Just to clarify AJ's Review. Not all the rooms have plasma screens (we rented two suites, and niether one had a plasma tv)

The Bentley Beach is nowhere near a luxury hotel. The location is decent, however the phone system didn't work and the service was horrible. You can't even check out through the TV,

If you are looking to go to South Beach for a party weekend, stay somewhere else because this place is definetly set up for families.

The kitchen they give you in the suites are nice, but I would rather stay somewhere closer to the action.

Wife and I stayed for our 10 year anniversary.  The hotel is nice and a great location.  We loved the pool and beach, but poolside service was bad.  It took 20 minutes to get your $12 drink and then you get to pay an 18% tip.  I like the hotel, but the service could be much better for the price.

The location is nice. Cool ambiance. The room itself was nice as well. I was disappointed in the parking fee $39/ day. I am a Diamond member with Hilton, and every other Hilton comps breakfast to Diamond members.  At this location you're limited to bread or oatmeal :/ upcharge if you want powdered eggs.

Didn't stay here but had lunch on the beach.  They charged us $10/chair (which is less than nikki bar next store, $20) and gave us towels.  They had a very reasonable menu that we had delivered to us on the beach ($10 for sandwiches, tropical drinks etc).  Food and drinks were good.  Super nice staff.  Great place to get beach service for a reasonable price.

The place was very nice. Really loved the room. Unfortunately the service was terrible. Room service opening the door at 9:30 in the morning after 2 knocks is unacceptable. Not to mention, my phone charger was stolen out my room, and the hotel did nothing about it. Kept telling me they are checking lost and found. Had to repeat myself about 10 times. It was not lost. Then the manage tells me, they are not responsible for items left in the room. Really... Didn't know I needed to pack all my things away and lock my suitcase when leaving the room. This was my first and last time staying at the Hilton Bentley.

This Bentley is more like a Yugo.  Rooms were great but the service sucked!  I guess it didn't matter after Kourtney & Khloe left.

Me and a couple of friends went there and got a room for a night to celebrate another friend's 21st  birthday and we had a blast! about 25 -30 people showed up, we had the one bedroom suite with ocean view and balcony ...we mixed drinks in the spacious kitchen while others chilled in the living area and some out by the balcony (you can't miss none of the ocean drive action).. theres was plenty of room for everyone and we even had music going on and security didnt bother us lol strange....but we will def. be going back soon :)

The rate when we went was about $500 or so but i know it was meant to be more but we got a special for that night.

ALSO! don't forget to hit the pool and hot tub on the roof! lol its super relaxing.

If you get the munchies u can go to Ruby Tuesdays or was it a Friday's?...i don't remember but it was one of the two and its right downstairs on the corner , you should go there and get food instead of the hotel which can be rather expensive.

Overall very sleek and cool spot to party and relax.

    The Pros
+Our suite was gorgeous... super spacious with a separate living room and bedroom. It also had a full fridge + kitchen. Flat screen tvs, dining area, good AC (key for humidity)
+Beach access with service from the waiters (fyi, they charge for chairs. If you have status, go to the front desk and see if they can hook it up)
+Convenient access to Prime 112 and Prime Italian restaurants (but see reviews about those places...)
+Service (management was great in working with us and getting our issues resolved with our room situation)
+Happy hour for Hilton Honors members was really good... it was at their restaurant bar. They give you drink tickets for mojitos and appetizers

    The Cons
+They need more staff onsite at the check in desk. There was only two people there (sometimes only one) and check-in became a lengthy wait (and we're Hilton Diamond)
+Really small pool (felt like a backyard pool). I know we're at the beach but sometimes, you just want to chill bythe pool and for the rate you're paying and the location you're in, I expected a nicer pool
+Gym is very small... 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, and 1 elliptical. If you go when there's some activity, there's no machines. And the AC didnt work in there so it was kind of gross.
+Spa is TINY. and if you get a couples massage, they put you in this little corner outside of the actual spa that is blocked off by makeshift drapes. And, if you get your massage in the afternoon, it gets hot! I was so uncomfortable and sweaty during the massage... bleh.
+Breakfast at restaurant for Hilton Honors members was mediocre... the selection was very limited but at least they make u fresh omelettes if you want

I think the property itself is very nice, with really nice rooms (well, our room anyway). Their amenities definitely need updating though...

On a side note, they upgraded us to the suite that's right next door to the Kardashian suite! Pretty cool... at first. But, actually... it ended up being REALLY annoying. The owner of the suite (the hotel is part hotel, part condos) was ripping it apart for renovations and so on Friday morning, we were woken up by banging and drilling a 9 AM. Super annoying since we just got in the night before and were suuuper tired. Ok fine, we'll just go to the beach and relax. Well after a day at the beach and coming back for a nap before dinner, the banging and hammering is still going on. How are we supposed to sleep and enjoy ourselves... until we check out on Monday?!~! Hotel was completely booked and they didnt want us to lose our "good" room so they talked to the construction dudes and they agreed not to start work again on Monday morning at 10 AM. So beware of condo owners because the hotel does not really have control over what they do..

I loved this hotel. The location on the south point of the island is phenomenal, and not too far from all the action. The suites are spacious, and very well stocked with all the amenities one would need. It was the perfect room to have friends in too, with the tables, couches, and fully stocked kitchen. If you need a room to sleep alot of people this place is good too because the couch folds out into a bed. The fridge was fully stocked which was also nice. The service staff were very helpful and prompt, check out was a breeze. Thanks

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights before heading to Key West for my 30th bday celebration... we used free coupons for our stay. I am pretty much indifferent about it after staying there... the rooms were very nice with a full kitchen and full-size stainless refrigerator. It made it really nice to buy drinks down the street and keep them cold.

The breakfast in the restaurant was fair and there was only 1-2 other couples eating at the same time so it was very quiet, although that did not mean the service improved.

The lime/mint water and champagne in the lobby was a nice treat.

The hotel is about 6 blocks from the restaurants on Ocean so it's completely walkable but gets old after a while.

We did not enjoy the pool when we were there because the weather was pretty crappy... very windy and it rained a couple times each day.

I would probably stay here again but it's only because I am a loyal Hilton customer just to keep my status and earn more points.

Disappointing quality of decor and service. Cockroach was in the elevator with us. Not enough towels displayed, and the coffee pot was missing from the kitchen. The remote to the TV didn't work so the service guys had to come fix the monitor. The Suite we reserved specifically stated that it came with two king size beds in each room's was incorrect. It was one king and one queen. Beautiful view made up for the lack of less than high end features.

My husband and I had a weekend get awat to Miami.  We had the opportunity to stay at the all suite Hilton Bentley on South Beach and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to the area. The hotel is located on Ocean Drive and is associated with the Bentley Beach Club. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.

On our first night there, we all dined at Gaia Ristorante, an Italian restaurant located inside the hotel. We were actually waited on by the restaurant manager who provided us with excellent service. L is a huge shrimp scampi fan and did not see it on the menu. When the manager overheard our conversation about the scampi, he offered to have it specially prepared for us. Amazing service!

