotten lucky a few times though!

Recently a law passed and the gaming switched over to Vegas style which meant you now had to be 21 to gamble!  I was devastated!  But this was in April maybe and I turned 21 in June so it was ok bc I reasoned that next school year when Im back I can go again! Phew!

Anyway, there is a whole outdoor area with shops, restaurauts, nighclubs, commedy club, etc.  Very cool.

They are adding a whole new gaming room with card games- they only had poker originally but that will change.

The Blue Plate restauraunt is open 24 hours as is the casino so if you need a late bite thats where to go!  The food is surprisngly really good.  I get the French onion soup!  My boyfriend loves the steak and eggs.

Based on just going for a night out with your friends I give the Hardrock 4 stars (minus 1 for the consuming smoke smell in the casino.  It really is overwhelming.  There is a smoke free slot room but its not much of a haven).

Now ill get into the hotel itself.  The rooms are ok at best- kind of boring and could have been cleaner.  We specifically requested a smoke free room and were not given one.  I cannot sleep with that smell all around me.  The staff said they had another room and they would call us right back.  They never called back and when we called again a different person said they never had rooms avaliable.  Basically, screw us was the vibe i was getting.  They were "nice enough" to send some sort of magical device to the room that was suppossed to eliminate the smoke smell.  Rightttt.  The smell the machine left was worse than before.  The thing with this magical machine is that you cant be in the room when its running (it needs 2 hrs to work).  Ok no problem we will go down to the casino and hang out.  About 4 and a half hours later we come back to go to bed and the thing is still going strong- "sucking that smoke smell" out of the room.  We called again to have the machine removed.  We sat ON THE FLOOR OUTSIDE OUR ROOM while it was still blowing.  NO ONE ever came!  NO ONE.  My boyfriend finally just disconnected it himself and left it in the hall.

The remote for the TV didnt work, the drinks we ordered to the room tasted like dish detergent- the only nice person was the room service manager who personally delivered the new drinks and was very apologetic and comped them- but thats what you should do!

The pool is gorgeous, the food by the pool is really good (very overpriced though).  The crowd at the pool is older couples and families with small children.

Overall- no one working at that hotel gave a crap about us and our room and our problems.

And the kicker- they did this all to us on Valentines Day!  The nerve right!  So therefore they only get 1 star from me.

Its sad too because I really do enjoy when I hang out there on a night out.  Maybe one day theyll get the whole package together!

I've been here a few times for a concert and it really is an excellent venue.  Great acoustics, great space, great everything.  Afterwards, I love going to the casino and heading for the Hold Em area.  I always seem to at least double up the money I put down by the time I leave.

valet & check-in: easy
rooms: clean, bed comfortable, flatscreen tv, shower is great with temperature controls
wireless: free and simple - no registration required
coffee: around the corner from north tower - $2 coffee - can't beat that
the only pain was we had to show our room key to enter the elevator area but if that's what it takes to keep the riff raffs out then so be it
you can't stay at a casino looking for 4seasons service, otherwise this is a fine hotel to stay if you are not traveling with kids
pool: never made it that far
restraurants in the hotel - had dinner at council oak - service and food was fine
had lunch at blue plate, compares to a diner both on food and service
local must restraurants: kitchenetta & tom jenkins bbq
golf courses: jacaranda & heron bay are must plays; bonaventure ok; skip hillcrest
location: 15min from fort lauderdale airport is an added plus

The Next Time:
I will stay here if I am planning to gamble
otherwise stay elsewhere if I am there for golf

I've been to this place several times, but oddly enough, except for a quick walk through I've never spent much time in the actual Hard Rock or in the casino.  Where I've spent most of my time is on the "strip" between the parking garage and the casino.   This is a great place to spend an evening, as there is plenty to do and see.   They have a 5,500 seat concert venue here for shows, concerts, wrestling and other events, several types of restaurants (Mexican, Italian, burgers, seafood, tex-mex, and others) many different bars (an Irish pub, sports bar/grille, duelling pianos, a billiards bar where I think I saw beer-pong tables) a comedy club, a disco that always seems crowded and several other venues and entertainment options.  The parking is free (though it's usually very crowded on weekend evenings), and it's one of those places where you can show up with a group and decide what to do once you arrive, as there's pretty much something here to satisfy anyone's tastes.

I always come here on my yearly pilgrimage to the motherland, my home town, Miami. Ever since this place opened, my grandmother and auntie have been faithful members of their club. So much so they always get free rooms and makes for a nice get away.

My favorite part about this hotel is the pool. Its huge! It actually look like a beach in the middle of the hotel. its picturesque without looking like its completely out of place. Also its like 2 stories or something. It has a slide multiple bars surrounding it and of course real sand! I love it!

Of course I have to talk about the casino....the shit. I haven't actually been to a casino other than this one so I'm completely biased...but I don't give a damn!

On a different tip, NO you can't request the room that Anna Nicole Smith died in. But you could be put in it and not know it. THey just changed the numbers of the rooms. no biggie!

Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Casino
4 stars for:

Several live bands (who sounded awesome) had me, literally, dancing within 10min through the door. Pre-cocktail!

(see "Council Oak" review)

Felt like Vegas!

Unlike many Indian Reservation Casino's I've been to throughout the USA where often its No Alcohol & Gambling at the same time (what!) and/orit's Electronic Black Jack (double what!)

This place has both the luxury of drinks -while- gambling and real BlackJack Tables!

Minus 1-Star: for No Craps Tables :-(
And although alcohol is allowed, it's not complimentary to active gamblers, like Vegas

This is for Opium nightclub: A party of nine people were on Mike Orlando's private list. The club opens at 11 pm and you have till midnight to get in if you are on any list, You have one hour. There is no entrance system in place, your in a crowded mass. The guy with the list is frazzled for no apparent reason, looks confused, and has no decision making ability, so why is he there? We went on pro-bowl night so we had to wait for mike to be there b4 we could get in. The process is you get a wrist tag first, then you go in, they id you and give u this ticket, walk up to the payment window , pay if you have to or give the ticket, which makes not sense if your given a wrist tag already
The advertised "open bar" is rum and vodka not of very good quality. We were in that club for at least two hours with few scattered people roaming around while the outside was jam packed. The music got better after two am. The drinks are extremely overpriced and they DON'T HAVE HEINEKEN, that was the limit. That's all I drink , so I had to settle for Stella (wtf) . I would never pay to go in there, its definitely not worth the hassle.

Not a big gambler since I haz not a lot of money, so it's tough for me to review a casino.  The floor seemed nice, and there was plenty of ways to lose your money so that seemed good.  Pretty crowded though so I just hung out outside and watched some water fountain show

Even if you don't like to play the digital slot machines or poker, the Seminole Hard Rock Casino is worth a visit for the restaurants, bars and other entertainment. The mall leading from the parking garage to the casino has a number of restaurants, bars and retail shops that is very much like the Orlando malls. The restaurants are all very large however, I understand that it can get very crowded on weekends, so you should make a reservation.

If you plan playing the slot machines, you should go to the Players Club desk and join the club. It's free and they give you $10 to gamble with. All you need to join is your driver's license. They'll give you a coupon that you can feed into the machine. Whenever you play a slot machine, you need to insert your Player Card. Other than that, their slot machines take bills like Las Vegas. Good Luck!

There is a main circular bar in the center of the casino, that looks like the place to hang out for drinks if you are waiting for your friend playing poker. I'm not a poker player, but it felt like there was a line to get on a table.

For parking, you can park in the large parking structure as you enter the casino parking lot. You can take the elevator down to the first floor and walk to the casino through the outdoor mall. The parking is free.

You have all the fun under one roof, they have great restaurants, super cool clubs, for any taste in music, shopping, gambling you name it ;  they only thing that kills me every time we go there is the drive, which for me is kind of far, and parking is a bit of a mission because this place is always packed, so get there early. definitely worth checking out.... great Fun!!!!

They should make a casino for poor graduate students that can't afford gambling. I always want to play blackjack, but the $10 tables are few and far between. In my few times there I've split my time between winning a few bucks at video poker and watching my brother lose a few hundred dollars. There are plenty of options for food and shopping around the casino. They even brew their own beer. Major plus. I'd enjoy this place if there were more opportunities for table games with wagers under $10. It's too stressful to think that one bet is the same as an hour of work. I can't wait to get a real job, then the real gambling will begin...

Hard Rock Tampa, you can now suck it. THIS is totally my new gaming destination. Here is why, the air purifiers actually WORK, it is not all crazy smoky even in the smoking section, but if you are overly sensitive lo and behold, there is a nonsmoking section!! Also the slot limits are NORMAL, no more being forced to pay a nickle a line on a 50 line machine! I can actually play awhile even if things don't go well. They also have 50 and 100 play poker, which I am sure will end up eating many many hours of my life in the near future.

I was not a fan. Well okay, I'm not a fan of casinos in general but this place seemed really subpar.

We brought my Grandma here for her 75th birthday (the lady loves the slots) and spent 2 hours wandering in misery. I played $5 and immediately lost, my sister lost $50, my mom lost $20. Only the birthday girl had any luck and managed to walk out with an additional $80.

The slots seem to be a major rip - even the 2 cent ones require that you bet 15 credits each time.  The only table game is pokerm the drinks aren't free, I have never seen trashier clothes than at the complex shops and it took 3 tries to get a root beer. "Diet coke?". No root beer. "Okay here's your Mr. Pibb." Huh?

I guess if you live nearby and want to gamble it's decent...and your only option. But I don' t get the appeal.

Great place to go when you are looking for something to do because there are a lot of different venues to choose from. Hit the tables or the play the slots, grab a show, go out for dinner at one of many restaurants, or hit up one of the clubs for drinks. ALL of that can be accomplished at this location. The restaurants are all great. My favorite is Johnny Rockets because they have good food and they are probably the cheapest of the restaurants there. But if youre coming here you arent looking to be pinching pennies anyway so go all out. TATU is another great place to check out. Make a weekend out of it and stay at the hotel. You wont regret it!

I was here early this year and if you expect it to be like Vegas, you'll be in somewhat of a surprise.  Valet parking is NOT free, it's $10.  Me and my friends realized that parking your own car in the self parking was much closer to the rooms anyways.  The service was pretty good, the guy at the registration was super nice and upgraded me to a nicer room, maybe it wasn't that busy and they had extra higher end rooms?? lol, i don't know but he was nice enough to do it though.  I'm scared of gambling since i don't want to lose my hard earned money quickly so i just splurged on drinks and food.  I don't think this Hard Rock is owned by the same owners of the Hard Rock in Vegas though.  The room we stayed in was SUPER NICE! .....but i think it was made for couples since you can see from the living room into the shower of the bathroom through a huge glass wall.  I had to take a shower when the rest of my friends went downstairs for a drink.  My friends aren't perverts or anything like that but still.... And in the middle of the night when i went into the restroom to go pee, i left the light in the "off" position so they wouldn't see me squat to do my thing, ya know? They were all drunk and knocked out though so i really didn't have anything to worry about.  They're a buncha computer nerds/geeks who wouldn't harm a fly so i'm pretty much fortunate to have such friends :)

Anyways,  We went to The Center Bar to have drinks and ate at Tuscany Bistro.  The food was really good but again, it was pricey.  The rooms were kind of pricey as well...like at $230 per night and i went on a sunday-wednesday, but i'm sure there are dates that are probably cheaper than when we went.  The service there with the bartenders and waitresses weren't bad but they could've used a lil bit more training.  If you're a gambler and would like a nice place to stay, this Hard Rock could accommodate your every need.  If you're an average income girl like me with half broke friends.....that's another story haha

I'm on the fence with the hard rock. Yeah it's a pretty cool place to come check out. It is packed with everything one would need. Clubs, restaurants, bars, shops, anything you can ask for. That of course all comes with a price, your soul, cough cough, I mean your wallet. No but seriously, it can be a very fun place if you're ready to front the bill. Make sure you have your tool deflector on, if I didn't know any better I'd say it was home depot. On a less sarcastic note, PRE GAME! You'll save so much money and you'll already be numb to all the douches walking around. All in all, it's fun once in awhile not every weekend.

Do you like cigarette smoke?  You will love the HRC!

I smelled like I just left the Phillip Morris factory during a 5 alarm fire.
Too bad I did not win huge money because I needed an Iron Lung.
I guess the Seminole's were doing some good business selling those tax free smokes.

Beware in the Poker games.  Guys were text messaging each other with their cards and cheating like mad.  This sucks!

Stay home and play on the internet if you like being screwed out of your money by cheaters and you will at least save yourself from getting emphysema, asthma, and black lung.

I think this may have contributed to Anna Nicole's death.  (well maybe not)

Every time I have gone to this hotel I have had a fantastic time. There are so many good things to do. There are great restaurants, awesome clubs, and awesome bars. If you are in town and you would like to party somewhere, this is a great place to go. This place looks and feels just like a "mini-Las Vegas". The hotel is very pretty and the pool is awesome!

We had a great time when we visited the Hard Rock Hotel back in November of last year. The room was excellent and the staff was first class. We did go to the in prov to see Sinbad that was an excellent show as well. Plenty of restaurants around so take your pick.

And of course there were plenty of slot machines to go around... We really like to play Let it Ride Bonus but the rate of the tables seemed a bit high for my taste...

Overall we had a good time!

I love going to the hardrock, I went last night and had a blast. my only complaint would be all the thug possers that stand in each corner looking at everyone. I have to just ignore some idiot each time I go, I figure they ain't worth teaching a lesson to. I guess I've matured. My thing is that I don't care if some of these punks think that because they are in a group on ten that someone won't hesitate to smack them silly. It won't stop me from going and enjoying myself but that's the only thing that irritates me. Some are out right disrespectful looking at women saying dam and stuff even with a man next to them. But its still worth it if you can compose yourself with some of the idiots that hang out there.

Ok, so I've never been to hard rock... ::pause for gasps::

We went last night to dance the night away at Pangea... First off, the line to get into the Hard Rock was insane... we sat in the car for about fifteen minutes before even making it onto the property.... ok, so we're in, searching for parking in the sea of cars and luckily we found a spot not so far out of the way....

Next, we stood in line again to get our id's checked, this is actually something that took place a couple more times throughout the night... it was kind of annoying, if you carded me once, why do you need to card me again and again!?!

Regardless, we finally make our way to Pangea but hello, why didn't anyone tell these people a club should have a defined entrance instead of shuffling people around from one rope to the next!

We get inside and its PACKED... so we boogie our night around and curse the dj under our breath for talking instead of spinning, but all in all we had a pretty good time. The crowd at the club was decent, and the music in both rooms was really really good!

I will definitely be back to try the other clubs the property has to offer...

I've never stayed at a Hard Rock before, but I have been to Vegas a couple times and this hotel is very ... Vegas.  The decor is classic Hard-Rock with memorabilia all over the place and even a CD player in our room.    Of course there is a cigarette smoke issue, it's a casino.   I don't smoke, but I always expect it.

Our room - amazing.  There are no cheap rooms at this place (unless you're invited, maybe?)  but I got a $140 rate by booking early and prepaying.  A clean, updated, comfortable room with a cozy bed is very important to us when traveling and this room delivers.  The large, tiled walk-in shower is so awesome I think I'm going to have my husband remodel ours when we get home.  Great water pressure as well -- sometimes thats a problem in hotels.   We also have our very own Keurig coffee maker equipped with Green Mountain coffee (one of my favorites at home).   However, I don't think every room is the same here.  Someone else mentioned a small bathroom - ours is not.  Also, when I asked for more coffee I saw that some have packs - which means they don't have the awesome coffee maker.    Even with this being a basic room,  we have a dining/desk area with 2 chairs,  another cozy chair with ottoman,  a nice king bed,  flat screen tv,  and separate coffee area.  If  I'm ever back in this area, I would definitely stay again.

This review is for the hotel, casino, bars and spa.

The hotel itself is pretty nice - our room was beautiful and the service in that aspect was nice.  It was clean and we didn't have to wait two hours when we ordered extra towels.

Casino - We only did the slots, but it was still fun to sit there and waste away money.  I ended up winning 160 that I planned on spending at the 'spa'

Spa - We made appointments to get our hair done and one of us had a pedicure.  It was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had from the moment we stepped in.  There were 3 of us and we simply wanted wash and blowout with some styling.  When we walked into the spa 'lobby' the attendants at the desk asked us why we were there and shooe'd us away to the back with a point.  This is where our 'stylists' met us.  One of them looked at us and asked us what we wanted and we told her.  She asked if we could live without the wavy part of the hairstyle (aka victoria's secret style curls), and I gave her a questioning look and she just walked off.  The girl who was supposed to wash our hair (I honestly think she was high), laughed when I told her that I thought the stylist was really rude since we had made appointments and there were 5 stylists in the place.  She said that it was the stylists birthday and she wanted a cigarette and was cranky. Ok. Not my problem when I'm paying for a service.  I understand bad days, but she literally had the scowl on her face.  The girl who washed our hair only used Shampoo on two of us since the stylists were 'in a hurry to go home'.  When she said she was only going to use conditioner on my hair to speed up the process I told her that if she did that, I wasn't going to pay for any service and I was going to let her manager know.  Then I got to my 'stylist' who blew my hair dry, ran an iron through it to make the fly away's go away and told me I was done - while complaining about her current and past customers and colleagues the entire time.  The other two girls got a similar type of service.
The point of it was, I can do my hair really well, but I thought it would be nice not to have to do it myself and have someone else take care of it for a change since I was on an 'overnight vacation'.  I could have done a better job myself.

