wow. this was a great stay, everything was wonderful, especially for the price.

the staff were very nice, check in went quick and smooth. the room was so clean and new and smelled nice.
after walking all day in all the parks, their wonder bed really made a heaven for me. extremely comfortable!!!!

I choose Hampton again because of the nice experience in New Orleans just a few days ago. and this one went way beyond my expectation!!
24 hour coffee and tea, shuttle bus to Disney and good breakfast buffet. what can I ask for more from 79 dollars a night??? those who think the breakfast was just ok, you should just spend money to eat out.

little downside, the wifi here was bad just like other Hamptons, but hey, why should I care when my purpose is to travel and have fun outside?? besides, the bed took me out fast enough I didn't even have time to think about this issue.

    overall, big recommendation.
    I love this place.

The hallway on the 5th floor was really really smoky and stinky.  Our room was quite decent though (no smells), clean, average beds, nice bathroom.  The A/C can get really loud and not always consistent.

Pros--free breakfast, 24/7 coffee and hot tea in lobby, and convenient location.

Always a nice at this property.  Rooms are clean, staff is great.  Breakfast is a great bonus. We stay here about 5 times a year for weekend getaways. Never disappointed. Great location for access to Disney and outside the park food.

Good location. Clean. Nice rooms.  But no safe in the room.  Breakfast and beverage service which is included was completely  lacking over our 3 day stay.   They were always out of hot water, coffee, or various breakfast items.  Very annoying.
But overall, it was an excellent value.

Stayed here one night before our Disney vacation officially began at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The place was clean, quiet and an excellent value.  Didn't really utilize any amenities other than the free breakfast, which was good - eggs, sausage patties, waffles, fresh fruit, etc
Rate was less than $80 / night with AAA discount.

We always stay at Hamptons when we travel. Taking into account this is about 2 miles from WDW it was not the usual Hampton. One big thing to note this is November 2012. IF you are going there right now it is under construction. We arrived on Sunday November the 4th. The dining room was packed to the gills on Monday morning. The food was replenished as needed. The attendant was pleasant BUT if you are okay with being packed in like sardines then go for it. On Tuesday, the dining room was demolished. It was rerouted to a temporary breakfast dining area. I went and looked at it that night when we got in from WDW. It was literally 12 tables elbow to elbow room. If I thought it was crammed the first day this gave way to a new meaning for crammed in. From Tuesday thru Saturday I just took my room beverage tray and went down and got coffe first then went back and brought breakfast up for me and hubby. God forbid if you have kids I dont know how that would work. I Friday night one of the elevators was not in service so only one was available. We got on it and it wouldn't go up or down we had to get off and go to the front desk and report that. Overall it is just a mess right now. They have the wall paper crew everywhere, sheetrock dust everywhere. They also left the side security door propped open so they could come and go. That I did not like. That gave free rein for anyone to wonder into the hotel. Maybe when it gets finalized it will be ok. I wouldn't go back even after the refurb is done. That draw of free breakfast with the throngs of people with screaming kids and packed like sardines it not worth it.

Our room was a king bed but we had to take a handicap room to get it. I dont know what is up with their rooms. They had only one night stand and then all the lamps in the room were with some horrible shades that let those awful energy saving light bulbs blare bright harsh light into your eyes. They had a bit bulky  upholstered chair where they should have had a second table lamp by the bed. No matter the lamp lighting was horrible.

We paid $80 for three nights 97 for one night Thursday and $107 for Friday night. I  wish we would have stayed at the  Marriott Courtyard up the road on Palm Parkway. I was there with my dad in the spring. Breakfast Buffet was $10 but it would have been worth it for the comfort and peace of not feeling like I was on a Chicago subway at rush hour in the middle of road construction. They should tell you that they are in the middle of ripping up the hotel lobby, dining and elevator before you come there. They won't but I am.

I love to stay at Hampton Inn's when I'm going out of town and don't want to stay somewhere fancy. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the showerheads massage-y and the room very CLEAN. The only reason why I am not giving 4 stars is because the code for the WIFI was expired and they wouldn't honor our Hilton Honors card. I would def stay here again.

I was praying that I chose the right place for my recent trip to Orlando and Hampton really didn't disappoint me. First of all I got the room for $70 a night thru Priceline. I got the date changed directly by the hotel right away with no hassle and great friendly customer service.

The place was very clean both on the common areas of the lobby and eating section for breakfast as well as the rooms.

One thing that will make me cringe is a dirty hotel and this one seems to have been very well kept and possibly recently refurbished.

The room is a perfect size for 4 people max, 2 queen beds and they have a plasma as well as a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave which came in super handy. The bathroom is fully equipped with plenty of towels and a double sink and tub.

The area and the breakfast by far are the best perks.
The FREE buffet breakfast is very well appointed from Mickey waffles (they were ok) to yogurts, some type of eggs, fruit, cereal, all types of pastries. There is also a quick grab bag they have by the front of the front desk if you need to leave early and don't have time to sit down and eat. It was great on the day we had to leave on their shuttle (FREE again) to Epcot. Make sure you are on time or they will leave you...

