This place is brand new.  So new that it had the new construction smell.  I really enjoyed my stay there overnight (partying and seeing old friends trip- no theme parks).  I haven't stayed at a Fairfield in years so this place has restored my faith.  The room was spacious with 2 queen-sized beds and a pull out sofa.  There was a LCD TV in the room which was a nice addition.  The bathroom was more room than a lot of places I've stayed in with the full vanity in the bathroom.

The lobby was modern with an aquatic theme.  Heck, you can see SeaWorld coasters from the front door.  I didn't have the free breakfast.  It's a great location for Sea World.  To get the Universal, It's a little further up International Drive and through the thick of the major Orlando tourist traps:  Pointe Orlando, OC convention center, and a ton of other hotels, restaurants, and shops (like lame t-shirt shops not the outlet centers).  To get to Disney, the drive down International isn't as congested with touristy things but the drive is kind of far.

If you want to do SeaWorld or just relax in Orlando, this is a perfect location.  Anything else, prepare to drive.

Recently stayed here for approximately a week while on vacation. Generally a nice facility - new, reasonably clean. But we had major issues with room keys - you know the electronic cards. When we checked in we were told that they were experiencing some key issues and that our key was only a temporary one and it would not work for the pool and workout areas and we should stop at the front desk the next day to get the real keys. Go through the hassle to find an employee to let us in the pool and fitness room. Next day get a new key and go to room only to find out it doesn't work, same thing the next day. Our keys only worked 1 day we were there. Front desk told us it was our fault because we had our cards next to an electronic device (BS) - how come the extra key we had in our room didn't work either. How about the hotel and employees take responsibility for a problem.

Next time I will stay at the Hilton.

I recently stayed here on a business trip. While everyone was at the Grande Lakes resorts, I drew the short straw and had to stay offsite since I was added to the conference so late. So, unfortunately I did not get to enjoy or explore any of the hotel perks (SEA WORLD, awesome-looking pool, etc.)

The hotel looked very new and had updated decor. My room was comfortable and clean and for the little time I spent in it, my experience was pleasant. The bathroom was just OK and it bugged me that I was given shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but no body lotion. BUT, there was a 24-hr CVS mere yards away from the hotel, so I survived. The king bed was comfortable, the internet connection worked, so I was a happy (as can be....being that I was there on business) camper.

It's no Ritz (that's at the Grande Lakes 2 miles up the road), but it's totally acceptable and a little better than what I expected. The price was nice too ($99/night).

    Marriott does it again!
I had to stay at a Hilton property recently and Marriott puts Hilton in its pocket.

We stayed at this hotel for our 10 day honeymoon in Orlando.
    Everything was flawless.
We arrived from the airport almost three hours early of check in. (Oops.)  No problem.  They moved our reservation and had us in a room equal to what I booked almost instantly.  We were greeted by the super friendly front desk folks where they gave us Starbucks coupons and a very detailed run-down of the hotel/shuttle operations.

The hallways and rooms smelled extremely clean and brand new.
Our room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable.  We were on the 6th floor and had a fabulous view of the Manta and Kraken coasters at SeaWorld.

Breakfast was great!  Huge selection every morning, which rotated every day and we never found it over-crowded or understocked.  Lots to choose from.  We appreciated that complimentary coffee was available well into the late afternoon.

Getting taxis was a breeze and the shuttles were always on time and efficient.

Housekeeping at this hotel is a well-oiled machine.  We left every day for the parks between 7:00 and 10:00 AM.  Returning around 6:00, our room was thoroughly cleaned every single day.  There was one day we decided to rest and left the do-not-disturb sign out.  Housekeeping slipped a note under our door to let us know they acknowledged the sign and to let the front desk know if we still wanted our room cleaned.  They seriously have housekeeping under control!

The market on the main floor was well stocked and the prices were not inflated like many other hotel chains.

    The pool:
We LOVED the pool.  The Shamu "splash zone" was a blast for us, even as adults.  The Splash Bar had awesome bartenders, fabulous drinks and the food was actually REALLY good!  (I miss those BBQ chicken flatbreads!)

