Perfect! I was so disappointed staying at the Wyndham, I checked out early and I called Drury to see if I can book with them. They was more then happy to take me, but best of all, I was expecting to wait since I checked out of Wyndham at 9 am. Nope, Drury checked me in with no problem at 9:30. And everything was perfect. 100% satisfied!!  Will always stay at this place whenever I travel. Thanks for having the best hotel over Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham.

This is a wonderful place to stay to visit Universal Studios.  The rooms are very clean, the staff very attentive and welcoming, and the food is wonderful.  Excellent breakfast and dinner!  We were too busy to use the pool and hot tub -- but it looked nice.

The weekend of the 26th, my family and I took a little trip to Orlando for Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights and we stayed at this hotel for the first time. We were quite impressed and beyond pleased. The hotel is practically brand new....clean, spacious, modern.
The young woman who greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and informative. To the right of the lobby, you will find a rather large dining room which includes a kitchen like area that serves delicious, hot breakfasts and evening snacks that are all included with your stay. The evening snack which is served from 5:30 to 7pm also includes 3 alcoholic beverages for each adult! Beer, wine and a few mixed drinks such as tequila sunrises and screwdrivers were included.
The fitness center was fine for me. There were treadmills, excercise bikes and ellipticals. There was a window which faced the pool. We didn't use the pool but it was nice....pretty decent sized..... half of it was indoors and the other outdoors.
We stayed in a double queen  room which was perfect for the 3 of us. Everything we needed was in the room. The bathroom was clean and up to date, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a welcoming retreat at the end of the long days at the parks.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Orlando and is looking for a nice place to stay. It is a great value! My family and I were very happy with our stay at the Drury and will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

About a month ago we went to Orlando and stayed at a horrid hotel which i wrote a reveiw about on Yelp and during that stay we were driving to a restaurant and saw a sign for the Drury Inn advertsing they were NOW OPEN! We'd never heard of this place but when we got home from our trip we looked it up online and booked it for our next trip to Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights.
We just got back from the October trip and this place blew us away.  For starters the prices are very reasonable and when you get there we were expecting a normal hampton in type place but the lobby was really nice with trendy furniture and flat screen tv, the staff at check in were super super friendly.  We booked a 2 room suite and it was very spacious and very nice.  The beds were super comfortable with flat screens in both rooms.  The fridge and microwave came in very handy and the shower was amazing.  The included breakfast impressed us all, we had eggs, sausage, potatoes, buscuits with gravy.  They had fruit, oatmeal, cereals, breads, it was a huge selection.  At 5:30 they have what they call their kick back and it was equally awesome.  The food was hot dogs, mac and cheese, one night they had chili, the other they had chicken strips, they had baked potatoes, they had so much food and it was all really really good.  If you're an adult they give you 3 drinks per person (sodas for the kids is unlimited).  We thought we would have a choice of just wine and beer, but we the choices were martinis, whiskey, bloody marys, screwdrivers, beer, wine, and some other drinks i can't remember.  They had popcorn from 3 pm - 10pm as well as the unlimited sodas, and it was all delicious!
And the best part of it all was that it was all included with the room rate.

The pool was great, spacious and the hot tub fits 11 people and was just the right temperature.  They have free wifi throughout the hotel, which came in handy for the 14 year old traveling with us who was playing his computer game online while in the room.

Overall this place was amazing and we are looking forward to go back really soon.  I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay when in orlando and not have to spend a ton of cash for a room.

Great place to stay.  Close to a lot of Orlando attractions. Especially good if you have big dogs.  They keep it super clean, you would never know that dogs are allowed, but they are!

Absolutely the BEST and most well-run Hotel I've ever stayed in.....The folks that work here go above and beyond excellence! The rooms are extremely clean as are the linens. Breakfast is top-notch and the "kick-back" is a lot of fun! (make sure you tip the bartender!) The location is great, but be aware that it's a very busy area and the traffic noise can get a bit loud at times. Very convenient o the theme-parks, especially Universal. Just drive up Turkey Lake and follow the signs....this route keeps you off of Universal Drive. We will definitely make this property our " basecamp" for future visits to the area!

