    Like new....well because it is.  The hotel is very clean with friendly staff.  Rooms are furnished nicely with refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen.  The only negative is that there is only WIFI in the lobby with hard-line in the room.  What hotel doesn't have WIFI in the room!?!?!?!?  All this for $79.00 a night!!!!  Take that Super 8......

    I stayed here for a trip to Islands of Adventure. This hotel is only a 10 minute drive from there! The service here is the BEST. For the three days I stayed there, the guy at the front desk was absolutely helpful and attentive. He seemed like he really loved his job. The hotel itself is clean and the beds are amazing. I'd visit florida and stay at this hotel again just to sleep in the beds.

    We had a very pleasant stay.
    I used my hotel points so I am not sure about the cost performance, but I can only say good things about them.

    Good/convenient location (yet quiet).
    Very personable, nice employees (from the check-in through the check-out, we had one single bad encounter)
    Yummy (and several choices) cookies upon arrival
    Great breakfast, everything we can think of for breakfast seemed to have been there.
    They even prepare breakfast to go (in a bag) for those who don't have time.
    Clean, new rooms
    Microwave and fridge also help since Wallmart is across the street

    It's just everybody there is attentive and hospitable.
    I have no hesitation in recommending this place (unless you're looking for 5 star resort hotels)

    First time here, and I'm loving it! Staff is friendly and attentive. Not a big kid hotel so it's pretty quiet, and nicely tucked away from many busy areas. Easy to get to all the big attractions, but also a nice escape from them. We'd defiantly stay here again!

    We got a king suite with a jacuzzi for under $100. So it was a good deal for us. Very clean. Good breakfast. Accommodated my late check out request without any hassle at all.

    Great place. Nicole was super. Our basketball team was staying here.  We didn't have a room. When she got a cancellation she called us! The hotel was clean and comfortable.

    My favorite place to stay on business in Orlando. The staff here is top notch. From directions to reservations, they are here for their guests.  They often remember my name and my preferences. I couldn't ask for a more professional or friendly place to stay.

    We booked this on Expedia. 2 nights. We were issued a non smoking room, 212. It is nice and cozy. Not a place you would spend a lot of time on the property at. We were attending a conference so it was good place to crash. As others have stated, driving to fine dining, attractions and the Millennia mall is very convenient. Plenty of food establishments to choose from. Travel is very swift as it is near I-4 and John Young is 8 lanes wide. Any time of day travel was great.
        The bad. In room 212 (and i suppose the other adjacent rooms), the elevator has tremendous influence. The hydraulics must run through the very walls of those rooms.
    The small refrigerator that was in that particular room actually "ticked". I have never heard of such a thing, until then. My suspect was that the circulating fan was a tad out of round, but I do not know. The water does run down the wall. Mind you that none of this was audible until we laid down to sleep.
         However! We found that with the thermostat in the "on" position, the fan would run AND the conditioner would still cycle. So that is how we were able to drown out the noises. Beds are so so. Pillows are ok. Rooms are clean.
    Overall it was a decent place and we have stayed in worse for more money.
    We would stay again, However, not in 212 or near the elevator.

    I saw this Hampton Inn listed for $79 per night on Expedia, and though it was only rated as a 2 1/2 star property, it was shown as being only 3 miles from the Orange County Convention Center where I was attending a trade show and it had lots of strong reviews on Yelp and a few other sites, so I booked it.

    Personally I thought this hotel was a good value for the price paid, but I wouldn't rate it any higher than a strong 3 and I'm not planning to rush back here on my next trip to Orlando.   This hotel is only a few years old and is in very good condition both inside and out.  It's also a short drive from the convention center, Sea World and a few other attractions.  Rooms are well appointed with a desk/table, a microwave, refrigerator, a flat screen TV and a single cup coffee maker with a selection of regular and decaf coffees and teas. They also provide a "lap desk" which is a small wooden table with a vinyl cushion on the bottom that allows you put this on your lap and rest your laptop on it so you can work while in bed.   Bathrooms have good quality, modern solid wood vanities with granite tops; Boutique shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer are provided.  This hotel also offers coin operated laundry, a fitness room, swimming pool and complimentary breakfast.