The entire staff was friend and acommodating during our stay.  We will be using them again when in the area.

Stayed here for two nights using my free promo nights while on vacation (that I usually get from Hilton, Hilton Diamond member) and it is a little difficult to find since the main entrance is on a dead-end side street but valet got my car immediately.  This is on the boutique, luxury side of the hotels with the small reception/lobby area.  I was checked in quickly and professionally and I was even given an automatic upgrade to a ocean-facing suite from a city-view studio which was awesome plus they gave me a bottle of wine and some bottles of water when I got to the room.

I am a bit pissed off that they have nicer applicances in the kitchen of my room than my place, the furniture in the living space was a throw back to old-world luxury but the balcony had two upright chairs and a lounge chair facing the beach, can't beat that.  I find it funny that the TV was regular cable with HD instead of the usual 20 channels that hotels normally give you with pay-per-view channels galore.  Than there is the bathroom was pretty cool.  Large shower area, big enough for me to my 90X workout in if I need to, and a jacuzzi hot-tub and offcourse a foot rinse bowl. The one thing about the bathroom was the hot-tub's overflow drain and faucets were on opposite side so your back has the overflow drain plug on it (not ergonomically correct).  They have marble type floors so some of the hotel thin flip-flops would have been appreciated but having that ice-making dual-sided fridge saves from finding the ice maker in the middle of the night. Concierge service was really friendly and kind, helped me find a cigar show open at 10pm nearby.  I would stay here again definitely, especially if I m only paying for valet parking, a bargain in deed.

My friends and I didn't stay at the Hilton but were able to use the beach services here.  I am only rating on the beach service and the pool service.  Seems like everything in Miami is laid back including food and drink service.  We went to the hotel pool the first day because it was raining.  There was one guy that was the server and bartender for the entire pool area.  We also thought he was the chef as well.  I think our drinks took about 15-20 minutes and our food took almost 45 minutes.  We didn't order anything special, just a pizza and a salad.

We finally were able to go to the beach on our second day and our hotel allowed us to use the cabana service.  There were some miscommunication at the beginning with the cabana boys trying to set us up but that was quickly taken care of.  After that, he recognized our faces and was extremely helpful and even took us for a ride on his beach mobile :)  I have to say the beach service was pretty nice.  I could get use to this type of treatment.

My company hosted our annual Christmas party here this year. It was a beautiful setting and a nice gesture for our employees to have an event held in South Beach. However, there were certain things lacking...

The ambience and view were amazing despite the fact that the room we occupied faced the street and not the ocean. The balcony overlooks Ocean Drive and Prime 112 Restaurant, very nice. At the event itself we were treated very nicely and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. Bathroom facilities were also great. However, the food served at the event was lacking. Also, the valet service was ridiculous! Over 2 hours for us all to get our vehicles from the lot. While I understand we were a large party and it takes time, the wait was unacceptable. I would defintiely consider the venue in the future because it is a nice place, but would definitely reconsider the parking.

This is a nice hotel at the end of South Beach. It's a little walk from the main South Beach attraction area, so it's quieter and feels more secluded. The service is amazing and the entire staff is really friendly.

Tried the massage at the spa and it was great. Pricey of course. The hot tub is quite nice, though it would've been nicer if it were in a covered area so that we could've used it even when it was raining.

The pool and bar is definitely nice, plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs to share. The breakfast buffet is not grand but sufficient. I wouldn't pay to eat there though, we had free coupons because of membership status.

They also kindly upgraded us to the most badass suite ever over 7/4 weekend. The balcony was L shaped and we could see both the ocean AND the city. Overall, it was an amazing experience staying there.

Fantastic. Stayed only 1 night on our way through to the Keys on our honeymoon, but the Hilton in S. Beach made sure it was special.  Mojito happy hour to start, then a chilled bottle of bubbly waiting in our room upon our arrival.  Valets knew where the restaurant we wanted to go was and front desk staff was friendly and inviting.

This review is for the Bentley Beach Club.

We bought a Groupon (I believe, or maybe it was Living Social?) Anyhow, we weren't staying at the hotel, but we went to use the Beach Club facilities. Our deal came with two chairs, an umbrella, and valet parking. Sweet!

We arrived on the earlier side, around 10AM, and that was good because it seemed to get more crowded after 12PM. They set us up with two very comfy cushioned lounge chairs with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the pier. The vibe was very laid back. We were seated in the area where it seemed that the regulars go. You can buy 3, 6, or 9 month memberships to the Beach Club that comes with access to the chairs, umbrellas, and parking during your membership.

This was definitely a posh was to go to the beach since we normally lug out our sheet, towels, and umbrella. I don't think I've ever laid in a cushioned lounge chair on the beach! Needless to say, we stayed all day - from 10 to almost 4.

We ordered lunch from the cafe. We split the fish tacos and the naked colada. It was good, if on the expensive side. We brought our own snacks too since we knew it would be pricey.

Overall, we were very happy with our experience. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed our special day at the beach.

I had my bachelorette party here for 4 days in May 2012. Upon arrival we were greeted with superb service and informed about the free mojitos during happy hour!We had an awesome time. The room was a 2 bedroom suite that was a freaking condo with plenty of space for everyone in the suite and the ladies who were in other rooms.  We immensely enjoyed the oceanfront view and the balcony that could hold all 15 of us.  We laid on the beach in our backyard with service at our fingertips. We had one mishap with the AC but the technician repaired it quickly.  Take advantage of the concierge service which was very helpful. There areplenty of dining options nearby. The restaurant next to the pool had horrible service but the steakhouse on the street end of the hotel was fabulous! Overall, the location is great and I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel - the service was spot on, the room was breathtakingly beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was comfortable and quiet and access to the beach was easy and delightful. I had my wedding here so here's my review of them for my wedding:

I don't know where to begin with this place. We originally chose it because of the price range and our budget. Everything seemed great in the beginning. Then the real planning started and that's when we regretted signing a contract with them so fast. IF you do choose to go with this venue I HIGHLY recommend having EVERYTHING in writing for any proof you may need to present the wedding coordinator at the hotel with. We had so many issues with that. She always forgot everything we had originally gone over. About 2 or 3 weeks before our wedding (a year after already giving her all our information) she was asking about our vendors, and if we needed microphones for the wedding officiant, knowing that we weren't getting married in that location just having our reception. Every time we had to go to the hotel for something wedding related I would write to her to make sure she would tell the front desk we were going so they could validate our parking. Of course we would go and they would claim she never told them anything. I won't go into too many details regarding this because I can write a short story about it.
Anyways, the hotel does not provide a holding room for the bride and groom so if you have to wait until the cocktail hour is done, here are the options they gave us: either go to your hotel suite, go to the bar downstairs or join your guests at the cocktail hour. Then they have hotel rooms right next to the venue, we heard our wedding planners say that guests had already complained about noise. Your sign in table goes right in front of the elevators and hotel rooms so if you have a money box/card holder make sure you have someone at all times watching your stuff.
The worst part of the night, apart from them serving the food an hour later then we had discussed and delaying our wedding (we only had the venue until 1am and because of the delay had to cut the cake before food was served), was that there was no parking available to our guests. Only 2 valet people were working. According to one, he said he had no idea how many people were to be expected and according to the other one, he said he had no idea there was a wedding going on and if he knew he would have had 5 more people working that night. Our guests had to find meter parking on a busy Friday night at South Beach.
Let me get to the good parts, they do offer a honeymoon suite for the couple in the price. The food is phenomenal. That's what everyone kept raving about. And servers, bar tenders were all exceptional. That's about it.

