Rooms smell like disinfectant and rooms are barren. You can feel the springs in the bed and the rates aren't worth it. The only redeeming quality is the helpful nature of the service- excellent front desk workers who are knowledgeable and really try to get you the best rate.

Pretty average. Decent price. Small pool. Breakfast was here to be eaten but not so much enjoyed. The food was cleared away promptly at 9:30. It's isolated if you don't have a car. I good place if you are just using the room to sleep in.

I stayed here for one reason and one reason only: it was cheap.  The old phrase "you pay for what you get" holds true.  It was in a decent location for me because it was close to where I was doing some work, but when I go back I'm staying somewhere else.

Check-in was painless and the front desk guy was nice and knowledgeable about the area.  The room on the other hand was pretty crappy.  I got a smoke-free room.  I was a little shocked that the entire hotel wasn't smoke-free.  The décor was outdated and the bed was uncomfortable.  I don't know why all the hotels are using these little pillows now.  Instead of having two normal sized pillows on each bed, they have four small pillows per bed.  I don't like that.

The TV reception was poor.  It had about 20 channels to choose from, but they were all slightly fuzzy and the TV was old.  The AC worked well and so did the iron.  I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms, so the sound proofing was decent.

The continental breakfast was pretty lame.  It is held in a tiny dining room with about 10 tables.  The food is cooked and set out in serving trays.  It is not placed in warming trays, so it will sit there and get cold.  There is a microwave in there, so I believe the guests are expected to reheat the food after dishing it up.  This is a pain because the microwave is right next to a table and it blocks traffic.

For the price it was hard to beat. Thank God for Hotwire. Front desk was GREAT. (Go Noles). I can't remember his name but I noticed the Seminole pin on his shirt and said "it's great to know I'm not the only one in the city" and he said he would give me the Seminole hook up! On top of that there were signs posted saying they were 95% non smoking. Got off the elevator and onto our floor and I smelled ?!? I just assumed it was old smoke? But was extremely thankful that we had a non-smoking room. SO I still have no idea what the smell was but after a few days I forgot all about it. (Even if you are a smoker - NO ONE wants a smoking room.)

The rooms were a good size with a pool view (not much of a pool) but there was a fridge but no microwave. Then there was the old school big box TV which would have been just fine if the picture quality wasn't so bad. It looked like I was watching a movie from the 80's. Then there was the curtain that was broken BUT the bed was great. The bed was like a bubble bath with nice dark chocolate and champagne. I slept in a way that felt sinful in that bed. I refused to guess how many people have left in it before me I just hope they had as good of an experience as I did. Bathrooms a little awkwardly placed?

So the hotel says they have a "continental breakfast." Nastiest thing in the world. Eggs that tasted like Styrofoam. (SO SERIOUS). Cereal, mini muffins, dry waffles, juice, and coffee. I think that was about it. They could have saved the food and just lowered the cost of the rooms by $1. So we headed to Waffle House the 2nd morning.

But it all not a bad hotel.

This hotel is completely and totally... Fine. It's pretty unremarkable in every way - which is both good and bad. It's clean enough, the beds are fine and the staff was very predictable and normal. It's a bit out of the way and the breakfast was barely edible - even for a 2 star hotel breakfast. That's my only real complaint. There is nothing special here but nothing to rally my rage against either. It's mad cheap though, so go through Priceline and save some Ching-Ching...

Go somewhere else. We have stayed at this place three times on our way to vacation. This place is showing it's age and is in disrepair with no work being done to improve it year over year. Last time we went to check in the servers were down and had to wait over a half hour with no compensation offered. Every time we come here there is not enough luggage carts and you have to wait a long time to get one.
The rooms need a big overhaul. The carpets are stained, floor tiles are cracked, doors hinges are rusted and noisy, poor selection of TV channels, poor lighting, beds and linen suck.
The breakfast area is a disaster. It is very small and poorly set up.
I am done with this place and will not return. We were suppose to stay on our way back home but cancelled and stayed in a much better place.

Nice and clean on the outside and in the lobby.  Not so much on the room.  AC didn't work very well.  Pillows were terrible.  I would not recommend.

I stayed here during their construction time and had a good overall experience, clean rooms, classy setting and smiling staff. It was a little noisy but that's something you cannot control during construction. I look forward to revisiting the newly renovated Best Western.

I was supposed to stay here for 3 nights during memorial day weekend but left after the 2nd night. I really tried to keep an open mind here but this hotel was gross.

First they gave us a room that was supposedly non-smoking but it smelled like a fresh cigarette. We asked for a new room which they gave us right away, explaining that the floor we were on was sandwiched between smoking floors. Well the new room they gave us didn't smell smokey but it certainly had its own funky smell. We decided it was no big deal and didn't feel like complaining again.

Eventually I noticed how yucky the new room was though, the bathroom was rusty looking and my husband felt it was pretty unsanitary. The carpet was so gross and muggy, in one spot it was noticeably wet! Like a puddle. After stepping in that I didn't want to take off my shoes at all.