Stayed here for 10 nights and enjoyed every night! When deciding on somewhere to stay on my holiday I was bombarded with everyone giving their opinion. So I decided to do it my own way. This included staying here! However I was still worried before arrival as to what the hotel would be like considering it was quite cheap. I really shouldn't have worried! After a really quick check in and a pizza menu handed over we headed to our room. Highlights include: free breakfast every morning (waffles, bagels, toast, sausages, fruit, cereal, eggs, donuts and more that I can't remember!), a massive bed that was super comfy (my boyfriend is 6'1 and we normally struggle to fit in a bed together but this bed could sleep 3 people with room!), room was cleaned every day and it was lovely coming back to a super cleaned room with clean towels, from 17.30-21pm there was food and 3 free drinks (cocktails, wine, beer) for everyone (adults) including unlimited soda and popcorn from 15-22pm. Added to this free parking and only 5 minutes to Universal and 15 to the Disney parks, and it all adds up to a perfect stay. Oh, and free wi-fi!

We stayed at this Drury for a night when we went on vacation. It is only a month or so old and everything still looks great. The beds are comfy and the room had plenty of space. One of the things I like about the Drury is the quik start breakfast and the 5:30 kickback. For breakfast we had french toast, waffles, eggs, etc. and for the kickback, all adults checking in get 2 alcoholic beverages and they had hotdogs, baked potatoes, nachos, mac and cheese with real cheese. The kids loved it. The pool was really large with it being an indoor and an outdoor pool. The inner is a little smaller but if you swim under the wall then you are in the bigger outdoor area. Their is also a hot tub. All the people working were very friendly. And we noticed that this hotel does allow dogs.

We would definately stay here again!

Appears to be fairly new.  Perks:  free WiFi, breakfast, beverages and snacks in the evening. They give you three drinks (beer, wine, well drinks) per adult. They have snacks (pop corn, pretzels, nachos) and a couple of dinner items (hot dogs and pasta).  Also fountain soda and popcorn until 1000. They had a nice indoor\outdoor pool.  Staff was friendly and room was clean.  Lots of nice restaurants within a short drive.

It was home away from home and I enjoyed it every minute of it. This place had everything from free food to free wi-fi. I could list what they provide, but all their services are listed on their website. The staff are super nice and very helpful. Excellent value, highly recommended.

When I was searching for a hotel in the Orlando area, for an upcoming meeting, I checked out Trip Advisor and found that the Drury was rated at Numero Uno.  And I recall my parents touting its numerous features.  So I booked a room for four nights.

The experience was pleasant, and I'm a fan of the business model. And you can scarcely go wrong with a hotel that is less than a year old.
The room was nicely appointed, in a three star kind of way, and included a spacious desk, free wifi, a nice flat screen, a mini fridge (which offers great utility in my mind), and a micro-wave in case you get a hankerin' for a frozen burrito from the 7-11 next door.
I also appreciated the nice cardio equipment in the workout room.  The tread mills and elipticals are True's latest and best versions.  The weight selection leaves something to be desired,as it ends at 25lbs dumbells.  There is also a nice pool and spa.

But the item that sets the Drury chain apart is the food and drink.  Every night, you are elgible for 3 free drinks (beer or wine).  And everynight, you will encounter the most extensive free dinner buffet that you're likely to encounter at any hotel.  O.K. it isn't gourmet fare-baked potatos, mac and cheese, jumbo hot dogs, and salad-but it beats the hell out of the nearest competitor.  The breakfast buffet is more impressive because of the broader selection of food stuffs. Get there early or late to avoid the stampede of young families and old folk with mobility aids.

    Now, some suggestions for improvement:

The lobby decor evokes an emergency room kind of feel.  It's blue tiled and sterile and needs to be warmed up a bit.

Please get the USA Today.  When I inquired about the availability of a newspaper, I was looked upon like Dan Quale at a spelling bee.  Like how dare I?

