My 5 year old son, his caregiver and I stayed there on a VIP promotional offer whereby you pay $117 a month for 15 months in order to get a  stay at a Grand Vacations Resort. We stayed for 8 night/9 days in a 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi, shower, bath and kitchenette. It was very nice and the service was good plus there was an onsite deli and three pools - cold, warm and hot with a waterfall outside. The only part I didn't like was the pressure to become a time-share owner - I was scheduled for a meeting on the Friday but the notification was sent to me by mail to our home address and only reached me after we had left Orlando. I got a call at the hotel stating that I had missed the meeting and would have to pay a $500 fine if I didn't attend so I was forced to go there during lunch time the day before we left. I did not like the pressure non-stop to become a timeshare owner. It took away the pleasure from the trip especially since I told them that I recently found out that my job contract would end next year and couldn't commit to buying a timeshare right away. The man looked at me like I was nuts to walk away from paying $15,000 for a time share plus closing costs of $595 and taxes of $650 a year when it would supposedly save me money on vacations for the next 10 years or so. Sorry but I also have a mortgage, a kid to send to private school and other expenses plus I need to get another job first.

This is a very nice resort. Nice pool, small lake in the back, shuffle board, basketball court, and a tennis court. you can spend most of your vacation at the resort if you wanted to. The only complaint i have is that the bathroom was kind of dirty. there were some blood spots on the wall, the water smells in orlando, and the shower door needed to be replaced. My only other complaint were the tvs in the room. you can tell these were purchased during the early 90's. how about some lcds or plasmas folks? Is this like staying at the Wynn Las Vegas, hell no, but it is still a nice quiet resort. Kudos to my gfs dad for the free room. thank god he has a timeshare.

I was here a couple of weeks ago on a business trip.  The experience was rather mediocre.

It's a huge expansive hotel and seems like it's a great place for families to stay (it's right across the street from Sea World).

However, for the business traveler, there were a few things that really annoyed me:
- No internet access from my room, through an ethernet connection or wifi.  I had to go to the lobby every time I wanted to use the Internet. Supposedly it broke the day before I arrived (how convenient) & they had people "working on it", but apparently that could not be done in the 4 days I was there.  Heard from another guy that this is what happens when there are lots of business travelers and everyone is trying to get online (but most of the guests were families on vacation).  I came to the conclusion that they just don't have Internet.
- Like I mentioned before, the hotel is huge, so every time I wanted to go to the lobby, I would either have to walk 15 minutes to get there, or call someone in a golf cart to come get me (which could take up to 15 minutes)
- No room service.  Well, the only room service available was pizza and I don't eat pizza.
- The only restaurant at the hotel was some poolside cafe type restaurant with okay food.
- The convenience store is only open until 11PM, so if you want to get water or anything after that, you are out of luck.

The pros:
- The rooms are huge. My room had a huge bed, living room, kitchen, bathroom, & jet tub.  Definitely way too big for just one person.  And it was only just a place to sleep.
- That's it.

The customer service was not great.  If I had to compare it to other hotels that I've stayed at, I would put it at the bottom of the list.

Great place to stay!! Beautiful resort with a very nice pool. When we got here I realizes I booked a room that was a bit small. I called the front desk, they were more than happy to move me to a villa at no extra charge. Couldn't be any happier!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Went to Orlando for a meeting, and wanted a nice hotel relatively close to the meeting.  Was a little apprehensive because of the very low price (compared to the giant convention hotels) and because some reviews had indicated that this place might be too noisy with children.

Neither was true.

In terms of noise - there are plenty of families and kids around, but this is also a large complex with a lot of rooms.  It might get noisier in the summer/high season, but during the fall trip, there was nary a peep for the entire time I was there.  Beautifully quiet and relaxing.

The facilities?  Exceeded expectations.  The decor of the room is a little cheesy, but come on, it's the headquarters of Disneyworld.  Otherwise it was great - well maintained, felt pretty new.  Each "studio" has a nice balcony from which to enjoy the warm weather.

The check-in place in the center of the complex had great staff (and daily fruit + lemonade.)  They have an Expedia counter right next to them, where you can buy tickets to any of the amusement parks.  The ladies there were the only unpleasant interaction during the entire stay there - they are overly aggressive and tried to get you to waste time on their time share talk in exchange for a "free" ticket.  Annoying.