This can't be a Hilton hotel. Plane and simple. I'm here staying with my wife after our wedding and honeymoon in Antigua for the last 7 days.  We returned to Miami to visit her family for a couple of days before returning home to North Carolina.  I picked this hotel because I had some HHonors points to burn and thought based on price and rating on Hilton.com that this would be a nice treat for us both.  Boy was I wrong.

I usually talk to the management about issues I have prior to writing a review.  This is meant to be fair to the hotel and not blindside them with a bad review.  In this case I'm not doing that because its 7am here and I haven't slept all night for sake of this horrible, antiquated air conditioning system and the crappy bed in my room.

We don't have a car so the valet wasn't an issue and thank god. We were tempted to get a rental for the convenience and that, based on other reviews would have been a mistake. The bellhop was courteous and attentive as well as having a cosmopolitan knowledge of the area. He interacted with us like a professional concierge as I believe he should in this 'quality' level of a hotel.

The room is nicely appointed - save for the bed and the A/C - and the bathroom in particular is truly wonderful.  The television and the balcony overlooking Ocean Dr are both top notch. Back to the bed I mentioned.  I am 6' even and I generally sleep on my front with my hands under or above my head.  That cuts off about ~3" of headroom on a normal night but for some reason this is the only bed that this leaves my feet dangling in space.  Oh and the mattress is harder than I've experienced in high end Hilton hotels, but pretty par for the course in your garden variety bargain hotel.  But then again that isn't what I was looking for when we came here.  Lastly the pillows are hard solid foam and don't improve the situation.

Speaking of the sleep situation, my last gripe was the racket from the A/C.  I was informed when I arrived at the front desk that the hotel was full. This meant two things, no free HHonors upgrades and if the room sucks, too bad.  I'm ok with both of those as that often happens in a nice location this time of year.  The checkin went smoothly but since I can't understand a heavily ethic accented English I couldn't understand another word that the desk clerk said.  We arrived at our room to the rattle and clang of the A/C fan blowing in the room right over your head as you enter.  Now that may be fine in a room where this fan is located in the doorway, 10s of feet from your bed but in this room it is exactly 10 feet from my head, lying on the far side of the bed from my wife (who is trying to get me to increase the harshness of the wording because she is a more sensitive sleeper than I am - 4 rotations in Afghanistan will do that to one's hearing).  I called the front desk and informed them of the problem. They sent maintenance while Jess and I dined in Rodreguez (My wife the food critic will handle that debacle - crunching the remains of shell fragments in our $40+ Paella was a highlight).  He arrived before we had departed and couldn't speak enough English to even tell me anything other then shrug his shoulders and depart in 2 minutes saying dismissively, "I'll tell the front desk."  Ok, now I know the hotel is full so that isn't going to do anything other than get me an apologetic call from the management.  A call which as it turns out never came.  So we return from dinner to rest and relax and try and get some sleep.  Turn on a movie and try to watch it but I can't hear the dialog over the A/C. Simple answer, I turn it up only to discover that it is volume limited (common hotel practice).  That's normally fine but in this case I take issue and discover that the television is actually uncomfortably loud when the A/C turns off and the TV startles my now sleeping wife because it was TOO loud.

Fine I doze off and that brings us full circle.  I'll update this or edit it when I get done with breakfast but this hotel is not worth the money.  I'm going to follow through with my policy and talk to management but this place is the pits.  I'm glad I booked my wife and I at the Conrad in downtown Miami. Without reading the reviews, I at least have a higher expectation from a Conrad branded hotel....

Fam and I  stayed here for a night after a 7day cruise to end my boiz 33rd bday celebration.  The Bentley is beautiful, modern and sophisticated.  With all the beautiful people surrounding it.  The views from all 5 balconies were majestic and phenomenal.  Didnt get to the beach, but next time.  Thanks Eric for the job well done and having our fragile items wrapped for us.  Cool guy.

The review is for the beach club.

Started off the Spring outdoors time at the Bentley and it was quite nice.  Beach cabana service is nice and comprehensive but incredibly slow.  Pool area and bar is relaxing and has everything you would need including a massage area.

It's next to Nikki's though so that can ruin the zen mood but it's not too bad.

Food selection at the beach area is limited and slow bit good.  Drinks are available by the pitcher and are very very good.

Paying with (50,000) points, I give this place 4 stars.  Paying with cash...i probably would have given it 2 stars (assuming I did not pay the outlandish $1200 a night price tag).

The front desk is very nice, the rooms are nicely appointed but not quite the perfection i would expect from such an expensive hotel.  The curtain was ripped, the hairdryer was busted, the faucet leaked, and there were marks all over the walls.  All minor, and I would be fine with this if I as paying for a "Days Inn" price.

As a Diamond member, I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite.  It was very roomy.  The toiletries were "PeterThomasRoth," which were very nice.  For my Hilton "status" I recieved a bottle of "La Pradera - Bodega Tonelos - Malbec 2012" (which I really liked)and a couple bottles of water.

The food at the beach was awful.  Don't do it.  I didn't mind paying $30 a day for 2 lounge chairs and 1 umbrella.  They were well maintained and the staff was attentive.  (As a Diamond, I also received a glass of proseco and a bottle of water for each chair which was wonderful).

I did not think the hotel was too far away from the action, but I also did not walk around in my 5 inch heels which may explain some of the complaints.

Tip:  The cost of a parking ticket is $18.  (Far cheaper than the $35 a day Bentley charges to park).  I was too chicken to try this out, but I think it is worth looking in to.  I found parking in a garage about 12 blocks away for $20/day.  The walk was not bad since this was in April and the weather was wonderful.

Just checked out of our one night stay at the Hilton Bentley. property was nice. Great location although it was right next to Nikki Beach...loud techno music blasting. The only employee who was friendly and personable was Raul at the poolside bar. The front desk agents and concierge were clueless. Apparently nobody South Beach knows how to get anywhere or know where things are located. We asked the concierge how to get to Little Havana (literally 10 minute s away) and he couldn't tell us. Then we asked the concierge,  after we said we would Google it, are there any points of interest we should see in Little Havana? His response was "Ummm, well, ummmm." Isn't that your job as a concierge to guide your guests to local attractions and points of interest?? We had better hospitality by the old Cuban men playing dominoes in the park on Calle Ocho then our combined 22 hour south beach!! As a person who works in the hospitality industry on the West Coast of Florida, I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of friendliness and service. The Valets were rude, never opened the front door for a guest. Although, Eugenio,  who was cleaning the glass on the front door did smile and opened the door for my sister and I. I think he was a member of housekeeping.  Nobody asked us if we were enjoying our stay. Nobody made eye contact with us for that matter. After spending $300 for one night at that hotel, I left with headache from the techno music and completely disappointed with the service. Oh and did I mention I ordered room service. I ordered a Flatbread and got pork sliders instead. Just not the experience I was hoping for. The poolside cabanas were nice but almost $15 for a vodka and club soda seemed ridiculous. If you want to pay top dollar for mediocre at best service, go to South Beach.