We noticed the funky smell started to change, it kept getting worse and by the 3rd night it smelled completely rancid. Which is what prompted us to leave so abruptly. My husband and my 6 month old son were coughing and so congested they couldn't breathe properly, non of us were getting sleep! We did try switching rooms again but they were all booked. At the least they did refund our money for that last night.

The full breakfast was disappointing. Food was pretty unappetizing and there wasn't much selection. The coffee sucked.

Also I don't know what was wrong with there elevator. It was not only slow but disobedient. This computer had a mind of its own, I swear. It would just open up wherever it wanted to and not on command. I think I sat watching it go up and down past my floor like 3-4 times before I couldn't take it anymore and took the stairs! Plus it came pretty close to closing on me at one point.

Clean room, but what I enjoyed most about this hotel is the staff. The staff here is so nice, I wish I remember some of their names to list them here. Their friendly and attentive, I had left some stuff in the room and they let me in the following day to pick it up. If I am ever back in the area will definitely be staying here again.

If you like the incessant noise of jackhammers, then this is the place for you. Plenty of other hotels in the vicinity.

Modern building with clean rooms in good condition.  AT check-in I was not asked if I wanted a room with two beds.  I forgot to ask.  Got to room, it was a bit small with only one bed.  I was told they didn't have any more rooms with 2 beds.

WiFi signal was very fast.  Desk Had multiple power outlets.  Clearly good things for business traveler.

Room had no "Do not disturb" sign.

Got to breakfast toward the end.  OJ was watery.  Coffee was weak.  No cream.  No whole milk.  No bagels.  No English muffins.  Not sure what they had at the start.

In an isolated area with only other hotels nearby.  Nothing you can walk to.  No restaurant in building.

Yuck. My nonsmoking room, even though surrounded by nonsmoking rooms as well still reeked of smoke in the bathroom in the mornings and evenings. It was so strong that it gave me headaches. I recommend that nonsmokers DO NOT book here.

The front desk lady is a sweetheart and the hotel itself is quite nice. The hotel should really take a page out of other chains books and switch to an entirely nonsmoking hotel. This is the only reason for the lower rating.

Take a trip back to the nineties! This hotel needs a definite makeover. What I will start out with saying though is that the staff is very nice and professional. It was the first time I received a phone call to my room asking me if everything was acceptable; however, service can only do so much for an outdated and old-minded establishment.

The other reviews here are correct in stating that this hotel still has smoking vs. non-smoking rooms. I opted for non-smoking and we didn't have any of the cigarette smelling issues the other posters had. Yet, that's about all I can say for the rooms.

From the stained dingy green carpets to the nineties headboards and 'mod-contemporary' art for that time period, these rooms do not generate any sighs of relief after a long days drive (check out the images I've attached).

Your bathroom will have the bare amenities, along with your antiquated chipped nineties tub. Everything is thin, from your towels, to your carpet, to your sheets. And though you won't find any (because the dated flourescent lights probably keep them away), you'll be wondering where the buggies are hiding.

I was surprised that this hotel had a three star rating, though, after checking the hotel rating system, I see that they barely scrounged by.

They advertise a workout room that has your basic weight machine and cardio equipment, but one look at the sweat covered machines, dusty carpet, and bare walls may scare you away.

All in all, you get what you pay for. If you need a cheap place to stay for one night and don't care about the room, feel free to stay at this place. D&B's down the road for some mild entertainment. Don't think you're getting a steal though for a three-star hotel. This place barely cuts it.

If you do happen to find yourself at this time machine back to the nineties and are in need of some grub, check out Thai Spice Kitchen. It's 8 minutes away and some of the best Thai food you'll ever get for cheap. Two can easily eat under $25.

I stayed here this past weekend, let me tell you, what a disappointment. The room was clean but when I went to make coffee in the morning, the coffee maker was still dirty from the previous guest. I decided to get some coffee downstairs and wasn't good for the first cup, second cup apparently the machine didn't have anymore coffee. Breakfast is included with the stay and the hours of operation was from 7am-9:30. My boyfriend and I arrived at 9am one morning and 8:40 the other morning and there was nothing. Only thing left was grits and bread, I'm surprised there wasn't an employee to constantly be checking the breakfast room. I ended up spending money on breakfast anyway. I specifically chose this hotel for the free breakfast to try to save some money. Moving on from food, one of the key cards that was given to me wasn't programmed correctly, when I tried to enter the hotel past 1am I couldn't get in. I had to wait for an employee to open the door for me. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay. I won't be staying in a Best Western again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Stayed there this weekend. Rooms might have been updated since some of the previous posts, but the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and I am a little snobby when it comes to hotel rooms, lol.

Breakfast was rather blah, however. The "scrambled eggs" that the front desk told us about were not scrambled really, but just an egg "patty" that looked like it had been around a while. No bacon (horrors!), just sausage, gray gravy to accompany, dry biscuits, some yogurt and fresh fruit to round it out. I went to Waffle House after that.

Each night when we would return, we parked in the back lot. Many times there were multiple smokers crowding the rear entrance, so you had to weave your way through a bunch of second hand smoke, yuck. Not sure why they don't put up signs saying not to smoke so close, but oh well.

On a side street, but there is a Dave and Buster's just down the way. If D&B is not your style, then you do have to jump in the car to find something more entertaining.