The central area also has a pool, eating area, and food place where one can stock up on snacks or order sandwiches or other hot food.  There were a lot of daily activities, mostly for kids, but also some movie showings that adults might enjoy.

Location?  Excellent.  SeaWorld is literally down the street (walkable).  All other things are within shuttle distance, and you can sign up with the Expedia ladies for the shuttle service ($6 for Animal Kingdom, etc).  They use Mears shuttle, which was great - because I was the only one coming/going at that particular time, they sent a cab instead of the regular shuttle.  Much faster.

Price?  Book directly with them online - if they have room, there's usually a non-refundable online rate that is dramatically lower than anything found on expedia or other search engines.  (as low as $80 a night!)

Overall it was a great experience - an extremely good value for the price!

I usually come here once a year for work and thats always in december. i love staying at this place. im always booked in the suite for a week and i love it. theres a washer/dryer, living room, jacuzzi next to my bed, my own kitchen..AHH, i love it. shopping is close by, too.
i gave it only four stars because the restaurant is blah. the food is awful. i tried the gator nuggets and that tasted like rubber.
stay here and you will love it. the shower is huge. very clean. always tidy.

downstairs is a mini mart store with over priced items. youre better off going to a cvs or walgreens for stuff.

Great hotel/resort. I have stayed here a few times and found it to be cheaper than the other mid range hotels for way more service and nicer rooms. You can also get a free fast pass for Sea World if you stay here so you get to move to the front of the lines. Great for families or business travelers looking for more hotel at a good rate.

Disappointed with the pool scene. Seating area is far too small for the number of guests.

Great location for parks, Seaworld is just a short walk away. Very friendly staff. We were greeted at the front gate and by the time we had parked up our room keys were ready at reception. Pretty impressive. As in all HGVC properties, kitchens are very well appointed and the room accomodation was excellent.

Invited to attend Hilton's presentation and stayed here for three nights in a studio. The rooms need some renovating, but overall are alright. The bed was a full size...egh. Was most impressed by the amenities and the service. The pool, poolside activities, on-site movie theater, on-site deli, etc. were all great. I also appreciated the daily phone messages from the activity directors and other various staff updating us and thanking us for various things. Would stay there again, but would hope they would renovate the rooms by then.

My friends planned a "staycation" here this past weekend. I was not a guest and did not sleep over, but I did use the pool and hung out in their rooms for a bit.

The pool area is fantastic. There are two, large pools, plenty of seating, quite a bit of shade and several areas in which little kids can play. One of the pools is heated - though I'm not sure if it's just because it's the kiddie pool (full of 98.6 degree pee?) or if it's heated. I'll go with that it's heated. :) Because this is a vacation club, members are certainly allowed to bring food and drink to the pool which cuts down on overall costs. The pool-area bathrooms were rather clean and our server was very nice.

The rooms are also very nice - they're actually small condos. They have washers and dryers, kitchens and dishwashers. This is a great place in which to stay if you own a Hilton timeshare, trade, or rent from an internet site (Expedia). Although the decor is a teeny bit outdated, it is also the oldest Hilton vacation club in Orlando.

Great experience!

First, let me refute a statement made in an earlier post on this site - there definitely is free internet in the rooms - both wired and wireless.  Yes, the TVs are older, but does that really matter?  The rooms are very nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean and with a fully furnished kitchen, living room, screened in balcony, jacuzzi tub for two, two pools, 5 hot tubs, a walking trail around the lake, on-premis restaurant and convenience store, obvious security 24 hours, and a fabulous location for either business (1.5 miles from Orange County Convention Center) or pleasure (Sea World across the street, Walt Disney and Universal within 10 minutes), shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, and planned activities throughout the day every day, WHAT MORE CAN ONE ASK FOR AT THIS PRICE???

Customer service was exceptional.  I, too, joined for the 15 month trial but my stay this time was not part of that package.  I chose this property on hiltonhonors.com BECAUSE i had stayed at two HGVC properties in Vegas and at the Hilton Grand Waikkian in Hawaii and knew how great it would be and it is.

To further clarify, it is a lovely 3 minute (NOT 15 MINUTE) walk from the fartherest building to the clubhouse where the main pool, restaurant, store, gym are located and you CAN call for a golf cart pickkup if needed.  How is that for service?