I told the manager of the spa and they still charged us $60 for the 'service'.  When I told him I wouldn't pay for something I didn't even receive, he said he would simply charge it to our room.

I feel like when you go to a spa, you're supposed to feel like you're taken care of and in a relaxed environment.  This experience was anything BUT.  We go there quite often and could have been repeat customers, but I think the fact that we look young is what they took as a sign that they could treat us badly.  So therefore, -4 stars for that.

For Dinner, we went to Tatu and the food was much better than I expected.  The setup was beautiful, the service was really nice and they even had a sake bar rolling around with a pretty girl attached to it :)

For the clubs we went to quite a few - I honestly don't remember which ones but all of them had great music and were really fun. One of the bartenders made us the wrong drinks twice and ended up giving us three shots for free (each!).

All in all, I am looking forward to our next visit. But will NOT be returning to the 'spa'.

When I go I go with a group of people and we go to Pangea ( a club situated inside HR) we always make sure we have reservations for bottle service and most of the time we have good service but recently when we went I was not too happy with our waittress.
She was rude and didn't pay attention to our concerns regarding buying bottles... She took what seemed like 30 mins just to bring the first bottles and by that time everyone had gone to the bar to get their own drinks. We get VIP tables to be served quickly and not have to go through the hassle of getting to the bar through the large crowd. We ordered a bottle of Vodka and Johnnie Walker Blk Label... Both of which i don't drink, anymore...So I ordered my usual, personal size  bottle of champagne. They didn't have the mini bottles So i just ordered it by the glass...
By the time the bottles came for everyone else I was still waiting in disbelief that she had not brought my champagne..Its not brain surgery , its pouring a simple glass of bubbly. I waited a little longer and finally got fed up so the BF went to the bar to get me a glass. By the time he came back, the waittress came with the champagne..I obviously accepted it but requested to one of the guys in our group  that they complain. Instead of serving us, she was sitting at the tables near us, flirting with guys and paying to attention.
She was my only issue. Yes, it does get very crowded on the weekend, for that reason a table is a must. Great to take a large group and have a fun night dancing. Music is a mix of house and hip hop. Right next door you can walk over to Griffin which only plays House, but the strobe lights drive me crazy so I can't stay in there for too long. Good Friday or Saturday night. Make sure you have you're ID!

Such a cool place. I wish I had more time to see it all but really we only went there to eat at a Tex Mex restaurant and meet up with fellow travelers who's flights were later. The food was excellent. Then we walked into the casino to go to the Hard Rock cafe to buy my souvenire shot glass (a must have, where ever I go) and some guitar pics for my daughter, then we left. So I really didn't see much, it was dark, time was short, but I'd love to go back.

Let me preface this review with a note that I am not a fan of casinos. That said, I must admit I had a good time at the Hard Rock.

I went for a Gloria Estefan concert and had dinner before hand at Johnnie Rockets (didn't have time to check out the real restaurants). There were plenty of staff everywhere to help guide you to where ever it is you are headed, which is nice since I'd never been. The concert hall is huge and to my surprise, actually filled up that night. I didn't much care for the folding chairs on the main level or the basketball-like floor that seemed like walking on ice with all the spilled drinks.

People watching is hilarious!

There are very obvious, "look at the big hairy mole on her nose" kind of  problems with the casino. Like the fact is virtually required that everyone smoke, whether they be in the bathroom stall or en route in an elevator. The parking is another biggie that I would think they'd want to fix ASAP - no one likes taking 45 minutes to get into or out of a parking lot. And what's up with the intersection at the entrance? Did they time the lights to only allow ten cars to move at any given time? Crazy.

All in all, it was what I expected from a casino and I would even consider going back to try one of the nice restaurants I hear so much about - providing, of course, they have a no smoking section...

This review is for the hotel only: rooms are very spacious and luxurious, the bed was extremely comfortable, bathtub was huge and the design of the bathroom was very cool.
Service? The Best! at the check in we found out that they dont have anymore king beds and the lady was kind enough to give us an upgrade to a suite with a pool view and complimentary breakfast, nice!

Room service was exceptional as well. The alaskan salmon was delicious and arrived hot and fresh. No doubt that Im coming back (besides being there few times a month at the clubs and the poker room!)

Okay so this was my first time visiting Ft. Lauderdale and this place made it an amazing trip!!

The hotel itself has a beautiful appearance, very clean and classy. The rooms are very comfortable and impressive. We had a room overlooking the gorgeous pool. Absolutely one of the key amenities of this place, the pool has multiple levels including different temperature regulated hot tubs and waterfalls along with a waterslide, great for ALL AGES. All of the kids there seemed they were having a blast, and us being of age all enjoyed the bar located right in the center of the pool.

You could swim up and order some drinks along with a good meal, the poolside food is fantastic! We also dined at the Blue Plate located inside the casino, which has the most reasonable prices and was delicious. Hard Rock Cafe is a little pricier but still also good service and food quality. All of the places located along the walkway of the resort have a good vibe lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves and it was a good mixed crowd, definitely a good spot for adults and there seems to be a great young bar crowd. The restaurants outside are a little expensive though.

Lastly the casino itself is pretty nice, a lot of slots, not as many table games. It's a good time for the most part but not the most impressive by far, may not be the place of choice for the serious gambler. You have to pay for drinks on the casino floor which is the only negative to this resort. If you take the shuttle offered from Miami like we did, you get a great deal for $25 playing points and a food voucher, but beware the scheduling is not the most reliable.

Overall this hotel and casino is a great experience well worth the price and makes for a great getaway in Florida, I highly recommend it to anyone!!

I took my man to the Hard Rock Live to see the cirque dreams; jungle fantasy show for his birthday last night. AMAZING!!!! The show itself was just beyond description and it was truly enhanced by the venue. The show is great for adults and kids both, with funny acts, family friendly content, amazing acrobatics, stunning costumes (even glow in the dark!!), and impressive showmanship. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. we were as far away from the stage as you could get (i'm not good at buying tickets, obviously) but we still had a completely wonderful, unimpeded view.

The seats were comfortable, the staff attentive, friendly, and informed, with even a little old man sitting in each elevator to press the buttons for you.

After the show we strolled outside and immediately stopped to watch a very impressive band playing at the bar right next door. The band is called high tolerance, and they are the absolute best cover band i've ever seen.

We stayed for all four of their sets and their encore. I hope the owner of that bar appreciates them, because we wouldnt have stuck around for the 14 dollar double captain and cokes if it wasnt for them. We literaly danced and sang to their sets until two am. We stayed for over four hours. Their cover music was amazing, with unexpected seguays, perfect mechanical precision, stunning vocals and one of the best lead guitar players since Lenny Kravitz himself. If you're at the Hard Rock on thurs, Fri, or Sat night, go to the bar next to the hard rock live (4get the name) and check them out! High tolerance. A must see!

When you go to hard rock, be prepared to open your wallet. Drinks are comparable to south beach prices, but it's worth it. there are amazing clubs, wonderful restaraunts, entertainment and shopping. It's always open, and center bar serves drinks 24 hrs a day. (for the next time you're craving a whiskey at 7 am.) Don't ask how I know this, It's a long story. I would highly reccomend the clubs Pangaea, Griffon, and Passions, and the bar murphy's law. Go check it out and explore for yourself.

There was no thread for Opium @ Hard Rock. So here it is.

This is my second time at Hard Rock. It reminds me of a theme park, except its exclusively for kids. There's lots of shops, and bars, and places to attend concerts at. Quite a ways from Miami, but definently a fun time, without having going all the way to Orlando.

Opium was decent. The Opium at the beach I believe was better. The beers were way overpriced, probably more than at miami beach, $11 dollars! Also, what's up with the stripper dancers? I understand the dancers thing, but these girls were very rauchy. All in all, I had a good time with my friends, because the music was good and they launched confetti because it was someone's birthday.

The hotel is nice but the casino is a total dog.  No tables.  Only video slots.  What a waste of space!  I was passing through on my way to the Keys and wanted to stay in a big place with entertainment before heading out to more remote locations.  I should have passed.  The hotel was expensive, which would have been fine if the casino didn't suck.  There was a motorcycle show or something happening in the shopping center that was attached when we were there.  That was the highlight of our night..walking around and looking at the bikes.

The rooms are stylish.  It seems like the toilet paper was labeled as shit tickets or something funny.  It has been too long since I was there, but I remember that there were a few clever things that the Hard Rock did to make me laugh.

I was shocked that drinks weren't complimentary for players. Well drinks should be comped for players that sit at the tables at least! The venue is pretty upscale and nice. There's a central full bar which is sectioned off, but plenty more outside of the plaza that serve until 5am! Other than that, pretty fun environment, plenty of tables, slots, the usual, friendly dealers. Also the floor staff, managers, always make sure you're taken care which is a plus.

I was rescued from this dump of a hotel called "IL Lugano" which must be Italian for "located in a cesspool" by the Hardrock...the room is expansive with a huge bathroom and extremely comfortable bed.  The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and the property offers a large variety of restaurants, bars and a food court for a quick bite of Italian, Deli, Cuban, Ice cream and Chinese food.  A great pool and pool bar made for an enjoyable week.

good things: valet parking is fast and they don't abuse the cars.  hotel staff genuinely take care of problems and want you to have a good stay.  pool staff was attentive (remembered my name over 3 day stay) and they provide towels that fit the lounges.  hot tub was hot and not full of kids.  keurig machine in the room!!

medium things: gambling is ok, fairly close to atlantic city in terms of player friendliness.  my guess is that their video poker payouts are on the low side (based on # of hands played until i hit quads in bonus-bonus, over the course of 3 separate trips), and the continuous shuffle machines at the $5-10-15 blackjack tables aren't my favorite.  their attendants know where the machines are, and are helpful.   poker room was busy, and there are daily tournaments (some fill, some don't).

bad things: it is a noisy property.  each night, we had people stumbling through the hallway, drunk and loud, and our first night we actually changed rooms at 4am (but the hotel "made it right", see "good things" above).

MMM I love the smell of stale cigarettes and bad perfume. Smells like people losing money and not caring!
Myself and 5 friends booked a room at the Hardrock hotel to celebrate a friend's birthday. You are really only suppose to have two guests, but like I care?! We got two noise complaints before 11pm for playing the music too loud, my personal response was "how un-rock and roll is that?"
Before hitting the bars we hung out in the casino for about 45 minutes, I myself played the ever interesting 5 cent slots. Whoo- Big Spender I know! I won 2 bucks but one of my friends won 44, so I guess it really is luck.
We partied into the night at one of their nightclubs Passion, which was ...well... you can read my review of that.
I checked out the pool the next morning, two hot tubs, a water slide and they play music underwater! Fun!

This review is for the casino only. We stopped in on a Wednesday night while staying in Miami Beach. It's only about a half hour away and is a nice diversion when you're tired of South Beach. It's nice to have another entertainment option other than restaurants and clubs.

The casino itself was a little grimy. It's definitely not in the same class as a Borgata or Mohegan Sun. The smell of stale cigarette smoke is everywhere. There are alot of slot machines, but most of them seem to be older machines. I was definitely disappointed at the selection. Didn't see many of the newer games, or enough variety in the types of machines. Couldn't find many decent quarter machines. Played quite a bit of video poker.

Had dessert at the 'food court'. The ice cream was excellent! Super rich and creamy. Don't remember the last time I had chocolate ice cream that good. The coffee, on the other hand, was a completely watered down mess.

I should preface this email by saying I don't like to gamble and am averse to smoke.  The only reason I was here was for a work meeting.  The pool area is great for those looking for fresh air and sun.  The casino seems modern, but it lacks the powerful filtration systems that keep the levels of smoke somewhat tolerable.  For the non gamblers there is also an outdoor shopping entertainment area with bars, shops, restaurants, and even a comedy club.  I think this place could keep most people entertained for at least a day.  They also had some live music including the Moody Blues and some guy rocking out on an electric harp, which I never knew even existed.  The rooms are very up to date and have the whimsical rock and roll feel with animal print patterns through out the room.  I don't know that I would ever choose to return here on my own, but I can think of far worse places to go.

This place reminds me of Vegas.  It's like DisneyWorld as well, for adults.  However, it is a bit of a grimey DisneyWorld.  The hotel is very nice and the rooms are modern and trendy, but VERY expensive.  Also, it kind of sucks that you have to walk through the majorly crowded and bustling casino area to get to the rooms.  The pool area is beautiful, but I have never been to it during the day- only at night, walking by.

The casino could be better- the blackjack tables are always full and a $20 minimum.  Tons of slots, but they're not my thing.  I don''t believe that there is roulette or craps.  So basically, slots, poker, and a smattering of blackjack tables.

The outside area is great with a ton of bars, restaurants and shops.  I have eaten/drank at many of them and it's always a good time.  At night it gets very crowded and the crowd can be a bit rough, but usually you are too drunk at that point to notice!  My friend had her bachelorette party here a few months ago, and it was a great setting for that.  One of my favorite bars in the outside area is the piano bar- we all had a great time there drinking their huge hurricane drinks and singing along and getting onstage with the dueling pianists.

The Hard Rock Live venue is also great (see my separate review for that).

If the crowd at the Seminole Hard Rock was more my style I would have given it a 4-star rating, but then again, what kind of crowd can you really expect at a casino and a bunch of drinking establishments?  All in all, it is worth a visit.

Stayed here this past week for three nights and attended a business conference in the hotel.  Overall okay - staff was courteous, upbeat all around.  The fact that there's smoking in the hotel and casino was a big turn-off.  Even though I smoke, I can't deal with it indoors at all.   The room I stayed in was, fortunately a non-smoking room.   The bed had a pillow-top mattress - very pillowy even.  And I'm a firm mattress person.  Between that, and the fact that I could actually smell the ironing in the sheets, made for some uncomfortable nights trying to sleep.

The hotel provided all the food for our conference breakfasts, lunches and two dinners and it was just okay.  nothing extraordinary.

The saving grace is that we got a decent discount for hour rooms because there were a couple hundred of us at the conference.  If I'd had paid full price for my room, I'd have given this place 2 stars...

Warning: CASINO review only.

It's not Vegas, but you can win B-I-G. It's the only place in S. Fla. where you can play 3 Card Poker and Black Jack. The closest alternative is hopping on one of those nightmare night cruises.

Here's the deal (pun intended):

Steps outside the gazillion slots and table games is the Poker Room. Here you'll find two floors of Texas Hold'em tables. The players here are aggressive on "no limit" tables. Dealers let you re-buy for less. They also hold random tournaments daily. The wait is not too bad most of the time. If you arrive during peak hours, you might have to wait about 20 minutes before you take a seat.

Inside the actual Casino, 3 Card, my vice of choice, requires a $15 minimum which translates into $40 if you want to play the hand. If you just want to play "pairs plus" the Casino let's you just play the $15 which is a nice perk if your stack is running low.

Unlike most casinos, Hard Rock makes you pay for your drinks. You would think they'd want to get you drunk to keep spending, but not this fine establishment. Just remember it really hurts when you lose and you're sober. The Hard Rock also has this crazy "one-hand" rule. This means when you pick up your cards to see what you've been dealt, you can only use one hand. Beware, they do enforce this rule. The dealers here are friendly and realize that paying you means getting paid.

Good luck gamblers and may lady luck be on your side of the table. Oh, and one last thing, look for Larry, he might deal you a straight flush too!

I stayed at the Hard Rock with my husbands and they have redone their rooms but not for the better. The mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. If you are looking for a good night sleep in a quality bed do not stay here. I am not picky but do expect a better experience from a chain like the Hard Rock. I even considered leaving at 2am to a different hotel. I tried to upgrade to a room with a bed that matches the quality of a 4 star hotel but was told this was the only mattresses they offered. Very disappointing. The drained in the bathroom was clogged and the water reached my ankles by the time I was done with my shower (gross). The property is clean and if you like to gamble there are many options. Beware of food court. You will be charged 11.00 for 2 slices of pizza. With all the money this casino makes they should offer more reasonably priced food.

The casino is pretty nice, but very smokey.  I had to go outside and sit by the pool while my husband played black jack because the smoke was hurting my eyes.  We've stayed at hotel before and the rooms are very nice.  The pool is very nice, but don't go here thinking that it will compare to the Hard Rock in Vegas.  They do not even compare.  People bring their families here and there are lots of small children at the pool.