The Hilton Bentley was a key part of my wife/me/neighbor couple get-away long weekend.

We used points for two of our three nights, and had a kitchenette room, which was handy for keeping store-bought beverages ready for the draw.   Floors are a lovely travertine marble with green border accents (probably all rooms, can't imagine carpet in a hotel here...bleck) and room appointments were modern, clean and updated (flat screen TV, surround sound).

Staff was extremely courteous and accomodating; most if not all seem to speak Spanish, probably due to the demographics of the area as well as the clientele that come from all over Caribean, Central and South America.

One odd twist:  after having our 'do not disturb' sign on door the entire weekend (oh, we left the room, just didn't need it made up), on our 3rd night, house cleaning went in anyway to make our beds.  No towels changed (again, we hadn't asked) so not sure what that was about.  I informed front desk that my expectation of 'do not distrub' is just that: stay out of the room unless you smell a decaying corpse or need to have the police knock it down.

Overall though, a lovely hotel with a nice hot tub/common area on the 4th floor (that we used for a take-out dinne with our friends).  Pool area is very comfortable, with ample lounges and even four of the elevated beds...swanky cool.   Pool seems like it should be busy at night, but it was dead as a doornail...all at the action was at Nikki Beach next door (more on that later..holy cow).

I'm 2 days into a 3 day stay at the hotel and felt compelled to write a review before my departure to express my disappointment during this trip. There must have been a change in management since I was last here.  The quality of service is not up to the standard set in my previous visit here.  Lets start with valet parking.  I'm paying $35 per night to have my car sit in there garage each night. Self parking isn't allowed so I'm at the mercy of the valet.  You would think that if you call for your car to be brought out front 15-20 minutes before going downstairs it would be there.  That is not the case here.  Once downstairs and realizing car not there I have to hunt down the valet to get my car.  Even then they take their time about it.  By the way, although it's December, this is Florida so it's hot and humid while waiting for my car.

Now let's talk about the availability of ice.  When I called room service to ask where the ice machine was i was told "It's on the 4th floor, I think". Once on the 4th floor,lo and behold no ice machine.  I was led to the ice machine by the housekeeping staff who was in the area.  I was taken to the garage, where I learn the ice machine is kept (a questionable location in itself, but I digress).  She then tells me that if I had asked for ice It would have been brought to the room.Something i should have been told when I first called room service about ice.

The next time I needed ice I called and it was delivered in an ice bucket and in a  very courteous manner that made up for the previous ice issue.  The next time I asked for ice it was delivered in a humungous plastic bag that is usually used for laundry service. It was more ice than I could use in a week.  I was stunned. I had to check to see if i was really at a Hilton.

Otherwise the room was great as well as the location

ARE YOU SURE, SURE, SURE THIS IS A HILTON HOTEL ???? LOL

Outdated rooms, So OLD everything is falling apart... I had to check to see if i was really at a Hilton. The AC was making more noise than an old caterpillar,  the shower head was broken so i have to get very close to the wall under the shower head to take a shower hehehe then when i tried to open up the door it was stuck :0 i was stuck in the bathroom!!!! I decided that i will not close the door any more. It was one thing after another, so i started looking for the hidden cameras because i was thinking i was being punked hehehehe

And service? SUCKS! No way this is a 4 star hotel. I have no menu in the room to order dinner so i called to the restaurant and they told me to call front desk because there should be a menu in the room. So i called front desk.. and called,  and called, and called. no answer for 30 minutes. So i have to go downstairs and pick it up myself. The food was really good, Finally something good!!! when i was leaving i was calling front desk to ask for valet to have my car ready and nothing. Are you kidding me? I came downstairs and waited for ever for valet to bring my car.

By the way $35 valet per day.... even for a few hrs or the whole day. Self parking isn't allowed!!!

    So NOT coming back!

It's really a shame that Hilton can not offer a five star quality hotel at this beautiful location.

I recently stayed here for two nights and was really looking forward to it. I had some saved up points and thought this would be the perfect time to use them. I am the kind of person that would enjoy writing a five star review but the Hilton Bentley is undeserving.

From the moment I arrived I didn't feel the typical Hilton warm welcome that I have become accustom to during my travels. I travel 3-4 nights a week within the Hilton line and feel I have as fair a judgement of the brand as anyone.

At arrival the staff was not knowledgeable. They could not give me clear direction on amenities such as breakfast, time I would be able to check into my room, or perks of being a diamond member. I felt the front desk was turned off when I asked if I would be eligible for an upgrade. Maybe I am taking this to personally but I have many choices when I travel, also many more affordable options. I enjoy the Hilton line for the care I have grown accustom to and also the ability to earn points. Instead of being treated as a loyal customer I was treated as a cheap young man who was clearly outclassed. I didn't appreciate that.

I wont go into details of room services being an hour late (literally) with a bottle of wine, outlets in the room not working, the struggle to have fresh towels in my room or being placed on a floor that was being renovated. I don't believe any paying customer should be placed on a floor that is having work done on it. The entire floor including my room smelt like paint. Also the gentlemen working outside were removing floor molding. To me this is not the quality a four star Hilton Hotel should want to portray.

Lets talk about the positives. The beach access was amazing. The staff that worked outside were even better. Kind and polite. Informative of the area and very friendly. Maybe they were kind due to the possibility of a tip but hey... I'm ok with that. Nice is nice.

To wrap this up I hope to stay at this location again and have a better experience. Until then I will not refer to this location as the Hilton Bentley.... Instead the Hilton Hoopty.

Some friends and I stayed here for a weekend using points to pay for the room. If I had paid cash, I might have been a little more demanding. The property is out of the way of the main action but within easy walking distance and that means the thumping bass of passing cars and clubs will not bother you. I liked this aspect. The room was nicely appointed. The concierge was very helpful and made us a dinner reservation at Quinn's for dinner (which was delicious). The doormen, bellmen and front desk staff were very professional . But housekeeping failed us twice. We called for more towels two separate times and they never came. And the radio/iPod dock did not work (we forgot to report it so I won't blame the hotel for that.)  The complimentary breakfast is pretty good. The beach club perks are nice. I would stay here again.

The staff were very nice and friendly. My room was very nice-- the bathroom was amazing-- although I couldn't figure out how to work the shower faucet- but once I did-- it was lovely. One complaint is that I was here for work- up early and back late and it was very noisy at night-- constant music playing, so it was hard to sleep. Also, the entrance of the hotel was hard to find-- its on the side street, not the main street.

