    Great place to stay near the airport.  Clean rooms and the pool was a savior!  Much better than average continental breakfast.

    As a frequent traveler I had the chance to stay here since I had an early morning flight.  I really was not that impressed with the service or the property.  

    Checkin was a bit of a nightmare.  To be fair, there was only person but she was trying to deal with everyone and everything that came up at once, rather than deal with one issue at a time.  This meant that she ended up going back and forth and probably took look longer than if she just concentrated, apologized to everyone (the phone and garage too) and then tackled the issues.  In the end, every one had to deal with her.  No sincere apology  for delays or explanation.

    The room as ok.  The towels were seriously old.  Perhaps I just got a bad lot.  The reception on the TV was poor quality.  Also, there was free wi-fi but I kept losing the connection (maybe my room is too far away) but these things need to be addressed.

    My room key only worked on 1 of the 3 elevators and at one point I found myself stuck on the 9th floor until someone came by and helped me out.

    Breakfast is free but it is premade eggs (like fast food use) and a small selection of anything else.  

    I love Hampton Properties but this one did not pass the bill for me for what I have experienced before.  The truly sad part is that it is in my own back yard.

    Let me start off by saying, I did NOT want to stay at a Hampton Inn.  Not to sound too stuck up, but when staying at hotels, I usually like to stay at nicer places, with at least a 4 star rating.   AND It's not because im rich by any means, its just that im a big germaphobe and associate "expensive" with "clean".  I know i'm delusional, but that's none of your business.
    ANYWAY, We needed to stay somewhere overnight to leave on a cruise the next morning and chose this spot because of the shuttle service to the port.  
    Needless to say, im glad we chose this hotel and will stay again if we take another cruise.  Service was awesome, rooms were clean and big.  Bed was SUPER comfy.  OH, and it is very close to a CVS, Walgreens and places to eat.  
    When we arrived we were STARVING after flying all day from L.A. and the man at the front desk gave us some take out menus and we ordered pizza.  Pizza was delish !  It was a great way to start off our honeymoon.

    Fantastic service...

    My wife & I stayed here overnight.  We were flying out of Miami Int'l Airport the following morning for an island destination wedding.

    After checking in, we asked if Hampton would let us leave the rental car in their secured parking lot for a few days until our return.  The front desk representative (Jonathan) very courteously went & checked with his manager (Christina).  Not only did they say "yes", they beat the advertised online airport parking rate as a customer service gesture. What a pleasant surprise.

    As usual with Hampton; the room, Flat screen TV, free WIFI, cleanliness, pool, & breakfast were just great.  Our room also had a fridge.  

    We took their complimentary shuttle to-&-from the Miami airport.  This is hospitality management at its best!

    I haven't stayed here but my relatives have. They liked the hotel - it was clean, nice, and has parking options. I'm assuming it's similar to the one in Coconut Grove.

    The location is central - near the airport, the highway that goes to South Beach, and on 57th Avenue (Red Rd) that goes to the shopping area of South Miami.

    However, a car is needed if one does decide to stay here.

    Great hotel for the price. The room we had was clean and included a fridge. The pool and hot tub area was open all night. The only negative will be the outside noise and very thin walls. We heard the water running from other rooms early in the morning, and the noise from the hallway was loud. So I had to give it 4 out of 5. We only stayed for 1 night, but will definitely stay again.

    This hotel has all the amenities you need in a great location.

    It's near the airport which is easy for accessing car rentals and the florida turnpike, and it's also close to the rest of the local flavor in miami.

    Amenities - Free wifi, free breakfast, free hot tub and pool, free parking, free business center, free (and timely) airport shuttle

    Breakfast - Egg, meat, breads, cereals, fruit, bevs. The egg bagel is amazing. They could offer more bacon though.