The Duvets.  Yes, if you've read any of my previous hotel reviews, you know I'm not a fan of the 30lbs duvets that you find at most every hotel these days.  I understand the need to keep your slumbering guests warm, but this is Orlando, FLA, and it's 80 degrees in the shade.  I had the A/C cranking everynight in an unsuccessful effort to moderate my core.

All in all, a great place to stay.

I laughed when my wife told me the double-digit room rate she got for our pre-Christmas trip to Orlando. Busy season, with a free shuttle to Universal?  HA!  I was half hoping for a worst case scenario nightmare stay, since she is always right and I needed a few points to support my ego problem.  No point for me.  She did it again.

The room was good as any Marriott or Hilton I've stayed in.  Clean, large, no smells, there was even a microwave and small fridge.  They TV was a new 40" and the beds were good.  No complaints.

The kicker was the free breakfast.  While the menu didn't vary while we were there, there was a wide enough selection that you could have something different for breakfast every day.  Hot selections included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and home fries.  There were waffle machines (which I hate to be around), a selection of bagels and fruits, yogurt, etc.

Late nights at the parks meant we never made it to the free happy hour or dinner, but I would have definitely been there for it had I been staying on business.  (We did eat our dinner from the Wendy's next door in the eating area because it was so much more relaxing and had free soda.)

Two things differentiated this place from all the others I've been to:

    1. Unlike most resort free breakfast setups, this one is actually well maintained and has more seats than people.  There was constantly someone checking the supplies, replacing something, cleaning something, or just saying "good morning."  I swear, I saw the manager walking around the place every morning we were there...an extremely happy guy that appears to love his job.

    2.  The staff was outstanding.  Everyone I spoke to was eager to assist, seemed happy to be there, and asked how we were doing.  I've gotten that at $400/night places, but not so much when traveling with the family on a budget.  Don't undervalue a friendly face after a day of dealing with lines at Universal or Disney.

    Summary:  Highly recommended.  Excellent value.

This is a winner!  We spent one night at the "on site" Universal hotel but never again.  This is the best deal ever.  Comfortable beds, clean rooms, free food in the evenings, 3 adult drinks every night and breakfast!  I am now looking for Drury Inns everywhere I go, they definitely have a new fan!

We have stayed at some other hotels in Orlando during our yearly visit to the parks, but I think the Drury is such an amazing value that we'll always come back.

The hotel is right off the highway which is great but also makes exiting the hotel difficult because of all the traffic. There are several fast food restaurants and a whole foods across the street.  Universal is just down the street.

Check in was so quick and our room was clean and spacious. We loved the floor to ceiling window, the bed was very comfortable, and there was a little fridge and microwave which came in handy. I didn't like that the bathroom door didn't have a lock but there were shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers inside the shower which was pretty smart. Our room was very quiet and we never heard anything from the highway which was outside our window or from other rooms.

There was free popcorn and soft drinks available all day long. From 5:30pm-7pm there was a free kickback where you get a couple of free alcoholic drinks and a buffet. I expected the buffet to be like most hotels that do this and only offer 2 or 3 less than appealing options. Well, this was unbelievable. One night there was hot dogs, mac n cheese, baked potatoes, chips, nachos, salad, a variety of vegetables and dip, and tyson chicken strips. The second night was just as nice but instead of the chicken tenders they had meatballs and pasta. We ate here both nights of our stay for dinner and were very pleased. We were also impressed with the large breakfast buffet which included muffins, bagels, cereal, fresh waffles, fruit, bacon, sausage, and so much more. It saved us money not having to buy breakfast and dinner at the parks. Just a side note- I was a little surprised at how many senior citizens were at the kickback each evening. I truly have not seen so many since the days I worked in senior fitness. They were all having a great time socializing with one another.

Another free thing was the internet which worked very well. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year.

We stayed here for 4 days, and this is the first hotel I've stayed at that, in my opinion, cannot get any better.

In terms of cleanliness and hygiene, this was as clean as it gets. The lobby had a TV and a few couches, and the rooms are cleaned daily, with the towels replaced.

