An ok airport hotel. I ate at the seafood restaraunt next door which was pretty good. I had their breakfast buffet which was predictable. Free internet and printing in the business center. No real complaints.

We had to stay at this hotel as part of a tour group which departed the next morning.  We were not very impressed. The hotel is under construction, so it certainly detracts from the appearance. Service was good but not great at the front desk.  The rooms are small and the carpet in our room was nothing short of filthy.  The bed was okay -- not a terrible night's sleep, but nothing to rave about.  What upset us was that the shuttle left a few minutes early in the AM so we had to ask an employee to take us to the airport. He was SO gracious (Roberto), and he got us there right on time.  However, we tipped him $10 for service the airport advertises is free -- if you get there a few minutes before the shuttle leaves.  Overall, it's an "okay" stay but there are likely better places in the airport area.

In town again on business, again at the Crown Plaza.  This is a decent place to stay.

The good:
- Location, very close to airport, some shopping and restaurants (all by car)
- Free WiFi
- Large rooms, plenty of goodies in the bathroom
- Decent lounge food, open til 11
- Front desk staff

The not-so-good
- $13 a night parking
- SLOW Free WiFi
- No free breakfast
- Tiny, uncomfortable pillows

I'd choose the Hampton Inn and Suites, right around the corner, if I'm back in town again to make a comparison.

This hotel is OK but I've been in better ones. I reserved a King Exec room and all it was a 1 King bed room. Where was the "exec" in the room?

Second, the internet was very slow. Even in the business center.

Last, the "processed" food is very expensive. Would get your money's worth at the Latin resturuant accross the street.

Not bad, definitely not great.  Hotel staff is ok.  They directed me to the shadier part of the area when I asked if there was a convenience store nearby.  Of course, I didn't know they had done so until I walked into the area.  I kept checking my six every 30 seconds.

The breakfast buffet at the cafe (Cafe 950) is mediocre for the price.  They also add gratuity automatically which means you get the most half-ass service from the waitress.  The Latin Cafe across the street has better food and service for a better price.

They will add more to your credit card after you leave.   They added 5 bucks more to my original charge!

I didn't stay in this hotel, but I parked here during my flight to Peru. They sell parking spaces for airport parking.

I was hesitant to park here as it's a hotel and worried that the buses to come get me wouldn't be frequent enough to get back back to my car. They run every 20 minutes instead of every 10 minutes like most companies that specialise in airport parking.

But to my surprise, not only was it very easy to get to and from my car, but the buses were frequent. And it's about 3 dollars cheaper than the other parking lots. So if your on vacation for 2 weeks, you'll save a bomb.

The only setback is that it's a small parking lot so book early!

I'd stay here again. Nice, clean facility and good amenities.

We stayed on a points night and found the place to be nice.  We did order the steak burger and house salad from the restaurant downstairs and both were surprisingly very good.  The steak burger was a very pleasant surprise!

Fitness Center
Friendly Staff
Secured parking area
Close to movie theater and some highly rated restaurants - walking distance to all.

$13/day parking (one free day parking if you're a priority club member)
No free breakfast
Pool area is out of the sun mid afternoon with the height of the building to the west side.  (This is a con for me, some may consider it a pro)

Excuse my ignorance, but with the elevators being key-only operable, how do you get food delivered?

Stayed here 1 night and pleasantly surprised how welcoming the hotel is from top to bottom. From the shuttle bus driver to the room service, everyone had a great attitude. The room was clean. They even have this mini set in the room that consists of lotion, body spray, gel that's for relaxation. I'll definitely be back!

Very nice.  Under going some renovations but very roomy and nice amenities.  I enjoyed reading by the pool and running on the treadmill.  It was close to downtown, airport, South Beach, Coral Gables.  Pretty close to everything.  It's a little tough to get out of the parking lot but traffic is rough all around urban Miami.

I'd give it more stars if parking was free.  However, as a platinum club member I could have had free parking but I chose the free breakfast buffet (it was a better deal).

Very handy hotel for the airport... less than 5 minutes drive to the rental car return...

Nothing wrong with the hotel... clean, comfortable, quiet etc. but $13 for overnight parking was a little steep to be truthful...

We stayed here for its proximity to Miami International.  We had to be at our terminal at 5AM for our flight to Havana.

