Very friendly and helpful staff. I checked in late in the evening and waited on my husband who was out with his friend. Once my husband got back we noticed the AC wouldn't kick on. The evening desk manager gave us directions on how to turn it on. When it didn't work, he swapped our rooms and because it was so late at night and they have amazing customer service, we didn't have to pay. I was astonished because I don't believe the AC was broken, just a simple disconnect/user error. But we were very grateful and will definitely be staying with Hampton Inns in the future!! Our new room's AC kicked on immediately.

Oh man, if only I had known about this hotel before I booked my main stay at the Hilton Doubletree Orlando Downtown. This place is way better - that Hilton SUCKED.

This place is great! The staff was fantastic and very helpful, the outside patio is beautiful and amazing, the space in the room was great, they had in-house laundry, and did I mention the staff was amazing??

There are great bars and restaurants within easy walking and driving distance AND you get discounts at some of them just for being a guest.

There's a free breakfast (that I think I was even able to get "to go") and free coffee all day.

Even their little convenience store was great.

This place made my flight getting canceled A-OK!

Once again, Hampton Inn is superb. Paris has it right. Clean, comfortable, great free food and even a cookie!! Go for it. Well worth it.

The Hampton Inn & Suites at Gateway Village is a great option if you need to be by the airport. Recently constructed this was my second stay here. Both stays were great.

The room layout is perfect for a one or two night stay. Bathrooms have a full-size shower (no tub) which I really liked. I would never take a bath and certainly not in a hotel bathroom...no matter how clean it was.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very accommodating. I can't recommend the hotel enough.

Traveling with wife and two kids (8,6)

Brand new hotel.  Great free breakfast, kids loved the very long and heated 5 foot deep outdoor pool.  Separated from the pool area is a very cool, gas fireplace with comfy oversized cushioned chairs to relax on.

Have to question why they vented all the clothes dryer exhaust directly out to the pool deck area???  Poor design there.  To add to that, during the day you hear all the dryer buzzers while attempting to relax by the pool.

We had a 2 queen bedroom, not a lot of walk around space, but we were only there to sleep, so not a huge deal for us.

Overall, nice hotel, can't really complain as we stayed 3 nights for free due to my HHonors American Express points.

This was an overall great Hampton Inn. It was absolutely beautiful, particularly for a hotel near an airport. The room was clean and everything was comfortable. I particularly appreciated the two big charging stations- perfect for business traveling. The shower was huge, clean, and had great water pressure. Room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The breakfast also earns a special star for having absolutely everything and plenty of seating- that's sometimes a problem at other Hamptons. The staff was all incredibly friendly. Shuttle back and forth to airport.

The parking lot can be difficult if the hotel is close to full; I almost didn't find a spot.

Additionally, they did almost send me into a heart attack. I drove in late on a three hour drive after a business meeting and arrived at about 11:00. They told me there may not be a room for me- despite the fact that I had pre-paid for a room. It turned out to be a mistake, but wow, not good for my blood pressure, guys.

Still, it was an awesome hotel, and I'd love to stay again when I can take advantage of the fitness center (which looked really nice) and the many restaurants right beside the hotel (they had free appetizers with some of them).

Amazing hotel.  The staff was incredibly friendly, room spotless, and the location was spectacular.  Tons of restaurants nearby.  And to boot, they had special parking for hybrids.  Will stay here again for sure.

This was a beautiful hotel! Clean and a very friendly staff who went above and beyond to help when needed... The rooms were perfect and the outside was amazing with a spacious lounge area that has a gorgeous fire pit and a really nice pool. The continental breakfast was excellent and well stocked. It's in the perfect location- not to far from the airport, but not close enough to be bothered by the planes and not to far from stores. I like it because it wasn't in a super busy area, but not to far for convenience! I will definitely be staying here again if and when I go back to Orlando!

Great place, excellent location by the airport and FlightSafety.  Hotel is relatively new and the rooms are very clean.  Staff was very friendly and helpful.  Loved the pool area and outside seating for breakfast. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn with fresh waffles, fruit, oatmeal etc...To me the best part is that it was located right across the street from a BoneFish Grill and Longhorn.  Also, Panera and Starbucks right down the street.

I would recommend this place to a friend and I would stay here again.

Are you joking, Hampton Inn? A NICE hotel near the airport? And btw, one of the nicest Hamptons I've ever stayed in. Check in was great - the gal was so nice and helpful. The room was great - my room had a small entry way with a little fridge and coffee center. There was a little living room section and then a big desk divided the space with the cozy bed on the other side. I liked the bathroom - a giant shower! Hellloooo! No gnarly hotel tub!

And don't forget the breakfast spread! FREE! The lobby area is nice and inviting. Looks like maybe a fire pit by the pool as well.

Is it wrong that I want to stay here next time I go to Orlando?

Overall: Lack of parking, just average breakfast.

The Hampton Inn at Gateway Village was easy to find from the airport and there were several restaurants within walking distance. Also, there were many other stores nearby so that we could buy our transponder for tolls roads and other items.

We checked into the hotel late at night and everything was ready for us (our room key, etc.) when we walked in the door. The rooms seemed to be newer, well-kept and did not look dated.

However, one big downside is the parking. When we arrived at the hotel we were told it was very busy, and it appeared that many guests were parking in the nearby grass field since the parking lot was full. Unfortunately, these spots in the grass field were all taken and we were told to either park on the street or in the parking lot of nearby restaurants. It is poor service to suggest that a tourist go against common sense and park their vehicle in an unknown business's parking lot with no signage indicating this is acceptable when, in many places, this would result in towing. While the evening attendant stated this was fine, it would be foolish to trust this when it could potentially ruin part of your vacation if you end up having to track your vehicle down. We were able to find parking on the street in front of the hotel and were not towed.

Another downside was the breakfast. We regularly stay at Hampton hotels in various countries because we find their breakfasts are very good; they have a great selection of items and always taste fresh. We found the breakfast to be just average, not the same quality as what we had experienced previously at the Hampton properties. The food was bland and selection felt limited in comparison (such as sausage gravy being the only meat served). The breakfast area was small, and felt even smaller when the hotel let all the breakfast attendees keep their luggage in the dining area and take up the seating with it.

We did not get to check out any other features of the hotel because we spent a very short time there since we were transiting to Miami immediately after breakfast. In the end, with the lack of parking and average breakfast, I would most likely stay at another chain hotel in the area because nothing really stood out at great with this property.

Upper end Hampton with more of a upscale feel.  Newer with very nicr rooms and quiet with clise access to the airport.  I would definitely stay here again.  Restaurants are nearby for dining.  Nothing to do with hotel but gas stations nearby are exorbitant - double the price of those not near airport - double.  Guess the are catching off guard tourist - so if you need gas near hotel beware as it was $4.97 a gallon for regular

The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice, cozy, and clean. However, on the day I stayed here, they had major problems with the cable. The TV channels kept saying "no signal" and the Internet wouldn't work for a time. I had schoolwork to do so this was a big bummer. They did send a tech guy to come up to the room, but though he was very nice I can't say he was much help. They do have a business center with computers, but if you want to do things with technology in your room, you may be disappointed.

An extremely accommodating  and friendly hotel experience.  Outstanding rooms and a complimentary breakfast.  I was greeted by Andrea who was very helpful and extremely friendly.  After explaining our flight was cancelled and were had a rough morning, Stanley at the front desk did everything in his power to help us and make our stay enjoyable.  He even found a coupon to help us with the cost!!
