I stayed here a few weeks ago with my cousins during a trip to Disney. The place was decent. The living room and master bedrooms were fairly large. The extra bedroom had two twin beds and boats on the wall, so I felt like I was staying in a little kids room. The shower in the master bath was kinda weird because there was no ledge separating the shower from the bathroom floor, so the water just ran on to the bathroom floor. The water smelled awful/like sulfur, but from what I could tell that was true of all of Orlando.
The resort had a couple of nice, large pools and jacuzzis. There was also a miniature golf course on site.

My family and I just returned from Orlando and the Cypress Pointe Resort. We had a great time there, we stayed in a 3 bedroom suite which was nicely decorated ( a little dated 90ish decore) but comfortable. It had everything we needed and was very close to the Disney resort parks..15 min drive at most with downtown Disney 5 minutes away. The pool is great, my kids loved it and it has an arcade for them also. I have read some of the bad reviews and truly don't agree, granted it is not a 5 star resort but I would definitely return there again and highly recommend it.

Came here in December while doing an annual Disney trip with some friends. This was part of a time share program, so I am unsure of any regular rates, and I hope to post the few photos I have of our room soon.
All in all, a nice place. My key card stopped working after a day due to it most likely being next to my phone or something, but eh. Another mishap is that there were NO ELEVATORS to get up to the third floor while carrying 40 lb luggage bags upon arrival, as well as attempting to heave ourselves up to our rooms each night after a fun filled day of walking in the parks. I would hate to know what one has to do if they have a medical problem or such.
The room(s) themselves are decent. A little Florida cheesy on the decoration side, but one bedroom had a flat screen TV, and we even had two small balconies if we wished to use them (we did not due to cold weather). There were jacuzzi tubs and two kitchens for the space we used. My boyfriend and I shared a larger room with an attached bathroom(with two sinks!), a private deck all our own, and a TV. We had a small dining area with provided linens, dishware, and utensils. Our kitchen was somewhat well stocked with plates, cups, mugs, etc. There was even a small washer and dryer (::insert squees of awesomeness::)!! Yeah, I get excited over laundry sometimes.
For us, there was no housekeeping service, and I believe they charged extra for it, so FYI. There is also a pool on the grounds, but as we went in December and it was unusually cold, it was closed.
Also be sure to check out Charlie the parrot in the lobby! Be sure to say hi, or you may offend him as my boyfriend did.

This is the second time we have vacationed here and it was nice but it seems to be getting a little rough around the edges. The furniture is getting very worn looking. I did not like that we could not control our own room temperatures. I also found a half dead cock roach in the bathroom.
A toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was broken and it took them 2 days and 2 reminders before they came to fix it.

Own a timeshare and always loved coming here. Tucked away, but close enough to the freeway, Downtown Disney, and shopping.

We stayed here as the second week of a two week holiday, and this resort seems comparatively dated. The doors to our suites were very easy to leave open accidentally; they seem shut but need a firm shove, and as a result of this we even had another guest walk in by mistake! This is indicative of the resort as a whole; lacking attention to detail and in need of renovation.
The resort offers a shop and arcade/games room by the main reception, but the arcade has seen better days and seems poorly maintained. Most machines short change you and seem deliberately confusing. When we visited the shop to buy some hot food, both items we asked for were out of stock. As an alternative we were offered a $12 frozen pizza, and needless to say we wont be going back.
We were looking forward to using the large pool, but it was a disappointment to find it afloat with insects and much dirtier than other places we have stayed. We also had no pool towels in our room, which were on our inventory.
Another disappointment was the cost of wifi, $20/week for "basic access". This is pretty ridiculous in 2014, where even some buses offer free wifi.
All in all, we were left thinking...what's the Pointe?

Great value! We come during Disney trips because it's close to Disney, close to the interstate, and close to restaurants. Kids love the volcano pool.