Overall rating went from very good start to very poor. Am a local, decided to do a stay cation for the weekend and on my last day had a moment of misery over at beach club when there seems to be a disconnect with staff here. End result, when shared why my name was not on hotel list, their response was "sorry you must pay additional for the beach chairs even if you were informed by desk differently" this is after consulting with manager on premise. Clearly they don't know the importance of delivering excellent customer experiences or honoring what was stated by the desk. i I have decided I will not recommend this place to stay given there is an entire beachfront of hotels that would do otherwise. Plus very noisy at night and did not sleep well. For the money, try someplace different in miami beach. Hilton Bentley manager Tom does not honor his staff's code or keep up the Hilton brand to the customer and would rather be right.

Great location but the hotel itself falls short. The beds are awful. My wife and I didn't get much sleep. We did however have a amazing view of the ocean. Also things weren't keep up to par. The shower leaked onto the floor in a massive pool of water after each use. There was a shelf in the shower that was falling off the wall. Also the plumbing was broken and half way off the wall.

But pat all of that I can see some value in this hotel. Easy walking distance to the restaurants and no more then 9$ cab ride to Lincoln as well.

Wow...what an experience that was!  I am a Hilton lover, but this boutique-type Hilton was a first for me.  My friend & I were only staying 1 night to celebrate my birthday and I used my Hilton points for the stay.  To my surprise, we were put in a gorgeous suite on the 9th floor with a wrap around balcony and an amazing view!  We had a full kitchen & were suprised at how well stocked it was with pots & pans, dishes, cutlery & even placemats.  And thanks to the full size fridge, we could munch on a midnight snack of our leftovers from dinner after a night on the town shakin a tail feather.

Although the pool itself is a little small, the area surrounding the pool is large and has chairs and a few outdoor beds for you to soak up the sun in luxury.  They also offer various kinds of sunblock in the pool area as well as some aloe if you happen to stay in the sun too long.

The hotel is also oceanfront with access to padded beach chairs & umbrellas ($30/day) and a beach butler who will bring you any number of items from their menu - beer, cocktails, salads, sandwhiches, etc.  Can you tell how we spent our time there :)!?

Granted I am not used to staying in such nice accomodations, but I have had my fair share of nice hotel stays and this was one of the best!  The staff was very accomodating - especially the concierge; wish I could remember his name.  He was this cute little Swiss-frenchman who was happy to help us out and seemed indifferent to social status.

I came to South Beach to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday! I travel 3 weeks out of the month and decided to use my Hilton points at the Hilton Bentley (because the Hilton Grand Vacations was full).

The Hilton Bentley is right on the beach but about at least a mile away from anything else we wanted to do.
The rooms were big and clean, and the decor was satisfactory. Although, they used air freshener in the hall that was overpowering.

What would make the stay better:
    1. upgrade furniture in common areas 2. Charge less Hilton points per night (more like 50,000 points vs 80,000 points per night).

    Overall takeaway:
This hotel was great for a free stay but I would not have paid for it out  of pocket.

BENTLEY BEACH CLUB is what it said on the Gilt City deal.  I purchased a spa day voucher for massages and beach access for two. The beach is spectacular, but the spa leaves much to be desired.

We started our day with massages.  To call the space a "spa" is quite misleading.  It is tiny and closet-like.  "Reception" is a single bench.  It's the only place to sit while they find your appointment in the computer and ask you to sign a release form.  Then, you are shown directly into what seems like the changing room in a store for your massage.  No locker, no slippers, no robe, no shower, no towels, no nothing.  "I'll step out while you get undressed and lie under the blanket on the table." So you unceremoniously pile your clothes on a little stool and the masseuse comes back in.  There's barely room enough for her to stand next to the table, but she's nice and the massage is ok.

After that, we decide to go out to the beach.  Strange, but it seems that the design of the hotel doesn't account for this eventuality.  If you walk through the entire Rodriguez restaurant, you can go out the back to the pool area.  Do you really expect beach-goers to go trooping through your restaurant? Whatever. The pool is nice, but we wanted the beach, so we go out a little gate toward the ocean-- oops!  The gate locks, and we're not hotel guests so we can't go back in.  Oh well, we find our way across a little bridge to the sandy beach.  The attendant greets us by saying gruffly, "Beach close at three!" and then he sets us up with an umbrella and our chaise lounges.  We contemplate how exactly he's going to close the entire beach at 3:00 when the sun is still shining, but then we realize we haven't changed into bathing suits yet and we have to figure out how to get back into the hotel without a room key.  You walk back across the little bridge, around the fence enclosing the pool area, through the valet parking area, in the front door, through the lobby, to the women's restroom, and then change, and then decide whether to walk through the restaurant in your bathing suit and cover-up or through the valet parking area.  This is ridic.

Finally, we're on the beach, enjoying the breeze, the blue sky, the sound of the sea, and solitude.  It's just us and a quiet couple a few seats away, and then, what?!  The attendant sets up two more chaise lounges right next to us.  It's a couple, with an INFANT.  That SCREAMS. and screams. and screams.  Until the parents are screaming, too.  At each other.

We never get to see how the attendant will roll up the sandy beach and send everyone away, so he can close promptly at 3:00 as he promised because we're outta there.

The beach is beautiful, but that's in spite of Bentley Beach Club, certainly not because of it.

This is probably my least favorite Hilton. Stayed here for 3 nights using Hilton reward points (thanks mom!).

Pros: Loved the rewards present that is given which was a bottle of red wine and 2 bottles of water, I don't enjoy red as much as sparkling or white so when I randomly saw a staff person in the elevator with bottles of sparkling, I asked if we could switch and he said that was cool (win!!); pretty solid continental breakfast; yummy fruit infused water (orange, lemon, mint, limes) in the lobby; really warm pool with easy access to sunscreen, aloe vera and towels, lastly, close to the beach, just 5 minutes from the hotel

Cons: Very slooooooooooowwwwwww check-in. Took 3 people by the time they sorted stuff out, there was a line of people behind me; called for an additional cot to be put in the room, nothing for 3 hours until I had to call again and they finally brought it in; also the hot tub had way too much chlorine one day and all of us ran out of there because it felt like our skin was burning; rooms aren't that big - its definitely the smallest room I've stayed in at a Hilton; lastly, continental breakfast is only for 2 guests and if you want eggs, you have to pay $5 extra for the hot meal stuff (eggs, bacon, omelets, etc.) and on the last day of our stay, we were charged $22 for breakfast since we were no longer considered guests.....

Like the hotel    Great location and love being right on the beach.   Good breakfast for diamonds.

Two reasons I am giving this four stars instead of five.

1st reason is the huge number of points required for a free stay.   I use to be able to stay for 50,000 points and they raised it to 150,000 points.

Other complaint I have is the resort fee they charge diamonds now.  A diamond spends over 2 months a year at Hiltons and/or over $12,000 a year at Hiltons and they charge us a resort fee????

I was in Miami for the AllState half marathon this past weekend and was staying at the Hilton Bentley for 3 out of the 4 nights I was in town.