Take my advice.  I spend a lot of time in hotels.  This is a great choice.

Love this place. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Pools are nice and actives fun. Located in a nice area: centrally located. My only complaint would be we called for new towels after a few days and so we left larger pile of wet towels where they could be seen but even though fresh towels were issued old towels remained in our room until we checked out 3 days later. Yuk

This was a fantastic location! Although the first night they placed us next to a boiler room or mechanical room. They moved us right away and sent a bellman to take care of us. Other from that, the room was very spacious! A lot of activities to do on site! Very close to all the major attractions! We had a great stay and vacation!

From my old traveling days I have accumulated quite a bit of Hilton points so naturally it's time to redeem them while I was in Orlando.

This is a large resort hotel and I was very surprised to see how nice it is maintained.  When I pulled into the property at the front gate, there was a staff welcoming me and asked my last name, then he announced it to the front desk via intercom saying:  Ms. O and her guest have arrived!  Wow, I felt like a million dollars!  hee hee.  That is something!  (I am easily pleased)

The front desk ladies gave me the warmest welcome and smile one can ever received, and she assigned me to a deluxe room located their newly renovated building on the highest floor facing swimming pool.

When I drove up to my building and I was like WOW, this is such a beautiful place and I REALLY felt like I am here for vacation!  Very nicely done exterior with Spanish decor, beautiful landscaping, trees, hibiscus flowers, I really feel like in paradise.

My room also is decorated with tropical scene and beautiful wicker furniture and nice patio with screen.  The room is bright, light and clean.  I especially like the mini-kitchen.   I also found a safe, laundry basket, iron and extra comforter in the closet.  They even provided a package of laundry detergent.  Very nice touch!

The bathroom is spacious and modern, love their Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo, condition and body wash.  I am a sucker for girly pampering stuff like this.

The bed was comfy and I had no problem falling asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.  It was a very nice experience at this hotel.

Staff were very helpful when I need anything.  They even gave me a ride to my destination.  I didn't get to use their pools (yes, more than 1 pool) or restaurants, but I did find out that they do have business center.

I am very pleased with this hotel, only thing I have to mention is that there is no free wi-fi connection.  They charge you for that.  Also if you have to use their computer to go online, they also charge you by minute.  That really blows.

Besides that.  Wonderful place to stay.  I will definitely go back there again.

Overall - Great place to stay. Extremely Irritated with the facility trying to get you to attend an owner meeting to upgrade just to buy discounted tickets!!!

Check in was expected. It's a gated community, which requires you to provide your name to security for access. Parking permits are provided at check-in. Check out is 10am.

The 3-bedroom suite (3 bedrooms, combined living/dining area, kitchen) is extremely spacious! The master bedroom has a tub spa and separate shower. The master bath is extremely spacious just like home! The second bedroom has a disconnected bath (2 sink, combined tub/shower. The 3rd bedroom has a mini fridge, sink, microwave and utensils with a combined tub/shower. It (3rd) has a double with a pull out sofa and extra blankets and comforters in the closet. The master and 3rd bedrom has a screened patio with seating.

TVs are CRT in all rooms. The living area has a DVD player.
Heat induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge are standard. Minimum cooking utensils are provided.
Ice machines are located at the bottom floors with a vending machine. The icebox is turned off at check-in, which will require you to fetch some ice.
There is a stacked washer and electric dryer. The dryer is Useless. It takes more than 1hr to dry a standard load!
The decor is your standard resort floral flare. Nothing impressive.

Main Community Area:
2 pools, hot tubs, and 1-foot pool for kids.
Restaurant/bar
Billiards
Table tennis
Shuffleboard
Kids outdoor playground
Gym
Kids activity center
Movie Theater
Computer area with printers
Concierge
Gazebo at the lake with a walking pathway to stroll around the lake
Ticket service center-if you're an club owner the ticket service center will HIGHLY encourage you to participate in a club meeting to obtain discounted theme tickets. They require a lot of redirecting to what you really want! They charge an extra $20 fee to include park hopper options. Purchase theme tickets at the park!

General Area
Charcoal grills area available for every 2 resort towers (provide you own charcoal)
Basketball and tennis court - equipment is available for check out
Ample parking for guest

A free shuttle is available to Sea World (its across the street). Shuttles are available from a private company for shuttles to other theme parks for $8. The private shuttles have designated pick up times.