We are smokers and found that the hotel had designated smoking areas conveniently placed around the property.

My one and ONLY not-so-great comment is the elevators.  They move at a glacial pace.  We often were waiting minutes to get to the sixth floor since it just didn't seem to move.  Also, it was really weird, but the staff in the Springhill Suites next door were REALLY dopey and not very helpful.  They all had this glazed over, confused look on their faces whenever we went in there for Starbucks and whatnot.  *Shrug*

Overall, wonderful experience from top to bottom and we will gladly return to this hotel on our next visit to the area!

This is my second time staying here.  The front desk ladies are super friendly and funny. Really lovely rooms. I enjoy the fact that there is a separate toilet room. PS the pillows are pretty comfy! I dig it!

Not as advertised. I have stayed at many hotels over the years and one thing I expect is what is advertised is what I get. We stayed at the Fairfield forgoing our normal spot to get the front of the line access the hotel advertised. Although they advertise that you have front of the line access, you do not. What you receive is a voucher for front of the line for a limited number of attractions which they stamp at the park. Once you go once, you are back in the line. Just want to share so every one knows what to expect. Also each hotel has a limited number of vouchers, so eyed to make sure you go down and get them.

A few more items to rate hotel. Staff and employees are extremely helpful and polite. The hotel wifi is in unusable, so plan ahead.  Rooms are knowing special and smell like cleaning products, Fabreeze. Hotel offers free continental breakfast and all lobby areas are updated and clean. Transportation to attractions advertised runs about every 1 hr and 15 minutes.  Actually faster to walk to sea world and Discovery Cove.  Hope this help...

I booked a room here as part of a family vacation to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica in March for a July trip, at which time I paid for everything. The location seemed great since they are very close to all the SeaWorld partner attractions. When we arrived to Fairfield, they were full and didn't have the room type that I paid for 4 months in advance. After about a 40 minute wait, we finally got into a room with one less bed, so my son had to sleep on the pullout bed from the sofa. It would have been okay if they'd refunded a bit of my money, but they didn't even offer. When I asked, I was told they could not since my current room was considered an upgrade since it has two televisions and is considered a suite. They tried to play it off like they were doing me a favour. My son doesn't get to sleep on a real bed but fine, whatever...

When we got up to the room, we instantly noticed that it smelled terrible. Like mold that had been febreezed over to try to hide. No surprise, since there is no dehumidifying agents in the room at all. There is an air conditioner near the window on the far side of the "suite" that we tried to use to dehumidify but for the duration of our stay the room was smelly, and sticky with terrible humidity but freezing cold. There wasn't even a fan in the bathroom so showertime means the steam just stays in the restroom.

We were there for 8 days, but the maid only serviced our room three times, and it wasn't until after 3 pm. Not once did they change the sheets or blankets on the bed. I don't know how that is supposed to be okay.

They did have a nice enough selection for the complimentary breakfast and a free shuttle to SeaWorld and Aquatica, so that was good; but not $1300 good.

Next time, we'll be staying at a Hilton property. We've learned our lesson.

Surprisingly nice find of a hotel near Sea World, Disney and the Convention Center.

Clean, bright, and new, the Fairfield won't be confused with the more upscale Peabody, but hey, you're paying about $100 a night!  This is a value proposition!

With a TGIFridays next door, a Denny's a few doors away, and a mini department store of a CVS in the parking lot, this centrally located Fairfield is a terrific find for both families with kids as well as business people on a budget.  Nice staff, too!

I had the pleasure of staying here overnight after a long day spent at theme parks on my birthday. I really have no complaints. The best thing is they upgraded me to a suite with no extra charge. It was lovely! Flat screens, huge bed, everything you'd expect. The staff was lovely, wishing me a happy birthday and also asking about my day at the theme parks. It really was a pleasure to stay here, a great place if youre looking for a "home away from home".

