This place is very decent. It's basically a hold over for people who are taking cruises. Unfortunately you are surrounded by people who take cruise vacations but everyone is still friendly enough. The best thing is that they have a shuttle that goes back and forth to the port for free.

You were some what able to handle all of us checking in at the same time. You were some what able to handle the last min changes and last min room cancellation. However, what you failed was your customer service. Drop the rude act and get over yourself front desk! You are part of Marriott and need to act like it. There is no need to roll your eyes or make rude comments. Just because I don't understand spanish does not mean the person next to me doesn't! The only reason why I'm giving you 2 star is because housekeeping was wonderful and the breakfast was free.

Dishonest housekeeping.

My friend's daughter left a jacket in the closet. She forgot to bring with her when they check out. they only realised when they were already in the airport. I went to check with the Hotel, front desk contacted housekeeping. all they said was, they did not see the jacket. And the room was already cleaned and rented to the next guest.

I have seen the negative reviews on here and I have to say my experience was the exact opposite. The hotel is nothing over the top and was remodeled when Springhill purchased it. The room was nice and it has one of the smallest bathrooms I have seen in an American hotel in awhile. The thing that really made my stay 5 stars was the customer service. Our flight arrived very early and the gentleman working the front desk took the extra steps to find us a room we could check into right away. We had a few minutes before the room would be ready so we had breakfast. The breakfast is the same as most hotels. We had a small issue with a transfer and the front desk staff was very proactive is finding a solution for us and went above and beyond to make sure we were not inconvenienced by the situation. We appreciated their generosity and eagerness to make us happy. When we come back we will look to stay here again. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay stress free.

I stayed here Jan 2014. I only stay at Marriott because I have a rewards with them I just want to point out that even though a Hotel says "Marriott" there are corporate and franchise owned so the standards are completely different at franchise owned Marriott's. This is for sure a franchise property.

I attempted to check in early and they seemed baffled by this. It was like it was their first day and they just seemed like the didn't know what they were doing. So They gave me a room after about 15 minutes. I appreciated them accommodating me.

This was the dirtiest Marriott I have ever seen. I'm not talking about the dirt you search for like on the top of the picture frame but like foul smelling hallways and dirty stained carpets. The shower curtain had mold on it. That means it has been accumulating and has never been cleaned or just changed. The carpet was not vacuumed. The headboards were dirty and had not been wiped. There was hair everywhere, which I can admit does not necessarily mean they were careless but it just didn't help.

When I called the front desk to ask about transportation they answered my question then asked who was calling because they did not have a record of who was checked in. What!?! I have never heard of that but ok. So My Wife called to ask for a wake up call that night for 7am the next morning. Never got the call. I figure this was related but I gave her my name a room number so I was very upset that I never received my call. Luckily my internal clock is on point lol and I woke up about 6:50am.

That morning I walked out without my Hotel keys so I went to the front desk about 8am and asked for keys and left for the day. When We returned before check out, our keys did not work. So we went back to the front and it turned out they gave us keys for the wrong room two floors below us. They made so many errors that I could not ignore it. It was just too much. I will say that the location was good, they were friendly and apologetic and they have free breakfast. But because it was soo dirty, smelly and they were not aware of what was going on I will never stay here again and recommend you do not either.

I only stayed here because it was within the required hotel rate (per my company) and close to the airport. Here's why I give two stars (Meh, I've experienced better):

-The bathtub didn't drain.
-Fitness center only had four machines - two treadmills and two elliptical machines. -Pumped hot air into the fitness room.
-Don't bother going to free breakfast 30 min prior to ending. It's a mad zoo.
-Yelp says Wi-Fi is paid, but I got mine free (don't know if it's because I'm an elite Marriott member).
-Most of all, the amount of solicitations at night is unbelievable! Having a flyer slipped underneath my door at least once every hour is over the top in my opinion. The hotel should require the insertion of a room key to operate the elevators, which would cut down on the ads.

I should also note, for ALL Marriott chain hotels, the rewards program is worse than Hilton. You can't earn miles and hotel points at the same time (called double dipping in the Hilton program). It's also hard to reach the middle tier - gold level - because you have to stay 50 different times within a calendar year. I'm a silver elite member, which may be the lowest tier for Marriott rewards (requires staying 10 nights at any Marriott hotel), but I've yet to receive a free night! =(

I don't know how this hotel has so many low stars. This place is awesome!!! The rooms are big!! They have a microwave, fridge, a view of the lake, a really nice shower, and a couch.. A freaking couch!! Lol. Also they had a coffee maker, a plasma tv, a desk two double or one king size bed, and even a iPhone speaker in the room. I stayed for 2 nights and was only charged $290 so it's pretty cheap in price.

Their staff was really nice and great able. This is a major plus. They were very friendly and helpful.

Also the hotel has complimentary breakfast included, a gym, and you can eat breakfast outside with a great view of the lake.

Only down side to all of this is that they have very limited parking space. Their lot gets full very quick very fast. However, the plus side is that the parking is free!! All guest get free parking, and they will make a effort to find a spot for you to park even if the lot is full.

I stayed here last February 5 & 6 (2014) with my other business partners. I won't stay here again----they're being very unreasonable & won't go out of their way to help you out in your situation (just like what happened to me). I was requesting to have 1 night's charges be reversed because I didn't use the room. Our group was holding it for other partners who couldn't make it because of flight cancellations (due to the weather here in NYC & the tri-state region). And they're making things more complicated, as they're just looking at it as 'loss of revenue' & that i didn't exert all efforts to cancel it as soon as I could (which we couldn't possibly do, because it was already past 10pm on Feb 5th when we were before their front desk, talking with a staff named 'Anthony'), which to them was a 'total irresponsible act' for not telling them right away. I don't know how to deal with situations like this because I don't usually stay in hotels (although a lot of my business partners, who have worked with hotels before have been telling me to request for reverse charges).

Oh, well, I asked for a reconsideration but their staff (Ms Veronica Cardenas) won't budge. She also told me her General Manager won't agree too, and so I'm here writing this review. DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL AT ALL, they won't bother to listen to your concern at all---it's as if I'm just around to get freebies from them. I'll definitely make noise on this experience, and will tell all my business partners here (we're over 200 +) & will definitely learn from this experience for good....

Ok.  I've read most of the reviews and maybe I just got lucky!  I've been staying here for 5 weeks (M-F) on business in Jan/Feb and have had very few complaints.  I'll start off with the good.

- Price was very reasonable
- Rooms are spacious
- Close to the airport
- Free wifi
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Nice lake view with outside sitting to eat and chill
- Plenty of parking
- Outdoor Pol was small but I really didn't use it since it was technically winter
- Decent workout room but few options

My complaints are more preference then anything else:
- Beds are a little on the firm side
- When I got a lake view room I got woke up around 6pm by the Trash truck in the back...nothing the hotel can really do about this
- WiFi is just okay but it's free so you get what you pay for
- Breakfast was the same...every single day!  Being there for 5 weeks straight it became torture. I wish they had more rotating options

For the most part this hotel served it's purpose for the price paid.  If you are looking for luxury you may want to look else where but if a good inexpensive room near the airport with friendly staff for a few days is what you need then I would recommend this hotel.