Stores -Walmart super store, CVS, Costo, CVS, and Grocery stores.
Theme parks - 8-12 miles from the club resort

Great vacation destination hotel. We were here for a 3 night marketing thing so the price was right! Got upgraded to a 3 bedroom suite which was fantastic. Had a full kitchen, 2 balconies, 3 bathrooms, 2nd frig and prep area, w/d and overall just lovely. Staying here gets you access to a free SeaWorld fast pass and you can walk to the  park from the property.

I would definitely stay here again and would like to explore the many recreation options available to guests.

This is now my go-to hotel in Orlando after staying here twice in two years and other Orlando hotels as well many times.
The Good: Clean, quiet, they let me shut off a/c fan completely, quality soap and shampoo, great bed & linens, mahimahi, shrimp, salmon, Strong Starbucks coffee in deli, staff seemed to really care about customers, location, fair rates.
The Bad: Doors slam - they should put closers/bumpers on them, desserts not that good, calamari was edible, wifi could be faster, music too loud at main pool - so you walk a bit to their other pool which is quiet.

Just finished a 5 night stay here for a family of 4 (kids 8 and 10). We came in from Massachusetts and didn't know Orlando at all---with thousands of hotels this was a bit of a leap of faith---but we absolutely loved it!  Service was excellent and very professional---we thought there'd be no way they'd let us check in at 10am, but they did!  Room was clean and premium for the price---granite in the kitchenette and nice appointments throughout.  Very easy commute to Disney and you can literally walk to Sea World. Excellent housekeeping each day, even with the suite option.  Kids loved the many pools and hot tubs and waterfalls that pour into them.  Tons of free activities as well.  We will stay here again.

Got a great price and it's a beautiful place. Lots to do on the property. Clean rooms. Safe location with a gated entry which is a huge plus. Would come back if back in the area. The only complaint is I'm not a huge fan of the outdoor corridors, I know to get on the actual property you need a room key but still, you never know. Also the connecting room I had...not sure if all rooms are like this but I'm sure if the person next to me wanted they could barge in anytime. Anyway, still a nice place, right off of I-drive and everything else was close. Probably would come back.

At one point or another, almost my whole family has stayed here when they come to visit me, so I am quite the trusted Yelper!  First of all, it is within walking distance to Sea World, and when I say walking distance, I truly mean it is a stones throw away.  Secondly, the activities are a blast.  A pool is fun and all, but only for a few days or so.  Here, they have outdoor pool, plenty of chairs and little nooks to hide away from the kiddies.  Large chess pieces, pool games, hair wrapping, and a bar!  Let alone the turtles you can go on the deck to see swim around.  The place itself is a nice resort and you feel somewhat safe, but they could use a little more lighting, in my paranoid mind that notices these things.  It would be nice to have the pool or a hot tub open later than 11 is one of my only critiques.   Do not have a false sense of security when you see the gates.  This, for some un godly known reason, is a pet peeve of mine.  They practically let anyone through those gates as long as they have a smile, wave, and act like they are somebody staying there.  If you are not a logical adult, and trust me they are out there, do not let your kids run around this place, crime happens everywhere and especially where you least expect it.  Okay, that is it for my parenting tip (from the 22 year old) today.  The shopping and restaurant, let alone the attractions are extremely close, but far enough away that the whole resort is quiet and relaxing.
We did wake up to people playing basketball, so in order to avoid that ask to be in a different building than the one nearby the courts!  We also woke up to a child that decided to burn something to wake her family up so as they were ready for Disney nice and early.  Yeah, I could have killed that child but I kept my sanity!  I cant blame her for being excited =]
Expect traffic.  I wish I could just post that on everything for all of Orlando, but expect traffic and long lines, no matter where you go!  Leave early, pack lunches, have a game plan, and a meeting place, those are all of my best tips of the day!
Back to the resort to finish it up, I truely enjoy this place and would highly reccomend it like I do for all of my fellow Hilton Vacation Points or whatever it is holders!

For a Hilton I was very disappointed.  Being a Hilton Member and booking months ahead of time I did not get the room I requested and they wouldn't even work with me.  I got a room in the back of the complex facing woods with no balcony.  I was hounded several times for a time share and told them repeatedly I wasn't interested.  I am on vacation and want to relax and this was apparently not the place for that.

