One word - AMAZING!  I tried Vintro Kitchen on their opening night (08.14.14) and I can't wait to go back!  The service was top knotch and the food was incredible!  We started the night with the ceviche which was some of the best I have ever had - and living in Miami I have had my fair share.  It was very flavorful and tender.  For the main course, my boyfriend and I decided to share the their signature dish, the Florida Red Snapper, which comes out in a salt crust.  O.M.G.  It melted in my mouth!  Well worth the 30 minutes it took to cook.  We also had the orzo, spinach, and goat cheese side dish which paired very nicely with the fish.  At that point we were stuffed, but there is always room for dessert! ;)  We had the goat cheese cheesecake and it was delicious!  Not too sweet, but just enough to top off the meal.  I can't say enough about how great the staff was!  Our water and wine glasses were never empty and we were well attended too.  Service is often lacking on the beach, but that is definitely not the case here!   Very friendly and accommodating.  I will be back soon!

Miami Beach's best kept secret. The food and ambiance is first class. Be sure to try the octopus, rice, and brussel sprouts if you're there for dinner. And don't forget to checkout the rooftop pool and bar afterwards.

Adorable boutique hotel in South Beach.  New construction, means everything is shiny, clean and bright.  If you don't care about an ocean view, this is a great alternative just a few blocks from the beach (I took a jog and it was literally just 2 blocks).  Shuttle and amenities were really great - I didn't feel nickel and dimed which is always nice. Restaurant needs some work - food was amazing, service lacked.

The food was absolutely terrific. Every single dish was delicious. The ambience is great. The decor is beautiful. However, the service was absolutely appalling. I was shocked that on a Saturday night, the management would allow such an inexperienced waiter to work. It took forever to track down our server throughout the entire two plus hours of dining. Before we could finish our questions, order, refills on drinks, he would disappear. I would like to return to this restaurant because I enjoyed every morsel of food. However, if the service continues to be this atrocious, I would not become a regular.

We just returned from a great four-day stay at Vintro Hotel. The staff was very attentive, the room was great, and the roof deck -- right outside our room -- was a peaceful and relaxing place to hang out. We liked that the hotel was set back from the craziness of South Beach, but was only a few blocks to Collins Ave. and all of the action. We made good use of the hotel's bikes to explore South Beach and the boardwalk.

Amazing dinner. Our waiter Beni was so good to us. Food was amazing. Service was impeccable. Very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. A little out of the way but totally worth the $4 cab ride

Pretty awful drinks and mediocre food. The execution of the dishes were amateurish and most of the dishes seemed like they had been heated under a heat-lamp. The waitress couldn't quite explain how you "should" eat at the restaurant, spilled fat from a steak on my friends pants when serving it, dropped silver-wear and did not apologize! Yes she did go and get a wet napkin to clean his pants but still did not apologize. I asked to take a dish off the check that was uneatable due to the amount of fat floating around in it. I have no idea how this place got descent reviews... it was also quite pricey and not sure $$ is still applicable..

Amazing experience ! Vintro is sleek, clean and the décor is breathtaking. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. I must add the roof top was a favorite, after a glass of Wine then when return we had a amazing dinner from razor clams, ceviche and the best lamb chops and after had a wonderful chocolate mouse  dessert. Being a brand new place the service and the attention was flawless

A nice find.  Literally the best preparation of scallops I have ever tested and everything else was quite good too.  I found the service to be a little uneven (we kind of got lost after the first few plates arrived and we could not get anyone to brig a pepper mill).  In addition to the scallops I'd recommend the burrata and the steak.  Vegetable side dishes like cauliflower and brussels sprouts were a little bit baroque and over-produced - just ok.

We met the chef who seemed to do everything but cook.  He kept saying we were his slaves for the evening and he recommended pretty much everything.  It works.

I was pretty blown away by everything we had here. Yes, spendy. Yes, worth it. Top notch. I've been coming to South Beach for years, and finding restaurants that actually deliver based on the amount you have to spend is a challenge -- there are so many tourist traps, and so many places masquerading as fine dining. The Kitchen at Vintro delivers all the way through.  Service was totally pro, too. Italian-inspired modern cuisine with flair. Highly, highly recommend.