I've been here several times with friends and family. I had a great time with each visit. The staff are super friendly. They make you feel welcome and are helpful with anything concerns you may have. This place has pretty good restaurants, shops and night clubs here. I went dancing there. This place gets really packed for parking. The hotel rooms are really nice but are not worth the BIG price tag. Which needs to be adjusted--especially if you live in Miami area. I prefer partying and sleeping the night, but the price tag makes me reject my decision each time I look at the bill.

Memorial Day weekend in full effect. The HardRock is always a good time. You just have to take it easy with the club going. I hate when they charge $20-$40 for a club that is not worth it. Plus the drinks inside are $12-$15...Quite honestly, i am ok hanging out at Murphy's Law listening to live band and hanging out in the casino.

Ohhhhh Hard Rock.....how I kinda wish you were still just a white castle trailer and a cigar stand. Oh well, times change and here it is. Hollywood Florida's version of Vegas. I like the Hard Rock, I do. However it tends to attract a lot of scumbags. Don't get me wrong, you can have a blast here. The people watching is top notch and the music is usually great. Just be aware of your surroundings and stay out of trouble! Those Seminole cops mean business.

I was only able to spend about 2.5 hours here and I wish I had more time to check this place out.  Before our flight home, we stopped off at the Famous Hard Rock Hotel where Anna Nicole died and gambled, shopped and explored the property.  We were fortunate enough that there was a hug Harley Davidson/Car show so there were lots of custom bikes, cars and trucks.  The poker room was separated from the main casino and there was plenty of shopping (perfect for my wife while I gambled).

I would love to come back here some day to stay and enjoy the pool and spa.  A great pit stop to make if you are flying out of Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale airport!

I'm not a gambler, so I don't know what makes a good casino.  Seems decent?  Not especially crowded when I went after Christmas day.  A little food court inside, in addition to higher end restaurants.  A little shopping area outside.  Several dance clubs & a concert venue, too.

Minus 1 star for not providing bowls of hand wipes.

Good amount of restaurants to choose from but my ultimate fave is the hardrock cafe. There decor is hip plenty to look at and the food is yum. As for the hotel what can I say its the hardrock. If your ever in town don't bother going anywhere else but here you wont be disappointed.

While visiting Miami, some friends invited me out to the Hard Rock Casino on a Friday night. I went around 8:30 and stayed to a little after midnight. The setup is great. There are a lot of bars and clubs all making a little drinking village. Obviously when I got there it was fairly empty, but started to get packed by eleven.

The casino itself was a little small and did not have roulette or craps, but did have war?  Still it wasn't too bad.

We spent most of our time at Murphy's law, perfect spot for people watching. All in all a great place. It's not Vegas, but if you are in Miami, it is absolutely worth a trip.

This was a terrible experience.  The hotel registration staff were rude for absolutely no reason.  They didn't have enough nonsmoking rooms even though we had reserved a block of them. Those that did have non smoking rooms reported that the rooms were rank with stale smoke.  Casino was smelly and staff were rude. The pool closed early so we couldn't hang out in the fresh(er) air.  Rooms were ok, albeit utilitarian and designed to encourage guests to not stay in the room. There was no business center or place to check into flights or print boarding passes. Banquet service was average and food was likewise average.  Shopping selection was 3rd rate and about what one would find in a really bad mall with worse selections that don't even appeal to tourists. Restaurants were over priced with little plate appeal.  Drinks seemed watered down. Not a place that our group of 30 would ever return to.

The hard rock is the place to be if you want to have fun. There's everything from high end restaurants to pubs, the improv comedy theater, clothing stores and nightclubs. There's no way that you could ever have a dull moment here. I come often to play in the casino..I just wish that they would ban smoking inside...YUCK.......I feel bad for the employees working inside getting second hand smoke!!
Another great thing is that the parking lot is free and very spacious!

This place is 100000000% than Miccosukee. No offense to those Miccosukee Casino lovers, but hardrock beats them 99999 to 1 literally. The Hardrock theme is to attract more of the young crowd than the old one's. I love how they have different bars, and clubs spread out within there strip toward the casino. The comedy club improv I went too was pretty decent and the comedian was funny, I don't know who he was but he was a decent guy. The area is well maintained and very modernized, going inside the casino is a HUGE HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE and by far NO comparison to the Miccosukee casino. They have 10xs more than that of there competitor that I have mentioned, on the plus side the hardrock doesn't REEK of PURE PURE cigarettes unlike Miccosukee. I mean don't get me wrong you can still smell the cigarettes but it's not as bad as Miccosukee, no lie I get headaches and I feel like I get heart palpitations everytime I go there. Also they got a $5 blackjack table which is another plus.

I definitely recommend  this place to those who want to try there luck somewhere else. It is a bit of drive if you live in around south miami area. Other than that kuddos.

Not Vegas by any stretch of the imagination, but an insanely interesting place to spend an evening.
Most importantly to me, no matter what sporting event you want to watch on tv, you can find it broadcast here.  That is what draws me in on a semi regular basis.
The casino seems nice, I never move beyond the slot machines because I am just not that happy with losing my money quickly.  My friends like the table, and my uncle comes here for the high stakes poker which he enjoys, and compares favorable to Vegas.
Outside of the casino is a huge shopping area with restaurant and bars of all diffrent quality, I will have to discuss those on a more individual basis in more reviews.  Suffice to say there are plenty of stores to keep the non gambles occupied, the food in the restaurants in normally well above average and as of rit now I can't think of one I would tell you to avoid.  The bars all have indoor and outdoor seating so the people watching ( a theme of many of my reviews) is awesome!  I can not say enough about the enjoyment to be had in this area.
People bring kids here all the time, and I am going to recommend against this.  In the end it is an adult play ground with drinking, gambling and well not much of a family atmospher.  Please keep them at home.
If you are living in the area stop by, we all know it is fun from time to time.  If you are here on vacation, it is an interesting and fun place to spend an evening and no more expensive that a night out on south beach.

I read some of the other reviews, and I think some weren't fair. They seem to dislike the things that are part of any casino.

I'm not rating casinos, I'm rating THIS casino/hotel/shopping center that is Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The all in one factor is basically why I am a fan.

They have:
The Casino. (With Blackjack for right now)
Magnificent pool area.
A theater/concert venue- which is awesome because of its small size.
Night Clubs. (Expect to have to work the rope if you get there to late.)
Great restaurants- My favorite is TATU (Asian)
Shopping- Tons of neat stores.
The hotel- rooms are nice, bathrooms are really nice.

It is a sprawling complex that is buzzing 24-7.
They also do special event stuff all the time, like a weekend exhibit of art and rock & roll I checked out one time.

Definitely worth visiting, whether you rent a room or not.
Bring lots of money.

Beautiful place!! I love going to the Hard Rock. They have so many stores and as soon as you enter the casino, your mouth will drop! Everyone is very helpful and willing to help. The place is always clean and it doesn't smell too much like ciggarets. I've smelled worst.
They have Tequila Ranch, which is a resturant that has a fun bull ride. There's also Hooters, Wet Willie's, the improve (comedy club), many diffrent clubs to choose from, and many many more resturants.
The only thing I would suggest if going, is to go early, the parking is crazy! But, incase you park far, don't worry! They have some guys riding bicycles that can give you a ride for a small amount.
Good place to go for fun or just to bring anyone around and show them a fun, hip spot!
I've never stayed in the hotel but I heard it's awesome! Maybe when I win a few hands, I'll stay in! lol
Rock ON!!!

This place is a riot.  Great spot to go people watching.  It's tough to get in on a Fri or Saturday because people from all over come and there's a huge line of cars lined up to come in.

I don't know if I'd ever actually make plans on going there as a destination.  We just ended up there once because we got on the wrong freeway leaving a Marlins game.  So it was kind of a pleasant surprise for us to check it out since we were in the area.

It's kinda neat that they have a bunch of different clubs right in this outdoor adult disney-ish main street.  I'm pretty sure I saw a mechanical bull in one of them.

If you want to gamble, I suggest getting there early because all the tables were filled when I went.  You'd think it was the only game in town!

Think about every vice you may have and then head over the the Hard Rock to have your wishes fulfilled.

Gambling, shopping, dancing, drunken debauchery. It's all here and I loved every minute of it. I'm not big on gambling but I went with a group to the casino and we had a blast trying the different slot machines and watching a friend lose her money at black jack. We all joined the "player's club" which is free to sign up for. The gist - you get a card that earns you points whenever you play the slots and then you use those points for free meals, drinks, and hotel stays. As the saying goes - if it's free, it's for me!

There are so many things to do here I get excited just thinking about it. And so many places to drink. Throw back irish car bombs at Murphy's Law, sip frozen drinks at Wet Willies's, or just grab a pitcher of beer at Hooters.

As for the shopping, I was expecting there to be a lot of pricey, boutique stores but Au contraire, mon frère. My heels were killing me after some moving and grooving at Gryphon so I popped in to one of the little shoe shops and got the cutest pair of shoes for $12.

This place is sensory overload at it's best and the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the parking is crazy. They did have a bunch of guys with rickshaw type deals that will cart your lazy ass to the front but keep your $4 and just walk there. You'll need that $4 when you lose the rest of your money gambling.

I don't even like gambling and had fun at this casino. I only stuck to the machines and didn't play on any tables but they had just about every type of slot machine imaginable.

The parking garage is huge, but I found it to be easily manageable. They have all types of shops and bars / clubs / restaurants around the casino and it appears to be a local destination as I saw a lot of people dressed up for a night on the town.

I am not a gambler so it will probably be a long time before I return, but if it is your thing, this is a great, fun place to go.

Awesome dance clubs and multiple to choose from! Drinks are pricey but that's to be expected. I love that the music, fog and dancing from the clubs flowed out into the "night club street" between them, so even if you're in a line to get in one, you feel like you are already in a dance club :)

We didn't stay here, just came to party ;p

Plan on long traffic lines from the main street between 11-12pm on Friday and Saturdays. Also plan for cover charges.

$20 club cover
$10 garage valet parking
Around $10 for a Red Bull and vodka

This review is strictly for the casino - Where do all these human specimens come from ? It's pretty scary - I'm not really into any kind of gambling so we never play and we've been here to see some of the live music on Friday nights and its ok.
There are two major issues; they allow smoking so it smells like a dump and the machines are all electronic so it is really quite, thus taking away from the whole noisy slots machine experience.
If you gamble, don't wait and make your way out to this place to lose your hard earn money and gain a good case of lung cancer through secondary smoke-

Very nice Casino.  I am here on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and I do gamble a bit.  I was told that this was the best place to go to.

They have lots of slots and tables and a food court to keep you fed.  Although it does close early.  So if you are there late at night or early morning hours, you need to go outside the casino where they have small vending carts with snacks and other restaurants.

Smoking is permitted so there is some freedom.

I love the signed guitars hanging on walls from well known musicians, I took a lot of pictures.

My only beef is that late at night their club scene is a bit rowdy and there are way too many young people on the prowl.

Super duper fancy place!  I've been here for bachelorette and birthday parties.  They all come out to be a success since we can't even make it to our car without stumbling ;)  Be sure to check out the pool if you are here.  It's very pretty and huge.  There's a couple things I don't like about it though.  The fact that this hotel charges a ridiculous amount of money to stay in a room overnight.  It's better off going with a group and splitting it if you don't mind sharing a bed with the people you go with.  Also, the gambling here kinda sucks since Vegas is so MUCH better.  The slot machines and tables can be a rip off here.  The overall atmosphere is fun though.   It has all kinds of things to do.  If you want to shop, lay out by the pool, sleep, drink, sing, gamble, laugh, eat, or just have a good time, then check it out.

This spot rocks! A casino, restaurants, AND an auditorium for live entertainment. Plus, optional valet parking so we didn't have to go hunting for a parking space.

We saw the Cirque du Soleil performance here, and it was amazing! We ordered the mid-price tickets and still had a clear view of the entire stage and could hear the music loud and clear. The ushers were really helpful and shooed away some seat thieves who set up camp in our section. Hooray!

As for the casino, we played in the smoke free room. I tried my hand on the slot machines for the first time in my life. I put in $2 and got $21 out. Not bad for my first time. Hehehe.

This review is for the hotel only. Got to stay here by taking advantage of the club member offer of one free night stay promo in August based upon my gambling record at the casino.  I really liked staying here.  It is as if they surveyed hotel guests for the top 10 things they want and then put it all together in the room design.  It is relatively large with room to walk around.  There is a desk and table. There are separate toilet/shower/bath.  Double sink. Great amenities. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Stuff I've even forgotten about , like a free loufa for using in the shower.  Of course I took it home with me. And needless to say it is near the casino and shopping and restaurants. So you could make a nice resort stay here.

I've been here a couple of times for concerts, dinners, or just to go to the adjacent strip full of bars and clubs. In my opinion, the overall atmosphere here is a little pretentious for what it is but I still had fun each time.

You'll find literally everything here: people having bachelorette parties at the clubs and staying at the hotel, 21st birthday celebrations, family dinners and concerts, shopping, people just hanging out at the bars, etc.

The clubs aren't bad but they aren't amazing, either. What they clearly are, however, is insane to think that they can charge $20 as a cover and $10+ for drinks. In all, I rather go to Miami and spend a bit more than go to Hard Rock in Hollywood.

They have a couple of nice-looking restaurants but they're all just chains. There's also a Ben & Jerry's in the strip along with some smaller pizzerias and fast food places like Johnny Rockets.

Like I said before, I rather go to Miami if I'm looking to spend a lot of money on drinks and covers at clubs. Hard Rock Live, however, is a nice venue for medium-sized concerts and there are plenty of places to grab some food before or after the show.

Dearest Hard Rock,

Always a good time here.  Always.  I just wish you could find a way to eradicate the cigarette smell from the lobby, however, otherwise, I love escaping up here.

My love and I checked in to celebrate 2 1/2 years, and had 24 hours of non-stop fun and excitement!  We arrived a bit early, which I worried that perhaps we might not be able to check in, but our arrival went as smooth as I could have planned it.

We went straight upstairs to get ready for lunch at the pool and the only negative I can point out is how long it took for our bags to make it up to the room.  We had to wait for about 25 minutes before we could change and get downstairs.  I was a bit antsy to get to the pool, but I took advantage of the forced break and rested for a few minutes.

The room was beautiful, even for a standard room.  We had a luxurious king sized bed, and it was furnished with couch, table and chairs, and nice flat screen tv.  The bathroom was small and nothing to write home about, but the shower head was great and had a good amount of pressure.

We planned ahead and had brought some of our own liquor, so it was nice to mix our own drinks and then head down to the casino for a little fun and games!  It definitely helped keep our bar bill down, although we still did a lot of ordering while out and about.  On the upside, we broke even at the Blackjack tables, a good 45 minutes after we started playing!  That's a win all on its own!

The service and staff were great and anytime we needed anything, it was extended to us at the best of your ability.  I was also grateful for the extended checkout, as we had a loooong night.  :)

I just have to say, that the prices are still unbelievable and not in a good way.  I can't even begin to admit what we paid for this room, but hey, it's the Hard Rock.  Do you think you'll ever have some specials for locals?  Please??

I am sure we will be back soon.  We enjoy this escape so far, yet so close to home.  See you soon!

Thanks for the fun times,

I have yet to find or hear about another casino that feels almost-Vegas.  They do nickel and dime you while there, but it's not too bad.  The sandwich that the guy was eating while beside me at the card table looked like a specialty sandwich you might get at Panera or something.

Careful at the poker room.  Big players crowd the lower dollar tables and bet large to scare everyone into folding.  They literally wait for a new table so new players aren't keen to it.  Better to go to a slightly higher table where others can absorb those players with you and call them out for you if your chips are down.  They seem to prey on the $1-2 no limit tables, where they raise $25 and more as it goes around and then again on each next card.

For eye appeal I would give the Hotel lobby surrounding the gambling area a five. But over all, it deserves at least a four.
A friend gets a comp room every week and I took the offer to stay the weekend. My only complaint was the view. It overlooked the roof.  Two Bottles of water sit on a table in the room. They lay there daring you to drink them. Resist that temptation least you pay the $7 for each. A coke from the fridge would set you back $3.25. And don't pick an item up from the fridge to look at it.  It's computerized.  You're room is automatically billed should you become inquisitive.  It's a nice touch to have a phone in the bathroom with a tub that can be set to the exact tempature desired.

a malt Glen Garry for me and my friend here. And if you tell that bartender to go extra easy on the water, this 50 cent piece has your name on it.

Disclaimer: I've never stayed at the hotel. I've only been to the Casino and the attached plaza.

This is no Vegas. Not that being Vegas is good or bad, but don't expect the same experience. The experience is tailored to adults, but it is VERY common to see children around. I **completely** disagree with bringing children into this environment. There is a large amount of bars and smoking present everywhere. Bad parenting? I think so.

The casino has changed a few times over the years, and as all casinos in the world, they need to keep a fresh look. There used to be a large poker farm of tables, now the tables are much smaller and incorporate blackjack and other variety of card games. Table minimums seemed to be $5 a hand. The high stakes tables started at $100 a hand. If you want baccarat, only available in the high stakes tables. They do have a nonsmoking casino area. Although smoking is permitted in the main area of the casino, I really didn't notice it too much.

