Our room was on the back side. No view. In fact, the windows were small and high. I could just see out of the bottom and I'm 5'5". The exterior corridor let us hear every guest as they came and went. Someone on the water view side must have been doing laundry because we could hear what sounded like a belt buckle going round and round for about an hour. Slow elevator. Construction everywhere. On the road. Other hotels.  On the bright side, the room was clean and the bathroom remodeled.

Served its purpose of a place to sleep at night and ability to freshen up from the hot balmy days of Key West.  Didnt expext much more than that. After all its KW, who really comes down to spend time in their rooms!!

Never again. This place was awful. It was a TINY room for $200 a night and one of the cheaper places to stay in Key West. A king size bed, a table, one chair and a huge tv armoire cram into this itty bitty room. The bathroom could use a remodel for sure.

The breakfast was a joke. Having a waffle maker was the only redeeming factor. No hot foods like eggs or meats. Just a bunch of carbs like waffles, toast, muffins and cereal. The breakfast area is also very small and it was very dirty. The staff member refilling items was kinda rude and unfriendly. She acted like we were in her way.

I would not recommend you stay at this old, dirty hotel.

Spend the extra and go to nicer property.  This place is a dump and the front staff is rude.  We gave them a second and third chance they continue to be standoffish.

    Nice TV though.

We booked a two bedroom suite directly from their website.

What drew me to this place was the fact that the suites had a full-sized kitchen and washer/dryer. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishwasher, servingware, utensils and a fridge.

We were extremely surprised to see the size of the suite we booked. The suite had an upstairs area with two bedrooms with a connecting jack and jill bathroom.

The downstairs area had a full bath, a large living room area with two queen futon sofa beds, a large kitchen, washer and dryer, eat-in nook area, balcony with a table for four overlooking the water. I liked how the bathroom downstairs had a lock for the toilet/tub/shower part separate from the sinks and counters. Perfect for a group of girls to primp in the morning!

Between the water and the hotel was a busy high-way but other than that, it was nice to see the water every morning. We saw the sunrise and sunset from opposites sides of the balcony which was a nice touch. My group could always be found eating breakfast on the balcony in the morning enjoying our view. We saw lobster divers too!

The suite was extremely clean. The only downside was the water pressure in the showers and sinks was extremely weak.

The A/C was working great. TVs were not flatscreen but who's watching TV when you are in Key West?

One thing to note was the entire suite had closets EVERYWHERE! Even in the hallways, there were three large closets. I'm wondering how much storage someone would need. I would like to challenge anyone living there to try to fill up all the closets (impossible I would imagine). There was one closet that seemed like a small NY studio (not joking).

Parking is complimentary on site but it gets packed at night looking for a space. I wonder what they do if there are no spots left? Thankfully, we always managed to nab the last few spots available.

You could borrow towels from the front desk to use at the beach.

There is free wi-fi on site which was great! The signal could be spotty at times though.

The pool is small and not a lap-pool. We snuck a peek at non-suite rooms and they are small (like other sites have complained about.)

I would stay here again for the suites. It was nice being able to make your breakfast in the morning. They serve a complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby but we didn't try it out.

All in all, it is far from the action but if you have a car or don't mind splurging for taxis, it's a great place to rest your head. Since the purpose of our trip was not partying, this was perfect for us.
