Nice rooms, great staff, nice pool. Convenient quiet location. Food's good. Nice lounge for the Marriott rewards folks.

Stayed here a few times. Rooms are ok...they seem old.
the restaurant did not have much for vegetarians (except salads). Salads are not a meal...they are eaten prior to a meal. I cant get my nutrition by eating leaves...especially lettuce.
Anyways, the hotel is in a complex where there are a number of other hotels. you need a rental car or taxi to get here from the airport, which is quite far away.

Hotel is OK, no problem. I'll come back again. I became a bit miffed at the concierge who steered us to a poor choice for dinner because of his incentive arrangement with the restaurant (I suspect.) This left me with an overall negative impression, though it certainly was not a bad recommendation, just not what we had in mind. Should have relied on Yelp instead, but sometimes its late and you get tired of having to look everything up. So, got what I deserved in this case!

I've attended several Special Events at this Hotel. Their main ballroom is very large and the food and service was very good. The parking lot is very large and it's easy to get to off of Salisbury Road. The rooms are clean.

Used this hotel as it was the host hotel for a function we attended on a weekend. Check in was fast, room was spacious, bedding comfortable, bathroom adequate size, room was clean, no noise, staff friendly. The bartenders in the lobby were great. Ate breakfast & lunch in their bistro & service & food were top notch. Parking was ample too. There is a Dave & Busters within walking distance (2 blocks). We didn't venture out during our stay, but it seems close to most things--good location. Would use this hotel again.

For the price I did not expect that this hotel was going to offer what it did. Room service, indoor pool and onsite restaurant.  Will continue to stay here in the future if I'm looking for a quick stop in jax.

I have never stayed at the room but have had meetings here.  Staff is very professional, prompt and quick.  Even though the hotel is huge, it's not hard to find the help you need when you need it.

I never have any issues with set up or with anything being done well in a timely manner here.

Conference center staff were great and the overall staff were great as well. Not much to this hotel and those facilities were a bit outdated. However they had great rooms that were nice and up-to-date. For the offerings in the area, this hotel hit the mark.

Once again - I will say it - Dear Marriott, you should not have to pay for wireless!!!!!

Like everyone stated, the staff here is awesome. My little girl had her birthday when we got there.  Once the staff found out, they showered her over and over with treats and gifts. Everyday was good morning Mr. Lee, how are you today, can we help you with anything. I am a Marriott person thru and thru. I gave bad reviews to some high end marriott hotel. This staff should be awarded by Marriott for beat service in the worth shape hotel in the marriott family. Management really need to update the place!

Beautiful hotel, exceeded expectations! We stayed here for three nights and loved every second. Beds are comfortable yet provide good support. Wifi was free and reliable. Indoor and outdoor pools were well maintained and fun to play and swim in. Fitness area has treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, and exercise bald of varying sizes. Room service breakfast was tasty and fresh. If you need more affordable breakfast options, Waffle House and Cracker Barrel are close by. This hotel is quiet but provides good access to beaches and all of Jax since it is close to major arteries. Loved the full bar and restaurant, with outdoor seating.

The place is riding the goodwill of its stellar employees.  Without them, the place would need to be shut down.  A complete ---and total---remodel is sorely needed at this location.  It is clear that the ownership has spent next to nothing on the place in years. Outdated as hell, hasn't had a good coat of paint even.  Only reason for two stars is the five star employees.  Come on owners...give this great team a facility to be proud of.

Posted our stay back in the summer.  The 5 stars go to the staff at this hotel!!!!  Awesome from the time i walked in to the time I left.  Everyone is happy to be there!!  If you have not been to this hotel, you need to.  The hotel itself needs work.  From July to now, I can see the changes.  Still more is needed.  But, Staff is just awesome!!!!!

I was very impressed with this property. Check in was super speedy, staff extremely friendly and the room very tidy-all the furnishings looked and felt brand new but overall that bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on.  Way more comfortable than the Sheraton and the Crown.

The bar staff is a friendly and very accommodating team. I was having a late night craving and didn't want have hot wings or a quesadilla or fries so when I asked for something off the menu, my bar tender was super eager to help. She ended up frapping me up a banana, pineapple, blueberry and 2% milk smoothie. It was exactly what I needed to settle my hunger pangs for the night.

I will be checking in here again real soon.

I've stayed here many times. It is a fine hotel, but age is taking its due on the property. I doubt it has ever been remodeled, my best estimate is that it was built in the late 70's-early 80's.

The staff is polite and helpful.

The gym has a great selection of equipment.

As a platinum member I grade hard on the concierge room. This one is very low quality. No meats for breakfast, only eggs and oatmeal. This Marriott is no longer providing bottled water, one of the largest benefits to me personally. Does not offer Starbucks coffee where all most all other Marriott's do.

Called and booked a reservation at 10:00 pm for (2) rooms, had to cancel the reservation, and called back at 11:30 pm the same night.  

Was told they booked (3) rooms in my name and that all (3) rooms were subject to a late cancellation fine, as their policy stated such fines would occur after 6:00 pm.  This policy was not relayed over the phone, before the reservation was made.  Seems like important information to pass.

After some debate with a customer service representative, who spoke to the manager; I was told that (2) rooms would not be charged a fine, but (1) would "have to be charged" as the manager "didn't want to get in trouble for canceling (3) without a fine," and that, "the policy's the policy."

Super nice!!! Clean rooms!!!
Nice beds super comfy. Front desk super nice. I'm here for work and was super tired and they got me all set to go in my room.
If I come back to Jacksonville I will stay here for sure!

I walked in and was immediately impressed by the interior design. They have their bar right in front as you walk in the main entrance, along with free citrus water and mint cucumber water right as you walk in.

The staff is very courteous and their customer service is top notch.

I came here for a business meeting and was impressed by the cleanliness of the hallways, bathroom and the conference room. The outdoor pool is absolutely GORGEOUS! I wanted to jump right in for a night swim after my meeting, but that might have been a bit unprofessional... but that is how inviting the pool looked.

Overall, I haven't stay in any of the rooms, but if you're looking for somewhere to have a business function, this is a great place to do it.

Man at front desk laughed at me when I told him I had a reservation because he said their rooms were full! Also said that since it was past midnight there was no way that the reservation line could make me a reservation for the night before; turns out my reservation was legit and that they turned me away with a one-year-old child at 2 AM and with no place to stay. Every place nearby was full and my family and I drove for hours before being able to check in someplace. The only person willing to help us find a place was a lady at the front desk of the Holiday Inn. Sad that we've been Marriott rewards customers for so long and not one Marriott worker tried to help us in anyway.

Service in this hotel is outstanding! Staff truly cares about guest needs. Rooms are clean, spacious and up to date. Two pools indoor and outdoor. Fitness center has plenty of different equipment. If your in the area would certainly recommend this hotel.
