Let's be realistic you get what you pay for, I found this place very convenient & relaxing. .stayed here in May last year,  location is not the best but is very safe,  parking wasn't a problem & the staff took care of all my needs, the price was very reasonable & even dough it's not high class is a great choice

Don't stay here! Save yourself the time and money...nothing but headaches here.

First, the rooms look nothing like what the website portrays them as. They're old, dingy, dusty and smell terrible. Also amazingly small...we were crammed in the attic up on the third floor.

Some things don't work, and others work, just not that well (tv didn't work, fan was amazingly noisy and the ac was just barely hanging on...it was hot in our room, too hot to be comfortable. Since it was so hot, we had to run the fan all the time, which kept us up ALL night!). Oh yeah, they don't have any phones, not that that matters, just another mark.

When I asked about switching rooms, I was told there were no others available, even though we were one of two cars in the parking lot!!?? The 'front desk' offered to help 'fix' things, but even after waiting for almost an hour (he told us he's be up in 10 minutes) things were half addressed and we were left unhappy.

In short, if you want a cheap room and don't care about noise, heat, or any general comforts that you'd expect in a hotel, go for it. If you want what I think we all expect in a hotel (comfort), then go elsewhere...consider yourself warned.

Everything else that was decently priced was sold out so had to hit this one up.

Pros:
Location close to downtown, little Havana etc.
decently priced
Free parking
Friendly staff
Quaint

Cons:
Rooms are small and don't have storage space, tv doesn't work, no shower only cracked bathtub
Neighborhood can get rough after sunset
Breakfast is junkie I'd avoid it
Pool was dirty

All in all can be a decent deal if you are visiting in busy season and are looking for bare minimum.