I'm never a fan of clubs with covers; but years ago I did try them. Meh. Not my thing.

Only reason for the three stars is I've never won anything from the few times I've played. Oh well. No big losses either.

Bottom Line: Best gambling source in South Florida I know of

This was just great. I've been to the hotel before but had never stayed. We went with another couple and decided to fully indulge and stay a night last week. We didn't have any reservations but just showed up thinking that there would be some space on a Sunday night. We got there and the hotel was full (in the good sense). We went to check in and were offered an upgrade of both of the rooms to penthouse suites. We took it and it was so worth it. Both rooms included huge bathrooms and luxurious beds. The music system could have been better, considering its a HardRock hotel, but we didn't spend much time in the rooms anyways. Went to the casino and the restaurants. Since it was Sunday the clubs were closed.

Its a great place to come with friends. There is something for everyone and the service is great. (even got a late late check out at  3pm!)

If you like music, you need to go here... The rooms are setup with 3 different radios and portray the rocker life style... loud furniture; unique art, mood lighting, textured walls, and large tubs to have multiple guests get clean with you...  If your lucky to get a balcony, you'll actually get to walk outside and enjoy the view.  I got a room that overlooked the pool and it was fantastic. The beds are plush and comfortable.  Aside from being a large room, unlike other hotels, the Hard Rock offers plenty of storage space for your luggage.

They have free entertainment for children and adults alike at the pool... There's a bar which you can enjoy while listing to music again right under the pool... or if you want to sit on the lounge chairs you can lay back and relax.

The pool is amazing.  It's heated, has 3 waterfalls, a slide and 3 jacuzzis.  2 of the Jacuzzis you can enjoy next to the pool, or if your adventurous and aren't annoyed by kids, you can try the last Jacuzzi nestled on top or the waterfall and bar... The pool offers tons of lounge chairs, privet cabanas, and privet daybeds... The only negative about the pool is it closes at 8pm.

FYI, this is not a non-smoking casino/hotel... I ventured to the non-smoking area, which is right next to the high roller tables, and was disappointed because there were only slot machines in the non-smoking area.

Natilee kept my room beautiful. The hotel and restaurants were very clean. The pool area, not so much. Lounge chairs are speckled with mold, a simple fix if the pool manager would instill a cleaning routine with a power washer and some bleach. The pool area has beds with a rental charge; you pay $100 to lie under canopies covered with mold, disgusting.
We had great service poolside last Thursday. We sat at the back end of the pool by the cabanas and the waiter was friendly and sweet, he really made our day more enjoyable and successfully up sold us on a pitcher.  Friday and Saturday we sat closer to the hotel doors and watched the pool wait servers walk past garbage and empty glasses that sat on tables and around lounge chairs all day long. They not only lacked attentiveness to details in keeping the area clean, but practically ignored us too.
I'm also giving a low rating for the smoky smell of the casino. Every time we sat at a machine it smelled like we were sitting in an ashtray.
The service was also poor when we attempted to make service calls. Each time we tried to call valet or the front desk it would ring until we would finally hang up and head down to the desk to resolve our issues in person. Once there we would wait on the general line and watch everyone on the VIP line be called up to the desk and helped.  Frustrating!
This was the second time I stayed here; the first time was when it first opened. I was excited to return, but I will not return again.

I visited last night - Valentine's Day. Parking was easy and so wad getting around even with all the crowds. Immediately I felt like it would be a good time because all the nice shops and restaurants put you in a good mood. The reason why this isn't 5 star - no craps or roulette tables. I ended up playing Let it Ride for a few hours. The dealers aren't as quick as AC it Vegas and sometimes the payouts were wrong. I might visit again, but not a guarantee.

Forget all the other so called casinos like mardi gras or isles, Seminole Hard Rock is where it's at.

They have live Blackjack among many table games, lots and lots of slots, a 24 hour restaurant, upscale restaurants, clubs... There is so much to do here. Let the kids take a dip in the pool and take some time in the spa. I come here almost every other weekend play some Blackjack and drink at Center Bar and I always have a great time. I'm sorry but if you come here and don't enjoy yourself there's something either wrong with you or the company you're with. If the Seminole Hard Rock were to get Craps, Roulette and expanded the casino floor I'm sure more people would come down here then Vegas.

Only downside the food court (other than the pizza place) needs much, much improvement. (taste wise)

The rooms are spacious, thick walls, comfortable beds, great bathrooms but lets be real we all care more about the casino. The rooms are nothing to complain about nor is the service throughout the casino. Stop on in very soon I know I will be...hopefully tonight :).

I'm so sick of this place I swear.

I have stayed at the hotel a few times and I would stay again: clean bed, plenty of pillow and blankets, beautiful room, free toiletries, and the room service is nice but very pricey.

If you like to bar hop then the paradise area is your cup of tea, there is a nice variety of choices for you to choose. Personally, my favorite place here would be Murphy's Law; good music, good atmosphere and it isn't unbearably crowded. Opium is an Asian inspired club that plays a variety of music in the main room, and they play hip hop in the side room. Gryphon/ Pangea are connected to each other from the inside. Pangea is a lounge type atmosphere, and Gryphon is the larger of the two where they play house music. Both of these clubs are pretty good, but It can get expensive if you are a man. Passions plays a variety of music; mostly of shit, and is full of wanksters. Bongos sky lounge is very nice, but it is extremely expensive. If the Florida weather permits, I would suggest getting a table at the top of the sky lounge and enjoying your night. The caliber of people that usually frequent these establishments are your usual club rat scum, just dressed in better clothes.

The casino is a casino. It has slot machines and card tables. I am not big on gambling so all I can say is that it looks nice, but it is really smoky but that is expected. I usually frequent the center bar and watch people gamble, because I am creepy.

Bring a flask with you to this place, buy a diet coke from anywhere, go to the bathroom, and insert your liquor of choice. I call it "bathroom bartender." Your wallet will be grateful...

This review is not based on the rooms, casino game floor only. This place needs to remodel! From the parking lot elevators to the old blackjack tables. They only have one video black Jack in the whole casino???

If your playing at a table good luck trying to find a waitress for a cocktail.

The restaurant in the casino are nothing special at all. It's all frozen or fast food joints except for the sandwich spot.

As for the pit bosses they are not welcoming or friendly.  The dealers are antisocial, this place would be ranked last if location was in Vegas or Detroit.

On a positive thought due to the negatives of this casino I will not be coming back to spend my money!! So thank you, Hard Rock Seminole Casino.

Parking is a little hectic. But its a great experience. Every time I go there I always have a good time. The drinks are around $11 each, which is not that bad I guess. There is always people around to socialize with.

The slots are a setup! I'm against playing something that does not require skill. I have no idea how to use those machines, maybe its just my luck. I enjoy playing poker at the poker room, now that is fun!

It's not just a hotel & casino, it's a massive outdoor entertainment complex with restaurants, a comedy club, piano bar, dance clubs, clothing stores, coffee bars, and much more.  This place is absolutely crawling with nightlife opportunities.  Since opening in 2004, it is finally something big enough to draw a the Miami crowd into Broward.

This land next to the Florida Turnpike had been a Seminole Indian Village for years, featuring alligator wrestling, reptile shows, and crafts.  There's actually a scene in the 2002 movie "Adaptation" where Meryl Streep and Chris Cooper drive right by this old Indian village.  You can imagine the major transformation that went on from 02'-04' to change this area into a big gambling destination.  It's an incredibly different place from just 7 years ago.

I'm not much of a gambler, but video roulette is just $.25.  Yep, there's a period in front of that dollar sign.  That's the table minimum, so you can play that thing for hours.  I take a limited amount of money with me, like $5-$10, and always walk out with more than I came with.  Just don't get too tempted to increase your bet, or go play another game, and be happy with a modest winning of $10-$20 and you will be ahead of the game!  No real roulette tables though, that's what they're missing.

Yes, this is where Anna Nicole Smith died, back in 2007.  Ironically, she was a spokesperson for TrimSpa, and even did commercials for a TrimSpa giveaway, where the winner received a vacation here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel this past week for the Blue Glass conference. I have to say, it was like Heaven! I went ahead and paid the additional money for the junior suite and we had the best room! it was huge and the TV (flat screen HD) was huge and the bed was the softest hotel bed I have ever had.

So here were the best parts:

- I had the room at 60 and was never hot (I love this!)
- The shower had three shower heads and it was like the best shower ever. If I could have bought it and brought it home I would have. I absolutely love choosing the temp of the water.
- The balcony overlooking the pool was fantastic
- Drinks were cheap for FL. Beer and cocktails
- There were many restaurants to choose from and the food court in the casino.
- There was not noise from other rooms! It was sooo quiet
- The Hard Rock made the food for our conference lunch and dinners and it was great food
- I stayed in a junior suite that was huge and amazing and a pleasure to sleep in for about $600 for three nights.
- I liked the security making sure that no one could go upstairs unless they were actually a guest (I like security)
- Room and bathroom were super clean and smelled nice

The only thing I am bummed about it is the bathrobe. I LOVED it and  there was a sign on it that said if we took it from the room we would be charged $75, but the robes were sold downstairs at $45. So when we checked out I went to buy one and they were not made of the same material. I was so bummed, I would have taken the other robe if I had known.

I have no complaints at all. I had a great time and I would stay there again and again. It felt like home even though I was away. I was in room 757.

We have been going down to the Hard Rock for years.  Mostly go for concerts ~ used to stay the night too but the prices have gone crazy on concert nights.  Have eaten at most of the places... Inside the Hard Rock is consistently good and the prices are average - what you would expect from the chain... outside is completely different - the prices are crazy expensive.  The drinks are crazy expensive & inside the concert venue is no different - expensive to eat or drink ~ I guess that's ok now since we don't stay we limit the drinking!  So in an odd way ... we are saving BIG $$ !!  The concert venue is great there - not too huge and honestly - every seat there is decent - no obstructions and the crowd is great.   Makes for a much better experience then the big arenas.   If you are going for the whole experience - this place does have it all - swimming, shopping, eating, drinking, music, casino (LOTS OF SMOKE - I feel like I am exposed to lung cancer just walking thru!) and crashing... then this is the place.  Will go back again - of course!  Plans for July already... but will avoid the stuff they would rather we do because of $$.    and now you know !

This review is strictly for the Casino, did not stay at the hotel however I will consider it in the future. I frequent Vegas often so I will not try to compare this casino to that but it is very nice for an East coast casino. There is a huge area where you can choose from various restaurants to dine at INSIDE the casino, not to mention the huge pavilion outside the hotel that has multiple shops and places to eat at.

Coming from the parking garage, they have various memorabilia hanging around from some of your favorite artists past and present. A nice touch, many folks taking pics by Snoop Dogg's football jersey and the Beatle's pics.

There are lots of slots for various pocket sizes and a high roller area if thats your thing, watched the rest of the playoff games while winning some change at one of the slot machines. Had a great time, heard there are clubs here too, didn't get to experience that but will return very soon. A must go!

I stayed at the hotel with my two best friends. We liked our room. The bed was comfy. We didn't like the fact that there was a gap in the wall in the bathroom area. FYI, just a friendly advise about the room: A fridge to store things should come standard. If I was traveling with my cousin, we would of not stayed at this hotel because he needs a fridge to store his medicine (diabetes) therefore, you guys would of lost business/money.
The casino was fun. The guest were friendly. The cigarette smell wasn't pleasant though but I guess it comes with the casino territory.
I personally was disappointed that there was no clubs open. We came on a Wednesday and I know the clubs are open on the weekends but it would be nice to have atleast one club open for those guests that love to dance.
The staff were friendly. They checked us in and out of our hotel room fast and with a smile. We might be going back before the year is over. Next time we go, I'm going to see if we go on a weekend and compare the experience.

Dear Casino,

I won the night before on a particular slot machine so I decided to come back the next night to use the same machine and it was gone - what happened? Now, ... granted I was drinking the night before and stumbling around but I do remember where that machine was, I'm pretty sure ;)  So...I'm not done. 130am and no where to eat inside of the casino or even outside - not even the pizza place inside of the casino was open, come on...all of those folks drinking and spending their money - and no food options - not good. Oh by the way everyone was at the Johnny Rockets right outside the casino but to my dismay the wait was too long and the service was crappy - folks were telling us not to go in as they were walking out. So back to casino - the smoke inside was killer and it was tough to find the cocktail servers when you needed them - I found myself walking back and fourth to the center bar. Lastly, the bathrooms were not clean and typically at the casinos I have been to...they are pretty stellar not the case here.

I gave it two stars because of the exterior of the casino - the entire complex of bars/clubs and shops was pretty cool to experience and I look forward to experiencing more of the exterior of the casino next time I visit.

I don't gamble, but have been here for various events or shows.  A friend was singing at the bar the first time I came so we went to see her.

The Bar:
Pro's great decor, drinks well priced.
Con's smoking.  EW.  My bronchial passageways love to shut closed in this situation and I couldn't breathe.

The areas for special events:
Pro's spacious.
Con's service was just OK.

All in all though this place is pretty rockin'.  The 'downtown' area with bars and shops is pretty cool to hang around.

I generally like this place. Great to bring a group (especially tourists) as there is something for everyone. An ok variety of both chain and local restaurants, same for the shops. Plus ample, free parking, and a one-stop-shop for a night out not having to worry about driving from place to place. Been there a million times but what prompted me to write this review was my July 4th experience. Fireworks have been done over the lake in years past so my group of 4 and groups of others did what we thought was the "smart" thing (which we learned 2 years ago) and took our viewing post on the 8th floor of the parking garage... Not the lucky street garage but the one closer to the entrance at Stirling Road. Much to our dismay when 9:00 rolled around we heard the bomb noises coming from up above... Looked around at everyone else's expressions of horror and surprise when we all realized that the fireworks were being done from the top floor of the garage this year. Mayhem ensued. I swear I thought we were in a war zone. People fleeing to the closest elevators. Others getting into their cars having no idea where they were going. We decided to get out of the garage and head down to one of the outlying parking lots, throw on the hazards and watch from there. It sucked. Many others had the same idea so there we all stood in camaraderie and with our shared disappointment... Would it have been so hard for the hotel to direct people to where the fireworks would be? They had a million workers milling about and blocking off access to the top floor of the garage. Next year we will try the lucky street garage. It's really nice being up that high because from that vantage point you can see all the neighborhood and municipality fireworks all up and down. Quite a sight to be seen. If only we had seen the actual fireworks we went there to see...

A fun place to visit if you're in the area. A nice casino with slot machines ranging from $0.01 to $1/hand. There are various card tables like Texas hold'em or three card poker.

Outside of the casino/hotel there's shopping to be done a few food places and night clubs. So it's almost an all-in-one destination. Have dinner, play some cards, shop a little, then when it's right get your groove on and when that's all over just walk right up to your room.

Just completed a three nt stay at this property.   I give it a solid 3.5 stars.  The facility is nice and well-kept.  The staff at the front desk and concierge do not seem to be at the top of their game however.  They couldn't answer questions about specifics of our business meeting (when and where) and neither offered to find out more on their own.  This wasn't a big deal - but both individual's lack of initiative was odd given the size of our meeting (500 attendees).  The food was very good and we particularly enjoyed a meal at their seafood restaurant on the plaza - the Blue Point.

As for our room, it was odd shaped - and lacked a bath tub.  However, the shower had a state of the art head with excellent water pressure. Our maid service was barely ok.  Trash and debris was left behind after a cleaning.  A bumped up gratuity did not seem to help matters much.

HRR-FLL - if you're reading this, step up the training of your staff - from the front desk to the maid service.

It's no Vegas, but it's enough to satiate any gambler's thirst (if you like Blackjack, Poker and slots). I usually head to the Hard Rock Live for concerts in an awesome intimate setting then end up at the fun outside bars or at the blackjack table.

I was here last night after a company function. We headed to the Blackjack tables around 7:30 and there were still quite a few $5 minimum tables. Around 8 PM, the table minimum shot up to $10 a table. There were a few people complaining about this, but I think it's pretty fair (I mean it IS a Friday night). They only raise the table minimums like this on Friday and Saturday nights, otherwise, usually you can stay on $5 tables all night. They were serving free beer and well drinks last night, which was pretty nice because I think they usually charge for drinks. The drink ladies came quickly and often, which was a plus! The dealers are not that knowledgable with the games and most say "they don't play Blackjack." My philosophy is "never trust a dealer that doesn't gamble."

Also, if you know how to gamble it can be a little frustrating playing Blackjack with someone who is an amateur. One wrong move can ruin it for the whole table. This happens quite often at this casino, whereas in Vegas you rarely see it happen. I understand people are just trying to have a good time, but be careful how much you're betting here on the Blackjack tables and watch who you're gambling with on the table because there are a lot of drunk first-timers on the table that mess it up.

After losing some money to a ruthless dealer at the tables, we headed to the steakhouse in the casino, Council Oak, where you're always a winner of a great meal (will review in a separate review).

