Have always loved Marriott but this one is one of the top ones.  Vicky at the front desk and the shuttle driver Tony are super helpful and made our stay a great experience!  Definitely will come back!  Thank you Vicky and Tony!

Five stars based upon the service from Leonard at the front desk.  I have to travel frequently for work and often stay at Marriott properties, and many many courtyards, but the service here was the BEST.

Leonard is the guy that I wish the rest of Marriott would learn from.  Total class act.

Stay here without hesitation, nice property, convenient restaurant choices, close to JAX.  And I hope you get to interact with the best front desk guy I have ever met.

THANKS LEONARD, I hope you get the same great service everywhere you visit as I got from you.

We scheduled a conference room here to get away from the office and work on a project.  The hotel lobby and conference room were very well equipped and updated.  The staff was super nice and willing to help us in any way we needed.

Since we weren't staying here, I didn't see any of the actual rooms, but if they are anything like the conference room I'm sure they are clean and very comfortable.

I am Marriott's biggest fan. I own a timeshare with them, go out of my way to stay at Marriott's when traveling for business and speak incredibly highly of them. I even ordered their pillows! However after this experience with them wanting to charge me $250 for a smoking fee...when I don't smoke is ludicrous. The night prior I asked for matches..for a completely separate thing that had nothing to do with smoking...the morning I check out they add a $250 "smoking" fee. Physically I can not smoke and I've NEVER bought a pack of cigarets in my life. I checked in at 11pm, completely congested from the flight and couldn't "smell" anything in the room. After leaving at 8am they tell me I smoked in the room. Hello. I don't smoke. I am working to end my timeshare and stay at equally nice places. In the area stay at the Hyatt Place. Shame on you Marriott.

Booked hotel for its rate and near he airport for a meeting. Usually not a Marriott guy on my travels but the rate was good.

First impression was good at check  in very pleasant and nice and even looked up my number for rewards.

The room at first glance was clean and normal but then a couple dominos fell. Very low quality  linens and blankets, shorted top sheet no trash can under the desk and the worst, blood in the shower. Btw the sink did not drain well.

Needless to say I won't be back. Sticking to Starwood !!

If you have to be stuck in Jacksonville unexpectedly for a couple days (don't ask, it involved fainting on an airplane and a snowstorm in the northeast) this is an excellent hotel to get stuck in.

The front desk folks were really lovely and helped me find a nearby Denny's that would have chicken soup. They checked up on my sick partner every time I went downstairs to get coffee or to the store down the block.

The rooms were nice - altho I think the bed was a bit hard but I'm used to my pillow top mattress. We did not have a room with a balcony but the balconies looked nice and there were a bunch of them.

The amenities smelled good. The food from the Bistro was good and the wine was decent (it's Florida, not Napa for goodness sake).

The housekeeping staff was super helpful and brought us extra glasses and a toothbrush when I realized mine was missing.

It was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. We did use the hot tub which was spotless and just the right temperature.

There's not anything really touristy around the hotel that I could see (we didn't have a car) but there was a movie theater and strip mall a couple miles away. The hotel shuttle will even drop you off there and pick you back up when you're done so you don't have to call a taxi! That's service.

Thanks Jacksonville Airport Courtyard for turning the awful experience of seeing my partner faint on a plane and turning it into a 3 day lounge fest and bad tv binge :)