    So why only 3 stars? While this hotel is a relatively short drive from many things, it's located in a business park, so there are no dining or nightlife options anywhere within a reasonable walking distance, and the immediate vicinity of this hotel was basically a ghost town for much of my time here. The "fitness room" is quite small and is only outfitted with an elliptical machine and 2 treadmills.  The swimming pool is relatively small, there's no hot tub, and it's located right on the parking lot with absolutely no shade, so it's not the type of pool area where one would come to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day.   Though the hotel is only a few years old, the rooms are showing signs of age.  There were lots of black scuff marks on the walls in the room I was in, large cracks had opened up in both the floor tiles and the grout in the bathroom which appear to be from this building settling.  The large mirror that they'd installed as a closet door was flimsy, and wobbles about when you're opening and closing it, and the bathroom sink was clogged. The globe was also missing from the lighting fixture in the bathroom so the light bulbs were exposed.  The wireless internet, while free, was quite slow in my experience.  Lastly, the room I stayed in was less than sound proof. More than a few times I was awakened by people singing or talking in the hallways outside, and the sounds of water rushing through drain pipes that must've been located above or adjacent to my room.

    I also found the staff to be a bit odd.  When I arrived, I was the 3rd person waiting to be checked in, but of the 3 staff behind the counter only 1 was waiting on customers and getting people checked in, while the other two chatted away for a while, then walked back into the office and didn't so much as greet any of the guests that were waiting in line.  On the second evening of my stay, I tried to call one of my colleagues' rooms from a house phone located near the rear exit of the hotel. His room number had a zero in it, and somehow when attempting to call him, I dialed the front desk.  I apologized, hung up, and as I was walking back to my room, I noticed that the front desk attendant had moved out into the lobby and stared me down as I walked back to my room. On the morning I was departing, I saw that checkout time was at 11.  Since I was meeting some friends for an early dinner in Fort Lauderdale that night, I was hoping to stay in my room until noon to get some work done before leaving.  I called the front desk, the woman hit a few buttons on her computer and told me she could not offer late check out, but when I asked, she did agree to allow me to remain in my room until 11:15 so I could wrap up a few things I was working on.  My phone rang promptly at 11...It was another hotel employee calling to remind me that check out was at 11, but I still had my "do not disturb" sign out.  I explained that I'd spoken to the desk and that they granted permission for me to remain there until 11:15.   When I did exit my room, the cleaning lady was standing in the lobby down the hall with her cart, chatting to the employees at the front desk and watching the entrance to my room.  As soon as she saw me leave, she followed in behind to service the room. Based on these experiences, the employees here seem a bit odd, or perhaps this hotel is so small that they don't have enough to keep them occupied.

    Nice hotel, good value for the cost, but I wasn't exceptionally thrilled or wowed by my experience here.

    I usually stay at Starwood properties and have been platinum with them for a while. A few recent business trips forced me to stay at Hilton properties and I ended up staying at a few Hampton Inns.
    This particular one is fairly new. The rooms are very nicely designed with plenty of lighting and a very nice built-in desk which allows for 2 people to work side-by -side. The Internet was also faster than other Hamptons I stayed. I wouldn't say it was fast (1.5Mb down/ 1.0Mb up) but it was better than some of the Starwood properties I have stayed in; most Starwood properties I have stayed in have the slowest internet to the point where they are practically useless.  
    There is free coffee all day with 2 flavors  (Regular or Robust), they also have free breakfast in the morning consisting of Sausage patties, scrambled eggs, a really nice waffle maker , cereal and fruits.

    Great hotel! Lots of parking spots, fit for a RV. Breakfast is sufficient with eggs, sausage, make your own waffle, French Toast, and fruit salad.

    About 30 mins drive to Disney World. No shuttle. Closer to universal studios. Very clean hotel. If you forgot any necessities like tooth brush, comb, razor or shower cap; they are free.

    Very friendly service and they have a if not happy you don't have to pay policy
