Don't let the cheap remodel or the low room rate fool you. The service at this hotel is absolutely atrocious. By far the worst I've experienced at any Marriott location and I travel 300 days per year

I wish I could right a good review for this new establishment, but as a road warrior.....I have an oath to fellow travelers to keep it real.
The first week I stayed here was fine- I was upgraded from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite. The rooms are VERY nice. Flat screens in every room, individual temperature control central air for every room, and a full kitchen (full size stainless steel fridge and freezer, microwave and flat top stove). The bathroom was my favorite becuase it has a permanent "dim sleep light" that stays on when you turn the regular light off. I love this becuase I hate having to squint in the morning when I wake up becuase the light is too bright. This light is very dim but you can see the whole bathroom.
Week two I was downgraded from a one bedroom suite to a studio becuase they were sold out. I was having a friend over for dinner so this was an inconvienence. The girl at the front desk said she could give me $20 off, but I told her I don't pay the bill, my company does, and after a long day of traveling and living out of a suitecase 3 weeks out the month, something resembling an apartment aka space is what I appreciate. I asked for Marriott points and she said she would have to ask the manager int he morning. Big surprise, I got nothing. I even filled out a comment card about my experience and I did not hear anything back. I hope whoever got my one bedroom was at a higher marriott rewards level than I.
Week three they were sold out again but I got my one bedroom suite. Unfortunatly it was on the first floor, right outside of the pool. And some guy decided he wanted to play his guitar by the pool all night.
Since this is the nicest amenity hotel closest to where I need to be, I continually stay here but I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Traditional town place suites but the customer service was phenomenal! Joshua made my stay. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired but its quiet, clean, and super polite. Will definitely visit again.

This is my first visit with the Marriott chain. We wanted to book a fair priced room that wasn't too far from the beach. The prices right on the beach were pretty ridiculous and considering the weather for this weekend, we didn't want to spend most of the time just watching the rain hit the sand.
The reviews on tripadvisor.com were pretty good so we booked it. At $84 a night, it's worth the price. This location seems to be geared towards people on business trips or extended stays. Our studio came with a very nice kitchen equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and stove top. I was surprised to find pots and pans and dishes. There was a pantry in the kitchen and the other side of it was closet space that could be accessed through a door in the bathroom. My daughter had fun walking through the pantry and into the bathroom.
The desk had a table underneath that could be pulled out ff you had guests or wanted a separate area to eat. We had a nice comfortable sofa bed for our daughter. We had a king size bed for ourselves. Very comfortable. Nice, clean, spacious bathroom.
The hotel has a laundry room and fitness center that has three treadmills and some weights. The free breakfast was decent and filling. There was a waffle maker, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and a few pastries. Fresh fruit would have been awesome. Pool area was nice and equipped with a BBQ grill.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I'm not very picky and this hotel suited our needs for the weekend.

Is it possible to ensure these people are recognized and Hotel facility is outstanding and great.
Person who checked me in -Maurice or not sure if i mispronounce please forgive me i did not get his name fully -he is awesome

he wanted to ask me if he can come and drop the luggage- very nice of him -he offered
he offered to ensure if i like the room, if not he is prepared to change
this is really awesome room similar to two bedroom suite- that was awesome.
he also wanted to ensure i have iron in the room and i should be careful and very nice and thoughtful.
he said anything else do not hesitate- very upbeat and nice
so i thought whatever extra mile we need to tell - i was touched by this young gentleman last night around 11 :45 pm to 12 midnight appx -please check forgot the exact time..
2. The Water -for the shower comes really hot - very quick, nice - normally we have to rotate more in more hotels-this is well maintained shower for hot water bath- i really like it ...it was quick, even though the bath tub is little small for squeezing-very convenient
3. Air condition in the night shoots up very quickly well maintained even inf 65 or 66 if i keep it cools so quickly.
4. Other two people to recognize are
Outstanding front desk Manager lee hazley Ms.Lee Hazley
She is highly positive
She is prepared to smile -very hospitality industry gesture
She is quick to get things done
manage many things on the phone and help out
She went out of the way to get my Coat , Suite and Tie - done -without her help i am not sure how would i go for this particular interview or so.. very very kind gesture.
she also said i can come back and change my dress -on my way home -very accommodative, helpful, nice and courteous
All these people last night, Lee Hazley should never be forgotten for the extra mile they did for me
Same goes with Regina who is very nice person in the front desk
Please ensure all these people are recognized at this hotel to send to upper management

I came across Towneplace suites while looking for a hotel room for my dad and I. Specifically, I wanted separate sleeping quarters. TownePlace offered a cozy and super clean 2-bedroom apartment (complete with kitchen and living area) for what other hotel chains charged for a standard double room. One bedroom had a king bed and the other a queen -- both super comfortable. The living area offered a sleeper sofa and the fully equipped kitchen featured a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Inside the cabinets were plates, saucers, mugs, glasses, and silverware -- all the comforts of home. There were even a flat screen TV in every room.
From the moment I called the staff was friendly and courteous. They reservations agent even offered a medical discount because I was bringing my dad to visit his sister who is in a rehab facility. On arrival, our paperwork was already processed and keys were waiting. It literally took less than 2 minutes to check in. The continental breakfast had all of the fixings to start the day off right and the check out process was seamless.
Can't remember the gentleman's name that checked us in, but Bella (who made our reservation) and Lee (the front office manager) were both very kind. Lee made sure to invite us back again soon.
Their apartment-like setting was an AMAZING alternative to the traditional hotel room. I was so impressed that I joined YELP just to write this review -- seriously! LOL
