This place was pretty decent for me and my friend's needs as far as our Orlando visit.  They serve complimentary breakfast, which worked out well.  Eat a big breakfast, and snack till dinner.  Room was very clean, and nice that they have free wi-fi.  My only concern was the police patrols our whole time here.  Saw many police cars en route from Tampa to Orlando, and even saw a chase across the street.  But overall, the hotel met our needs of being able to go to Downtown Disney, and Universal Studios, and even Disney Hollywood Studios...  Close to all parks in the area...

Have stayed here several times. Always very nice. This last trip has really sold me on these guys. Lost my fathers ring in motel. My one inherited item that had meaning to me. Ring was found by staff and returned. I am so thankful for this honest person.

Have stayed here on several occasions over the last 3 years.  Rooms are clean and comfortable.  Staff is friendly and helpful.  Close to many restaurants, and Universal studios.  $5.00 (or less) cab ride to Citywalk.

I was in the area for a trade show and found this Hampton Inn online and their rates were excellent ($79 per night, advance purchase).

This is a very typical Hampton Inn that I have utilized before traveling throughout the country.  It was very clean and simple.  The bathroom did have a tub and sink that were very slow to drain.  I informed the front desk on my way to dinner, and when I returned, it was already addressed.

    I would definitely return!

Room was clean and comfortable.  The complimentary breakfast offered everything I could want for breakfast.  I especially liked all the options for coffee.  The location was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and the various parks in the area.
We did encounter one employee at the breakfast that was rude and seemed bothered anytime someone asked for anything.  However, all the other employees were more than friendly and helpful.
Overall, this was a good experience and I would stay here again.

I clicked "No" asking if this location provides #Wifi. It is not as teeth pulling as FedEx but at 1.1MB download dont expect to get work done or download a audio book. You can just about surf the web. The fact remains many of us guest are on the move and need to access our files and share files. Being connected is half the experience.

It's a typical Hampton Inn, conveniently located close to Universal and CityWalk. The staff seemed nice and the rooms were clean. There's a pool out back, but I didn't go in.

Breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn fare that changes little throughout the country.  It's a good, filling breakfast and it's free.  No doubt a benefit to vacationing parents spending way too much money on theme park tickets for the family.

On occasion in the past, I've been able to find prices at the Doubletree down the street that are similar to those of the Hampton.  In that case, I'd choose the Doubletree.  Otherwise, save a little money and stay here.  The quality of the rooms themselves are not much different, so why pay more?

The hotel met my family's needs well.  It was basically a room to stay in, WiFi to surf, and a free breakfast.  We choose this property for it's price, free breakfast, and free shuttle to Universal.  It delivered on all three.

Breakfast was good, and as expected. Evening cookies was a nice touch. The rooms were fine. The hotel is not quite done with the renovations, but it seemed close to complete (some paint and base boards needed).  The pool was adequate for my 4 and 7 year olds.  The shuttle ride to Universal was quick and on time. It is clearly not a resort or destination hotel, but it was perfect for our needs.  If you are looking for a low cost hotel close to Universal with a free breakfast, this is a great choice.

Excellent location, which is pretty much across the street from Universal.  The rate was competitive.  The hotel has a small pool and a complimentary continental breakfast which were nice perks.  I would certainly not  mind staying here again.

Interior is nice and clean.  Room did have a weird smell from the A/C unit that I had to get air freshener for.  Being your own conditioner because they do not leave any for you.  You have to go the front desk to get it.  I guess conditioner is at a all time high for market value.

Let me explain my Hampton ratings...I'm a fan of Hampton. Unless I am looking for a resort, it's my go-to place where I know I am going to get a clean room, a yummy bed, and a decent breakfast. I rate most Hamptons 4 stars. Most are similar. Occasionally one stands above the rest; it gets 5 stars. The few that are not up to par with the rest get 3 stars.

This property was pretty much your average Hampton. As for staff, they were excellent! Friendly and efficient. Parking was no problem. Breakfast was complete, and replenished efficiently as needed.

Leaving International Drive behind by going west only a mile or so, dropped the rate by a few dollars a night vs. other Hamptons in the area.

I actually really liked this hotel. The location is a little hard to find but everything else was really good. Only 5 minutes from Universal Studios and approximately 15 minutes from the Disney parks, this Hampton inn is very affordable and great for the price. Free complimentary breakfast that ranges from eggs, waffles, cereal, etc, we saved a lot on that. The beds are clean and comfy. Cleaning service everyday unless you choose not to have it. The staff is really nice and welcoming. WiFi is not free everyday. If you are staying only a day, you can consider it free but if you are staying more than a day, WiFi is available only 24 hours. I have no complaints about this hotel. It was just great and I recommend this to anyone and everyone.

This is a slightly older Hampton Inn, currently being renovated. It's showing its age but the re-do should fix that.

Rooms are very clean and a nice size. The beds are very comfortable, and with the blackout curtains invite long morning sleep-ins. Rooms come with a convenient refrigerator and microwave. The fridge was a tad on the loud side.

Bathroom is large and comfortable. But I found the hot water could run out by 9AM.

Morning breakfast is free and very complete. Something for everyone. Cookies in the afternoon.

The hotel is on a side street and accessing it through heavy or rush hour traffic can be unnerving. Sometimes it's easier to go a long way around to get in and out.

The staff is exceeding friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to be helpful.

Plenty of parking and a good location. Good value for the money.

Close, clean and economical. You get what you pay for. The staff was friendly but you can tell that the property was a little run down. For example, the bathroom doors are in need of a finish.

