Stayed here my first night in Jacksonville.  The hotel seems pretty new (especially having stayed at the Fairfield on my way out), is still in good repair.  Due to my late hour of arrival I really really wished they had some sort of in-house restaurant, but made due nicely with their little market place.

Breakfast in the morning is delicious!  I have no shame in admitting I stashed a fat handful of biscuits for my lunch later in the day.

We are traveling around the US and I am handicapped.  Made reservation here last week for handicapped room.  Arrived last night to find the "handicapped room" only works if your blind and/or deaf.  Not for the physically challenged.  Clean enough and layout okay, but if you are physically challenged stay away!

Older hotel. Bathroom was not exactly clean. Very loud, you can hear everything-- from cars in the parking lot, people outside the building, people in the halls .... Outlets were not exactly convenient locations.

The staff is nice enough but i wouldn't stay again. The room was pretty bad.....bed HORRIBLY uncomfortable and room wasn't clean. Furthermore l,they recommend ordering delivery from Boston's-DON'T  do it. Staff os rude and unprofessional.

I was here on business, a short trip in and out of Jacksonville and this was the only hotel with availability in the Marriott chain nearby. The hotel is very dated-- there are much newer hotels at the same rates as this hotel. The room was not exactly clean-- the bathrooms had pink mold around the drains and the grout in the bathroom was a little scary. There were not any available outlets near the bed for charging my phone while I slept.

If there are other hotel options for you- I'd take them. Wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are also very noisy... You can hear people in the hall as if they were right next to you. Not to mention the noise in the parking lot.

Aside from the cleanliness and dated issues-- the woman at the front desk was VERY pleasant and outgoing. So there is a plus...

The front desk staff here went above and beyond to make me feel at home and relaxed during a stressful time. Everyone down to the breakfast attendant were committed to making me feel better and improving my experience in Florida. They were fantastic!

The property itself is on the older side. The building is a bit used and this can be seen in the rooms. Older bathrooms and walks. This is hidden by the updated lobby and furniture but the bathroom of my room was a bit malfunctioning which was a small hassle to my stay. The elevator is older as well. But again the staff was fantastic.

If I were staying by the airport for an extended period of time, I would stay here again. However, for a short stay, I would prefer the Springhill Suites across the street.
