Stayed at this hotel during a recent conference and it was quite pleasant!  The hotel is just located off the airport so it's a good 10-15 minute drive, not to mention the hotel does offer complimentary shuttle service.

The hotel is fairly new, I'd say it's about 2-3 years old as it looked and even smelled quite fresh.  The decor was very modern and contemporary throughout the hotel.

The entire front desk staff, from morning to afternoon to evening were all quite friendly and accommodating.  But I have to say though when they get busy, they get slammed hard yet they remain calm and pleasant.

The room I stayed in was nicely furnished and was pretty spacious.  It featured the same amenities you'd expect from every Hilton Garden Inn, such as the adjustable bed, which is so awesome and comfortable, complimentary high speed internet, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and 32" LCD TV.  The bathroom however had a stand in shower, where the standing area was the size of a tub so you can literally fit two people in there.  The showerhead however was placed rather high and for as tall as I am, I had a hard time adjusting the settings.  My only complaint about the room was that the closet was very small, it had two sliding doors so the opening was barely big enough for me to fit my (carry on sized) suitcase in without scuffing the wall.  Also, the room I was in faced the industrial area with a view of the airport so, I also experienced quite a bit of the flight path noise, which was pretty much from 7am sharp to about 11pm.  A colleague of mine who stayed there too was facing the parking lot and said that she didn't hear the planes.

Their restaurants offerings were blah, it was the epitome of hotel food.  You know, overpriced and under flavored food.  But, since there aren't any restaurants withing walking distance it was either Mc Donald's/Denny's or the hotel...I choose the hotel.  The evening restaurant staff could use a bit of attitude improvement.  They weren't rude at all, they just could've been a little more attentive and warm & fuzzy.

The hotel gets a lot of the leisure travelers that are either staying prior/post cruise, which I learned the hard way as I was hoping to catch their shuttle to the airport but a family was catching it and they had more luggage and oversized souvenirs than people.  I told the front desk agent to call a cab for me because there wasn't any room, which she did and told me that they'd pay for it due to the inconvenience.  Way to go!  I didn't mind paying for it but, that was customer service deluxe in the act!

Overall, this hotel was great.  If I were back in the Miami area and needed to stay by the airport (and had a car) I'd stay here for sure.

We came in very early, just off a cruise and staying one night to avoid the busiest flying day of the year. Of course, we arrived hours and hours before check in. We waited in the lobby, which was comfortable but not our own room. At 11, a very nice man named Diego got us into our room. Perhaps he saw my husband nodding off in the lobby chair. Anyway, very comfortable room, close to the airport. A bathtub would have been wonderful, as of course there isn't one on a cruise ship! But that's just me. We are very grateful for their efforts in finding us a room.....

I have stayed here several times in past. Always a favorite rest stop.  This was arranged via Landmark Aviation. All the amenities one expects. Electrical outlets are adequate. Nice bedding and overall a very good stay.

I was a bit skeptical at first but was later very pleasantly surprised. This Hilton has plenty of complimentary parking and also complimentary wi-fi. If you're a constant traveler, those savings come in handy. If you're looking to be near the beach, just realize that you're 20 minutes away on the expressway from here. But depending on what you're in Miami for, this place is very convenient. The rooms are nice, have been remodeled and the customer service is very good. The lobby is nice as well. I'd definitely come back to stay.

CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND.  So My flight gets cancelled right when we are supposed to start boarding, no delays just straight cancelled.  I call my assistant and she gets me a hotel and texts me the number because I told her to get me one with a shuttle.  I call they say to go outside and wait for a van that says Hilton.  I waited for over 30 minutes without seeing any Hilton Vans.  I saw 4 marriotts, 3 sharetons, and 2 crown plaza, along with others boutique hotels.  NO HILTON Vans.  Finally I flag down a Hilton van after waiting about 4o minutes.
I get to the hotel to check in, i'm at the wrong hotel I was supposed to be at Hilton Miami Airport.  OK well I am not can you come get me? NO Ok can you please cancel my flight because I am a distressed passagener that you are not willing to help?  NO.  Diane or Diana (I feel so bad because she was so sweet and so helpful that I can't remember if her name was Diana or just Diane) talked to them on the phone, they put her on hold and even transfered her to 2 other people before they could do anything.
All in all I did stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, and I am so much happier that I did.  Come stay hered the rooms are nice and the staff is even nicer! They have a nice Pool restaurant and bar!!! Oh and it was also $40 cheaper!!!