Being a Hilton Honors Diamond Rewards members, I expected some VIP service and was really happy when I actually did.

The room for my 1st night was on the 6th floor in the West Tower, was very well furnished, with marble floors, nice bed and a complimentary bottle of wine. The front desk agent that checked me in (can't remember her name) was very pleasant and helpful.

The next day, I was upgraded to a 9th floor 1 bedroom suite with a wrap-around balcony with an absolutely fantastic view of the ocean. The balcony also had 2 reclining beach chairs to hang out in.

But its not the great rooms and facilities of this hotel that struck me the most - its the service. The folks at the front desk, Paul in particular, were absolutely fantastic.

They were knowledgeable, friendly, thoroughly professional and very efficient. The same goes for the staff running the Bentley Beach Club. They really made me and my guests feel special and very welcome at the hotel.

Among the best service I have received at a hotel, and I travel a LOT!

It was truly a pleasure to stay here and whenever I am in Miami next, will make it a point to come back!

This place is amazing! I had a huge oceanfront suite that was bigger than my condo. The granite floors, full kitchen with minibar, the wraparound balcony and two huge plasma TVs made this the ideal hotel room. It's on Ocean and 1st, so you can walk up and down Ocean Blvd and don't need your car for the whole time you are here unless you actually want to leave South Beach (but why would you want to do that?).

The staff is friendly and they have free happy hour Mojitos. The beach in front of the hotel is amazing. They have lawn chairs and cabanas and a staff of 'Beachtenders' to help you with towels and drinks. As an additional plus a lot of the beautiful women sunbathe topless and since the beach out front of the hotel is only open to guests, it keeps the riff-raff from interfering with the peaceful area.

The pool is awesome. I know some other reviews said it's too small, but I disagree. It is a normal size pool and they keep it very clean. More importantly than the pool itself is the set up for laying out next to it. The bartenders come right over to your lounge chair to offer delicious alcohol, food or water whenever you want it. They give you towels and they are very polite. The pool area also has a massage booth (I didn't use it, so I can't really comment) and several more intimate lounge beds in the back where couples can lay out together or groups of friends can gather.

I give it an extra star for the minibar, which is actually inside of a full size refrigerator. Nobody seems to have those anymore. Sometimes I want to drink small bottles of liquor without having to walk to a store or a bar. You can do that here.

A boutique hotel operated by the Hilton Corporation.

We were in Miami for the ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon that my bf was running (half marathon). We booked a room, but requested an upgrade without much expectations because it's a hotel with not so many rooms and that weekend was a busy weekend because of the marathon. When we checked in, we were blown away by the level of service and attentiveness that they gave us. They recognized my bf as a regular and upgraded us to a full suite on the top floor with a wraparound balcony and view of the ocean. In addition they gave us the full breakfast (access to the omelet bar and the hot buffet).

The suite was amazing. Beautifully decorated rooms with sleek modern European furniture. The balcony was incredible. We loved just lounging out on the balcony and looking out to the ocean. I had a view of the marathon from my balcony. It was like watching an army of ants swarming Ocean Dr.

The breakfast was delicious. The guy making my omelet was really attentive. When he realized that it would be a while before my omelet was done, he told me to sit down and that he'll bring my omelet to me. There was a wide selection of things to eat (pancakes, sausage, bacon, ham croquettes (delicious), fresh fruit, oatmeal, pastries, etc). We stuffed ourselves.

We also loved that the outdoor hot tub actually had hot water (I hate hot tubs with tepid water) and the lovely large cushioned reclining beds.

While NY was freezing, I was napping under the warm gentle Miami sun.

I was super nervous about staying here at the HIlton because the prior weekend I had booked a "4 star" hilton in Tucson and it was awful. There were bugs, mold, and very run down. When I contacted hilton I was told that this was their 4 star resort.

I would have changed my reservation but it was non-refundable, and now I'm glad that I didn't. It was an AWESOME hotel! And I was nervous about not having a good beach view and after  talking to Amber she made sure everything was perfect for our stay!

I am so happy that Amber, and the Hilton Bentley helped redeem my thoughts on the hilton brand.

I loved the beach access as well as the beach 'guys' who set up your lounge chair and umbrella. I also loved that their rooms had full length windows to see the full scenery!

Thanks again Amber! You were great!

Not great but not bad either! Location is in a quiet part of South Beach but it has beach access which is really convenient! The hotel provides 2 chairs and towels but I'll warn you that stuff is really old and ghetto! Their pool area is really small. Not really cool enough to lounge at. The jacuzzi is on the fourth floor I believe, same floor as our room. That was also really out dated but I enjoyed it because we pretty much had it to ourselves the whole stay. Maybe people just didn't know about it? We had a partial ocean view room. You could just see a little bit from the balcony. Speaking of...we were literally next door to that Descano beach club and although I didn't SEE people there, we HEARD music blasting. Damn. Don't book a room next to a club. DUH...Front desk staff - not the best at all! In fact, the girl was more busy flirting than helping. Oh Miami!! Rooms were not bad but definitely needed more lighting. Was too dark. And yes needs a bit of an update but wasn't terrible. Rooms in South Beach are expensive so I suppose for the location it was a decent deal. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

Property was in a great location and was attractive.  Overall service was terrible. Pool service almost non existent as the staff were always hanging out together and could not be bothered. The cleanliness of the pool cushions were terrible, room service was bad, products in the bathroom were previously used, no sugar or creamer with room coffee station and the check in process a nightmare. No towels at the pool and when asked the person working said it was not there job. There was one person to check you in and the line of people unacceptable. Overall the staff had a terrible attitude and made for a bad experience. I would be cautious staying there and not up to Hilton standards.

Stayed here last Sunday august 3. We have stayed there now three years in a row so my review is truly based on overall experiences here. Located at the end of miami beach and good location. Nikki beach is next door and yes it's loud. I enjoyed the music from my balcony. I had a beautiful ocean front room first time and this tine. These rooms are very very nice, since it was my birthday and my husband has diamond hilton status we were also sent a birthday gift of presecco and strawberries and dulce de leche. So yummy. We had dinner at hakkassan this time at fountainbleu and not here at Cuban restaurant, we did though first time. It was good. Breakfast here was good especially the omelette and crossiants. Oatmeal was just ok....too runny. I love the views. Johnathan at the front desk helped us at arrival and departure.

Only issue at breakfast the table had lose screw and it ripped my pants. It didn't actually hurt me. They were kind and after a call the next day they offered to waive the $35 parking charge to pay for the pants. That was agreeable.

I turn 50 next year and I can't wait to be back!!!! Going to miami.