My fiancee, her son and I stayed at this hotel from 4/18/14 through 4/20/14. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a pleasure staying here. The staff was always very friendly and on top of what needed to be done around the hotel. Our room was on the 6th floor and was very nicely prepped and clean. We had plenty of towels and extra pillows and sheets in the closet for just in case, a mini fridge, microwave and LED tv. HBO included . The only thing i did not like but is not enough to drop a star was the small parking spaces in the back area where we parked. They had complimentary breakfast which was delicious and huge plus. They are within a mile of seaworld and aquatica, and within 10 miles of all other parks. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others if staying in the area.

I enjoyed the room lots of space. The young lady at front desk was nice and gave me a disposable razor when I requested it. There was lots to eat right in the parking lot. Nearby was Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings and a KFC. I walked to Fridays for take out and relaxed the remainder of the night!

Nice clean hotel with great location.  Has Restaurants in parking lot are huge convenience. Nice pool for the kids.  Complimentary breakfast but wish that started early as we missed that as they don't start till 6:30 or 7:00 am. Nice large clean rooms at a reasonable rate.  Comfy beds with nice cold rooms.

Stayed here with my family for a total of 5 days/4 nights and had a fantastic experience. The reception staff was very friendly and the hotel overall was clean and affordable. My family and I received a complimentary continental breakfast every morning and even got a free room upgrade upon arrival. We also received free quick-que passes for Sea World and free shuttle service to and from Sea world and Aquatica.
Defenitely planning to stay there again, awesome experience!

Nice hotel. The staff are accommodating and helpful, which is great. They actually remember your name, too, which is a special touch. The rooms are quite nice, so I had no complaints there. Big comfy bed, decent sized bathroom, desk, TV, and even a free fridge and microwave you can use! That was a pleasant surprise.

Free breakfast in the mornings in the lobby, which was probably what I didn't like most about this restaurant. The breakfast selection was awful. No fresh fruit, either.

Conveniently located near Sea World and other fun Orlando things and the airport, its nice. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Was disappointing. One day we were left with no bath towels (always fun to take a shower and then notice it), no refill on Kleenex, and sheets not changed in the 7 days we stay we stayed here. How do I knowledge you ask? I'll tell you. My husband was snacking in bed the second night we stayed here and spilled a bag of crushed up chex mix between the sheets. He tried to clean it up that night but even in the last day of staying here we were finding chex mix in the sheets.  Maybe that is normal not to change the sheets I'm not sure but I wanted to note it.

The worst part was the bed. It was very hard and lumpy. We never got a good nights rest and woke up several times a night with back pain. If we had the money to pay for another room/hotel for the week we def would have.

I tried to get a new room but they were booked. It got so bad I tried to move to another hotel. We got this using my aunts Marriott points and since we were not the members we could not alter the reservations. I didn't want to bother her so we stuck it out.
She is elderly and I didn't want her to feel bad. So we sucked it up.

I wished they had a full length mirror in the room also. Being a girl I like to apply my makeup close to a mirror. The only one in the room was a small one over the tiny desk. I couldn't lean over close enough to see the mirror close. The bathroom mirror was even worse. The sink/counter was so wide it was even worse. Even cheap motels usually have a full length mirror on a wall.

I could deal with the maid carts and dirty laundry outside my door daily but the bed was horrible.

Anyway I would just stay somewhere else. Hotel was ok, rooms not great and the beds horrible.

This has to be one of my favorite hotels to stay at , very clean and modern ! Rooms are a great size and bathroom is spacious.

The outside water park is great for the kids, I recommend going at night when it's empty.

Easy parking & free shuttles to the parks !

I'm very impressed with the friendly customer service we received from the moment we arrived. I booked my room online as I traveled. I relied on Yelp to find a suitable hotel.
I was greeted by Natasha around 9pm. She informed  us of the amenities. Free breakfast, hours for the pool and Starbucks. Natasha even guided us to the desk to register for free quick Q passes to Seaworld.
When we opened our room door we could smell the cleanliness. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff during breakfast was very hospitable. What started off as a one night stay turned into a two night stay.
I just traveled from a Luxury hotel in Miami and the customer service in this hotel surpassed theirs... I will be planning a family vacation when I return home. I'm definitely booking a vacation in the near future in Orlando. Fairfield Inn will be my hotel of choice