The rooms were real nice.  Not too close to the Airport, about a 10 min drive.  Staff was friendly and helpful.  The only down fall, is the area which it is located in, apparently is a little rough.  My wifes Aunt and Uncle came down to see us and, they were really shocked we stayed in that area.
But other then that great time,  Bed was comfortable.  breakfast was a good Hotel breakfast.

The do have airport service.  Late check-ins also.

Shuttle apparently is not a 24 hour shuttle which is why I booked there so took a cab. Tv did not work at all. Continental breakfast starts too late. Bed was comfy though

This Hilton did not let my crew down. While they're under construction in the bar area & elevators they staff still made this place run on all cylinders.  Very helpful staff, clean rooms, nice fitness center. Loved my suite...clean, great layout, new tv.  I spent 7 days here & enjoyed the experience (except the food...ugh). There is an amazing manager at this location & she went out of her way for us.

    I recommend & will return.

Great Hilton Garden Inn. Much better than the Doubletree at Miami airport. This is a clean and cozy place. I highly recommend it.

This is what a Hotel looks like before it goes out of business.  Upon check in as a Hilton Honors Member I was given 2 small bottles of water as a gift.  In my room I found a bowl of mashed potatoes in the fridge waiting for me, gross!  Later the iron broke and the staff somehow could not find another. When I called for a wake up call no one answered the phone. Breakfast was good but they ran out of coffee to go.  No happy hour. At night they gave me two cookies, one burnt. The business center was a complete joke. Computers did not work and printer was out if service.  Stay somewhere else...

I've been going to Miami for about two years for business trips in the Doral area. This is hands-down the best hotel I've stayed at in that time!

Aside from being modern, close to the airport and major roadways, and the Dolphin Mall this place has the best customer service I've ever experienced in Miami.

Brace yourselves: The staff is actually polite, having fun, and willing to go the extra mile. In Miami?!? Are you joking???? That alone is worth staying here every time. Given how inhospitable the city is, this place is a freaking magnet of hospitality. It reflects well on the management for selecting who gets to be on the team.

It is close to the airport, so saying on a lower floor is key to avoiding the occasional fly-over noise.

Close to convention center (connected) and decent for a business hotel but the service earned them a one star review...

    1.  At the airport, I waited for 30 minutes for the hotel shuttle...called the hotel...they said it would be there in 10 more minutes.  Waited another 30 minutes....called the hotel...they said, "Oh, we actually can't get you - take a taxi."  I didn't have cash on me and it's nearly impossible to get a taxi from the Miami airport with a debit card/credit card if you are traveling less than 5 miles.  I explained this to the front desk and said I really needed the airport hotel shuttle (which they advertise as a hotel plus) as I couldn't get a taxi.  They would not accommodate so I had to walk through the airport for 20 minutes to find an ATM and then get in the 30 minute taxi line - very frustrating.
    2.  Hotel room bathroom was dirty
    3.  Very unfriendly staff in cafe - acted as if I was bothering them because I asked for coffee.

The interior of the lobby is beautiful and very welcoming offering beverages and cookies to all who enter. The reception was a little backed up every time we talked to them so may be a slight staffing problem but nothing too hectic.  The room was slightly above standard in the fact that it had not only a mini fridge but a microwave also!! That small feature combined with their cold snack area that allowed you to buy your own drinks and frozen meals makes this a good choice for the traveler on-the-go.
Not so cool was the $12 price tag on the "buffet" breakfast. We actually opted to walk the three minutes to the Denny's across the street and fed three people for the price of One Hilton buffet.
Also free shuttle to the airport was convenient but it took several minutes longer to get to the airport than you would think considering the distance..
Overall this is a safe choice for a smart traveler, just be sure to allow either extra time or extra money, as one of those will be necessary to ensure a pleasant stay.

