So far so good. Clean, free WiFi, large flatscreen tv; nothing fancy, but a decent business travel hotel with a pleasant staff.

Comfortable beds, a loveseat w/ a coffee table to work at, and free wifi. What could a guy on travel want more?
Oh yeah. A fridge. You have to request that.
I'd imagine most people who frequent this place are either for work for for UCF. Overall, it was convenient enough to get to places and service was friendly enough.
But man that bed was one of the best hotel beds I slept on.

New lobby is nice. Cafe, interactive board, pod seating, etc. Rooms are still dated but clean. Decent hotel. Staff was very attentive.

My parents stayed here for a weekend while they were in town for my graduation and it was awesome. No complains here! My parents loved it and I love that it was super close to everything (where I live, UCF, etc). They managed to get a good rate by booking early, too. They have a nice little bar/seating area with Starbucks and other food that was really convenient and not ridiculously priced. The only thing I don't recommend is buying anything from their "market" station after the restaurant is closed. It was $2.65 for a bottle of soda. haha.

Not the finest Courtyard around. These places usually offer 4-5 star treatment, but this one was lacking for some strange reason. No breakfast was provided and what they sold you was nothing to scream about. The rooms were the same as always. Prices seemed a little high for something far away from exciting Orlando.

In terms of rooms, this is a typical Marriott. Clean, comfortable, etc. In terms of customer service, the young woman I interacted with at the front desk was the most unprofessional I have ever encountered.
My room wasn't ready when I arrived, which is understandable since I was gambling on an early check in. She didn't offer to hold my bags, which I had already wheeled in. Annoying but not the end of the world. I went out to find lunch and when I got back she was sitting on the floor behind the front desk. She told me, from her seated position, obscured by the front desk, that she had just called the maids and they weren't done with my room yet.
I have been travelling with Marriott (from their Courtyards through their JWs) for over 10 years and I have grown accustomed to the professionalism of their staff. This experience left me a dissatisfied customer.

I love courtyards! I stayed in one when I went to Washington, D.C. And it was amazing. I stayed in one just yesterday and it is comfortable clean and modern for an inexpensive price. The front desk is so pleasant and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and we had a couch in our room. I paid $109 and it was well spent. Did not get to try the gym or pool but since my sister is now attending UCF this will be my hotel from now on. Hopefully I can rank up a lot of points here! Thank you Marriott for a great stay!

I only give it 3stars bc I have been to 4&5star hotels. I really would give it a 3.5 if it were a choice on yelp. So it's definitely worth staying here. Comfortable beds & couches, friendly, courteous staff, warm clean pool & spa pool, nice size work out room, a nice bar close to the lobby. Definitely will stay here again.

The sttaff are all courteous kind and helpfull. pool and hot tub were clean, fresh clean towels everywhere. breakfast is not free, but very good food to choose from at the buffet. I definitely would stay here again.

I stayed at the Courtyard Orlando East for three nights while on a business trip.
Pros -- The breakfast buffet is great! Scrambled eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat, fruit, yogurt, waffles, toast, pastries. Definitely a nice spread. The service is friendly, and the hotel is clean.
Cons -- the wall-mounted HVAC unit is ridiculously out dated and loud. It sounded like a truck was starting in my room every time it kicked in. Definitely not a comfortable night's sleep.

My Family and I really enjoyed our stay here after a horrible experience the night before at another hotel. Staff are friendly, attentive, and extremely courteous. Rooms, towels, sheets, and bathrooms are fresh and clean. Warm clean pool and spa tub. Seating areas were cleaned and comfortable inside as well as outside.
Enjoyed the Bistro area and the Starbucks coffee.
Note Breakfast isn't free but you have a good selection of food at the buffet. Marriott use to have free breakfast, I hope they can bring complimentary breakfast back.
Will be back soon. Thanks Marriott!
P.S. Love the location, near UCF, restaurants, small shops, and gas stations.

I stayed this hotel wall traveling on business on April 16, 2015. I was given room 204. The front desk clerk was friendly even though she talked way too fast, and unfortunately she did not understand me when I was asking her about the speeds of the Internet. When I finally did get her to understand she didn't know what the speeds were and didn't know whether or not the hotel offered a premium package for Internet or not only that it was "new".
My room itself was quite nice walking up I could tell that parts of the hotel were little dated. They still have old-style locks to open the doors and the fixtures in the bathroom are little older but the room featured modern lamps and a newer TV. Speaking of the bathroom the real irritant there was the lighting and the noise from the vent. The lighting was just horrible it was, like old-style 60's's horror movie. It sort of blinked and was dim just not very appealing at all. And there's no way to turn off the loud vent, it's tied in with the light switch itself. The vanity area however has been redone with a new top and sink and the lighting is little better in this area.
The king-size bed was extremely comfortable and it situated appropriately in the room. On the darkness scale with 10 being pitch black this places rated at about a nine. There are some curtain bleed and a little bit a door bleed, along with the typical alarm clock and microwave oven clock both of which you can cover with a towel. The TV is on a swivel mount directly over the desk and to compensate you not being able to watch TV at the desk they have a smaller desk that pulls out from underneath the other desk allowing you to extend yourself out enough to be able to view the TV. There are a couple of annoyances regarding this however, the mount itself is not a very good one and it doesn't allow for the TV is swing all the way out. This means that when you are laying in bed you are watching the TV on an angle. The desk chair however is quite comfortable. There's also an odd LED desk lamp which has a touch switch. I say odd mostly because I've never seen anything like it in any other hotel I've ever been to and it was so modern it didn't seem to fit with anything else in the room. The furniture that houses the microwave, coffeemaker and fridge is low to the ground. This of course means that the space for the refrigerator is quite small and as a result it's more like one of those little beverage fridges. You have to take the coffeemaker out of the shelf and place it up on the top shelf and ordered operated as well. The good news is that directly connected to it is a chest of drawers and the top of that can be used to unpack your suitcase which is quite nice. The bedside tables both have outlets and USB charging ports which is practically a requirement nowadays. I found the king-size bed to be extremely comfortable and they include five pillows of varying hardness which I like.
This particular room also has a balcony, if you can call it that. You can't sit out there but you can certainly stand the view from room 204 is mostly parking lot with a couple of trees. On the day I was there it was sprinkling a little bit so was kind of nice but you will get wet if you stand out there and it's raining.
This location is in close proximity to the college and several restaurants. A few of the restaurants you can get to by walking if need be. This place does not serve a free breakfast that they do have a bistro/bar with assorted offerings and a happy hour from 5 to 7 PM.
I want to make special note of the housekeeping staff. It was raining the day I left and I had gotten out my rain jacket and placed it on the bed. In my haste of trying to get out of there and get to my business meeting, I had forgotten my jacket. When I leave a hotel room in order to signify that I have indeed left I always try to use the swingarm bar to hold the door open making it easier on the staff to get in and clean. This particular room is actually situated right down the hall from the housekeeping storage area and when I was leaving I said so to one of the staff. I walked out to my vehicle and was packing up my luggage when standing at the doorway was the housekeeper with my jacket in hand. Such nice service should be mentioned. As a side note room 204 is close to the stairwell and the left side parking area, however, you will need a key for entrance so plan accordingly.
Now on to the best thing about this place, the wireless Internet. I was absolutely astonished to find out that the Internet speeds for the wireless at 6:10 PM tested at 43.2 X 37.38 Mb per second! That kind of speed is mind blowing for free Internet service.
