Great hotel for the price. I had friends staying in other hotels on Collins and our room was definitely nicer. Clean rooms, LCD TV's, down comforters...it was very modern and nice. Perfect location to the clubs and restaurants on Ocean Drive. The staff was pretty nice and helpful but the check in process took FOREVER so be prepared. There is only one person working at a time which is a bit ridiculous.

Great hotel. Our suite looked new with the chic and modern designs. The receptionists were very helpful.

Flat screen TV with tons of channels to choose from. The girls and I were tempted to spend our whole trip holed up in the hotel room with the AC blasting.

The free wifi, however, was a disappointment. I had to bring my macbook downstairs to the lobby or the front patio to get signals. So minus a star.

Other than that, this is a great place to stay at with the beach only a block away and it's in close proximity to the shops, restaurants, clubs, etc.

Best deal on Miami Beach! Me and my girl just got back from our mini vacation and I felt compelled on writing a review.

The Delores was very clean conveniently located and the staff was very welcoming.

Affordable prices, very clean & updated and South Beach, YOU CANT BEAT THAT!!

Clean, beautiful, friendly, comfortable, snacks in the AM/PM, complimentary beach towels everyday, and the BEST staff you could imagine. Delores you are chic, perfectly located and you WON MY WALLET each time I visit :) Thanks!

A hotel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach means you are either next to the beach or crossing one street to the beach.  No great shakes.  That said, this was a fairly decent hotel for a good price.  We had the suite in the back away from the crowd on Collins so that was a plus.

As far as parking goes, if you are renting or driving, go somewhere else that includes parking because the meters are only good for 8 hours and the garages are flat rate only.

Rarely are hotels better than the reviews and pictures you check out on travel sites beforehand, but this one blew me away.

I stayed in the beginning of April, which I guess is early for the summer but the weather was perfect.   I stayed w 3 others in a 2 bedroom suite, and the total was ~$400 ($50/person/night), which for the service was a spectacular deal.  Rooms were nicely appointed, clean, spacious, and well lit with natural light.  Cheap towels and chairs for the beach (we paid a resort fee, $10, for the whole group).

Probably the nicest part was the service - the young woman working the front desk was as nice as she could possibly be.  Helped out in every way, polite, offered help with parking and food, etc.

Yes the only downside is that parking is limited, we showed up very late and had to fight every person in miami beach looking for parking on or near collins because the hotel's sister hotel had no more room in their lot.  Bummer.

Regardless I'd go back here in a heartbeat, in fact I probably will.

Delores, you freakin' rock. Your price is right, your location couldn't be better, your front desk staff is second to none and your rooms were just lovely.

My husband and I wanted to spend a weekend in South Beach before boarding a ship for our well-deserved honeymoon cruise. We had a serious budget (wedding was in August, baby now on the way, honeymoon sorely needed in May!) and I scoured Yelp and the travel sites for the perfect place. I stumbled upon Delores pretty late int he search. I couldn't figure out the catch. The rates were reasonable and the location was the best there is - right smack dab in the middle of South Beach. We were 1 block from the beach and right in the middle, cross-street wise, of all the dining, shopping and nightlife. It was great.

We arrived around 1 on Saturday after a hellish red-eye (never again). Our room wasn't ready yet but they took our bags and offered some ideas of where to eat and said to come back in an hour or so. We found a great sandwich place around the corner and came back in an hour and all was ready. The place isn't big - 2 floors, stairs only) but the rooms were nice enough. It does smell oceany but it's Miami, people. The land of all that is humid. And the ocean is right there. Deal with it.

We stayed in a room with 1 queen bed - no suite or anything. The room had a big mini bar/fridge/sink area that was awesome. That made the room so spacious and so perfect for everything. The bed was comfy and the sheets were nice. The bathroom wasn't the Bellagio but it was fine by us. I am not a huge fan of the tile floors - especially after returning from the beach. I wish they'd throw down a rug or two. That might have been my only complaint.

They provided towels and beach chairs - just ask at the front desk when you are on your way out and return them when you get back. They do get busy at the desk with the comings and goings but they'll usually let you sneak in and grab your own stuff if you can't wait. The girls at the desk were always ready to offer suggestions of where to see and eat. So nice in a town we knew so little about.

Flat screens and awesome AC in the rooms. Wifi worked perfectly for us, too. We didn't need to do anything parking-wise since we were carless so that was nice - they don;t have parking but their sister hotel does down the street, apparently. If you can avoid having a car down there, though - do. It is some seriously awful traffic and parking blows. You don;t need one, either, since everything is within a 10 block radius. Plus, being on the street keeps you in the middle of the action! This is South Beach, baby!

I super recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere affordable and totally stayable. It's not super high class - don;t come in expecting the Ritz - but it was a great experience at a great price and we would 100% stay there again the next time we are in town.

