I was staying in room 207 on Thursday, August 23, 2012. Friday the 24th of August was my check out date. At 1 pm I heard a knock on the door and it was the cleaning lady who was asking us when she could clean the room. As my friend was staying upstairs in room 327 we exited the room to allow her to clean. I grabbed what I thought was all my things but since I was only heading upstairs I didn't think to check carefully. We went upstairs, I took a nap and upon waking up at 2 pm I realized I had forgotten my IPad. I checked on my IPhone for its location and it showed that it was still in the hotel. I called downstairs but was informed they were too busy with people checking out to let me know if the maid had turned in my IPad. Around 4 pm I called once more and was told that no one had turned anything in from my room. I was dumbfounded as I had not even left the building! I walked downstairs to speak to the Assistant General Manager on duty who escorted me back to my old room which was completely empty. I checked my IPhone for its location and it had been turned off. I explained to the Assistant General Manager that I had gone nowhere except a floor up and that when I initially called the IPad was showing in the hotel and he told me unless I called the police there was nothing he could do. My flight departed in an hour so this was obviously not an option for me. Not only did I pay 2 hotel rooms, I had my $600 item stolen with NO HELP from the staff or management on finding it when I had never even set foot outside the hotel. I was completely dumbfounded and disappointed. Now I have to fly back to Miami to file a police report so I can have my stolen item retrieved from their staff member. Will NEVER stay there again nor recommend it to anyone. Stay away!

Travel through Miami often and usually have a layover. I have tried several hotels in the airport area and still have not found one I truly like. It may be because I am not a huge fan of Miami. I enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. No issues. They provide an airport shuttle but you must reserve a seat with the front desk. Front Desk staff is very helpful. The have complimentary breakfast in the morning and free coffee in the lobby 24/7. WiFi is free too which is a plus nowadays. I would stay here again.

My best friend and I chose this hotel to stay at before our cruise vacation and it was GREAT!
The pics on the main page are accurate. Very new, or newly updated, and most importantly very clean. My friend and I had a massive room, or shall I say rooms?? A separate sitting area with a chair, couch, tv, desk and then our bed and yet another tv. We did have to go to a nearby hotel to have dinner, which was not a problem, and only a block away.
The following morning, we enjoyed breakfast in their dining area. Not just toast and coffee, but pretty much a full spread. That was much appreciated since we weren't sure when our next meal would be.
Our room total was around $120 and included transfers to the pier to meet our ship. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean room and remodeled or newer it looked like. Quiet room, nice staff. We didn't have the breakfast... parking was plentiful. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is bc this isn't a true 5 star hotel! It is very nice for what it is but doesn't have the amenities or luxury of a 5 star hotel. I'd definitely recommend!

- My room was clean;
- The bathroom was clean;
- Everything worked (coffee maker, microwave, mini-frige, TV, etc.);
- There is a power-outlet next to the bed!!!!!
- There's a parking deck underneath for shaded parking.
- The front desk is often staffed with one person, so expect some waiting.
- Breakfast was NOT ready at 6:00am, as advertised. No hot food yet, as of 6:20.
- The elevator was flaky, making weird, rapid, random beeps. Not confidence inspiring.
Overall, it's pretty good, and I might stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and had an overall very good experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient. We drove in and out of downtown Miami and Miami Beach and found it pretty easy from this location.
Parking was convenient and off-street. I don't know if the staff were sincere or not, but they claimed our parking was free because of our Marriott Rewards status (Silver Elite). We were not charged for it.
My only complaint is that the breakfast was disappointing. I think this was our first Fairfield Inn stay, so maybe its their standard, but the hot food was low quality. We have stayed at other Marriott properties that have higher quality hot food. We pretty much stuck to bagels and fresh fruit. For whatever reason, I'm guessing cost, the hot food felt like it was out of a Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast.
Oh, and this is out of their control, but the next door airport starts buzzing the building at about 6-7AM.

Decent room, seemed clean enough. Large comfortable bed. I didn't try breakfast. The 2 stars is for sticking me in the front of the hotel. Loud music from the bar across the street until 2 a.m. It was so loud I couldn't hear my tv (which I tried turning on when the music kept me awake). Hotel staff clearly knows the noise is a problem because when I mentioned it at checkout I was told "oh yeah, next time ask for a room in the back".. because clearly I should have known to do that in the first place! Next time I'll be skipping this hotel completely. If you're staying here do not stay in a front facing room!!

My husband were looking for a hotel near the airport and were fortune enough to find this one. As soon as you walk in it smells very clean and lobby area was spotless. Front desk staff as well as the shuttel bus driver were very friendly. When we walked into our room we were very impressed with how clean and fresh smelling it was. I can honestly say that its the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. The only drawback was the view from our window but can deal with that. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to miami.