We found a cozy little blackjack spot after dinner and won our money back, and then some. A great live band was playing next to us and the energy was high with a great mix of people. We decided to leave while we're up and call it a night.

Overall Consensus:

Pros: Blackjack, Poker, great restaurants (especially Council Oak), live music in the casino, fun outside bar scene, Hard Rock Live concert venue, easy valet parking

Cons: Shoddy dealers (for the most part), poor ventilation (ugh! the cigarette smoke), no Roulette or Craps, drunk amateur gamblers, confusing parking garages, the drive to and from Miami which is about a 35 minute drive (I wish it was closer)

Nothing pairs better with a Tuesday night than the degenerate sound of chinging slots and woeful bellows from the aisles of Blackjack. If you can get past the dry heave stench of hopeful ashtrays and collapsing lungs, you're bound to find this casino (or any other for that matter) a trip worth taking.

There are far less tables here than what my Reno blood is used to, and the few that offer the goods do so with relatively high minimums - there were only about 3 $10 tables and the majority swung towards the $25 seats. Also to note, no free drinks. It's not a bone worth picking though, HRC is one of the proud few casinos within a 30 minute drive from Miami that offers tables games; you'll only find slots at the nearby Miccosukee.

If you're traveling from afar, don't go for the food or the nightlife (you'll find way way way better edibles and entertainment in Miami proper) and it's a steep price to pay for the less-than-stellar dining and retail located within the complex.

If you're willing to take a bit of a nose-dive (in terms of glamour), another nearby casino (Seminole Casino Hollywood) promotes $5 tables and a phone call later confirmed this claim. I just can't promise that the crowd at this low-rent option won't resemble the scene at a demolition derby.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Seminole Hard Rock.  It's the only place in town with live blackjack tables, so I have to put up with the ridiculousness.  It's always crowded, and parking can be a bit of a nightmare (seriously, what's with the crazy-steep ramp in the new parking garage?).  And I inevitably leave smelling like an ashtray.  But for blackjack, I suffer.

I'm used to the casinos in Missouri.  Tables aplenty, $5 minimum bets, no waiting for hours on end for a spot to open up.  The Hard Rock turns that on its head.  Now they guarantee $10 minimum tables 24/7, but there's still only about 4 tables that go that low.  And to try to hang with the $15 or $25 minimum bet tables is takes a gambler with deeper pockets than me.

Whether you're a new or seasoned gambler, if you don't have a Player's Club "Wild Card," you're probably missing out on some free gambling money.  But you're not missing out on comps, that's for sure.

The Hard Rock staff won't tell you anything about what comps may be available to you (based on how much you're playing with, how long you've been playing, and a whole bunch of other stats that are way over my head), but they tell you to "just ask" cause you never know.  Well I did ask.  And got jack shit.  And I'd just lost quite a pretty penny to the house at that.  You'd think they would've thrown a slice of pizza and a soda my way.  But nope, nada.  And my friend who was playing with about twice as much money as I was got comped $20 at the Blue Plate, which the pit boss likened to a "Denny's, no IHOP" (his exact words).  Way to sell it buddy.

After my Christmas experience at the Hard Rock (my new Christmas "tradition"), I wish I could say that I will never return.  But for blackjack, I suffer.

This place is pretty cool if your card hand is itching and you are in southern Florida.  For me I like the Roulette wheel (insert Captain Morgan pose) and for all of you that do not like to gamble away your hard earned dollars there are plenty of over priced restaurants and clubs that will gladly take what you won't gamble.  The one odd thing about this place is the parking garage.  If you are not a Platinum member and are of the mere mortal folk as myself you must drive up 78 floors to the mere mortal parking area.  On the positive side there is quite a bit of seating outside to enjoy your drink or dinner under the nights sky.

The hotel is beautiful and I love the pool area but this review is for the casino only. Been here many times for events, dancing, or just to hang out and gamble a bit. We had gone for dinner at a local restaurant outside the casino and we came here afterwards, our daughter wanted to try her hand at a little gambling.

This place is so smelly from all the smoking, it has the worst smell ever. The die hard gamblers are everywhere. I mean they have penny slot machines, I swear some people come sit down at the penny slots for days and never even leave and shower.

We stopped at a few quarter slot machines but they were tight. Nothing to be won on this night. A few times we have hung out at a few bars inside where they have live music at times, and it is fun.

Between the smell, the tight machines, and the people that roam this place, nah not for me. About two years ago we went with a group of friends to a few of the local dance clubs, and after a night full of drinking and dancing, we walked through the casino and some obnoxious dude who must have been drunk said some shit to me. Well, of course I went after him. Long story short, we almost got kicked out but luckily hubby calmed the situation down quickly and he the douchebag got kicked out and we left.

I am going to Vegas in a few weeks and can not wait. This place is blah in my book, bad memories here.

Fun place to go especially on a nice night out.  They have a large selection of clubs and bars to go to which is located outside of the casino.  Good outdoor entertainment.  Gets busy around 1100pm.  I love that they have Casino war, something you can't find in AC.

Inside casino isn't all that, seems a bit outdated and the dealers aren't that friendly except for the one that I had.

To Do -
Walk around with the kids during the day, enjoying the sights.
Rent a room - they are GORGEOUS.
Enjoy the pool with kids.
Walk around at night with a date, enjoying the sights.
Head into Murphys Law on a Thursday or Friday night to enjoy the Funkettes - and AWESOME band!
NOT to do -
Eat. Anywhere. The places are OVERPRICED and crap.
Bring kids at night. Just don't.
Expect to go to a club with a "special guest" (ex - when Pauly D was at Passions). There are WAAAAY too many people and it is uncomfortable, hot, and you really won't enjoy yourself.
Ask where Nicole Smith died. Unless you are doing it for $hitz n giggles. The hard rock does NOT want to be one of those "look for ghosts" kind of venues.

As a place to hang out and really have a good time, the Hard Rock is awesome. Even though there is an ample amount of parking spaces, the parking garage needs to spend a week with a functioning toilet, observe its behavior, and learn to effectively flush the people out when there's an event going on.
Waiting an hour just to get out of the parking garage brought me to the realization why they named this place the Hard Rock. You're basically between a Rock and a Hard place. You only have the choice of continuing the wait, or driving the car through one of the garage openings, in hopes of a successful re-enactment of E.T. in the bicycle-across-the moon-scene.

Fun. I played the slot machines with $10 and left $20 bucks richer. The complex here is huge, lots of restaurants, stores, bars etc... I was really just expecting a casino so this place is better then other casinos in the area for that reason.

HOWEVER and this is a big however, the parking garage sucks. They really need to figure something out about this. It took us an hour to leave. Yes, a whole hour of sitting in traffic in the parking garage because there was a traffic light at the exit. It really soured the night and I'd have to think hard about returning.

Ahh also don't come here too late at night. When we got there there was a nice friendly vibe, but when we left the place was swarming with angry DRUNK people.

Our first night of our honeymoon we spent a night here. Our room was gorgeous, we had views of the pool which also was really good. The bed and down duvet were luxurious.

The only draw for me was that it was too far out from everything. As we are not really gamblers the casino was not necessary. I would definitely stay at a Hard Rock Hotel again, just do not require a place with a casino in the future.

Nice place to go see a show. We went to see Jerry Seinfield and it was easy to find, easy to park, easy to get to our seats, decent prices on beer/wine/etc. Coming from Miami it is a bit of a drive, but overall it's not too bad. I would suggest eating before you go, even though there are a lot of restaurants, they were all either booked, or the food and wait service was just average.

Since I'm not much of a gambler, leaving that to the professionals but more so to those who have absolutely no idea the significant meaning of statistical odds or mathematical probabilities, I can't really comment on gambling. However, I have been to a number of casinos and it is very clear that the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino outshines all others anywhere else nearby.

I was invited to one of the rooms for a party and found it to be spacious, clean, modern and well appointed; definitely an OK place to spend a night or two. The pool with its water falls and little Disneyesque looking rock mountain was eye appealing, relaxing and set the perfect background for our private cocktail hour reception bar.

Overall, the place is huge! Like really huge. If it were not for the well marked directions I could get lost in the parking garage alone.

Though it is by no means Las Vegas, it comes pretty darn close for anything else located around here. Plenty of slot machines and a stage show auditorium that must seat something around 5,000, and I think I'm being conservative on that.

There are also some rather good restaurants, but unlike gambling resorts of half a century ago (yeah, I was around then) the food is not subsidized by gambling profits, so the prices, though not really out of line, tend to be rather stiff.

There is a beautiful walkway street, a pedestrian mall like set up, of all kinds of shops and restaurants that offer a good opportunity to do a lot of interesting browsing.

All in all, whether you are a gambler or not, it is well worth a leisurely afternoon or evening visit.

!!So for my 26th Bday I said " Well hey lets rent at the Hard Rock!!!!!

Good Choice on my behalf.... Total was $400 for 2 nights

The rooms are super modern... trendy and clean. large marble bathrooms and the beds are super comfy!!!

I got a upgrade with balcony overlooking pool!!! Was awesome... I invited some people up for a pre=party and was  a blast to say the least!

The sound system was loud and we were having a awesome time!!

We were not being quiet to say the least and no security even knocked on the door... mind you .. the bash went to a after party till 3am +

We headed down to the pool ( with two waterfalls and pool that wraps around whole area) Was awesome time... theres a bar in the center to grrab frozen cocktails...

The pool attendants come around asking if you need drinks and you get two towels.. one for your chair and one to dry you off...

We ate lunch at the hard rock cafe... pretty decent... and went off clubbing and bar hopping till late night.

Think we went to Passions and Gryphon and Slim's and Murphy's law and the casino bar.... Okayy!!! We went to all of them but at least I didnt have to drive!!! lol

I would reccomend to rent a room here for the "best" time.

Thanks hard rock I enjoyed your stay!

I enjoy gambling, but I think Atlantic City has a bit on the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. I was really excited to visit because of my good luck at Harrah's in Atlantic City playing craps and more recently, roulette. Unfortunately, Seminole has one big problem. No craps. No roulette.

Seminole only features blackjack, poker, WAR, and a few other random, weird card games that would not be found in many casino's. When I was walking around on a Saturday afternoon, the $5 and $10 blackjack tables were filled to the point where you could not even stand behind the players. The $25 and the $50 blackjack tables were much less crowded, so I spent a good three hours hanging out playing around with $100-200. It wasn't a bad time at all with the dealers sometimes helping out in certain situations.

I think Seminole would get a much higher rating if they would just feature one of my more favorite games, whether it be roulette or craps.

We found this treasure on our way back from Miami, we had to stop! It's a little treasure! Great shops, restaurants & bars, and of course a very large Casino. I do have to mention the drive there taking the exit from Miami was a bit sketchy. The neighborhood is not that great, JUST LOCK YOUR DOOR and keep driving! Haha.

If you're looking for a great night out with the significant other or looking for some fun on the weekend, the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe is a great stop!

I went here Saturday night for my birthday. I didn't stay in the hotel and I'm not a gambler but the atmosphere in the casino was great and the little food court in there was packed which added to the vibe. We went to a seafood resturant that was overpriced and had no atmosphere, which was probably our own fault, we noticed that there was less people there and we wanted something more chilled out and away from the crowds. Yeah it was dead and the waitress was crappy, no drink specials just $3draughts which was weird too.

My biggest issue was that by 1am I didn't feel safe anymore. Seemed like there were huge gangs of thug looking characters hanging around. It was awkward maneuvering around them and although I was with my boyfriend and not dressed racy I felt like many of these guys were staring, making sly gestures and just overall quite intimidating. It seemed like a fight could break out any minute.

As for the clubs the majority seemed to be teaming with a rough crowd. I saw the bouncers getting quite heavy handed at the door with a few guys which totally put me off. We ended up in the Latin resturant there which had a tiny dance floor and a much nicer crowd of people happily salsa-ing away. Although it didn't take long for the cram-packed dance floor to empty when the stupid DJ stopped playing Latin music and mixed up for weird pounding beat that sounded like glass smashing repeatedly. After this around 2:30am we left.

Overall I think it's good probably midweek and earlier in the evening, after 12am it gets shady. Also I saw families and children there till about 12:30am which really isn't good, although there is the hotel attached - it is NOT a child-friendly environment. I had a good night, but not fantastic. I will go back but will tailor the day, time and eating place around this experience.

This review is for a restaurant in the outside area of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, not the Casino or hotel itself.

On the Sat. night of the Hall & Oates Concert at the Hard Rock, my husband and I arrived 90 minutes early with intent to eat at the restaurant, Noodles, an Asian eatery outside in the area of the theater, clubs, shops and restaurants.  I had purchased a Groupon for Noodles and thought this would be the perfect beginning to a great evening.

After being seated, a couple of ladies leaned over and said that they hoped we weren't there to eat because the restaurant was out of everything!  They said they were told that the restaurant was out of rice, Shrimp and I don't remember what else they mentioned. They also said they had been waiting for their order to arrive for over 45  minutes!  They too were there using their Groupon.

We sat for a little while longer and no one came to our table to greet us or ask us if we wanted anything. At that point we decided we better find another place to eat so we got up and left. As we were leaving, we passed an elderly couple sitting at a table on the way out. The lady looked at us and said, "You are doing the right thing!"  She looked disgusted and miserable!

The good news is Groupon promptly refunded the value I paid for the Groupon after I explained the poor experience I have shared here.

I'd never been to a casino/resort on an Indian Reservation before so didn't know what to expect. As it turns out it's just a normal casino and hotel of the like you would find in Vegas. I preferred this Hard Rock over the one in Vegas, it just felt bigger and had all manner of outdoors venues.

I would like to point out that I only visited for a private event, I didn't stay at the hotel. I would like to return to stay and use the pool facilities.

I'll be back.

I'm going to have to agree with Michelle C., as I normally do in her reviews.  Here are my two adds:

- ON TOP OF OLD SMOKY - It's time to kill the cigarettes.  On the plus side, if you're an ex-smoker, this will show you exactly what you smelled like, reminding you that quitting was the right thing.  The smell is everywhere, inescapable, and nasty.

- BLOODY HELL YES - They use Zing Zang as the bloody mix, and make one helluva good bloody for only $6, making the aforementioned smoke less of an issue after 3 or 4.  I say, take what you would have lost in the slots and invest it at the bar.

Overpriced for the $270 standard room cost.  The room did not have a microwave which I would consider a standard item nowadays.  It was cold so I did not get out by the pool.  I was there for convenience for an event but the restaurants are just okay, and the clubs are just okay. The service was good in all areas.  The casino I think also pays out less than Seminole across the street who will give you free drinks.

I like coming here to play slots, but after a few hours, the cigarette smoke gets a little unbearable so I go outside for fresh air. Last weekend, I went and was informed by security, that I can no longer stand around. I had to keep walking at all times. I was there with my family and we saw the securities basically harassing people to keep moving. I couldn't believe they will have a policy like this on a place of this sort. I understand them trying to cut down on fights, but maybe increasing security presence could help with the problem. Here is a video shot where you can hear it officially from one of the security guards. youtube.com/watch?v=Zpce…

This review is based on Passions nightclub. Had the worst experience a bartender on some serious drugs made my drink order wrong twice he threw them out.. Then I kept trying to pay for drinks. I wanted to put 2 on card and 2 with cash. He took the card and charged me 80 dollars and claimed I ordered 6 drinks and that he gave me a free drink? He ended up throwing the receipt in my face saying get the fuck out mind you charged my card. The security guard walked by and I complained about the bartender he said I'm sorry he's so drunk. Like not acceptable. Trashy place will not be back

There are many other places you can go besides the Hard Rock that are cheaper and you will have a much better time, namely, Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The nightclubs aren't all that and the music is below par. Passions seemed to play the same type of music and most of it was from 2006-2008. $20 cover for a no-name DJ that sucked. Wet Willies was way too strong, overpriced and the drinks weren't too good. If you must go to Hard Rock, I would only go for the concerts, improv or to Murphy's Law, which is a bearable but not great bar. Basically $50 for a crappy night.

It seems like South Florida is turning into Mini Vegas these days with all the racinos/racetracks being established, and the laws that were passed several years back to make it all happen. The Seminole tribe has various casinos around South Florida, but this location (and another location in Tampa) have the Hard Rock label. I had visited the Tampa location about a day after it opened under the Hard Rock label and was rather unimpressed; however, that was many years ago, so I'm sure it's gotten alot better.

Since that time, they've pulled in many more slot and video poker machines that are games you're familiar with vs. being "generic." Beware that due to the rules and regulations around here, it won't be like gambling in Vegas. The gaming machines are video versions only, and although they do pay, you need to be very careful when checking the paytables and number of credits per spin. You'll see plenty of 5, 10, and 25 cent machines, but the credit mulitpliers vary on each one, and you can wind up spending alot more money than you think you are. For example, I saw a 25 cent machine where you actually played 90 quarters if you bet maximum coins (like I always do, particularly on the multiline machines.)  As long as you can familiarize yourself with this and pay close attention to how much you're betting per spin, you should be OK. The cheapest game I found there was a nickel machine, and you were only spending about $2.50 if you played maximum coins.

