If you need a fairly economical place to stay right in the heart of SoBe, this is it.  Rooms are tiny, but pretty clean.  Noise is what you would expect.  Walk out the front door and BAM!  you are in the mix of SoBe

I would give this place 4 stars in a heart beat IF they would replace their beds! Nice location, free semi ok WiFi, staff is wonderful (except for the on site restaurant ) newer deco type rooms but the mattress is totally unacceptable (basically a straw mattress ) and you only get a sheet and a Very thin "blanket?" For a party of 2 you only get 1 wash cloth , 2 pillows and the maids don't replace the shampoos etc.  So close to being a great hotel on south beach but if you can't sleep what's the point ?

We didn't stay in the hotel but we are at the restaurant twice and didn't realize until we got home that the servers there had both written in extra tips totaling $80 for themselves even after a 20% tip was manually added to our bill. A man and woman of Cuban descent I believe? Both with dark hair, the girls hair was very long. Anyway, if you choose to eat here make sure you CROSS OUT the tip line and write in the total in hard ink to prevent this. We weren't the only ppl this happened to. Hire a new waitstaff!

But, please be carful by sign the credit card receipt.
You only get the credit card receipt.
We need to ask for the invoice and noticed that they are already add 15% tip to the credit card receipt.

I've notice people did not give this hotel a lot of positivity but honestly, I think it's great! Rooms are small but very cozy and the decorations, furniture, and set up is very nice. Location is fantastic as it is a quick walk to all the stores so you can shop. Beach is right across the street and you're right on ocean drive! All the bars, clubs, and restaurants are in easy walking distance! Beds are pretty comfy and pillows are so soft. You need you room card to get power in the rooms. It's their way to conserve energy which is a cool concept. The staff are all great and valet is fast!