Dined there on Saturday night, April 25th. The place was just about empty, maybe two or three couples. The food was, eh okay...serving size was appropriate for tapas portions. Nothing really knocked our socks off. Really average compared to many of the other options in South Beach. However, we did not try anything from the butcher cuts portion of the menu which they are probably known for. The problem was our waiter, Eugene. He seemed generally disinterested in our questions about the menu, and in fact, walked away from the table while mumbling his response. We were all like....say what? He also could not open a wine bottle. He struggled with it so long, he took it out of site. Just not professional at all. There were two other gentlemen helping out the table that were great, attentive and friendly. They really should hire servers that care about being there, not just in body, but in mind as well.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place one night  after we figured we needed to  put our walking shoes on.  This was    due to the 100's  of bikers that invaded our neighborhood during  the critical mass bike ride.

I have been a resident in South Beach since  1992 and it  is always a BEAUTIFUL thing when a hotel/restaurant can pop out right from  under your nose.  BUT  the hotel is  not just another hotel;  it is detailed with art work  from the elevators (architecture  books galore) to the 3rd floor roof top  lounge that has  an  amazing port hole which spies  down into the lobby. Think Alice and Wonderland  rabbit hole.

And than the RESTAURANT WOW!!  A long narrow road with a semi open kitchen.   It reminds me of a  very cool spot  I once visited  in the East Village of  NYC.   Oh so cool  with a  very friendly staff   and extremely   tasty food.   The  Branzino  was  light, delicate and flaky and the  lobster risotto had a wonderful chili pepper kick!!

And wow what was here  in the  location a year ago, 6 months ago, can't remember...  But  so glad VINTRO  is here now, right in walking distance from my home.

The rooms I can only imagine!!!

OH YES  !  And don't forget to look at the quote above the bar!!  EYE CANDY FOR THE SOUL!

Can't say anything bad about this place.  Friendly, helpful staff, cool and clean rooms, interesting art, great music in the lobby and lounge, complimentary champagne at check-in; free shuttle service to locations in South Beach.  My husband and I planned a trip to Miami to escape the winter for a few days.  Just being in warm, sunny weather was enough to put us in a better mindset, but this hotel only made things even better.  We were even upgraded to a suite, free of charge.  This is a relatively new hotel with very high ratings on several websites already, and after staying here, I can understand why.  If we're lucky enough to return to Miami, this will be our first choice for a hotel.  The service and atmosphere was amazing.

Delicious, unusual food and incredibly friendly staff. It was our server's first night and he did a fantastic job, and his teammates were there to support him when he needed help. Drinks were divine, food was on par.  Great atmosphere. Bring a sweater if you get cold, the AC was very effective. We can't wait to return!

This was a diamond in the rough! Minutes to Collins, the beach really anywhere and if you need a lift they have a free shuttle to drop you where you need to go or bikes to take around town. We could not have been happier with the location, the staff the locals we met at the bar! The first night we were there we met a local at the lobby bar who gave us, yes gave us, tickets to the 100 year birthday of Miami Beach where we saw Andrea Bocelli, the Bee Gees and Gloria Estefan. Incredible!!! From the second we arrived we were greeted with champagne from Oxanna the beautiful Ukrainian bar tender who was an absolute sweetheart and the best of the best of where to go and what to see. We were here for WMC and Ultra music fest. Fernando was the man! Told us where to go set everything up. Miguel the director of the hotel and Luis (our new best friends) were awesome ran in to them out and they hooked us up!! What an amazing experience without these people and the hotel itself we wouldn't have had the trip we did. Coming back here over and over! This is our new favorite in South Beach! Loved this place and the people.

UPDATE #2: Another middling experience last evening, this time at the bar. The bartender (bleached blonde, Russian sounding) was a mixture of condescending and inattentive. Bread came out stale, was replaced but only after we asked. My friend asked her about the rosé and she was told well you should know the rosé by now you come here all the time. What? Attitude-rich service that sadly Miami Beach is known for. Unfortunate.

Very cool and creative menu. We have been here many times and tried a variety of things, but we always get the calamari bruschetta. Each dish has a unique flavor and everything we have had has been great. This is our new restaurant to bring our friends when they come into town. The staff is friendly and their drinks are also very good.

The chef has even come out and introduced himself on more than one occasion, even giving us a new dish to try one time, which wasn't on the menu but very delicious.