The service was great here. Every staff member greeted us, asked us how our day was, etc. I went down to the lobby to ask where the nearest doctor's office was, and the guy actually printed me directions. This kind of service is above and beyond.

There was a large variety of food for breakfast. Everyday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM they would have 3 free alcoholic beverages for adults, as well as some food (chicken fingers, hot dogs, pasta, etc.), and the type of food would change daily. They also had free unlimited soda and popcorn from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The hotel also had indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and an outdoor hot tub.

The first hotel I've stayed at that I honestly have no complaints about, this is easily one of the best, if not the best experience I've had with any hotel. It goes above and beyond what I would expect from any $80 hotel, especially one in such a prime location.

This hotel deserves 5 stars for the pleasant employees and fantastic value.  It is not a Ritz Carlton, but for the economical prices they charge and the amenities you receive, it is on the same playing field.  We stayed for 2 nights and met an array of employees and every single one of them greeted us, was helpful, friendly and more than accommodating.  Every time we saw someone they smiled!  It was a pleasure!

Our room was immaculate and large.  There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board.  The king sized bed was a "10" in comfort.  The A/C (very important) worked great.  The bathroom was large, with large counter area and mirror.  The shower was large and easily accessible.  The only thing I didn't like was the rain shower nozzle, which is a personal preference, there was nothing wrong with it.

Included in the room price was a huge breakfast buffet featuring eggs, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, cereals and beverages.  Every evening from 5:30 to 7:00, there is a snack buffet which includes, hot dogs, pasta, nachos, chips, soda's, etc.  There is an always full popcorn machine available too!  The coffee and soda service are available 24 hours a day!  They also have a little sundries area with snacks, beverages and toiletries available for purchase 24 hours a day.  One of the coolest features is that each (adult) guest get THREE (3) free complimentary beverages EACH day!  Beverages such as beer, wine, mixed alcoholic drinks, etc.  Why go anywhere else?  You can have your early evening snacks & cocktails right here.  Perfect after a long day in a theme park!

And the perks go on...there is a small gym and an indoor/outdoor pool with towel service.  There is also a business center with computers available and if you brought your own...there is FREE wi-fi!  This place was fantastic!  I signed up to be a "goldcard" member because I will definitely stay here for EVERY trip I ever make to Orlando again.

I also took their map of other locations because if this is the way they run their company then the Drury Inn is the place to stay whenever you travel!!!

Just finishing up a four day stay here, and I cannot say enough about this hotel. It's family friendly and everyone from the front desk staff to the managers to the housekeeping staff has been so friendly. It's affordable yet very clean, quiet, and nice. The breakfast is great and if you're on a budget the provided dinner is wonderful as well! I'm not a big drinker but my husband enjoyed the "three adult beverages" per night that we received at no additional charge!

Plain and simple, you will not get more bang for your buck in this area of Orlando.  Most other hotels do not tell you that they are also going to charge you for parking, or a resort fee which comes as a surprise when you check in. Typically you can add another $30 to your bill just for these fees. This is not the case at Drury Inn which not only does not charge you for these things, but also provides free internet, HBO, wifi, hot breakfast with all the fixings, and always very polite and helpful staff along with the cleanest facilities you will find around. There's a reason out 358 hotels in the Orlando area this one consistently ranks in the top 5. We enjoyed our stay and plan on staying at other hotels in this chain in the future.

We had the run around at another local hotel (there are hundreds in the area), and wanted friendly and good service and we got all that and more at Drury!  Don't waste your time or sanity at the other money-grabbing hotel chains in the area, I will stay every time my family is in Orlando! Vacations are precious and they get that here.

We checked in at 6, happy hour, had complimentary drinks and dinner. Hot dogs and pasta with nachos, salad and broccoli cheddar soup. I was looking forward to a pizza in the area, but this was sooooo convenient, and the drinks were relaxing after a long hot day at Sea World.

Room was spotless and up to date. Free HBO and wifi was really fast. Free long distance phone calls was nice to check in with family in Canada and Florida.