This place is decent. Our room was actually spacious and the restaurant downstairs had phenomenal flamenco music at night even though the bartender was surly. The pool was ok. The beach nice. Why only two stars?  Let's talk about the porn film that was being shot two doors down from us. That's right. I said PORN!  It started when we overheard an odd conversation between the director, the videographer and the makeup girl in the elevator. It sounded "off" just enough to arouse my suspicion and so I went to the front desk to mention this. I explained that they were also talking about illegally entering the rooftop for some "special footage". The woman at the front desk told me that there was a wedding and they were more than likely setting up for that.  I disagreed but had no further evidence to present and so returned to our room. Upon exiting the elevator we encountered a handful of people in the hallway where among them were the director, a Spanish interpreter and a young actress. They were engaged in the activity of the director explaining to the interpreter to retell to the actress the scene description where "Everyone in the room will be partying and when you walk in, everyone stops partying and comes over to you..."  This just didn't sound like any wedding video I have participated in... Oh, and there was a guy sitting on the floor next to my door, adjusting the settings on a video camera. Annoyed at the lack of privacy and the fact that we stay at nicer hotels to avoid sleaze and bad behavior, we went into our room pondering what to do. At that point, we started to walk out to our balcony to discover that the "party" from two doors down, had spilled out onto their balcony and we had a front row seat to the most unusual wedding video ever shot... Three young girls in their underwear, a guy dressed like a cheesy fake cop and an angry looking Little Person throwing trash off the balcony. And when I say Little Person, I'm not talking about ring bearers and flower girls... I mean a grown man of a certain small stature. So we phoned the front desk and asked for the manager. We didn't get speak to the manager but they sent her up to talk to the people. We saw her talk to them for about a minute. Didn't hear the conversation but all parties chuckled a bit and then she left. We left and went to the beach. All day we dreaded going back up to our room. We even walked by the hotel and saw the guy shooting video from the rooftop down to that balcony. It was all so bazaar. I guess they have to shoot porn somewhere. I just didn't expect that it would be right next door to me in my only weekend to relax. We also felt uncomfortable at the prospect of some creepy guy hanging right outside our door after we left, knowing that the housekeeper would soon arrive and prop our door open while she cleaned. What if not only the management were being paid off but also the housekeeper? What if they let them into our room to shoot from across the balcony?  It all just made us question the security of the hotel as well as the management.  We will never stay at another Hilton again. So much for brand loyalty. It's not worth all that!

Being a local, I can't say anything about their rooms but after spending a spa/ pool day at the HB today I feel compelled to review this joke of a place. First of all, the fact that they call it a "Private Beach Club" is laughable. All they do is charge an arm and a leg for beach chairs and umbrellas on a public beach!

The pool area isn't exactly great either. The pool itself is small, the chairs are all cramped together, the white chair cushions don't look clean and the towels are all thin from multiple launderings. Too many obnoxious kids splashing all over the place. The cabana beds look dirty, as do the chaise lounges.

The pool menu is uninspiring, drinks ridiculously expensive ($12 mojitos in plastic cups). The restaurant is empty for a reason. It's equally overpriced. Not sure what they charge for rooms but there are much better hotels in SoBe.

The Hilton Bentley Miami Beach is located in South Beach at the intersection of Ocean Drive and 1st Street.  If you have never visited Miami Beach, let me give you a little orientation.  Miami Beach is located about seven miles east of Miami proper and is connected to the mainland via bridges.  Miami Beach is generally divided into three areas: South Beach, Mid Beach and North Beach.  Though there are no exact dividers, South Beach is usually considered to be between 1st Street and about 23rd Street.  Mid Beach is between 23rd Street and about 63rd Street and anything north of that is North Beach.

Though technically the Hilton Bentley is in South Beach, it's located in a quieter part of town.  The majority of the bars, restaurants and shops of South Beach are located along Ocean Drive, Collins and Washington, between 5th Street and 23rd Street.  There are a few bars and restaurants south of 5th Street but it's primarily a residential area with hotels and condos.  So if you're looking to party South Beach style, you might want to stay somewhere north of the Hilton Bentley.  But if you're looking for a place that's within walking distance to the action but far enough for you to rest and relax afterwards, then the Hilton Bentley might be the place for you.  And if you're worried about walking, don't.  These are small blocks and cabs are plenty around here.

First off, this is a boutique hotel.  If you're expecting a large resort with multiple pools and lush gardens, you will be disappointed.  The entrance to the hotel is located on 1st Street and parking is $35/day (valet only).  The hotel is small but nice.  Check in was fairly quick and efficient and we were assigned room 612, which is a one-bedroom suite with a partial ocean view.  The hotel is divided into two towers and it's a little annoying if you are in the west tower.  You have to take the elevators up to the 4th floor, cross a covered walkway, and then take another set of elevators to your room.  Those staying in the east tower can just take the single elevator from the lobby up to their guest room.

Hotel amenities include a wellness spa, pool, fitness center and Jacuzzi.  The hotel does have direct access to the beach via the Hilton Beach Club.  It's basically an area of the beach located in front of the hotel designated for hotel guests only.  There are lounge chairs and umbrellas for rent and bar service.  The fitness center is located on the 4th floor.  It's on the small side but has enough to give you that pre-party pump before hitting the South Beach bars.

Room 612 is located in the west tower.  It's an 850 square feet, one-bedroom suite with a partial ocean view.  And they're not kidding about the partial ocean view.  You basically get a 20 percent ocean view and an 80 percent view of buildings, buildings and more buildings.  The entrance to the guest room leads you into the living and kitchen area.  Room amenities include a queen size sofa bed, 42-inch television, seating area, wet bar, full-size refrigerator, stove and coffee maker.  The refrigerator is fully stocked with wine, spirits, mixers and water and the cupboards are stocked with ceramic plates and metal utensils.

The master bedroom is spacious and well appointed.  Bedroom amenities include a king size bed, 42-inch mounted television, closet space, security safe and an attached balcony.  The bathroom is huge with an enclosed sink, walk-in shower, toilet and bidet.  Bathroom amenities include robes, slippers and Peter Thomas Roth products.

There is no Executive Lounge at the Hilton Bentley.  Wifi, breakfast, two mojitos at hour and two bottles of water are provided complimentary to Hilton HHonors Gold members and above. Breakfast is served at the in-house restaurant, De Rodriguez Cuba.  It was tasty and included an omelette station and buffet items such as fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast. On this trip, we did not have dinner at the restaurant but I'm sure it is amazing. The celebrity chef, Douglas Rodriguez, is a James Beard Award winner.

Overall, the Hilton Bentley is a nice stay.  The building is a little dated, the common areas of the hotel are starting to show their age and it's not located in the heart of all the action.  But other than that, the guest rooms are comfortable, well appointed and the employees are top notch.  Parking is relative cheap and the Hilton Beach Club is a great place to catch some sun and people watch on a hot summer day.

Hilton Bentley, by far, surpassed our expectations! I highly recommend staying here for many reasons.

We started the first few days of our trip ins boutique hotel around 15th street. It was dark, dingy, somewhat dirty and didn't have the feeling of a hotel. The atmosphere inside the hotel and room were just dull.

