Good all round experience! Staff were all extremely helpful, some exceptionally so. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was excellent and leads to a boardwalk with access to the great beach.

We mostly ate breakfast at the hotels Paradise restaurant, which overlooks the pool area. The continental buffet runs at about $12.00 per person, which is good value for this area. We took a cab each night to South Beach for dinner....About $9.00 each way. Apart from a Walgreens on 41st. Street, there isn't much in the way of shops within walking distance of the hotel.

This place is not more than 1 star.  The desk staff was great but after that it went down hill.  Yes it was on the beach but I was here on business so I look for service that cater to a business person.  Rooms was shabby,  Room service was wrong and they add a 17% gratuity PLUS $2 delivery fee.  When they did get the food there it was terrible.  The second day I was there the clearning crew didn't even pick up the used towels.  Third day they didn't even show up.  And I was out of the room from 9:00 - 5:30.

i wish i could give it more stars but there was only one elevator working ;o(
3 stars because it was right on the beach and it was a beautiful day.
The hotel lobby is very nice and the building lights up green at night.
It's also not too far from the strip.

we only stood here one night because our next stop was Key West. So my experience here wasn't too bad but I hope they fixed the elevator.

This place is a really nice and upscale place with valet parking (but it's not included in the price). I think it's about $15-20 a day. The hotel is right by the beach, literally. You can just walk out to the pool and then to the beach-:) The lobby is gorgeous and has a large chandelier and nice chairs all around the area. There are three or four gift shops there and a nice looking restaurant inside as well. The room was averaged sized but nice. The a/c was nice and strong which was good since it was soo hot and humid outside.

The room was nice and had a view of the pool outside. There was an ironing board and a hair dryer inside and a fairly big walk in closet by the bathroom. It's not one of the cheaper hotels in the area since it's on Collins Ave. which is an upscale area of Miami Beach from what I've read. One night at this place cost us $161.73 after tax. It was worth it though! We had a great time swimming in the pool although it was crowded since it was so hot. We also had fun swimming in the ocean. There is small bar by the pool that also serves food. At the beach, there are rentals for jet skis and umbrellas.

Also ,there is a long walkway outside with the beach on one side and gorgeous art deco hotels on the other side. We took a walk outside when the sun was setting and it was gorgeous! The sand was white and the water was a nice blue green color. This place is within walking distance of many restaurants, but most of them are inside hotels from what my husband told me. We found an excellent Italian place called Carrabba's a few minutes away on his GPS. Parking in this area is hard to find and traffic is bad, so it's best if you walk or take a taxi to wherever you want to go to. This place is awesome!

I just stayed here again this week. It's an excellent location. It's nice and quiet and right on the beach. Ruben Santana checked me in and again upgraded me and helped me get a discount to stay for a few more nights! He is an asset to this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good (although they don't always include the ingredients listed on the menu). The pool area needs some ambience and the water is freezing. It is also tortuous because the Sheraton next door has a nice heated pool that they won't let you use :( Overall though, great hotel!!! :)