Another awesome thing is free coffee & tea 24 hrs a day & when you need that surge of energy or in my case I had a tummy ache from overindulging at the food and wine at the Epcot festival there was plenty of chamomile to settle my tummy.

The area is super close to downtown Disney and also the parks. About 10 min from some of them.  The highway (I-4) which takes you to the parks is about 3 minutes away.

I will definitely come back and recommend to any friend or family.

The room smelled like chemicals that are meant to cover up bad odors but did a bad job at it.

The bed was really squeaky and the sheets as hard as paper.

The breakfast seemed like Burger King breakfast; not my ideal choice, but it's better than nothing. I won't lie, it wasn't terrible.

Pros:  Great attentive, helpful and courteous staff. Good location and free breakfast. Newly remodeled lobby area. Free WiFi. Pretty affordable room rates.

Cons:  Rooms need better maintenance, including fixing loose toilet seats, sagging shower curtains and inconsistent maid service. Poor internal operational procedures caused problem with reservations, including charging of wrong and higher room rates. Breakfast, while free, tastes mediocre at best. No in-room safe.

Great hotel, very close to Disney World. They provide free shuttle buses from the hotel to Disney World (Earliest being 8 am and latest at 10 pm).

Front desk was great, they have complimentary hygienic things available in case you forgot them (tooth brush, floss, shower cap, tooth paste, shaving cream and razor).

I've had no problems with their service, their wifi can be difficult at times (i think it's my phone) but it works. Their breakfast area is large enough to serve the many visitors to Disney.

Spacious parking even for an RV. The inside and outside of the hotel is very nicely maintained. Very beautiful.

One thing I didn't like about my room was the noise from the Air Conditioning unit, I am a light sleeper and I ended up turning it off in the middle of the night.

Their complimentary breakfast is consistent with their other chains providing: Mickey mouse shaped waffles, sausages, bacon, eggs, various fruits, oatmeal, cup yogurts, cereal, bagels, and sliced bread with toasters. As for liquids; Orange Juice, Fruit Juice, Passion Fruit Juice, Milk, Coffee and Tea.

We held a corporate event in Orlando and chose to house our participants at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista.  The Sales Director was very easy to work with and made my job (event planner) very easy.  The front staff were very helpful, even going so far as to help carry boxes from my car into the hotel.  They stored items behind the desk for me and helped give out goody bags.  The rooms were nice - I believe this is a newer Hampton Inn.  I couldn't have asked for better service.

I definitely recommend the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista.

Excellent experience!  Place was clean, service was friendly, and ameneties were useful.  Daily breakfast was good and free coffee throughout the day was an unexpected bonus.  The only disappointment was the concierge service (onsite, but not affiliated with hotel).  They did not have anything worth standing in line for.

Great for our Disney World Vacation!! Wish we could stay longer and actually use the pool which looked awesome from our window.  Great breakfast,  lots of food,  women go above and beyond to make sure you have breakfast.  We didn't use the shuttle since we had our car.  Shuttle leaves early morning and picks up at night. We were gone all day.  But nice to come back to an extra clean room.

Manager was very rude when I asked for service. My room was filthy. Bugs, toenails and sharp shards of glass on the floor. (See Pics I posted) Very unprofessional General Manager.

Very clean, well maintained. At the front desk, Stephanie was very pleasant and helpful. This place has recently added brand new carpets among other gorgeous upgrades!! They pride themselves with ensuring all bedding is is completely cleaned for every guest checking in. The pillows are fabulous! The outside pool & hot tub area are absolutely beautiful- very peaceful. The land scape is so pretty!!! Im surrounded by Florida palm trees! Beautiful. Breakfast buffet included! They've got a 24/7 coffee bar! They have a gym. Very close to Disney. 4 stars from me, my reason is because while I think it is fabulous, there's always room for improvement!! I would Definitely recommend this place!

This hotel was pretty good, especially for the price.

I was on a business trip, but I can imagine that this is a fairly good location for park-goers-- it's near Disney, but not within the limits. The area is also close to the outlet malls and lots of food options.

I always appreciate it when Hamptons have the 24-hour coffee and tea service, and the variety of tea available was great, so I'm a huge fan.

Decor and beds were fairly standard, though I will say that their bedside charging station was excellent- two plugs, two USB.

The only downside was in the shower. The shower-head wouldn't move, so I had to have the entire shower pressed very close to the wall. it also had only two temperatures- scalding and ice cube. It was tall enough, though, so small mercies.

I didn't get to try the breakfast, but it looked quite good.

We've stayed at this Hampton before with no previous problems and make Hampton our hotel of choice when we do travel, until now.

