My husband and I had a wonderful time here for our anniversary. They think of the little things. I love that it is close to the beach.

Stayed at this hotel with my family over the weekend. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, the quality of the restaurant, and overall experience.
The staff, everyone from the valet that greeted us, to the front desk, to the maintenance staff was friendly, helpful, and provided suggestions and recommendations on making our stay better.
I've stayed and many of the big name chain hotels and this type of experience is hard to come by.
It's within a few blocks of the beach, there are so many great restaurants within walking distance, and close to the party atmosphere in in Ocean Road if that's your thing.

Wow! We stayed, (with our dog), again for three nights, just before the new year. The three day stay was really special. Nic, (whom I think is the manager) merits special mention for effortless excellent service and a warm and engaging manner. All the staff were pleasant and attentive. Wine happy hour included board games and appetizers. Staff offered our pup attention and treats. Other guests were fun and interesting. Everyone had a smile and a greeting. Housekeeping arrived within two minutes of our request. Absolutely the best service ever...better than at the five star hotels we've been to. A real gem of a place. The valet service was also outstanding on this trip! Kimpton is a special hotel brand and we are always looking for our next Kimpton now...

Angler's Boutique is one of the best, if not the best, hotels we've ever stayed at.
Good sized room with a nice sized seating area, bamboo floors, one or two small balconies overlooking the courtyard pool, free wi-fi (with Kimpton In-Touch free membership) and free wine and mojitos every afternoon!!
Room had every amenity you could ask for including beach bag with towels, yoga mat, wet bar, turn down service with ice delivery every evening and complimentary bicycles downstairs.
Beds were clean, firm and very comfortable.
Huge glass dispensers of free, fresh lemonade at the bar and poolside all day long was also a nice touch and much appreciated after a long day of walking around South Beach.
Angler's does seem to be built better than most. We had neighbors on either side and never heard more than a door closing. At most places we've stayed on South Beach even low level conversations next door were completely audible.
As nice as the hotel is we were blown away by the staff. From valet parking to housekeeping, and everyone in between, easily the most friendly, attentive and professional we've ever encountered.
To top it off all night a rooftop spotlight casts a pattern of rotating stars on the entire bottom of the pool, a very cool effect.

I have stayed at a number of Kimpton hotels and have never been disappointed. Anglers is a small hotel in a terrific location in Miami Beach. Upon arrival we were welcomed by two of their wonderful staff who promptly got us some cold water before checking in. We received an upgrade which turned out to be a very beautiful suite with a loft. The rooms were immaculately clean and bright. The spiral staircase is a bit of a challenge with luggage but it was an interesting touch. The bed was super comfortable . We took advantage of the umbrella left in the closet which was such a nice touch. The towels were large and fluffy, the bed sheets soft. The room was quiet and very private. This hotel is definitely worth booking when in the Miami area.

Must say I had a real nice time w/ my family & friends... But the fact that we got the most exclusive room w/ private area & AC NOT WORKING CORRECTLY was a turn OFF! Especially @ the end of July on So. Beach! Pretty redick!!! We felt they could of been a bit more accommodating w/ their customer service.... Like maybe offered a slight discount or comp'd second night... Frustrating situation especially that it was for my birthday!...

$36 per day for guests staying at the hotel. You can get your car and drop off as many times as you want. We had 2 different valet guys. Brian was very friendly and helpful. He opened the door for my girlfriend and helped with our bags, which is expected of a hotel valet. He also recommended places for us to check out since we are new to the South Beach area. The other staff (we didn't catch his name because he didn't introduce himself) fell short on service. He didn't open the door for us, didn't walk to our car when we drove up. It seemed like he was just there to be there. There was one or two times when the valet stand was left vacant and we had to stand around waiting for the staff. Small improvements could definitely be made to boost up the service, but there were never any major delays with getting our car when we needed it.
Came for my girlfriend's birthday. We had a top floor corner king room (5th floor) which was very secluded and quiet! The layout was quite spacious and there were many windows overlooking downtown Miami and parts of South Beach. It was very comfortable for us. It had an apartment/home feel to it as there were hardwood floors (instead of the usual hotel carpet floors) and light colored furniture/drapes. There were two TV's, a minibar, and a fridge.
The bathroom had white tile floor. Looked very clean upon entrance. No bathtub. There's a closet inside the bathroom stocked with extra towels, umbrella, bathrobes, and a yoga mat.
The room layout was a bit odd as the bed was facing the living room but there was a decent view since it faced out to the balcony. Our room had two floors, but the bottom floor was not functional. It is basically just another entrance with a stairwell leading up to the top floor.
Located two streets from South Beach on Ocean Dr. A quiet location away from the hustling and bustling bars and restaurants on Ocean Dr. Good for families or anyone who prefers a more peaceful location.
The front desk reception was really friendly. Kevin remembered my name and always greeted me when I came to the lobby. The hotel staff was also kind enough to set up a surprise in the room for my girlfriend's birthday. She felt really special and was really impressed.
We loved the towel service who came by three times throughout our two day stay which was very nice. They helped provide not only towels but bottled water.
Overall, this is a small boutique hotel, but does not fall short on service. The hotel staff is friendly, although improvements could be made on the valet service. I would definitely come back for the location and ambiance away from the party scene of South Beach.

If you're looking for a nice reasonably priced place to stay in the middle of South Beach, I don't think you can do much better than here.
My friend and I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms but it was anything but cheap; plenty of space with nice beds and furniture, large bathroom, and even a wet bar!
The pool area is nice, the cabanas are a great place to relax, you almost forget that you're right outside a busy part of SOBE!
The staff here was also very accommodating, they even decorated the room prior to our arrival after I told them we were coming in to celebrate her birthday which was a really nice touch and totally unexpected especially in Miami which is not known for it's good hospitality. I can tell this is one of the things they excel at here, making you feel special and welcome.
I would totally stay here again when the occasion calls for it, even though I live nearby, its a great place for a staycation.

Very good - and I am super picky.
I wasn't even in one of the super premium rooms - I was in a quirky duplex on the corner, overlooking Washington Avenue - but it was still a great experience. I appreciated it (I expected a good room as I travel a ton and am the highest status possible for Kimpton).
The staff were fine - not super amazing and every time I asked for something it felt like they didn't remember the last conversation we had - but they were respectful and knowledgeable about the area.
The hotel itself is a GEM. Super cute and old SoBe. Been around for a long time.
The best feature - it doesn't have a gym so they give you access to Equinox on Collins and 5th - super super awesome - love it.
I'd stay here again for sure - spend a couple of nights partying at the Surfcomber (another Kimpton) then chill out here and get healthy again. Having said that.....there's an awesome taqueria right across the street.......

The best hotel experience I've ever had. With so many crappy hotels on South Beach, or hotels advertising to be high when they are the furthest thing from it, Anglers is an absolute home run.
Located right in the heart of south beach, Anglers is a modern wonder that is in the center of the action, yet hidden away behind nicely landscaped property. There's a restaurant that is modernly decorated where guests can go for brunch and other meals. It's feels and looks like an exclusive hotel restaurant.
Now for my room... I stayed in a two floor suite that had a large front deck and a huge outdoor hot tub. It's nicely landscaped and the deck is perfect to entertain a small group or just two people.
The room was immaculate, modernly decorated and complete with surround sound. Couches and beds were comfy and the whole room had more of a condo vibe than anything else. Of all the times I've been to Miami, specifically south beach, this was hands down the best hotel experience I've had.
If you're looking for the ideal place to stay in South Beach, this is definitely it. It's worth every penny and its walking distance to everything you'll want and need in South Beach. I'll definitely be coming back here on my next trip!