Also, many have commented on the bingo game that's incorporated into the machines and how it makes them tight. In reality, the bingo game does not cost any extra money and does not affect the outcome of winning or losing a jackpot - it's just an added feature that's unique to the Indian casinos here. You must touch the bingo card that appears on the screen to activate it before placing your bet and hitting the "Daub" (spin) button. The bingo game won't make you lose, but it's like hitting a separate jackpot if you win.

Be aware that there is only poker for the table games, no craps or blackjack, and there are a few different versions of the poker games, but all have rules that you won't find in a Vegas style casino. Once again, everything's been tailored to the rules and regulations of the tribes.

The pizza shop in the food court was fantastic, as were the shops, restaurants and bars in Seminole Paradise.

I had an excellent trip and hit a $700 jackpot right before leaving thanks to a single bonus round on one of the Monopoly machines-I guess I got lucky, seeing as how I had blown about $150 in the 4 hours I was there.

The Hard Rock Hollywood is definitely worth checking out. I'd visit this location, as well as the Tampa location, before the other Indian casinos in the area (they seem very generic in comparison to the Hard Rock locations.)

Overall, my experience over the Super Bowl weekend was amazing but a lot of areas to fix. Chinese New Year & Super Bowl entertainment was an eye opener! So many decors it was beautiful. From that to dancing girls on the bars in the center of the casino floor. It was like when will it end? Drinks..? Well the servers come around but you have to pay, so have cash on hand. I've found out a day late but around 4 or 5 to 8 it's 2 for 1 happy hour at the swamp outside of the paradise exit. So if you looking for a good cheap buzz head there or pre-game. They do not have roulette or crap but plenty of blackjack tables which I was not a fan of. They do have roulette and craps in digital live but at night - it gets packed quick and they stay there forever so go in early and stay or hope your lucky! I would hope in the near future clear out more of the million of rows of slots and open more roulette tables. The restaurants around the casino are just as amazing as they look. Didn't take the time to eat at all of them but if your looking for a quick snack the pizzeria by the high stakes tables and nonsmoking section slots are quick good and reasonable. I did get the chance to snag a table reservation at council oak, if you haven't been there yet. It's a spot to reserve, you don't know when the next time you will be back there. During the weekend, you might see a lot of traffic and people due to the club / bar scene but it's reasonable and you can easily just cut through slot rows if need be. I've also found its easily to get parking if you go higher up then work your way down or just get valet. Have fun and good luck!

Let me start off with I am a Miami resident who spent 10 years in vegas. We travel internationally frequently and chose above-average accomodations. We booked this hotel to save us the drive back after a Journey Concert at the end of June. We assumed since it bared the name of Hard Rock, and charged similar prices, we would have a similar experience to the Hard Rock in Vegas.

We could not have been more wrong on so many levels.

The Good -

The staff was friendly, smiling and generally happy to help.
The arena was a great place to see a concert

The Bad -

We stayed in the Luxury King Suite. Its not a suite, its a hotel room with a fancy bathroom. The decor is bland, the lighting is horrific, the shower leaked, the left side of the shower didnt even have hot water, the room is worn, the balcony is almost non-existent (if you drag the dining chairs out there (did i mention no chairs) and sit down, you are staring at a 3 foot high cement wall), horrible noise levels from the pool, DJ and Highway. all this for $600-900 per night. I have paid less for much more elegant/Larger suites at the Hard Rock in Vegas - over a holiday weekend - in VEGAS not Davie, FL

I got to enjoy hard boiled eggs benedict (dectecting note of sacasm??) from room service. Breakfast was cold, not flavorful and of course, overcooked.

Bed was sagging in middle, no fluff in pillows and one blanket

Air conditioning did not work properly

The nightclubs apparently dont mind if you are wearing cutoffs and flip flops and being ignorant, as long as you are purchasing a drink

VIP Dining package for concert - DO NOT waste your money - the seats are at the back of the theater, the "DIning" is a 2 option meat "buffet" with pititful liquor offerings. there are about 10 pub hight tables for a few hundred people to STAND and eat at. Go eat somewhere else, then go see the show.

The pool is a LOT smaller than it looks in the pictures. It is very noisy and very crowded. Apparently the DJ is deaf and needs to blast music at full volume - when there are people sitting right in front of where he set up. I watched multiple people have to pack up and move due to the uncomfortable noise level.

The Ugly

I have never in my life experienced clientele of the likes i experienced at this property. I was pushed, shoved, called names (sexist, racist) and overheard derogatory remarks about almost every ethnicity on the planet - from the people visiting the property. I have never been so appalled at behavior in my life. I guess living in melting pots such as MIami and Vegas have set the bar higher for how i expect people to behave. I will NEVER set foot on this property again - nor will i EVER recommend anyone to stay here.

For the money - stay on south beach, take a taxi out there and see for yourself - you wont be missing anything.

OK so I finally made the trip out here and for the sake of not remembering the night I will make this a quick review.

TOOOOO far for this kendall girl...and I do not know that it was worth the drive
Way too many drunk people acting a fool
Parking was a mission from hell
Flooded with tourists

The good:
Like the concept- all the bars in one street, you can easily bar hop and listen to different music, live bands, different foods.
and that's pretty much it...SMH!

I could make a killing selling chancletas in there! I'm just saying....
Will I go back? maybe...who knows but for sure I refuse to drive back so unless I'm staying there no thanks..I'll pass.

Went in for some gambling. The cigarette smoke is way out of control. The whole place smells awful. Hard Rock pipes in some kind of fragrance which smells like toilet cleaner to help with the smoke smell but it just makes it more unpleasant. We left after 30 minutes and had headaches from the cloud of nicotine that permeates every area of the hotel. Would of stayed longer if it weren't so vile.

Definitely a fun place to spend an evening or celebrate a milestone!

Came here on a wed in July the casino is nice and clean but the reason I only gave it 3 stars is the fact that as your playing you still have to pay for drinks which I have never seen before. The drinks were quite expensive so maybe a good idea to have a couple in the room before. But bring a cooler cause you cannot use the fridge in the room. We also ate dinner here it was good but also a little pricey if you keep the drinks to minimum you can get away under $100 for dinner .

My husband and I were comped two nights at the Hard Rock.  In the past we've visited the casino many times and dined in several restaurants -- we've enjoyed each event.  But, we had never stayed in the hotel until now.

The room was fine...just fine.  Not worth the $400+ they charge paying guests.  It had two comfortable queen beds, a minibar stocked with really expensive fare, sufficient storage in the dressers and closet, and even a safe.  Music was coming from a clock radio on a bedside table.  We couldn't figure how to stop the music (no instructions were provided), so we turned it to the lowest volume setting.  The time on the clock was off by many hours, and a "low battery" light was flashing.  We left it and relied on our watches, etc. for correct time.

The shower was in a tub that was impossible for me to climb into/out of without assistance (I'm 5'3").

My biggest complaint -- this is quirky, I admit -- is the phone system!  We wanted room service on Monday night.  The phone had a quick dial room service button.  I pressed it and was connected to the Player's Club in the casino.  I hung up and called the hotel operator and asked to be transferred.

The phone was answered by someone who (despite severe speech defects) advised that the Monday room service menu was limited and no, we couldn't order a pizza.  Nowhere on the menu we had in the room was this limitation noted.  We ordered Buffalo wings, instead.  We were advised that the meal would be delivered within 45 minutes "or less."  It was a full 45 minutes when the order arrived.  It was hot and good.

While waiting for the room service, the phone rang once and stopped.  I picked up the receiver and there was no one on the other end.  However the "message" light was on.  So, pushed the quick dial message button, and was connected to room service!!!!  I didn't even attempt to retrieve any messages.

Positive aspects at the Hard Rock?  The staff was friendly, prompt and helpful.  There was a Keurig coffee maker and pods in the room.  The wifi was free and fast.

Now, we can say, "Been there; done that."

I visited the concert hall to see Hall and Oates. The concert was great and there were plenty of seating options where a good view could be had. However, I would avoid the extreme corners close to the stage and on the sides of the room, as it appeared it would be difficult to see well from there. Overall, the venue is relatively small and feels a bit like an empty warehouse where seats were put down. Thus, it is not as extravagant as some of the nicer classic venues or amphitheaters I've been to, but it gets the job done. I would see another show here, especially if they bring Hall and Oates back.

Hotel and casino where the late and GREAT Anna Nicole Smith passed.

The property and everything this place has to offer are almost endless, especially if you are staying for 3 nights or less.  You probably wont be able to discover all the amenities.

I think the place being so large and grand is a downfall for the hotel.  No one, including tenured staff are able to answer your questions.  It's always, I think.....or maybe....or I am pretty sure....etc.

They have plenty of bars outside in an outdoor shopping type environment.  You can go from store to store or bar to bar and listen to music.  Come back inside to the hotel for gambling.  They even have Michael Jackson slot machines.  The only ones in the United States I believe. (Check out the picture I uploaded)

All in all the hotel and grounds are clean and well kept.  There is plenty of music icons and classic rock memorabilia adorning the walls to keep your eyes busy.

Would I come back??  Yes.  Would I want to stay here for longer than a weekend??  Probably not.

Its closest thing to Vegas except in Vegas drinks on the gambling floor is free but here you have to pay.

The casino/hotel is in a really shady area but going in the grounds is actually not to bad.

My likes
Dinner at Counsel Oaks was really good.

not enough waitress to go around the floor
$$$ for drinks
not enough tables

Oh Hard Rock Casino, how you disappoint me.  My Mom, a snowbird who spends one weekend a month hopping on a bus to Atlantic City for some gambling action, was disappointed too when I brought her there last week.  This review is only directed towards the casino, which at first glance looks awesome, but sadly looks are very deceiving here.  I've been to the complex for dinner, concerts and happy hour before and have had nothing but good fun. Honestly I hate gambling to begin with but often find myself braving the annoying and noisy casinos to appease my mother during her annual visits to South Florida.  I was looking forward to seeing her have a good time.  My Mom pretends to have a strategy and gambling expertise, but I think she just gets hypnotized by the flashing lights on the Wheel of Fortune game.  Hard Rock has all the flashing lights, bells and whistles of a Vegas casino, but sadly we left with sore throats from the thick cloud of smoke that engulfs this place and big frowns on our faces from (as another Yelper put it) "reverse ATM machines" that do nothing but suck the money out of your pockets at lightning speed.  Even some of the crappier casinos around town at least let you play.  They give you the false perception of winning so you stay longer, enjoy yourself and spend more money.  If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, steer clear of this place.  If you think you will get free drinks while gambling, think again (Coors Light are $4).  The people who hang there are shady and the staff are rude.  Stay out of the casino - hang out outside at one of the restaurants or catch a concert there at Hard Rock Live.  Way better option.

For a casino that has "advanced air handling capabilites" this place reeks of cigarette smoke. For all their scenting that they do, it's useless. You can go in for less than an hour and walk out smelling as if you've smoked a pack of cigarettes in a closed car. It's uncomfortable if you have trouble with smoke.

That being said, the slots are fun. There are a few games that seemed to pay out pretty well, but a penny machine isn't a penny these days, is it? Not when your minimum bid is $0.50.

Sign up for the perks card, I did a week ago and wound up with a $100 free play certificate in the mail today.

Brilliant place -- super generous and the people are lovely -- especially love the chambermaids who all seem to hail from Jamaica and when you stay here a few days they really care about you.

This place has so many reviews that it almost isn't worth it to review it, but I had to let the Yelp world know about how fantastic of a time my large group of friends and I had here! I was at the grounds of this massive entertainment complex to attend a YELP party at Pangea but my companion and I did stroll around and also used the "facilities" at a couple other locations (such as Murphy's Law which seemed to have a very nice DJ) but we didn't go into the casino.  It looks as if there are a few shuttered doors which is sad because this place seems to do their best to have very clean grounds and bars and restaurants with very attentive helpful staff.  It's large enough that I really feel we don't need anymore casinos anywhere in the area; particularly in downtown Miami.  As time (and $) permit, I'm sure I'll go back from time to time to enjoy their concerts and bars.

The good:
Room we had was huge. Overlooked the pool and had a small balcony. Inside the room the bathroom had an open window that you can look out into the room. The hot tub was cool. The shower was big enough to fit 4 people and had double everything. If we had the opportunity to enjoy the room it would have been better but all we did was sleep. The outside mall was nice to walk through. Their Ben & Jerry's shop was a nice bonus. Casino prices though.
The bad:
Very smokey. Was not a fan of hanging out in the casino. Tables were worn out. The lobby reeked. The check-in took a while even though the line wasn't all that long. Their prices for a Sunday night were crazy but we were suckered into it.

When it comes to going "ALL OUT" casino or party, there's no place like Seminole. From bachelor parties to standup comedy nights and concerts. This place CAN keep you entertain for 1 or 2 nights or an entire week... if you have the money.

With several visits, yet no stays, I have been satisfied every night. Several places to have lunch/dinner. Plenty of bars to go dancing to and very organize too! It's like a Disney for Adults... to get wasted and meet people going "ALL OUT" too. At some point the Seminole limits the bar section area and start IDing to keep it 21+. (respect). And you can still drink and walk around the area changing bars or go window shopping... (Highly recommend to NOT do thi$ if you're drunk with a $ignificant other or a one night $tand a$ you might lo$e extra ca$h... unnece$$arily)

Keeping it brief, I will easily come here 3 maybe 5 times a year just to party it UP! With my parents, my younger brother, or even my grandmother and leave her on the slots.

I am a local and used to visit this casino three to four days out of the week. Few months back everything has gone down hill, no more monthly free play, no more monthly calendar being sent. Here's why I love going to the Hollywood Hard Rock ~

*The restaurants - Martorano's is the real deal when it comes to Italian cooking.  Where else can you go that has a DJ playing awesome music, bartender's that make great drinks and delicious food?  Rooftop of Bongo's!  Fun atmosphere!!  If you want really good seafood and steaks you head over to Council Oak.  To top it all off, what about Tatu for sushi!

*Concerts / Entertainment - Since opening up 2013 with Kid Rock at Hard Rock Live, I have been to some GREAT shows - Matchbox 20, John Legend, Jerry Seinfeld, Al Pacino, Steve Miller Band, Bill Cosby, Jon Secada, Sheryl Crow... to name a few!  The venue has a cool, intimate feel to it and the acoustics "rock" with all the musical instruments sounding sharp and the vocals are better than studio quality!

I do not go clubbing like I used to but every once in awhile its fun to listen to house music and get your dance on!  You have a choice of 3-4 places for that.  Murphy's Law is a fun place where they always have live entertainment and it doesn't get clusterphobic : )

The Improv here is one of my favorite places for a comedy show!  About once a month they have a special guest comedian who you have probably seen in a movie or on a TV show.  Their food menu has been updated and their drink list is excellent!

This review is on the my last experience which was last Thursday, April 11th in the evening.

I went with my friend to have dinner at Tatu.  I have been to Hardrock at least 40 times prior to this and then I moved to VEGAS, for 2 years. I know how to gamble, believe you me, I know how one should be treated in a Casino, and I do appreciate "free" booze [which you don't get here and as we all know comes with it's own price]

You all need to get rid of the dealer named Debbie...Debbie Downer is totally her name. She should not be client facing at all, in my opinion, you do not want her representing your brand.  Debbie is somewhat Blonde hair with badly needed done roots.

After we had dinner, we sat at the $10 table right outside in the patio area there were 2 of us, and one gentlemen sitting at the table already.  She was a little abrasive to start, but only got worse as the play time went on.

First, when she was shuffling cards my friend picked up her phone, and got yelled at by Debbie. At this point, 2 gentlemen had also sat down, and one of them inquired from Debbie why you can't use the phones at the table. Debbie proceeded to talk to him like he was four, and her only answer was 'casino protection', which she said to hi like 15 times like he was a moron. The guy, at the end of the table, then described to the newbie why no phones. When Debbie started to act even ruder to him, he finally got up and left. And you guys lost money. AND THEN Debbie started talking about how arrogant and what a jerk the guy was...IN FRONT OF OTHER PATRONS...when in all actuality it was her. Not classy, tasteless, and disgusting.

Second, she miscounts ---she miscounted one of my cards told me it was 17 when it clearly was 16, I had to second guess myself, and then corrected her-which she did not like.... Guess what my job is not a dealer. She also when questioned about 'what the book says' would never give advice, but would rather stare at you like you were bothering her.

THEN, my friend did the hand slash (universal don't hit) and Debbie HIT. To  which, she then explained not to touch the table and it was my friends fault.  Believe you me it was clear as day. She called her supervisor over, to which point he described to us 2 petite blonde ladies, what don't hit is.. AGAIN WRONG MOVE. To which I promptly told him to roll the tapes. He then told me that was 'not necessary' and allowed the game to proceed.

I am not a child, I gamble a lot, I have money, I like to spend it, I haven't been here in a while to gamble and I won't be back here to do it anytime soon.