This weekend our room was nice, the staff friendly, breakfast wonderful. We checked out Sunday and around 5PMI looked at my CC that I used to put the charges on the room. I was charged 207.28. I called the resort and spoke to Nastasha. I told her I had been overcharged. She said these charges have been approved for incidentals. I asked her what they were and she said she didn't know. I let her know I didn't buy anything and I wanted these charges refunded. This was an overcharge of $27.04. She said she couldn't refund my money. I asked for the manager and she said he wasn't there. I said so you overcharged me, but don't know why, you can't refund my money and there isn't anyone there that can. She started to laugh and said the manager would be in the next day at 1.

I was very distressed by this and called the 1-800-hampton number. I spoke with Branden and told him what happened. He said he couldn't do anything and he would send a note of dispute to the hotel. I asked what incidental charges were and he said food, water, anything from the store. I told him I hadn't bought anything and he said he would note this.

The next day 9-29-14 at 3PM I called and asked to speak to the manager. He answers with "this is Rob". No hello, thank you for calling Hampton Inn, nothing, just this is Rob. I proceed to begin telling him my name and before I get any further he cuts me off and says yeah your on my list of people to call. WOW!!! How rude, and people to call? I don't need to know about how many complaints you've had. I'm NOT a number, I'm a customer with a valid problem.

He tells me that I was overcharged for incidentals. I tell him I purchased nothing and he says he knows. It's corporate policy to overcharge me 15% for my convenience in case I want something in the store. I let him know that no one told me of this charge, no paper work stated this charge, and I've stayed in this resort before with no charge as well as other Hampton Inn's with no charge. He says it's policy. I ask when it went into affect and he replied with it's always been this way. I told him it never has before and he says yeah it has you just didn't notice.

At this point I'm frustrated and ask him to give me the 15% back he says it's just a pending transaction and whenever the bank releases it I'll be charged the 180.24. I tell him that this has resulted in me being charged a fee by my bank because I only put the 180.24 in. He said my money was only pending and it was not his problem that the bank holds the money for their desired length and he has nothing to do with it.

I could see I wasn't going to get an apology so I said goodbye. A couple of hours later I checked my CC that I held the room with. (I used a different CC to pay) It was charged one nights stay. I called the resort and spoke to Nastasha and she said they do that, but it was just pending and I wasn't charged. I told her I've never had them charge my CC that is holding unless I pay for the room upfront online. She said that's policy.

I've never had this happen before. So 2 CC's were "pending". This resulted in me not having money. Even though it was pending it counted against the money I had until the pending status was taken off by my bank. I've never had this happen before so I don't believe it's policy and nothing stated this was policy anywhere. I didn't even get an apology.

Last time we stayed at this Hampton Inn 9/6/13-9/8/13 we actually got a room that smelled musty. The manager at that time was so sweet and explained due to the rain there had been some leaking and found us a new room. All weekend she apologized and asked how we were. She was so fabulous we returned this year!

As of right now I will not return. This is not Hampton Inn standards. I am not satisfied. I will not return with Robert Joseph as the manager of this resort. I was disrespected. When I called the corporate number, if  cahrging 15% over was policy Branden would have explained that to me then and he didn't.

I then contacted Hampton Inn Corporate to voice all of this again. The reply I received was- we contacted the hotel and they say all funds that were on pending have now been released and the correct amount posted. STILL NO APOLOGY!!!

This is a typical Hampton Inn -- which is a good thing.  Very adequate hotel, without being fancy.

The rooms are nice and the bedding is very good.  The furniture and decor are nothing special.  Everything was clean.

The breakfast is better than some, and I like the Mickey Mouse shaped make-your-own waffles.  A nice touch.

The hotel is pretty easy access to all parks.  You don't have to go out to I-4.  However, traffic can be bad to get here at the end of the day.  That is the nature of the beast.

All in all, a good place to stay if you are doing to Disney.  Also, a bargain if you are cashing in HHonors points.

First time at this location. We usually stay with Hampton Inn brand. Vacation for the week in Orlando.  The hotel staff and the room was very good and clean.  The breakfast was good.

The staff always make sure the food was refilled.  Loved the Mickey Mouse waffles.  Close to the International Drive.  Outlet was less then 2 miles .  Wonderful hotel stay with Hampton Inn !

We had a great experience at this hotel. We went for our Disney World vacation and were pleasantly surprised at how great the Hampton Inn was. The room was clean, the pool was cold, and the breakfast was hot! The staff was also amazing! They were very accommodating. We will be returning for our future trips to Disney!

We had a great experience at Hampton Inn Buena Vista! Although there was a small mishap with our check in and room reservation. They quickly resolved this for us and apologized various times even a letter from the hotel manager. We were also offered a discount on one of our nights and free snacks as well!
The treated us very courteously and with a high degree of professionalism.
The resort was clean, relatively quite for a hotel housing dozens of families with children.
The breakfast buffet was great and very filling. The kids really enjoyed the Mickey shaped waffles!
Its extremely close to the parks 15 mins away on I-4. About  5 mins from Downtown Disney.
Near family friendly  restaurants and a 24 hour supermarket that came in very convenient to us.
    Will definitely be returning again!