Day 3 we went down to the Hilton Bentley and it was absolutely gorgeous.
    Upon checkin we received:

    * 2 glasses of champagne
    * free bottle of wine and water in the room
    * 2 free mojitos at the bar
    * 2 glasses of champagne each day
    * free padded beach chairs/umbrella each day
    * free champagne at the beach each day

Beyond the freebies, the room was awesome. We didn't have a direct ocean view, but could still see it from our wrap around balcony. The room was exceptionally clean and exceptionally large! A full kitchen with massive bathroom, walk in shower, big tub, and a giant king size bed!

The 2 television's aren't just news channels and international soap operas, we got all the movie channels (Showtime, HBO, Cinemax and Encore) + awesome music channels. It was nice to turn on the music with a drink and open the balcony drapes in the evening.  The wifi was free also!

Direct beach access + a very clean pool with plenty of chairs and cabana lounges. Outside bar with restaurant (inside and outside) was awesome.
If you're a hilton honors diamond member, you also get free breakfast the am - and it's a great big selection of food and drink.

I highly recommend this hotel. The only slight hiccup would be you have to walk a few blocks (to about 5th/6th street) for a variety of food and retail options, however, it's only about a 10-12 minute walk.

We will stay here again! Thanks for a great stay HB!

I guess I picked the wrong week to take a cruise out of Miami with the Ultra Music Festival going on. Hotel rooms were at a premium including this one at a nightly rate of $1436.00 or in my case 80K Hilton Honors points (Ouch).

Unfortunately we didn't get an ocean view room. Our view overlooked the city which would be fine except for the fact there's a lot of construction going on in that lower area of South Beach. Our suite did include a kitchenette, marble floors, spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and a pretty nice size balcony.

The location is great since the property is located on the quieter end of South Beach away from all the noise. The proximately to the beach is very good (right behind the main entrance) and the proximately to decent restaurants is also good.

I love my suite. The entire hotel is extremely classy, modern, and stylish. The room service, and food are excellent. The ONLY issue is the wi-fi....it's free, but never a consistent connection. Perhaps they can invest in a better server. Every other aspect of this hotel exceeds my expectations!!

My husband and I decided to take a trip. We never went on a honeymoon and we have a baby due in 2 months, so we took an opportunity to get away and celebrate our honeymoon/babymoon. I didn't want to take too much time off from work, but I wanted a long weekend on the beach, so we decided on Miami. My husband is a Hilton points member, so that's how I found Hilton Bentley. It's only about 20 minutes away from the airport and we were warmly greeted. We walked into the most amazing smelling lobby. We were told it was the scent of jasmine white tea being pumped through the air system. Nice touch. The staff could not be friendlier. Everyone has been amazing. However, I wish I had done a little more research. This hotel is right next to Nikki Beach Club which blasts pounding music all day and most of the night and is not conducive to a quiet and relaxing stay. Not only could we hear that pounding music from our room, but there was a high school prom in  a party room just down from where we were trying to sleep. Trying to sleep between a nightclub and a prom is not my idea of vacation. There was a nice courtyard right outside our room, but it also had pounding music playing and waking up to that at 7:14am while on vacation pushed me right over  the edge. We politely complained to the front desk and we were told they were at full capacity, but would see what they could do. They ended up moving us from our really nice suite with a kitchenette, huge bathroom, and a partial ocean view, to an even nicer room on the other side of the hotel, farther away from Nikki Beach, and a full on view of the ocean. We can still hear the pounding music, but if we have to suffer, we're suffering from a beautiful room with an amazing view. The other amenities aren't bad. It's right on the beach and the resort fee gets you two beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, and water. They have a pool, which we haven't bothered with as we came for the beach, but our first day the pool area and bar closed early for a private party; pretty annoying since we paid a lot of money to stay here. The food at Rodriguez was pretty good. I got the Cuban sandwich, and it was actually really good, but it's pretty skimpy on the pickles; definitely ask for extra pickles. Their guacamole with roasted pineapple is pretty amazing. They also have cucumber or orange infused chilled water in the lobby, which is an appreciated touch. Not a place I would recommend if you're interested in  a quiet and peaceful oasis for a vacation, but pretty good if you're looking for more of a party scene. Also, be prepared to put yourself at risk for lung cancer because everyone around here smokes. On the beach, on the streets, on the restaurant patios....it's so gross. I'm 7 months pregnant and I feel like I've smoked more on this vacation than anywhere else. At least we're earning more Hilton points....but I have no desire to ever come back to Miami.

Best Hilton ever, hands down. We came here for our anniversary for one night and treated like royalty from the minute we stepped in. We were pleasantly surprised with rose petals spelling happy anniversary on our bed and a bottle of champagne and Dolce de lecce strawberries. Definitely a win!

The room was beautiful and view even better. I will certainly be back.

Long story short - I simply would not choose to stay here again.

I went here for a business meeting (at the hotel). There was a snafu with my reservation (which was my fault) and they amicably resolved it. But other than a courteous front desk staff, I can't give any kudos for anything else.

My room was the size of a cracker box. The meeting room was too small, breakfast was cold (and bad). Support staff for the meeting were slow and inattentive.

There's lots of other little things I could pick this place for but you get the gist. There are lots of cool, nice places to stay in South Beach. This is not one of them.

    Frowny face.

My boyfriend and I went here, this past weekend, for a Valentine's Day getaway/ get out of Chicago's winter weekend.
We called at 9 am to request a 1 pm checkin, and were told that a note would be made on our file. When we arrived, that was not even mentioned, and we were told that checkin was at 4 pm. That is exactly when we were allowed to enter our room. Fast forward to checkout, we called to request a late checkout, and were told no. I have no idea how it takes 5 hours to clean a room.
Second of all, the front desk staff was incredibly rude and stiff, especially the girl with the short blonde hair and no personality.
This is supposedly a high class hotel, that customers are highly paying for, no evidence of that was seen. Rooms had paper thin walls, service was horrible, the pool closed early for a "private" event, etc.
I will never be back, nor recommend this property.

Smelly rooms. Wifi doesn't work. Valet didn't even meet the car. Had to bring the keys to her. Noisy too. I'm sure this is normal for South Beach, but not the experience we expect from a high end Hilton hotel.

On the plus side you are near the action. Rooms have balconies where you can watch some of the action. Guess the age of the guy in the Lambo is a fun one. Count the number of plump women in tight dresses is another. Everyone seems to want to flaunt it here in South Beach, even those who should be hiding it instead.

The rooms are roomie and pretty nice. They have kitchenettes which is a bonus. Complementary coffee is nice.

The Make it right motto only goes so far. Can't remove the cigarette and bug spray aroma from our room.

I stayed at the Hilton Bentley for my very first trip to Miami with a group of girls for bachelorette party. The hotel was great, and our room had a huge balcony that wrapped around the suite, with a nice view of the ocean. Our room included a very large bathroom, a kitchenette, and a living room with a pullout bed. The pool was a bit small, but a highlight was that they had these nice lounge beds that you could hang out and relax on. Miami Beach was just a short walk around the corner from the hotel, wasn't too crowded, and they had beach chairs available for rental and a menu for snack or drink orders. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from Story Nightclub, Joe's Stone Crab, and Big Pinks. Highly recommended!