You all need to get your service corrected ASAP.

Went there for the first time yesterday. And was very impressed. I did not think it was that big. Very colourful vegas style casino.

Although it was hard to find the poker as I was sent on a wild cat chase. Most people who worked in the casino seemed lost when it came to Texas. But when I finally found the poker room I was amazed how many people were in there. Plus many waiting to play.

I gave a 4 star but my playing was a one star!!! Next time I guess as I will be back.

I had an excellent time when i went but my only concerns were there were not enough waitresses going around for drinks, and THERES NO ROULETTE OR CRAPS TABLES!!! its all electronic which i hate so i am giving the place 4 stars

Was here all day for a poker tournament. Not a fan. Most of the dealers had either zero personality or just were not interested in dealing a tournament. I hate that you can smoke right outside the poker room and just about everywhere else. The parking lot was kind of confusing for us as first time visitors,  since it seemed there were multiple entrances spread out with no signs that we could see. We ended up on the opposite side of the poker room and had to walk a mile away.

And the most important part - no alcohol for gamblers. This makes me a grumpy gambler, and allowed me to leave sober instead of spending more money in the establishment like I might have otherwise. Lose-lose for all parties involved.

The sign in front of the 21 and over area says no sleeveless shirts, baggy pants, or do rags with pictures, and they mean it.  They also take carding very seriously and enjoy catching underage party goers trying to sneak by.   For the most part every one going to the clubs is dressed to impressed and lends its self to fantastic people watching.  There are dance clubs, sports bars, and a pub in this area.  What's missing are upscale lounges serving specialty drinks, but whose complaining when there are so many other liquor options?

This has to be one of the worst casinos we've ever been to. No payouts, rude staff, drinks are 8-9 dollars a piece, the craps and roulette are automated...it is TERRIBLE. I asked the bartender if they had a tip jar and he told me "his hand" with a smirk. Not to mention, when the craps machine took all our money and I tried to cash out what was left, it took 6 different people to figure it out. We will never be back here. We arrived at 2pm...stated they would call when room was ready...hit the pool...got antsy since we had reservations that night...we finally got our room about 5...we then asked for a late check out...they agreed to 2pm.  Room was very nice until we opened up curtains to admire the pool view and instead was stuck looking at a parking lot and what appeared to be a garbage dump.  We paid for a pool view thru Orbitz...we contacted the front desk and they said..."since it was booked thru a 3rd party there was nothing that they could do about it..."  We paid extra for a nice view and our paper work showed this...they weren't interested.  Day of check out...went to pool...came back to room all wet...and locked out...they lock you out of your own room at 11am...went to front desk...he gave me a hard time since my ID was locked in room.  At 12:45 with do not disturb sign on door...the head cleaning lady was knocking on my door...she told me that we were to be out at 11 and why we haven't left...I told her we had room until 2 and closed door.  Felt like a number the whole time...don't normally get this kind of service when you're paying over $700/night?!?!

Beautiful hotel/casino. A lot of cool shops and restaurants. Pool was not available but from our room it looked gorgeous. My main concern was that employees are not really friendly, management needs to step it up. Over different occasions we felt staff was not hungry to make tips somewhat felt like they deserved it without doing anything. The bell man brought our luggage and instead of putting it in the car for us he waited while we did it ourselves. When we went to eat at the hotels cafe our server came twice once to take our order and to leave the check. It was an empty restaurant and as we waited to be sat no one greeted us, and there were 3 staff members up front. We had to signal them to sit us. No one says hello or how your doing. Anyway i did love the hotel but the employees need to be more friendly. At least if they expect a tip.

I have mixed feelings about Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. It might be due to the hypnotic blinking lights found in the heart of the casino or the way the figures on the slot machines spin out of control, but I think I may be a fan. I am not normally a fan of the slots, but they have fancy machines that appear more like video games which may appeal to the video game enthusiast. I also originally thought they didn't have roulette tables (something which I became affixed to during my time in the dirty South), but they have roulette slot machines which practically serve like the real deal.

Like all other Hard Rocks, they have rock star memorabilia hung up on the walls, and when you step into the elevator from the garage, you smell the scent of cigarette smoke lingering in the air, reminiscent of any dive-in bar, but the Hard Rock name gives it that extra edge.

I came for a wedding here, and I would say that their wedding management skills are a little bit below average. Their wedding/salmon plates which cost over $100, were quite bare (could have had more meat), came with these fibrous veggies, and could have been more delicious for the price. It definitely didn't taste like a $100 plus meal. The ballroom venue with the beige walls is also quite boring and standard. I think you could find a cheaper wedding reception venue if you tried harder. However, if your friends and family love the slots, I would highly recommend this place.

I'm going to go out and say it. This place....is a s**t show. Huge congregations of club douches and girls were dresses with ass cheeks popping out. I could see why this place gets packed. Good restaurants within close proximity of each other, decent places to dance in, the apparent lack of a dress code....yeah I get it. But would I ever come back. No....it's ok. My Club Cama with DJ Pillow seems more appealing. Any why did I have to pull out my ID 572 times at random entrances AND while entering bars?

This is casino based only.  I have been thru a lot of casinos, and this is about rock bottom.  I have not been here in a couple years, so I expected a decdent experience here.  I was here on a Saturday night, so there was a huge crowd even after midnight thru 4 am.  So lots of people and there could have been a little more servers mixed in.  For $10 a simple mixed drink and $4 bottles of beer, I shouldn't have to get you from the machine stealing my money, to be extorted for alchol!  I thought at $4 a beer, the hard stuff would be a better deal.

Oh yeah, the machines aren't tight, they are reverse ATM's deposits only.  The machines have much high line plays (maximum lines playable) than most casinos.  The games were a decent mix of normal and super flashing, beeping, sensor overload ways of take your money.

I realize the hard rock is a brand, and you can go to their other location across the state, but I'm not looking forward to another trip to gamble here.  There are much better casinos!  If you like overpriced drinks that you have to go to bar to get, this is your place!

This review is for the shopping/dining promenade outside the resort and Hard Rock Live venue. I've been here a few times, mostly to browse around or kill time before a show, and it's always an interesting place. The area is spread out but it can get crowded (especially after dark). I do give the management props for keeping it so clean considering that it is heavily-trafficked. They have live bands performing at night, which is always enjoyable. The casino is huge and seems to do a good business attracting lots of passersby inside.

3. The area is so clean and so are the restrooms.
4. Casino itself is large, plenty of tables and machines + food court inside the casino.
5. There's a parking lot there so no need to worry about parking and it's free.

Love it. Great to have a quasi-Vegas option so close to home.

I love Vegas for the shows, dining, great hotels at bargain rates, pools, drinking and gambling. So this is no Vegas, but they do very well with what they have.

I'm a blackjack player. The rules here are better than many Caesars casinos (6:5 BJ) and definitely better than in the Bahamas.

They usually have $5 tables, but I prefer the $25 tables to avoid the riff raff. Paying for drinks in advance is annoying, but I get it. I'd like to see comp drinks for $25 players.

I've had great meals here. Tatu was awesome but recently closed. Martoranos has great food but the DB factor is off the chart. Looking forward to trying brunch at Council Oak.

I'm glad it doesn't provide the full Vegas experience; if it did, I'd probably be there too much! But this is always a fun night with out of town friends or an entertaining solo afternoon. Well done!

One of the best arenas for live music, fantastic acoustics, every seat is a great seat.

If you are planning to catch a show, definitely book a room as soon as you get your tickets because they do sell out rooms. Do not think you are going to be able to get a special rate because that will not happen.

Not good for kids because smoking allowed at bars.

For as long as this has been here, I have never stepped foot in here. Also, if you remember, I recently visited Las Vegas. I do not gamble. Neither here nor in Las Vegas did I spend One Penny on gambling. Let me tell you this, though, this here Casino Complex is not that different from what you will find in Las Vegas. If you have been to Las Vegas, the biggest difference you will notice here, there is not much if anything for children. Many children were there, however, accompanied by adults.

Upon entering the Casino, remember I recently visited Las Vegas, it is massive and awe inspiring. I saw that episode of Family Guy, I get it. No matter which way you're going you must go through the Casino. One thing that impressed me most, I was standing trying to figure-out where I was on one of the many maps when suddenly someone approached me to give me directions. Thank you for that. I probably would have ended-up inside a slot machine and who knows who would have taken me home after winning me. The outside, is where most of the bars, restaurants and shops are located. A tad difficult to know where you are despite the many signs but, very well laid out and very clean. It will all make sense to you after a short while.

Main things to note before coming here and not necessarily listed by importance:

* Smoking - This Casino Complex is cigarette and cigar friendly. Get over it. Just follow the ashtrays or people smoking. The Casino itself is smoker friendly. Again, get over it.

* Parking - There is plenty and I mean PLENTY of it available. Valet is also an option.

* Security - You are no longer in America the minute you step foot in here. Security is tight and you are always being watched. Although handled swiftly and professionally where nobody really knew it happened, I saw it. If you try to be "cute" you will have people talking to you quickly and removing you from within site of anyone having a good time. Keep it cool, ok? It's not their fault you just gambled your family away in less than one hour.

* Passion Night Club - I was here for Boogie Nights. An Event hosted by FM Magic 102.7. Very large and impressive club. At least for this Event, the real party is downstairs. The VIP section is VIP but, really isn't. You still have to walk through the poor peoples to make it to the bathroom and not very dance friendly. Getting drinks also requires you to go outside. The bar is connected but, hard to get to from within the VIP section.

Wow what a place, we came here during the FIFA World Cup on July 4th, everything was so decked out with random wheel of fortune games to play and food trunks in the lot. They had World Cup parade going around the casinos. Plus they give 100$ back to play for free if you loose $100. Only reason why I'd give it a 4star is because they charge for drinks. Overall I had an amazing what an ambiance!

After visiting the other Hard Rock Casino in Tampa and having a great time, I was excited to visit this one. Unfortunately it was a let down. I thought that this place was going to be a lot bigger than the HR in Tampa but the actual Casino floor is pretty much the same. They have more slots than anything else

We didn't see too many waitresses walking around with those free drinks for the players and we ended up having to buy some drinks which were completely overpriced. We ordered two glasses of wine which was probably one the worst wines I have ever had and paid $15.00 including tip.

The outdoor scene which consists of a dozen restaurants, bars and clubs is nice but they close some of the restaurants a bit too early considering this is a 24/7 operation. We didn't stay in the hotel so I can't comment on the accomodations. Next time I will visit some of the other casinos in the area.

This place has lots of hits and misses. I frequent the Hard Rock because it's so close to my house and besides the incessant smoke and gambling, it really is a fun place to come and unwind.

The vast amount of restaurants and bars makes it a fun and exciting night out for a group of friends to go out. From the Cafe Mortarano's to Tatu, you will not be bored. This place gets pretty jam packed, but don't worry you will find a parking spot. There's two garages and plenty of parking lots.

There are alot of events that go on here, such as the food trucks: great place to bring the kiddies. The decor in the casino will keep you occupied for hours. I love looking at all the souvenirs

I stood at the hotel for a couple times, and overall it was a good experience. The beds are extremely comfortable & it's pretty spacious. The only hit was the noise. Keep in mind that this is a casino and it is open 24 hours, so I woke up a few times in the night to people running the halls drunk as a skunk and yelling nonsense. Their pool is the best pool I have ever been to. I could spend all day at the pool.

Overall, the Hard Rock is a great place to enjoy a night out, not super kid friendly, but it makes for a good time.

We love going to Hard Rock. Mostly for the shows with dinner and we are always satisfied. Blue Plate is a basic restaurant w/no frills but we love the food and the service is always good. Comps usually take care of the bill. There is no waiting in line, making reservations, and it is tucked conveniently in the back for back entry parking which is never full. Such a pleasant experience to move freely with no setbacks in the night of entertainment, fun, and food.  After the shows, there is the gaming floor if one chooses. The interesting nooks and layout of the gaming floor we like alot and find ourselves tapping the machines for extra fun. Additionally, following show nights there is usually a live band then outside on the stage for some followup encore music.   Its just all around well done for us.  Kudos, Hard Rock Hollywood.

I stayed at the Seminole for a few weeks for work and have to say that it was one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in.  Everything was just right.

For starters, they had a Keurig in the machine and would bring me lots of k-cups so I could have a good free cup of coffee rather than go downstairs to Constant Grind.

The nightstand had an A/C power outlet and a USB plug to charge your phone/laptop.  Every hotel should have this, yet I end up unplugging a lamp to get to an AC power outlet behind the nightstand in most places.  A+++ for this one, Hard Rock.

They have a hookup to the TV to let you plug in a laptop or anything else you may have to watch, as they had 4 different ports to plug into.  Another great convenience.

I was also able to check out a Fender guitar for my room during my stay, and figured out how to plug the amplifier into the TV so I could rock out without headphones.  What a fun feature.

The casino itself is pretty great, too, except it's hard for me as a Las Vegan to see gambling without comped drinks.  You'll find me out in the back at one of the bars/clubs instead. :)

I have stayed at a number of casino hotels across the country.  This was very average.

I am not really sure why they charge an overnight guest for parking.  I wasn't charged, but that is because I did self-parking in a far lot (not intentionally, just did not know).

Check in slower than usual.  They did not have enough staff at the front desk.

Went to room and room keys did not work.  Maybe after 5 minutes, one of the keys worked.

Got into room and tv did not work.  Other than that, the room was ok.

We went to sit by the pool for 1 hour.  Pool lady was not that friendly.

I stopped at the concierge to see about tickets for the comedy show.  Concierge stated that there was a show, but she could not help us with tickets, we should go to the box office.  That is really strange.

Went to front desk to get new keys.  Had to wait, way, way too long.  Really too slow and long of a wait.  Also told them of tv not working.

Then went to Bongos for dinner.  See my review of Bongos.

After Bongos, went to the comedy place box office and found out that the show was sold out.  We then spent time in the casino.  It is nice.

Then, went to the Lobby Bar.  Drinks were too expensive.  One bar tender was really nice the other seemed to have an attitude.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, etc.

Next morning, sat at pool for an hour.  The lady checking room numbers was really nice.  She was the nicest person we encountered at Hard Rock.

When we left to return room key, the wait was so long, the person in front of me just went up to a front desk person, handed her key, turned around and walked away.

If back in the area, I probably would not return to Hard Rock.

If you smoke, this is the place for you! I stayed in the hotel on a non-smoking floor, but you definitely get the smoke from the casino going through the vents in the room. Honestly, it felt like I had a smoker right in the room with me. I did complain and they offered to bring in a filtering system. But the smoke was just too much. I only stayed one night for my meeting, and spent the other two nights at a nearby Hilton.
If not for the smoke, the rooms were very well decorated, clean, and modern.  There is also a nice spa.
I am from the west, and often go to Las Vegas. They seem to be able to do a better job with the smoke extraction.

Did you know that Anna Nicole Smith died here? That's enough for a few stars, right?

I love the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. No matter what I feel like getting myself into I can find some trouble here. I've seen shows, I've spent hundreds at the casino, I've drank the night away and everything in between.

I've never really had issues with parking.

There are plenty of food options to choose from. There is something for everyone.

The clothing/retail is lacking a little for my taste, but hey, it may be up your alley.

Let's get one thing clear though, this is no Vegas. No free booze, people. Just get that out of your head now and you'll be fine when you have to pay for yours inside.

Many of the bars outside the casino have amazing happy hour specials. I've had bogo beers and $3.00 beers. I mean, you can't beat it. Plus there's a Hooters. Everyone loves Hooters even if you don't love boobs in real life, you gotta love Hooters.

The Seminole Hard Rock really is what you make it. I feel like if you're looking for a good time you're going to find it and I'm pretty sure you'll have a blast.

Fun place for the Hollywood/south Florida/Miami region. I think the Miami crowd uses it as a break from south beach sometimes. Free parking.  Slots, blackjack, roulette.  Everything you can ask for from a reservation casino.  The "city walk" is fun with nice bars with good food and drinks.  They also have a poker room which if you're a Texas Holdem player is worth checking out.

I slightly struggled with my review for the Hard Rock because the couple of times I have stayed I have had ups and downs.  My first stay was amazing- since it was a quiet Sunday we got upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the pool area.  Being our first time, we enjoyed walking around the outside shopping area and tried out some of the restaurants.  My most recent stay ended up being an annoying process that really took away from our vacation.  We arrived at 11:00am and was told that they had an amazing room for us and should be available shortly (we paid extra for a high room with a view).  Needless to say, over 5 hours later and dealing with less than professional front desk staff (including the manager) we finally got into our room that was on the second floor with a "view" of the pool.

I'd say the casino area is OK- not great but not bad.  My husband enjoyed the outdoor Blackjack table and my friend loved the separate Poker Room.  As with most casinos, it was really smoky no matter where you went and it just had an overall run down feeling to it.

I defiantly think that this is the best hotel in the area compared to the other options.  We ended up taking the short drive to Miami for dinner as we weren't really impressed with the restaurants on site- again, they were ok but not great.  Overall, this is a good hotel option in the area with clean rooms, a good sized pool and a handful of amenities.

