This Hampton Inn is a good choice for a business trip. This clean, well-staffed hotel is within walking distance of the convention center and a dozen (chain) restaurants. The free breakfast goes a little beyond the typical continental breakfast and is a time-saver in the morning. Wifi is free in all rooms.
If I was on vacation though, I think I'd try to find a different place. The Hampton does have a pool, but it's the same sort you'd find at a motor lodge. There's no bar or restaurant in the hotel and the exercise room is minimal. I think there's plenty of hotels in the area that would have a more fun atmosphere.

Typical Hampton Inn and layout. Friendly staff. However, the rooms are tired and need urgent updating (more than the huge flat screen TV!).
But for $100+ some odd dollars, it's not that bad.

Good hotel. Location is great, lots of bars and restaurants near-by with easy access to theme parks and and shopping. The staff here are very friendly and make the hotel what it is. Hotel is not fancy but not many people spend a lot of time in their room in Orlando. it's very clean and reasonably spacious. Good hot breakfast served evey morning.
This was my second trip to this hotel and i'd happily go back again. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We always stay at Hampton Inn if we can. This was by far the worst Hampton Inn experience we have ever had. We are used to the rooms being much cleaner. We arrived late at night, the room key we were given opened the door to a room that was already occupied. We were very lucky not to have startled the guests in the room or to walk in on a very awkward situation and it made us seriously question our own security in our own room once we settled into one. We wouldn't stay at this location again.
I'm only giving it two stars because we will remain loyal to the Hampton Inn brand and have had so many good experiences at other locations. This hotel appeared to have all the same good things we expect at any other Hampton Inn but whether it was just a really bad night or their standards just aren't has high as the other locations, we really can't tell.

We stay here every year for a week long convention. The best part? The friendly service. I've encountered the front desk and other staff having friendly conversation with guests, or offering assistance and you can tell they really care!
Rooms are comfortable. Lots of pillows. Great comforters. Large enough size.
Pool is beautiful and generally pretty quiet. Mostly business travelers stay here. Some families.
Breakfast is varied with plenty of options: baked goods, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, hot entrees and bread.
Location off of International Drive is next to a Walgreens, lots of restaurants, bars and entertainment. And the trolley, which can take you just about anywhere you want.
The only thing I can "complain" about is the spotty wifi connection. And then - is it really that big a deal?
Highly recommend this hotel for business travelers or savvy families who don't want to pay inflated Orlando prices.
