Be aware that public areas and guest rooms on the first floor are under renovation.  You have to walk through construction areas to get to the dining room and to the parking lot.  It smells like paint and adhesive.  We had problems with plumbing and fireplace not working in the room (333).

Not nearly as nice as the sheraton next door. Frankly, it's more expensive most of the time as well.
They do provide decent snacks, for free, like all other residence inns.
However, the rooms are not nearly as big or clean. I found all kinds of hair on the bed when I first arrived. It's down right disgusting!

Good price, nothing to really set it apart from other suite hotels. Friendly maid. No room service other than an expensive 3rd party catering service with limited hours.

I stayed at this property for roughly 7 months from October - May 1st week. I had never experienced any issues at all with this property and that is why I remained a guest and not get an apartment. I often would stay checked in while I traveled to other states for business and would have multiple reservations at various Marriotts as I traveled 90%; my home base is in Manhattan, NY.

I left for vacation the last week of April to the Dominican and I stayed checked in as usual and hid all of my valuables in the bottom of a bag filled with socks and underclothes. My rolex, diamond watch, cartier, tiffany, gucci, yurman......everything was stolen out of my room. Whomever came in there wiped me out of lifelong aquired possessions. Police report was filed along with a crime scene investigation for fingerprinting and the hotel would not disclose to me who accessed my room. Very unprofessional and shady business. I spent $4000.00 per month at this hotel and I got nothing....not a letter of apology...their insurance company is protected by Florida laws...so no insurance and lastly not even any additional reward points.

I am Platinum Member with Marriott and I have never ever thought this behavior would happen. My company has since stopped placing our executives at this property.

This is Franchise Property so they do not uphold the experience of what Mr. Marriott would expect. "REMINGTON HOTELS'

I suggest you pick another hotel that is owned by the Marriott Family or choose Hilton.

I thought this place was closer to the Town Center than it was.  All in all it was an ok hotel.  The rooms were not bad and fairly clean.  The second day I was there I guess they just decided not to clean the room?  Not sure why, it wasn't the end of the world though.  I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I stayed here almost 6 months and I had no issues at all. Its near to St. Johns Town Center, clean rooms and friendly staff

Room was yucky and in dire need of new carpet and other fixtures. Stains and burn marks in carpet. I should have asked for a different room.  Missing cabinets. So unlike the other Residence Inns I've stayed at. Beds were clean tho!

I definitely think this hotel is worth the price and around the corner from a lot of shopping you can't go wrong.  I had a studio which was a nice size room.  The bed was comfortable.  The bathtub had a little rust on the bottom of it but that didn't stop me from becoming clean. The pool was a nice size along with a hot tub. The free breakfast was a plus!  The room is clean and nice, I would go back.

Stayed here during Easter break on a last minute getaway with a very limited budget. So I wanted a place that served breakfast, could give a room that would accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids using my Marriott Rewards member points. Most locations by the beach were in such high demand that I couldn't use points or rooms were too small so I opted for this location. We checked in late at night and the check in process was so so. I was expecting the worst so was pleasantly surprised rooms were decent. I asked for a roll away bed and it was delivered while we were out to dinner. On Tuesday house keeping came only made the bed and didn't make the roll away bed. On Wednesday house keeping came but did nothing except leave towels and throw a dish and a glass in the dishwasher. On Thursday again only the bed was made no clean towels were left and bathroom was not cleaned so whatever sand the kids brought in from the beach was there when we came back from dinner I was do pissed because I had tipped the cleaning lady knowing the state of the room. On Friday I had enough I complained to the manager who promptly had someone go in clean our room, drop off fresh towels and vacuum all the sand. When I ran into the housekeeping lady she was apologizing profusely in Spanish and from what I could understand basically said she was rushed by management to quickly clean the rooms and didn't have enough time to clean all the rooms. So because of my housekeeping experience this place gets 2 stars but overall it was ok and most of the staff was super friendly so I gave it a 3 star. There's a few guests that are long term guests and they were also very friendly. The property only has two grills and one grill was down so had to share the grill with the regulars. I would suggest they make a schedule for cleaning the gym because as much as our room was barely cleaned the cleaning guy came into the gym  at least 3 times within my hour work out. Its a small room so it was kinda creepy and awkward having him in there while myself and another lady were working out.