There are 4 computers in the business area and a printer. There is a concierge desk where people seemed to flock to. We did not require that service though.

We went to the pool that was half inside divided by a curtain. The outdoor hot tub had very powerful jets. Work out room has big windows looking into the pool.

I needed milk for baby, went to front desk and got a 12oz bottle for $2 and two bottles of water $1 each charged to our room. They also had all kinds of chocolate, chips, nuts, ice cream, frozen dinners and more. Also had a wall of toiletries, all sealed and individual, so you do not buy 10 razors when you need 1.

They don't have the clutter of toiletry bottles, instead there are dispensers in the shower. Great because I use lots of conditioner and the tiny bottles are a waste of my time and the hotels money.

Breakfast was good. Though the Coffee was not special and oatmeal was very thick. Waffle station was a hit and so were the Lucky Charms cereal. Eggs were perfect and fluffy served with ham and cheese and biscuits.

Everyone was super friendly and genuine.

Beautiful rooms, free breakfast and dinner, what else would you want from a hotel. The dinner is not all that, but the idea of serving dinner to your customers is something you don't see every where. Also, you get three free drink each day you spend here, how about that. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wow.  This hotel is not only a bargain, but a wonderful experience.  Super happy with our stay here.  From the great service and assistance when we made a booking mistake with dates, to the amazing huge rooms, and the outstanding extras, among them:

    1.  No parking fees
    2.  A great indoor and outdoor pool;
    3.  Free wi-fi (I hope this catches on everywhere);
    4.  An amazing breakfast with sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee and other drinks;
    5.  A weekly lounge area with live TV, free popcorn, and sodas (from 3pm to 10pm); and
    6.  A buffet dinner (which, confusingly, they call "kickback"), with kids and adult favorites, and a hosted bar (up to three drinks per adult per room).

Wow.  I am a fan and although there are no Drury hotels in the state I live in, I would choose another when I stay elsewhere.  Also centrally located to many of the local attractions, and close to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby.

This location was super clean, and the staff was so nice.  Truly perfect in every way.

They definitely work hard to make their guest satisfied and feel welcomed.  Each and every employee is friendly and helpful. Constantly looking to go the extra mile. The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast was nice with a good variety.  I wasn't crazy about the food choices for the kickback, but it was a nice option when we were at the hotel.  The general manager came by during breakfast to spark conversations and even picked up finished plates. I loved the indoor/outdoor option for the pool and the jacuzzi was nice after a long day. I will definitely recommend or return.

We just checked in today and we went to buy groceries and the fridge isn't working. The toilet is not really working so we called down to the front desk and was told no other rooms were available and that they have no Maintenance until 7 am. so our groceries are a lost cause and I guess we'll have to be careful with the toilet. We booked this hotel because of all the great reviews, but so far not so good. I guess we should have stayed at Universal.

Amazing value, friendly and attentive staff, excellent facilities, pristine guest rooms, location... This hotel has it all!

I'm visiting family (not in Orlando for theme parks) so the hotel was the central location for the visit.   Each morning we gathered in the large dining room for a hot breakfast buffet, with choices of eggs, sausage, biscuits, & home fries; oatmeal; waffles; bagels; pastries... Well stocked and fresh from start to finish.

Mid day they bring out the popcorn machine and you can snack to your hearts content.

Kick-back includes a bar menu buffet, including hot dogs, chicken tenders, mac n cheese... And three adult beverages for each registered adult guest.  We "kicked back" with a deck of cards and made it a real happy hour.

The staff is exceptional. We were greeted with genuine "good morning/afternoon/evening" with eye contact and a smile, (something that is blatantly absent from most other Orlando businesses we visited.).

Manager Kevin ("K2") is a working manager. Side by side with his staff, he ensures that every guest is satisfied, and rolls up his sleeves to make sure things get done!

Hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool were clean and well appointed.

Hotel location is convenient to major routes, but road noise is not an issue.

I will seek out Drury Inn locations in my future travels, and would recommend the Orlando location to anyone looking for a great value!