At our go time, they had coffee brewing, the van shuttle was on-time, and the driver most friendly.  Nice all around.

Well located to many things.  Try La Rosa Restaurant, about a three block walk.

Nice Wi-Fi.  Basic is free.  Great bed and great shower.  Very nice redo going on.

This review is solely for the long-term parking they offer-- I haven't stayed in their rooms, but their parking deal is definitely one of the best you'll find near the Miami Int'l Airport. Checking the car in was easy, and Genesis (the attendant) was  friendly and to the point-- a beautiful combination when you are rushing to the airport. The shuttle was ready to go as soon as we were ready to go (the driver was kinda just hanging out and took us as soon as we asked him to).

I do wish there was an indoor parking option, but at $5.50/day, it's a pretty good deal.

We stayed only 1 night.  Friendly front desk and a fast check-in.  Linda also gave me a good tip for dinner... New Chinatown Restaurant on South Dixie (see review).  Location of the hotel is terrific and staff attitude is very good.  This includes the parking lot attendants.

Afraid that the hotel is physically going down faster than their upkeep/housekeep.  The halls have been renewed but the room was not, run down carpet for example.  Also the bathtub appears not to have been scrubbed for some time so that the bottom appears to have grayish hardened scrum, something the nice new curtain cannot remedy.  Bed is very comfortable and we slept really well.

I suspect this is one of those IHG properties where they are procrastinating whether to make big capital investments or not.  Good that they manage to keep the staff motivated.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I have worked in the customer service industry for over ten years.

We stayed one night and promptly checked out in the morning at 5am to catch the shuttle back to the airport. At approximately 5:30am we realized that we left a pair of sunglasses in the room. I called the front desk, they sent housekeeping to our room and confirmed that we had left them there. The person at the front desk was able to describe them by color and brand. They offered to let the shuttle driver bring them to us at the airport on his next loop. We unfortunately were about to board our plane so declined and said that we would arrange for them to be mailed to us. They gave us a website to register with and arrange shipment in which we did.

For the next ten days, I called the hotel requesting an update and they could give me no further information other than they DID NOT have the sunglasses. I repeatedly was promised a call back from the manager and did not hear anything back even after leaving several messages for him. When he finally did call me back, he did everything but call me a liar and state that they were never found and they can't prove that we actually left anything in the room. I questioned how his staff was able to describe them to me by brand and color and he stated that maybe there was just a misunderstanding since glasses are left there all the time. SERIOUSLY?

I am appalled at not only the lack of response to our issue, but the almost laughable response to our issue. Not only did he decline my request to replace them but offered no remorse in doing so. He said that since they were not logged as found, they couldn't prove they had been lost in the first place.

Enjoy my nice sunglasses housekeeping. I will NEVER stay at a Crowne Plaza again and will make sure that I tell everyone about my experience! If I could give them ZERO stars I would!

From check-in to check-out, this was a solidly 'OK' hotel:  not luxurious but a clean room with a safe (which is great), a pleasant staff experience, decent breakfast buffet ($13-16, depending upon level), and a gym.

On the top floor, you can hear some flights overhead, but it is not noisy overall.

Without a bar, it Is a perfect jumping off point for the average traveler, but not a place where you'd want to have a fun evening.  For livelier action, the Marriott up the street is the place for you.

I had a wonderful experience here. My girlfriend surprised me with a one night stay here last weekend. She wouldn't show me the bill, so I can't attest to the price, but I can tell you that the hotel is gorgeous and clean. The staff is also extremely nice.

The experience was full of nice surprises. We were upgraded to a very lovely waterside room. Also, because it was my birthday, I was provided a happy birthday cookie (chocolate chips and M&Ms) and champagne at midnight by the staff.

The room itself was very comfortable and easy on the eyes. The downstairs lobby has some very interesting and edgy modern art. My only tiny piece of criticism is that they had some kind of empty container of complimentary cucumber water that they never replenished throughout my stay, so I never got to try it.

I did however get to make my own trail mix in the lobby after checking in. I threw in some granola and wasabi peas, which made for a great snack. I guess this is something they do in the afternoons.

In the morning, we had the breakfast buffet, which was absolutely delicious. I loved the spicy home fries, scrambled eggs and bacon. I also pigged out on the salmon.

I had a very memorable experience at the Epic and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again  next time I'm down in Miami.
