If you want a nice place to stay for work or play in South Miami, look no further.  The staff is AMAZING.  Upon checkin we were greeted with a warm sincere smile and told that we were "expected."  We are Hilton Honors members and I suspect that helped.  But I heard the same genuine interest for other members also.

The free breakfast in the am is hot, and good.  Coffee and tea abound.

Free USA Today paper.  FREE fruit all day.  FREE WiFi!!!  FREE shuttle to MIA!!!  CLOSE to shopping!!!  DADELAND!

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is a pillow for just about any taste on the bed.

Very very nice.  We'll be back.  :-)

Reasonable prices too.

I stayed here for two weeks while in Miami on business. This is a solid three-star quality hotel. Both of my rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor is quite a bit outdated; however, during my stay they had renovated the lobby and it looked much nicer and more modern when I left than when I had arrived, so maybe they will try to gradually carry that through the rest of the hotel. The free breakfast in the morning was very good; not your average continental breakfast. They had eggs, sausage, omelettes, bacon, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, bread, and english muffins with toaster. The coffee was always good and hot. I didn't utilize the business center, fitness area, or pool but they all looked nice. Free wi-fi available, a definite plus. My room the second week had a small fridge and microwave, which I always love to have. I prefer a hotel that has a bar/restaurant area, but not a major problem here as there are plenty of places nearby. The best part of this hotel was the always friendly staff. Each time I checked-in and out, I was greeted with a smile and asked how my stay was and how it could be better. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay and will definitely stay again when I return.

Incompetent is the only word to use, DO NOT let them help with any special events.(ie: weddings, reunions, etc)  Nothing was done the way we were told it would be even after double checking.  Breakfast is great if you want green mold on your food, YUMMY! They don't put the cookies out at night because people eat them, duh!

It's a Hampton, so there's not much to say. The hotel is old and slightly dingy, but it was nice of the staff to decorate for Halloween. The rooms seem like they've seen better days. I actually was confused because I thought there were stains on the countertop but then realized the "stains" were a pattern. I guess the pattern helps hide the dirt.

There is free wifi, parking, and breakfast, although there seems to always be a stash of free hot cocoa and tea available in the lobby (along with the usual fresh fruit). When I was there last month, the hotel was fully booked. The location is good if you plan on hanging out in the Dadeland area, and the rooms are about $130/night or so. I was there for work, so I will probably stay there again.

Lock your car. Don't leave any valuables in it. But mostly don't expect the hotel to help if your car is broken into.  They don't even have security cameras monitoring the parking lot.

I got to my room and I noticed that my comforter smelled like beer. I called the front seat and they sent the maintenance man with new sheets and blankets. He handed them to me and left. I guess I am supposed to strip the bed and make it.

At check-in the gentleman spoke entirely too much. It's 1 am, take my credit card and give me the room key. Upon entering the room there was a weird smell, not sure if it's from the humidity of Florida or what. The beds are comfy and the room comes equipped with a small fridge and microwave. I was here for about 10 days and the ice machine on my floor was broken for the duration of my stay. The Wi-Fi was horrible; going in and out does not make it easy when you're trying to work. The continental breakfast is decent, fruit, eggs, muffins, cereal, waffles etc. Breakfast gets extremely packed on the weekends and the bacon was always soggy. They have newspapers available at breakfast too. The parking lot fills up so be aware.

Totally fine Hampton Inn. Parking is a bit sparse. It's within walking distance to the Dadeland Mall at .7 miles. The free WiFi is slow and the paid wifi is only slightly better.