My young son and I spent four nights here while we visited the Universal parks, and I have to say that this is the best hotel experience I've ever had. Everyone we encountered at Drury was so kind and went out of their way to greet us and say hello and smile. After years of working in customer service, I can say that this hotel is on point. We will definitely return.
One note- if you are using the shuttle to travel between the parks and hotel, be sure to plan closely around that schedule. The return times are limited. Also, Drury is the last stop on the return... you may end up sitting on the bus at another stop (like we did) while the driver makes up time. That was unpleasant, but not a deal breaker, and doesn't reflect on this awesome hotel.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. It's affordable, close to many restaurants, right off the highway, accomadating, clean, large rooms, nice bathrooms, fridges in the rooms, large supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. :: stops for breath ::

Free breakfast, free dinner, free popcorn and soda. And it has large buffets during the meals. OH. And also, might I add. There is a card they give you for dinner-time that you can redeem (every night!) for 3 free drinks from the bar. Why are you not here right now?

I feel almost guilty giving this place 2 stars because in all honesty, I didn't have the opportunity to check out all the amenities that gave this place such high ratings. I DID book my stay here based on Yelp reviews but because I was in town for work, I was out the door too early to enjoy the free breakfast and back too late to partake of the happy hour. I saw a couple of large dogs hanging around and as a pet owner, I can appreciate that. But here is where things went wrong...
The pool. Half indoors, half outdoors, great concept! Problem is the pool is placed on the wrong side of the building. Facing busy traffic and sitting in shade due to the shadow of the building until nearly evening. You will not get a tan here.
There was also a problem with the air conditioning. The room would not cool below 76 degrees. I need it just a few degrees cooler in order to sleep comfortably. I woke up at 2 a.m. and kicked the covers off. They offered to let me switch rooms but I didn't feel like doing a bad drag at that time of the morning so I just asked them to take a look at it the next day.  Next night, still hot. I just dealt with it.
Next morning as I was leaving for work at 5 a.m., I asked if I could have a late check out because again I didn't feel like doing a Bag drag at that time of the morning. When I returned to my room around 11am, the Do Not Disturb sign was still on the door, but the door was open. I mean, deadbolt disengaged, door obviously open, and not a staff member in sight! Nothing was taken but I was pretty irritated. Especially as I was getting packed and the cleaning staff came knocking. I have a late checkout at 1pm! Why are you knocking? And why was my door OPEN???
There was a line at the front counter and I didn't feel like waiting around to mention this to the front staff. I mean, what are they going to do anyway at this point?
The icing on the cake was the mold. Okay, I don't know for sure that there is mold in the room but in addition to being hot the first night, I also woke up because I couldn't breathe. The congestion got worse the next day and my coworker told me I should probably move to another hotel but again I figured, maybe it's not mold and one more night won't kill me. That was three days ago. I have a full blown upper respiratory infection now. Which developed the first night in that room. I obviously can't prove it's mold but if you get stuck in a room with a struggling AC and you feel congestion coming on, GET OUT!

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in!

    - Free breakfast (the good kind too) and free dinner aka kickback. This helped my family tremendously! Can you imagine how much money a family of four for example spends on breakfast and dinner everyday? Since Drury Inn was the kind of hotel that was awesome enough to provide free breakfast and dinner, we were able to save some money!
    - Great service! the staff who worked during breakfast and dinner were super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was amazing & we never had a problem in the 4 days that we stayed there. The staff at the front desk were also kind and were willing to answer any questions you had. Overall, everyone was friendly and did not give off any negative vibes.
-Indoor and outdoor pool. Mini gym.
    - Smacked in the middle of Wendy's and 7/11.

*The only suggestion i can make is about the food. Although the food was great, it would be nice to see some variety. If you're staying there for more than 3-4 days for whatever reason, sometimes it gets a little tiring eating  the same thing everyday. Just like another reviewer said, perhaps Drury Inn staff can think of a different menu for every other day. Just a suggestion! I still love the food :)

Thank you Drury Inn for your wonderful service. I definitely recommend this hotel!
