Not a good or bad place to stay overall good...Stay there for 4days  6/7/2010 and mostly stay in south beach which is like 15mins in bus. Less then 5 min walk to the beach and park.has swiming pool which is alright..first day we got there, they gave a room in the first floor and when got inside there was a worm in the carpet we didint waste time and we went and change it to a second floor which was more better and a good view ,the rooms are normal size, bathrooms are okay clean.Te location and parking not good is not close to stores or restaurant/bars .and is too hot to walk :)

    + Free parking
    + Free WiFi
    + Outdoor pool
    - Old-looking room's interior.
    - A lot of spanish-speaking families with kids.
After all, it is located in the north side of the city, so you have to drive to major attractions on the south side.

Very clean rooms and quiet location. Comes with a small fridge and microwave.  Hotel also has small pool that is clean and well kept.  Across the street from city park and beach.  Giving 4 stars because of the value given cleanliness and relative low price

Great Hotel that serves the purpose.
5 Minute walk to the beach
About a 10-15 minute walk north or south on Harding to local shops and restaurants
We got the room with the kitchette, but didnt have a stove, not sure if the other rooms had one

Nice room, pool was nice, staff was very friendly and helpful

The ony con is that the hotel is on a main road which was noisy at times

    I would stay here again

If you're looking for something fancy, this place may be disappointing to you. The whole goal in being in Miami is not staying in your hotel room; with that being said, this is the only place we stay at while in Miami. FREE parking, FREE wifi and no unnecessary resort fees. The rooms have everything you need and I like the separate kitchen area. Oh and let's not forget the hotel is right across the street from the beach; actually my favorite part of Miami beach. We've looked into staying at other places, but can never find a better deal.

Location: Perfect since its in the middle of both Miami beach and South beach. That is what they charge for, the location.

Hospitality: Front desk person was nice enough to let us use the microwave, steal some forks and knives and iron.

Parking: Free ample parking is available at the front and back of the hotel

Here is where it goes all haywire!

Amenities: No iron, no microwave, no hair dryer. Basically minimal amenities.
No mirror in the bathroom! I meannnn I need a mirror in the bathroom people! I felt like i was living in a hotel at an underdeveloped country, not America.
Door lock was weird and had to slide both our cards a million times in order for it to work.

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay here while we were in Miami. Even though we liked it, it's pretty much a 3 star hotel, so if you are expecting the ritz you won't find it here!

I noticed some yelpers posted photos of roaches in their rooms. Honestly I wouldn't say the rooms were the cleanest rooms in the world but we didn't see any roaches during our stay and the room was decently cleaned.

Our room was set up like a mini apartment, I'm not sure if all rooms were set up this way. We had a coffee pot, a microwave, some cabinets, a fridge (in the kitchen) a bed, an armoire or entertainment center with some drawers, a night stand and a desk (in the bedroom entrance area), a closet/hallway and a bathroom.

The staff we dealt with were very friendly, we didn't have a problem with anyone. The maids were very accommodating as far as cleaning our room, and waiting for us to leave after we kept sleeping until after 12 PM and they didn't steal any of our change like the maids did in Treasure Island while were in Vegas.

The hotel has a pool and it's a short walk through the park to the North Beach of Miami. South Beach is more happening but Hubby and I like things a little bit quieter sometimes so we didn't mind staying on North Beach. If we wanted to go to South Beach we drove our rental car or hopped in a cab (because sometimes parking in South Beach is a nightmare and you have to troll around for a spot for at least a half hour or more).

If you are looking for a budget friendly place in Miami and you don't mind staying on North Beach this is a good hotel for you. It's what it is, a three star hotel but still pretty nice!

Just returned north today - back into cold weather - and wanted to remind myself of Miami. Look, this isn't the Delano, but it's a solid value for the price and location. (Note: this is not South Beach.) Agree with the review below from Diana Q. Nothing fancy, but the rooms - we were in a corner king w/ kitchenette - are clean, neat, and spacious. Like a small apartment. Friendly staff. Free parking. Close to shops and restaurants in North Miami and Surfside. True, you're near a busy road, but didn't notice too much noise w/ windows closed and AC running. Would return.