Great experience and courteous staff. We rode in the hotel shuttle, which was a nice resource. The hotel is very nice and clean; rooms are a bit small and hallway often cluttered with housekeeping items throughout the day. The rented beach lot is a bit far. Overall good experience and would return.

Delicious! Everything we ate here was great, but it was a taddd pricey for what you get. I'd recommend the buratta, the brussels sprouts, and the cauliflower. All perfect. The hangar steak was delicious too - not chewy, and cooked perfectly - and the grilled octopus was fresh and flavorful.

Try to save room for dessert because the chocolate mousse with sea salt is phenomenal.

Our waiter was great - very attentive (and very cute!) - and everything came to the table quickly. He made recommendations and steered us away from one dessert telling us it just "wasn't the best".

Drinks were fantastic and we got there before happy hour ended which made them far more affordable.

All in all a great evening.

Had a horrible experience there several months ago. Service was unbelievably slow for important simple requests and the staff made some horrible errors. The worst part is the manager acted like he was going to help but did absolutely nothing to remedy the error. Expect more from this kind of hotel in south beach.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. We received our complimentary champagne and were shown to our room. The room was very clean and had a high quality Samsung TV with HD DirecTV. This is definitely a hotel for adults as the shower has no doors and the person showering is clearly visible from the bedroom. Amenities are top notch, this is the only hotel I've stayed at that provides double ply toilet paper. One caveat is that they use a very strong perfume for the room that is extremely overpowering - noses beware.

There is a roof top lounge and pool area that is part of your resort fee. Had it not been for the extremely hot and humid weather, the roof top area would have been an excellent spot to relax.

There is also a free shuttle included in your resort fee but do not be fooled by the stated "10 mile" radius. They will only take you within Miami Beach between 1st and 40th Streets. If you're staying for a cruise at the port, the shuttle will not take you despite the distance being only 6 miles.

Absolutely amazing hotel!! Love love love the vibe. My husband and I stayed at the Vintro after an AirBnB disaster. We were so thankful to have found this little gem and will absolutely return on our next trip to Miami. BONUS: Alena at the front desk made us feel so welcome, we really felt at home here :)

Two nights of paradise at the Vintro Hotel in South Beach.

The Vintro is a unique boutique hotel two blocks off the main street in South Beach. It's trendy, hip, modern, clean, and well thought out down to the last detail. Owned by a Venezuelan entrepreneur.

The personalized customer service is warm and welcoming, and they are able to give you a rundown of dining and nightlife options in the area. The Vintro has its own section of the beach (two blocks away) where you can use a chair or two.

Quick rundown: Free Wi-fi, sexy pool lounge area (but small), free transportation around the area in a new Mercedes Sprinter type van, a Walgreens two blocks away, well-stocked mini-bar, Illy coffee machine in each room, lots of cable channels for you room zombies, and an excellent restaurant.

The only slight negative is the distance from all the action in South Beach. It's a 7-10 minute walk to most action, including the expensive and swanky Delano Hotel (head there for some nightlife action, their bar "FDR" is excellent after midnight). So if it's a quiet hotel you're wanting, this place is perfect for you.

If you are staying in South Beach past check-out of 12 noon, you can keep your luggage with them all day if you wish. I even got a ride around town the afternoon after I checked out.

Book your room here and you won't regret it. A great place that I can't wait to return to.

PS: Make sure you hit the Lincoln Road Mall

If you haven't been to brunch here, you're missing out on the best experience of your life. For $64 (and an additional $30 for bottomless drinks) you'll get endless breakfast favorites along with a RAW BAR, local fruits and veggies, grilled lamb/pork/chicken/corn and choices of mimosas, bloody marys, sangrias and wine. The endless paella is one of the best paellas I've had in a while...and one of my parents is Spanish.

The hotel is beautiful, too, decorated in tons of art and history.

Don't let yourself judge a book by it's cover. The building and the area looks a little shady, however the restaurant itself is a hidden gem.

The service was impecable, friendly and the staff was knowledgeable. The setting is also very nice, fit for foodies, couples, and families. Recommendations:  The New York Strip, medium rare,  calamari, grilled lamb and paellas!  I heard there is an excellent brunch with a bloody mary bar and bottomless drinks on the weekends.