    My only suggestions would be: a) more bacon on the breakfast, b) thicker walls in the rooms, and c) have the hot tub and pool open at night

    The Hampton Inn & Suites is a clean, convenient and safe place to stay.  It's not in the worst area, it's close to the freeway and the airport but you defintiely need to drive anywhere you want to go.  

    Friendly and competent staff, fairly quiet location and decent breakfast.  

    The gym is pretty minimally equipped, although there are several cardio machines.

    Great place to get really depressed.  If I ever contemplate suicide the Miami Airport Hampton Inn will be the place I go through with it.
    Its conveniently located to a bunch of chain restaurants, pharmacies and bad chinese takeout.

    We stayed here the night before leaving Miami because it has a free shuttle to the airport. If it wasnt for that, we would have just stayed at the Doubletree Grand, which is further away, where the service and cleanliness was much better!
    The place is cute. Service was ok, but no smiles! I work with people everyday and Ive had these sort of complaints. Experiencing it myself, I understand how they feel when you dont get that warm greeting.
    I didnt touch the shower walls, but my best friend did...and according to her, it was slimy! when I took my shower, I could see the smears. Kinda gross.
    I will say that maintenance was very prompt when we requested a few items. I also like the fact that this hotel was in a convenient area. Food, drug store, ect...all within walking distance

    Where to start... how about with Valerie, who works the AM shift at the front desk.  What an awesome personality!  Good morning sunshine!   It was almost wonderful enough to make me forget the young sourpuss who checked me in the night before.  (Hello, if you don't like people, don't work in the hotel industry!)
    If my review were just based on Valerie, and nothing else -- I would give them five stars.  *****
    Rooms are a good size, although the decor could use a little sprucing up.  
    I didn't like the security feature where you have to swipe your room card in the elevator to get anywhere.  But maybe they have to do that -- I'm not really familiar with how safe (or unsafe) this area is.
    The safe in my room was beeping all night and we weren't able to silence it.  Annoying!  
    This hotel is very conveniently located vis a vis the Miami International Airport.  Free shuttle bus runs every half hour.  Easy to pick up in front of the hotel; less traveller-friendly when you're trying to find it at the airport.

    Called hotel after noticing my reservation confirmation did not include a free shuttle service promised upon booking the room, through the reservation line, the previous evening. I spoke with the GM, Mr. Riofrio, who was unwilling to accomodate. I explained to Mr. Riofrio, the reservation line spoke to the hotel directly prior to making the reservation. Mr. Riofrio, whom I found to be quite snotty, was unwilling to budge. He also stated he would be happy to cancel the reservation for me if I was unhappy with it. Wow, the fact that Hampton Inn was willing to lose a patron over a free shuttle service told me they obviously don't care about their customers. Needless to say, I did cancel the reservation. The Marriott was very happy to accommodate.

    My company sentenced us to the Crowne Plaza.  I paid for this place out of pocket instead.

    I found this to be much better than the Crowne, but still not even up to snuff for a renovated Hampton.

    I chose this location based on reviews, then price.  I wished I'd have paid a little more and gone to a Hilton Garden Inn.

    Anyways, found the hotel to be a bit older, a bit more beat up, but still I slept well, and the shower's water pressure was fantastic.

    Some housekeeping missteps when I first arrived such as missing laundry bag in the closet and room AC off when I entered so room was set to high 70s.

    I found the suite to be old, and though it wasn't dirty, it didn't feel clean.  I personally wouldn't have used the fridge or any other kitchen amenities.

    The guy I dealt with at check-in was pleasant and the girl went out of her way to say Hi.

    Finding the hotel is easy, but pulling into the hotel is a chore with the way you're restricted to left turns off of 57th, forcing you to use 7th.  Food options around the hotel aren't very good.  There's a Wendy's and lots of Cuban places, and this awful 94th bomber group restaurant.  I suggest drive east to Miami Beach or west to Doral for any decent food.

    Across the street is Walgreens and on the other corner CVS, both open 24hrs.

