Very close to the airport and not far from downtown.  Lots of restaurants in the vicinity.  Staff was friendly.  Outside looks scary, big fence surrounding property, poor landscaping.  This is not a hotel it is a motel, the room doors open to the outdoors.  The room door when closed has large gaps around it letting light, air, and lots of noise in.  When asked to change rooms because of the noise and cold, was told that this was typical.  Inside the room the carpet is dinghy but the furnishings are nice although the bed sucks, my back hurt from the bed.  Thin walls allow you to hear other guests.  Bathroom has granite, which was a surprise.  Fridge and microwave where not plugged in and the furniture was too heavy to move to get to the plugs.  Remote stopped working on the second day.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sure it is right next to the airport.  STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

We got hives (an allergic reaction on our skin) from the linins and towels.   There is water damage on the popcorn ceiling.  Every of the 30 or so Best Westerns I've stay in since 2006 has had white duvet covers, with clean comforters. This place has a nasty brown blanket.
I usually stay at Best Westerns, because they have been a reliable source for my needs and wants when I am traveling.  THIS PARTICULAR BEST WESTERN SUCKS.

I made a complaint to BW corporate.   They gave my phone number to the owner of the Jacksonville Airport Best Western.  I received a harassing phone call from the owner right as I got of  my plane in California.   He identified himself as Mr. Grant.  He seemed less concerned about my needs, wants, and bad experience.  He was demanding, defensive, and totally argumentative.   He was angry at me, for complaining about "his hotel"   DON'T STAY HERE, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not bad at all , the breakfast was not the greatest but it was free. It's a bit loud because of the large jets flying above. With it having a clean reputation that is what makes up for everything else.

Not one who is picky and I only stated one night but would stay longer next time. I had a car but it offers a shuttle, is near restaurants, public transportation, and shopping.
It has free breakfast in the morning, offers a paper, fridge and microwave in the room, and friendly staff. What else can you ask for?
I travel often and always look for amenities and a good deal. It is more of a motel than a hotel but I didn't feel unsafe. There is a computer in the lobby for those who don't lug your computer everywhere.
I've stayed at other locations in the area and most offer the same things but as long as the staff is friendly, I'd come back again.

The first two nights were pretty good. Fairly standard rooms with minimally common amenities and general cleanliness.

The third night, I had to switch rooms. That's when things went down hill. I got woken up suddenly at 2:30am by what sounded like someone trying to break into my room. After I sprung out of bed, I come to realize that someone next door was aggressively trying to get into their room. It soon became clear to me that the entry door to the rooms barely seal. For the next hour I listened to a group of guys loudly converse and I had to smell the stench of cigarette smoke wafting into my room until I finally called the front desk to quiet and clear the mayhem outside my door. Luckily, within 15 minutes the commotion was cleared, but then I had to lie wide awake in bed (which frankly blows) and struggle to fall back asleep.

All in all, hotel is 'okay', but you get what you pay for. Don't have high expectations of this place, you'll only be let down.

Although $60/night can be attractive, it also attracts the riff-raff.

Tired from flying all day a great place to get good rest and up in your feet. Friendly atmosphere, beautiful and clean. Complimentary breakfast always a plus. Love the heated pool. Four star

This review is based on my experience and expectations. The price is unbeatable!... But with that you LITERALLY get what you pay for! The reason I booked a reservation here was because they are pet friendly (the fee is $20 a night) and because of the location..... And the price. Never again! My first complaint was that the room door doesn't close all the way, letting in noise, outside air (heat and cigarette smoke) and most gross, BUGS! In massive numbers (like 10 too many)! I love that they have a gated dog area located inside the pool area, but I hated pretty much everything else.

Also ladies as an informative piece of information, the rooms are outside (walk up access.) And the killer could be watching! Another thing I hated. I have now moved to another hotel up the street for the rest of my stay.

I can now check "unexpected fear factor challenge" off of my bucket list!

A bit hard to find.  We blithely put the hotel's address into our GPS, and it took us to a point in the airport industrial park.  No Best Western around.

The little map in the Best Western directory was no help from there, either.

So, for plan C, I looked under accommodations in the GPS.  This hotel was listed in it, so I pressed that, and this time it correctly took us to the hotel.

This is a typical standard Best Western.  Actually, it is a bit above average.  They do have hot eggs and sausage for breakfast.

It is still an older motel, with all rooms opening to the outside.

I give 'em a three and a half.