But for the price, it's comfortable and the continental breakfast is perfect - a little bit of everything for everyone - oatmeal, cereal, yogurt or waffles. Nearby are also restaurants - Hooters, Chick-fil-a, a Thais restaurant, Kobe or Walgreens. This was extremely helpful after spending a day at Universal when your dogs are barking and you just want to eat and sleep.

My only warning is that when you reserve your hotel, make sure you check the address. There are a handful in the nearby area. We went to the one on Kirkman first.

This is a standard stay "O Town". Close to good restaurants as well as the interstate. The fitness center could use an update, but the rooms are very nice. The staff is friendly and even called my room to make sure everything was ok. the breakfast was standard Hampton..... it's Tuesday and that means powdered eggs, but again the hostess was friendly and asked me how I was doing.

Really good value. The place is a little hidden but not too difficult to find. It is about 15 min to most of the main attractions like Universal, Disney and Seaworld. (Closest to Universal) There are tons of fast food places around like IHOP and McDonald's as well as gas stations and Walgreens. The receptionists were really nice and the atmosphere was very homely. Cool thing was they let us check in early. We arrived in Orlando in the early morning and our actual check in was 4 PM. When we showed up to confirm our stay, they said our room was ready and checked us in.

They have free breakfast every morning and I saved quite a bit of money just on that. The rooms were clean, decent size and comfortable. Complimentary free wifi was only for 24 hours so I ended up tethering with my phone. They do have a internet computer downstairs but never used it. Apparently they offer shuttles to theme parks but again I never used it because I had a rental.

Overall, they have everything you need if you are on a budget or just looking for good value. I didn't have a single issue with this Hampton inn. I would highly recommend this place.

The price &  location can't be beat. It's near major highways and many attractions and restaurants. And free parking! Huge win! The lobby is stunning - modern and chic. I had high hopes.

And then I left the lobby. It was hot in the hallways and elevator (it's Florida - we a/c everything here!). Like I'm starting to sweat a bit hot. I had issues with the key. I asked if they had a list of local restaurants. The agent at the desk started verbally listing options. Not what I had in mind. A quick check on Yelp was just the thing to find dinner. The room itself was clean, but tired. So tired. It was crying out for paint and a deep clean (there were strange streaks on the wood furniture and some of it looked a little broken). The chair in my room was yellow, I think, but had an odd gray cast, which made it look dirty. Thankfully I checked my toiletries before bed - I would have been ticked if it were 5 am and I realized they only stocked it with lotion. Had to go down and pick up shampoo/conditioner (they wouldn't bring it up when I called). Hot water was intermittent at best. The wifi, while free, is SLOW. I was unable to load documents to my dropbox. Literally was still trying to upload them the next morning. AC in my room may have been working ok, but the room faced West, so it got afternoon sun and was so hot. I left the curtains closed when I left in the am, but they were open when I got back that evening. Breakfast was standard Hampton fair. I think next time, I'll find another place to stay.

Quick update - I actually heard from the assistant gm. We talked about all issues and came to resolution. That's how you do customer service. Might stay there again after all.

I would like to start out by saying that Cameron at the front desk was amazing!  Actually the 2 gentlemen we encountered at the front desk were just excellent (we stayed there on 2 occasions in January).  We never made it to breakfast so I can't comment on that.  The rooms were comfortable and clean.  Cable was good and the TV channels were great.  Housekeeping attendants were rude to say the least.  They were the only negative.  I would highly recommend staying at this location if visiting Universal.

Super friendly staff!!! Clean rooms and super close to Universal.  Would have given them 4 stars, but housekeeping didn't leave conditioner so I had to ask.  I hate carrying toiletries through the airport so that's important to me....if that's no big deal then this is an awesome hotel close to the attractions I'm Orlando.  There is a Walgreens and a bunch of restaurants close by.  Highly recommended!

Had a great time. The room was clean,  fresh and decorated nicely. The sheets are really good soft and clean scent. Pillows where perfect fluffy. All you need is your USB to charge your devices any where at the hotel. Room had the night table with a built in USB port. The main lobby also. Breakfast was also good. The kitchen keeped it fresh, clean and full. Great job! Wow I am impressed. Thanks for the great hospitality!

A little outdated but the friendly staff, decently clean rooms, great nightly rates, and free continental breakfast in the mornings made up for it. Not only that, but this hotel is SO CLOSE to Universal Studios! There are also a bunch of other restaurants nearby too if you don't want to eat at the hotel, most of them walking distance too. My only concern about this hotel and why I subtracted a star was the pool. It was not well-kept and the water just looked straight up murky. You would think from the hot weather Florida has, you would expect guests to be swimming. Nope! Not a single person was out at the pool the entire 3 hours I tried to sunbathe. That was, until I saw a bunch of geckos and lizards running around. Yuck. So as long as you don't care about the swimming pool, I recommend this hotel if you plan on going to Universal Studios.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Universal and had a great experience. The on-site hotels had jacked their rates up to several hundred per night, so when I found a much more reasonable rate online for this Hampton I booked immediately. Such a good decision! I even got to check in online and choose my room with hhonors - something I have never done before. We stayed on the fourth floor, which was a smart choice since the first floor is quite busy/noisy and the top floor apparently has roof noise.

The room was spotless. And service from the staff was wonderful as always. That's the main reason my family almost always chooses Hampton. I suppose my only qualm was breakfast, which was somewhat hard to obtain both mornings. I ended up grabbing a yogurt and taking it back to my room as all the hot options were out or had a neverending line. Next time I'll be the first one! (or not)

The hotel also offers cute perks like free coffee and cookies. The coffee was a nice touch to get me ready for a day of Harry Potter. They do offer a park shuttle that leaves in the morning and returns at night. If you want to come back earlier I suggest taking an Uber but be prepared for surge prices (x2 for us) as the day goes on.

Overall, this Hampton is convenient and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.