    Hotel parking is a bit goofy, and I arrived so late my last night that I was instructed to park it in front of the airport shuttle.

    Free parking - free wifi - free breakfast......all good. Nice property with everything you need within walking distance. The staff however was less than accomodating (not outwardly rude, but not pleasant).....whenever I needed to engage a staff member (whether it was front desk or the maintenance staff), it always seemed like I was wasting their time by asking a question.....staff just didn't seem to enjoy their job (appear to be just "doing it for the paycheck" without any real passion for customer service type work). Aircraft noise is NOT an issue......however, hallway noise is. Mini-refer was a nice touch as well.

    I have to say the staff is extremely friendly.  I had a bit of an emergency and Jennifer from the front desk was amazing helping me figure out a solution.

    Older hotel but very clean and comfortable.  I would definitely stay here again.  It would be 5 star but parking is tight.  Staff is spot on and very welcoming and polite.  Great experience for me.

    I love this hotel. its clean and the security is nice. unlike other hotels they have toothbrushes, toothpaste and other amenities that you may forget. the wifi is lovely overall a wonderful hotel. I would recommend this stay. the staff is wonderful as well

    I stayed here with a friend for one night before an interview. They have a complimentary shuttle to the airport which is only 10 min away to getting here was very convenient. Check in was a breeze and they were super accommodating about a late check out and giving my friend access to the pool while I was away at my interview. The room was very spacious and had the extremely comfortable bed that I'm accustomed to at Hampton Inn. Something I found extremely helpful in this room was the plethora of outlets. Normally, I have to perform all sorts of contortionist acts to find an open outlet, but here they had basically a charging station for normal plugs and USBs right on the nightstand and on the side of the desk. Very convenient. The breakfast was very nice and filling. They had hot options as well as a waffle maker! something for everyone here. The potatoes were especially good! The location is very convenient to the airport, but, not very close to the Miami attractions. It was about a $20 uber ride to the south beach area. The immediate area around the hotel has a Walgreens, Publix, CVS and Starbucks across the street, but our Uber driver told us not to walk too far at night. One last note, the hotel had signs up saying that they were doing construction but we were not bothered by it at all. I barely noticed anything out of place. Overall, recommend if you need a place to stay that is convenient to the airport, but would look elsewhere if you wanted to be close to the beach.

    Stayed here for one night before our cruise!  Vickie was at the front desk when we arrived and could not have been sweeter!

    While here we went to a marlins game and the front desk called us a taxi which was here in just a few minutes!  When we came back they asked about the game!!

    The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.  My only complaint was the room being warm upon arriving. Took quite a while to cool it off.  

    Would defiantly stay here again!!

    A bit on the pricey side. It was $220 for four people and one room for one night. My friends and I were in Miami Beach and needed a place to stay. The only place that responded to us was this hotel (we called at least 10 different hotels). They were very friendly. The hotel is nice. The room is very clean. They had handwritten notes and a small bottle of wine for us. The continental breakfast in the morning was exceptionally good. It was a great stay overall. Highly recommended.

    Basic Hampton Inn, decent bed, standard breakfast fare all the things you'd expect from a Hampton Inn.
    The check-in was easy the desk clerk was pleasant, the room was as expected. The only drawback with the room was the safe which didn't work. I called and reported, they knew the issue but didn't correct it. Nothing major but would have been nice. I did report a slow drain and that was addressed quickly.
    The location is very convenient to the airport and about 25 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale and 15 minutes from Miami Beach and South Beach.
    Parking was in front of the hotel and they gave us a pass to put in the window, no charge for parking so that was nice.
    Drugstore, grocery, and restaurants are all within walking distance.

    Your basic Hampton Inn and it was a positive experience.

    Very nice hotel. Left my car there for a weeks cruise. The food wasn't 5 star but it did the trick. I won't take anything away for that because the room and the helpfulness of the staff well makes up for that.