Rarely in all of my business travels have I had a worse experience with a hotel.  The front desk staff was extremely rude, and very unhelpful.

I have already noted this within my company and NO ONE from my company (and we travel a lot).  Will ever stay here based on my experience.

Couldn't have been treated worse.  There are better places to stay in Miami beach, trust me.

Nice and quiet, recently renovated. Two stories tall of simple, no-frills rooms at very reasonable prices, located one block away from Ocean Drive and within walking distances of all that is fun in the area...

A good choice for those who do not plan on doing much at their hotel beyond sleep.

This hotel would have easily gotten a 5 star rating but 1 thing stopped it from a 5.  Let me start with the pros of this hotel.  My wife and I took a last minute trip to Miami and this hotel had some good reviews (which it lived up to) so we decided to book this hotel  which was fairly inexpensive compared to every hotel nearby.  The check-in was welcoming and friendly and ahead of schedule.  The staff is great from the front desk to the cleaning folks.  Going to the beach we did not want to rent chairs so we asked our hotel if they had any and sure enough they provided us with 2 lounge chairs.  During our last night, we needed to print out boarding passes and had no where to go so we asked the front desk and once again they came through for us and printed our boarding passes.  The A/C noise can be a slight pain but nothing that will do any harm (simply sharing for everyone to be aware).  The rooms are very clean and kept up.  Overall, it's a nice hotel and worth staying at.  The one thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star rating was 3 baby roaches in the bathroom near the shower on 3 different days.  You must keep in mind that the weather is extremely hot and it seems that roaches in this area are common (other hotels had similar roach reviews).  Aside from this roach incident, the place is great hotel to stay at.

I recently stayed here for my bachelorette party, purposely booking a suite to have ample room for pre partying.  We didn't realize upon booking that booking two double beds in a suite meant one of the rooms had one of the beds, not a couch as pictured online.  We ended up moving around the furniture but maybe they could be more clear about that.  The staff was friendly and the rooms were mostly clean, with some sand lingering on the tile floor here and there.  No microwave which was silly considering it was a suite with a sink and mini fridge.  The AC didn't pump as much as we would have liked and the tv wasn't user friendly.  All in all, very great location.  From what I found online, the price of $199 for a Saturday night in August seemed reasonable.  We did have to pay $50 for a late check out of 3:00 but that was money very very well spent:)

Great!! We had just a problem of the room's floor was dirty, but they solved it in 25 minutes, the time it took to go to the beach, take a walk and then come backmu

I've always been meaning to review The Delores. Me & my boyfriend at the time now fiancé (he proposed in Miami!) stayed there for 6 nights. We paid a heck of a price $540 for all that time. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Bed was soooo comfy I can't get over how much I enjoyed my sleep there. Very close to the beach. It was a little bit smaller than what I was used to for hotels but hey we weren't there to hang out in our hotels all day. So I was happy. I give it a 5 star rating because it absolutely deserves it! Thank you to the staff who had outstanding service skills and manners. Job well done. Even let us print some basketball tickets. I stayed December 2013.

The hotel is alright, but Service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. They made errors that they would not admit to and moved us without our knowledge. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.but in all fairness the location is good and the owner is extremely nice lady. I hope she does well with her business.

When we first arrived,  service at the front desk was less than friendly, but after a shift change the front desk woman was pleasant. This hotel is affordable and in an awesome location. You can go wrong.  We used booking.com and got an awesome deal, along with beach towels and umbrella.

I booked this hotel last minute for a bachelorette.  It worked perfectly for us but we had two rooms, one which was nicely renovated and the other which was a dump.  The cosmetics of the hotel leave something to be desired and we had to basically climb over a bunch beach chairs to get in and out of one of our rooms.  It was definitely more than I expected for the price though.  The location is KEY.....Its tuly the selling point of this hotel.  Overall if you plan on not spending much time in the room this place is certainly worth it.  I will be back again.

Well it's nice but when reserving thought there were two twin beds. Found out last minute that it was not. Had to leave for another hotel but this was my fault not verifying first.

2 Stars: it's one upgrade of a hostel, rooms are small and should be turned into a closet. Trying to watch TV and it was on a delay that it took 10 seconds to change to one channel.

Hotel next door was cheaper and rooms are nicer... Food for thought

Great boutique hotel in sobe! I am originally from Miami and have stayed at almost every hotel in sobe including SLS, fountainbleu, Eden roc ect.. Let me tell you for the price and location you have a great hotel here. It's a small hotel with no pool, but the rooms are newly renovated and location can't be beat. Guests get free chair and towels to the beach which is a 2 min walk from the hotel.

Our room was bigger than most hotels in sobe. It's newly renovated with a modern look. Clean sheets and super clean bathroom. The only big complaint which I must give is the rooms are not sound proof. You can hear virtually everything from the outside.

If you are looking for a getaway from Miami or don't care about a pool area I recommend you stay here.