Liked it for the most part. Rooms clean and big!  Nice pool.  Great breakfast! Young man Manuel sold us on it assuring we would love our stay and we did.  Only downside is various cigarette buds around pools perimeter.  Friendly staff,  but 1 bartender made a cheap joke after asking him for a glass of ice for my water. He said here it is in my dustpan just broke a glass so you can probably find an icecube.! Ummm really, hotel is so nice and your attitude ruined it.

I have started to make Hilton Garden Inns my go-to for hotels. This hotel included, HGIs are very clean with an accommodating staff.

There is always flavored water and/or lemonade in the lobby, **free coffee and tea* in the mornings.

HGIs have *adjustable beds* ranging from soft to firm. Very comfortable for traveling. Their rooms include a *mini fridge and microwave.*

They have *coffee maker * in each room ( makes individual cups using small cups instead of paper filter).
I didn't use the *pool,* but it looked very nice and clean. It's outside on the 1st floor; includes a *hot tub. *It has trees and shrubs surrounding, offering a little more privacy.
There is a decent work-out area offering **treadmills and a bike, as well as free-weights** ...and maybe 2 other machines (I forget).

*ATM* in lobby; Pantry *store* too.
They have a restaurant in the lobby, charge for breakfast.
    *Shuttle * service to MIA.

Chain hotel, very clean, excellent amenities....

Ideal location for taking a flight out of the Miami airport. There's a decent, small restaurant, wi-fi and other amenities too.

Best part: even though we only stayed one night, we could keep our car there all week. When we arrived back a week later, the hotel bus picked us up and all we had to do was get into our car and leave. Super bonus!

I come here for meetings every month. The Hotel lobby and meeting areas are very clean and there is plenty of parking. The staff are friendly as well.
I have never stayed in the rooms but the fitness room and pool area are well maintained.  There is only 1 restaurant here and the choices are very poor for vegetarians. If you do stay here, you may want to rent a car so you can seek other dining options

I don't recommend for airport parking... They say the shuttle leaves the hotel every 30min on the hour and half hour but after being out on the curb at the top of the hour and watching diligently, I waited for 50min, even after calling twice. The dispatcher game me the excuse the second time I called that the shuttle was caught in traffic, but this was three days after Christmas in the morning and hardly any traffic to speak of.

I can't say I've ever experienced such friendly service in a 3 star hotel.  Guelsys was extremely kind and accommodating after my boyfriend came down with a terrible case of food poisoning (Poseidon). I didn't feel comfortable with have the staff clean the room without my help.  The staff graciously helped me clean and get the situation under control. I can't thank them enough!!!

I stayed here recently while on business in the Miami area. I chose it mainly because it was close to the airport. It is also close to lots of restaurants and freeways so that you can get to other areas in Miami. That being said, it is located in a super busy traffic area and was a little harrowing to drive around during rush hour.

The hotel itself is very clean and has the updated HGI lobby and rooms. As in all HGI's, you can adjust the firmness of your bed (lest you think you'll have to sleep on that rock hard mattress all night). They also have the new Keurig coffee makers.

Breakfast area is spacious and service was efficient enough. The staff, for the most part, were very nice and helpful but they do have a tendency to speak in Spanish in front of you (which is pretty common in Miami but some people may find that to be rude.

My room was very clean and tidy.I didn't get to try the breakfast but my friends did and they were impressed with the quality for the price.I seem to always have an issue with the showers in other hotels I've stayed at,where the water takes time to turn hot but here it was instant, even the pressure of the water was just right.I love the small details, from the swan towels prepared on the bed to the Keurig coffee maker with a nice variety of (free) k-cups.Free parking makes a world of a difference and I think its a huge factor in choosing between hotels, especially during peak season here. The bed was just heavenly, memory foam.Even with all the planes hovering over us,taking off and landing,I didn't hear them not once in my room. The 2 things I would suggest is providing a robe to use and a wall mount magnifying mirror in the bathroom. All in all, I got my money's worth and I would love to return for future stays.