Not a kid friendly place. very limited to things to do except the pool. the pool closes at 8pm. I don't understand why so early. Kinda forces you to stay in your room or go gamble. The whole place was very clean and beautiful.

Closest thing to Vegas in South Florida.  By far the best/nicest casino in town.  Shops, restaurants, clubs, bars, gaming, it pretty much has everything, except a movie theater :)

This past visit, I came to a show at Hard Rock live.  Had no tickets.  Got there 1 hour before the show.  Found the ring leader and circus clowns selling tickets, and eventually bought some tickets from someone else, who wasn't trying to rob us.  :)

There was a cool band playing outside, before the show started.  Overall good vibe.  Good experience.  Easy to get to venue, plenty of parking.  Hit h00ters on the way out after the show.  No Problems Mon..

This is really a multi-faceted place.

I live only a few miles from here so I have never stayed at the hotel, but I have come many a time for the dining, casino, and clubs.

"Seminole Paradise" is the outdoor place where all the clubs are. Several restaurants and stores are out in the same area. My favorite nightclub is Gryphon (if you're into EDM type music-there's neon and strobe type lights, etc) and it ends up being 2 for 1 because it is associated with Pangaea, the African-decorated smaller hip hop club. They connect in the middle-so 1 cover gets you into both clubs. I don't think any other clubs at Hard Rock do this (although Passion is fun too)

The casino is a good time but there aren't roulette wheels (live ones-they have video roulette) which is my boyfriend's game. There are plenty of blackjack, poker, and pie gow tables to my knowledge. Keep in mind that smoking in casinos is legal-so if that bothers you-be warned.

There are a plethora of restaurants here-but very few of them take reservations and many have problems with large groups-see my review on Tatu.

This is a fun place to go for nightlife in general, and shopping. They always have promotions and radio events going on-it's a pretty good spot to be.

I took my mom here this past weekend and we had a blast!

We started our evening with a stroll through Seminole Paradise (the outdoor entertain area attached to the casino) checking out the shops, restaurants, and bars. There was live entertainment and it was drawing quite a crowd! We grabbed a drink at Wet Willie's and then made our way back to the casino.

We wanted something small to eat so we checked out the Food Court in the Casino. We were really impressed with all the options. We ended up getting our food from Sirrico's Pizza. We got chicken Parmesan and baked ziti for $11 - it was SO much food. We split the food and still weren't able to finish it. It was really tasty and quite good for Food Court food.

We spent a good amount of time in the casino and had a great time. There were plenty of slot machines to chose from along with card games. We stuck to the slots as cards just really arent our thing. The casino was crowded but we never had a hard time find a machine to sit down at.

They don't have free drinks in the casino like in Vegas, but we didn't expect that. The one downside to this is its VERY hard to find a waitress to even order a drink. Thankfully we still had our drinks from the bar outside to hold us over.

This whole complex could be soooooo much better. Given the changes that have gone down over the years, it seems like TSHRH&C is constantly going through a process of tearing something down and building something else. At the present moment, half of The Oasis has been torn down and looks as though it fell into the lake. Basically from where Tatu was all the way over to where The Seminole Museum was, is gone. I am sure they have a totally different plan in store, but oddly enough, many of the places here are tired and boring concepts that have no originality or have completely jumped the shark already.
Clubs such as Passions and Gyrphon/Pangaea have been there for many years and I don't mean that in the iconic sort of way. Murphy's Law has been there for quite some time and while it and passion are the two main meet markets, Murphy's being the more low brow and blue collar service industry spot, and Passions being the dress up club (though it really isn't as nice as it is big).  Gryphon was much better years ago but has failed to change with the times. Most find them highly overpriced and rude as well as Pangaea next door which is a run down overflow for Gryphon.
The restaurants are hit and miss. If you get good food here, you are going to pay a high premium or dearly for it, and that being the case, you might as well go to Council Oak so you know you'll get a good meal.
The Seminole Tribe should either elect better mgmt or hire it.

I am a 45 year old male in the hospitality business to start off! My girlfriend and I wanted to go to Hard Rock to gamble and have dinner. We also wanted to take my Harley Davidson which we did. It was beautiful outside and we left and took the 45 minute ride down. When I pulled up at the Valet I did not expect the guy to Valet my 25,000 dollar bike so I offered him 20 dollars and asked him if I could park the bike up front due to the fact we had belongings in the bike and not to mention I did not want anyone to mess with the bike. I was told I could not park nor could they  park the bike up front. I was told to park in the parking garage which I ended up doing on the third level. I was not happy to say the least! But I brushed it off and walked into the casino and gambled a little and then proceeded to exit out the back and have dinner at Hooters. We walked in and nobody greeted us. I walked to a waitress and asked her where we could sit. She said anywhere we like. We chose the round table in the middle and we were greeted by a waitress. We ordered 2 Coronas and the waitress asked if we could go ahead and put our food order in because she really wanted to go home. We had not even looked at the menu. But, feeling bad for her after she had told us she had worked 70 hours that week and was exhausted and needed to get home to her child. So we ordered and the beers came and a second later the food. I took one sip of my beer and had not even had a chance to taste the wings and she was right back at the table with the bill and asked how was our wings and could I go ahead and pay the bill. Needless to say this night was a disaster and i was boiling hot at this point. I payed the bill and got the food to go. I walked back through the casino and was going to gamble more but first I went to the Hotel Manager and explained I was not happy with everything. I was told that they did not run the vallet nor did they run Hooters, which I understand. Basiclly I was told to go pound sand. I left after that never to return! I gamble in Biloxi Mississippi where the real Casinos are. This place is an absolute joke. Obviously the new CEO as I understand it for Florida, Michael Beecham is missing something here. Maybe he just does not care. I do not either at this point!

This place is a joke and i would not go back. And if you have a motorcycle I would recommend taking your car!

C- I didnt win anything on the slot machines (lol - that's my fault though.)

As a whole I like this mini vegas type experience. They have lots of restaurants and shops and are building more!!

I DETEST the fact that they allow smoking in this place though! It is actually impossible to breath in some spots. And if you eat at Hard Rock Cafe and ask for non smoking you may end up seated outside on the patio in the smoking casino...wth?

If you valet you can do the 'express' and they will guarantee your car within 3 minutes! It was the best $20 we spent at this place!!! That's one less for the slots but well worth it!

Lots of slots, lots of eateries and a hotel right there! It's a fun evening out.

The hotel here seem very nice. This review is basically for the casino. I had a issue where my phone was stolen in the food court.  Security told me to wait for someone to turn it in ,even though there are cameras everywhere for them to check who stole it. Also when I tried to follow up with them a couple days later by phone they told me don't call. If they find it they will call me and hung up on me. Customer service is bad and I don't consider this casino safe. Will not come here again.

I decided to update this review because I feel I have previously been too harsh. Although I disagreed with a decision made by a floor person at a tournament, I don't want to slam a place just because I had one bad experience.  The Hard Rock is still a great place to go, just make sure you follow the rules closely (especially in tournaments).  In any case I'm changing this review of my own volition, I still love the Hard Rock but it'll be a while before I'm back.   All things considered, they still have the best (poker) games around.  Good luck!

One of my least favorite casinos in the country.  Seems to cater to smokers.  There is a non-smoking table area but it's super-BRIGHT compared to the rest of the casino.  Why?  Seems not to cater to drinkers: there is always a shortage of cocktail waitresses: it's almost as if they want you to have to buy drinks...?

They also take a higher rake in the poker room than I'm used to.  Table minimums are usually quite high ($20+ in the evenings)

The dealers here do tend to be very professional.  Especially since they have to keep up with all the "Match the Dealer" nonsense bets.  And at least they still pay 3-2 on blackjack.  No craps tables.

Just one of my favorite places that I have the pleasure to live 5 minutes from! I just recently started to enjoy gambling (I blame my granny) and the hard rock is really the only upscale casino with a sexy feel to it.

I have gambled here, partied here, ate here, and lodged here.

Gambling- I stick to the roulette on the slots and also the real roulette (Well sorta real). The roulette is digital but still has a real wheel covered by a clear dome. Good enough for me. $10 limit on this one and the slot roulette can be as little as 25 cents. My granny and I play some random penny slots as they have a great variety.

Partying- Murphy's law is my favorite Irish pub to dance at, always with a live band and some interesting older and younger mixed crowd dancing. Wet willies is across the street for a headache from all the sugar and a brain freeze. Probably yummy on a hot day, not at night. Passions is what holds the younger crowd here. Please don't come here if your older than 30, you will not have a good time. Lots of underaged, wasted, and foreigners ready to get their Miami fix while not in Miami.

Foooood!- blue plate is open 24 hours and is decent food at a decent price. Hardrock cafe is open until around 11 which I enjoy. They have a $4 appetizer happy hour as well 4-7 I think. Food court is a wannabe mall food court but it's doable. Overpriced but doable. Outside there is tequila ranch ( previously reviewed), montarados, and hooters. Everything is pricey except blue plate and hooters, so be ready!

Hotel- my grandma gets compted rooms here all the time so I stay with her in them. They are nice, but no where near what they are priced at for. I decided to buy a room on a Friday night for my 21st birthday for $500. I was young and nieve, cause I would never pay this amount for this little room again! It should have been around 200 or under. The pool is where I hang out when I stay here and I enjoy the hot tub and the little water slide. Pool is only three to four feet deep so if your looking for a real swim, this isn't the place.

I only docked 1 star for the overpricing of everything when the location (441 in Hollywood) is not the best. In fact there is nothing around here.. Don't lose too much $$$!

Awesome place but please beware that you CANNOT take any kind of pictures whatsoever in this place! Being that I live in Vegas it's nothing out of the ordinary to be able to take pictures inside of the casinos by the slot machines just as long as you're not at the tables.. NOT here! The security had a damn fit when I first arrived as I was coming down the escalator I pulled my phone out to take a pic for Instagram and low and behold I was stopped like a criminal with a nice warning like "sir you cannot take pictures put your phone away please" I was a bit caught off guard but did as I was told because I have manners and respect the rules. Any Who the facility is amazing and a bit bigger than the property we have in Las Vegas! The blackjack dealers were awesome! Although the cocktail waitress was slow and we lost an unmentioned amount of money all in all it was a great experience! Hope to return!

Love this joint and have been patronizing it since Day One. Here's why:
* Nearby
* Big
* Close
* Clean
* Lots of bars, and restaurants, and nightclubs, and shopping, and gambling, and a comedy club
* Hotties abound, excellent people watching
* Great events like concerts and UFC Fights and such
* Good energy

I don't like how the prices for the hotel rooms have changed, but I forgive them based on supply and demand.

What else you need? Cabeza OUT!

Are you feeling lucky?! No? Great because you're probably leaving all of your money in the casino anyway.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is an entertainment destination in of itself. Yes, there is the casino and HUGE concert venue, but there are restaurants and shops galore to explore. Just know, not all of the outdoor bars actually serve food.

Me mates and I checked out the Hard Rock restaurant inside. Typical food you'd expect for a chain restaurant and nice, friendly service. But, BOY! WAS IT LOUD IN THERE! My gnome head was given a good knocking from the loud BeeGees blaring.

This is a cool spot to check out but still not sure why people were bringing their kids here. If I was 7 I would be bored out of my mind. Come and play with the adults, but leave the kids at home.

So apparently it's ok to spend hundreds of dollars in their casino, but if you want to have a cup of java outside, on a lounge chair by their huge pool, for 15 minutes, when it's completely empty, no can do. I can't believe I was kicked out because I am not stupid enough to spend $350 a night here!
Oh, and it was Dre who asked me to leave. Thanks a lot, Dre.

I come here for poker and that's about it.
The poker room use to be in the main casino but they made a separate facility just for the game. The best part is that there is No Smoking! The hotel and casino are clean and has rock and roll memorabilia all over the place.
This place has several restaurant's, bars, and a club. Also has a facility for concerts and where comedians  perform. They have several parking garages and valet parking. The casino and poker room have waitresses going around taking orders for food and drinks.

I'm not a big gambler, but I've been to Hard Rock quite a few times. They offer way more than gambling with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment (concerts, comedy shows, etc.).

If you are interested strictly in gambling there are  two ways to look at it. On the one hand there are the slot machines. In that aspect this casino is a little too large for me, and it's very easy to get lost in the sea of slots. Also, given the touristy location they're not really offering too many incentives to play, I really get the feeling they just want to take your money. Would it really be that bad to throw out $5 of free play every once in awhile? Also when I won some money on the slot machine I then had to wait in a very long cashier line to collect my money. It was a Saturday night in prime tourist season and they only had two of the eight or so cashiers open...it reminded me of Walmart.

On the other side of things my boyfriend likes the poker room here. He feels like in general he can do well taking tourists money after they've had a few drinks at the many bars in the area. There is also a high hand winning situation that I don't really understand, but they do it every half hour, and if you hit it, it's a nice win. I will say though that the few times I have been in with him there is a wait time to get a seat at the poker tables, granted this has been at prime times, but I know this isn't the case at the smaller casinos in the area. He also has mentioned that at other large casinos it is not uncommon for him or one of his friends to be comped dinner or a room after a night of poker, but this never happens at the Hard Rock, they just have a different business model and different priorities, I guess they just don't need to do it.

This is a good place to do everything in one night. Dinner, a show, shopping, entertainment, it's all here. It gets a little too crowded for my liking, and the drinks are a little expensive, so I'm not ever dying to come here. If it were entirely up to me I would definitely pick one of the smaller casinos in the area, but they're not as flashy and don't have as much to do aside from gambling.

I didn't stay at the hotel but only went to the casino - after having dinner in the restaurant.  We were there last month, December, and it was really nicely decorated with some big Christmas trees decorated with guitars, one of them anyway.  Outside in the "village" there were more trees that were decorated by different organizations.  The big red Christmas balls that were spotted around the casino and also outside, were really cool too.

I'm not a gambler but did throw a few bucks into the slot machines and I would like to say that I won but I didn't.  Lots of people there, more than the other local casinos that I visited and compared to a couple others, this one was by far the best.

They also had a nice HRC shop.

So much entertainment and plenty of parking.Huge casino ads that are on giant screens like in Vegas.

Fun shops to browse, comfy modern Hotel rooms, pretty pool with waterfall and Sandy shore.

Plenty of restaurants from High end to a Pub, food court, to Hooters. Even the room service I've had from a poker table had one of the best Steaks and Mashed Potatoes, so good!

Great clubs that have been hot for years. I fell for my husband at my friends Birthday celebration at a restaurant then a club here.

I've seen some concerts here before too, a more intimate venu, the divider on the main floor has the audio control and lights? Either way it's a pain to be stuck watching behind.

I recommend checking this place out even if you visit Ft Lauderdale on vacation, or even for Miami the HR is a Fun getaway and change of pace.

Fun place to be at during the holidays, great decorations, I love the poinsettias planted in the ground on the highway entrance to Hard Rock.

We went here this past January for my bachelorette party and we had an amazing time! The whole place was clean and had a lot to accommodate the 15 girls that we had in our party.  The outdoor pool with the waterfall was beautiful and we had great drink and food service at the pool.  The rooms were a decent size and the clubs were a lot of fun!

I always enjoy my time at the Hard Rock. From fine dining, enjoying a live band or comedy act, to placing a bet on your favorite slot or table game, there is something here for everyone. I really like the hotel and resort, especially the pool and waterfall.

Time for some gambling.

I love that the smell of cigaret is not STRONG here.

They have a great bar, lots of machines, good food. Lots of fun.

Good service and lots of great restaurants outside the casino as well. We did mexican one today. It was great.

We found ourselves at the Hard Rock last night. We had gone to an early movie and didn't want to go home so i thought we could spend a few hours losing, money...lol
Anyway,  we played  so late we booked a room and stayed over night rather than try to drive home. It's been a while since we were here and i forgot just how much fun this place is!
The rooms are spectacular and the staff is too. The casino has so much energy at night, especially on the weekend!
Great food, great music, awesome drinks and if you like "people watching" this place is the best.
We even managed to win a couple bucks playing blackjack!
So, I write this review sitting by the pool, drinking a frozen margarita, wondering why its been so long since we were last here...Place is a giant playground for adults! I Love it...

Cool casino. I personally don't gamble but I like coming to this Casino because they offer more than just gambling.

They have multiple restaurants and boutique stores for shopping, wet willies and many other entertainment options.

You must visit their pool and  rent a cabana, spend a whole day just relaxing with family or friends.

If you visit guest services inside the casino they give you a food voucher if you register with them.

Drinks inside the casino are very well priced, I ordered 3 Piña Coladas and 1 beer, all for $25. Although the Piña coladas could have been better.

There is not really much to do after 10pm, most restaurants, shops and entertainment close around this time, although the casino stays open 24 hours.

Parking is Free and there is a lot of cool stuff to see.

I recommend visiting on Fridays and Saturday nights when the vibe is live.