We had some vacation points to use up, and we used it here to for our 8 night/9 day vacation in Orlando.

This is a huge property, with 3 swimming pools, 2 kiddie pools, Jacuzzis distributed throughout he property, tennis courts, a playground for kids, a fitness center, and other nice amenities. With these amenities, and the proximity to theme parks, it's definitely a family-oriented, family-friendly hotel. The property is so big, they have valets in golf carts to shuttle you to different places within the property.

We were warmly greet at check in. Although our unit was not available, due to our early arrival, we were free to use the pools, which the kids loved. In the lobby, they have lemonade and fruit for their guests. There also concierge desk staffed by 2 persons from Expedia to help guests arrange for tickets, transportation, or dinner reservations for the vacation club guests.

We liked the location of this hotel. It's 20 minutes from the airport, across the street from Seaworld, 10 minutes away by car to Walt Disney World, and less than 5 minutes away to any of the outlet malls (oh, joy!). There are drugstores and supermarkets nearby, which we frequented to buy water, soda, beer, food, and snacks to bring back to our hotel room.

We reserved a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit, which was actually a 2 bedroom unit with the connecting door opened to the third bed room. It was roomy enough for both of our families. The master bedroom suite had its own bathroom and in room jacuzzi (the kids loved it).

Living Room: static2.px.yelp.com/phot…
Kitchen: static4.px.yelp.com/phot…
Third Bedroom: static2.px.yelp.com/phot…
Second Bedroom: static4.px.yelp.com/phot…
Master Suite Jacuzzi: static2.px.yelp.com/phot…

The rooms are a bit dated, but still nonetheless comfortable with a nice homey feel (besides, we weren't planning to stay in our room the whole time we were there). We took advantage of the full kitchen to cook breakfasts in the morning so we didn't have to wake up early and head out for breakfast before we headed to WDW.

Most of all, the staff at this hotel were really friendly and the service was great. Because we used our timeshare points from another property to stay here, our originally reservations required us to move 3 times during our stay, due to availability of rooms. Raymond, the manager of this property noticed we had separate reservations during our stay, and called us to inquire why, then he told us he'll see if he can free up rooms from their marketing group so we didn't have to move. Thanks to Raymond, he arranged our reservations so we didn't have to move.

Overall, it was a nice, pleasant stay.

I found a $99 a night deal on Hotels.com (by the way, if you go through another company, you cannot use your Hilton rewards card). I reserved a week at this hotel expecting a typical 20 story hotel with a pool on the bottom. This hotel is built like a fancy apartment complex. There is a gate at the entrance where you get waved through by a hotel worker after they check to make sure your name is on the reservation. The gave us the option of a top or bottom floor... we chose a top floor. We stayed at the Paget building (I think all the buildings are named after English names). It was a pretty far walk, but like I said... this complex is built like an apartment community. Since it's a long walk to some areas, they have people in golf carts driving around to give a lift.

We booked a queen bed studio room. Everything looked very clean. We had a sofa bed, flat screen TV, microwave, small fridge, kitchen sink, and even a few kitchen items (forks, spoons, plates, coffee mugs, wine glasses, paper towels, sponge, dish soap). The walls are a little thin, but we rarely heard our neighbor. They deliver USA today every morning.

They do not have continental breakfast, but the club house does have an outdoor sit-down restaurant with a bar. The restaurant is located right next to the pool. If you want A/C, find another restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed a quick dip in the pool while waiting for our food to come out. It gets really hot and humid during August so we enjoyed the pool. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta (about $13) and was not very happy with my dish. I think they just microwaved it since it came out in less than 10 minutes. The pasta sauce was nothing to rave about and my chicken was dry, although the seasoning was good. My husband enjoyed his hamburger, though. The drinks were delicious. To give you an idea, my husband's jack and coke was $11.50 and my mango daiquiri was $8. Every now and then they'll have a server walking around the pool taking drink and food orders. The bruschetta ($10) was pretty good and my fish taco ($12) was a little lacking in flavor and the fish was dry.

They also have a small deli/ice cream shop/pizza shop/grocery store adjacent to the main lobby. They serve a few Starbucks items there and sell items like a loaf of bread, sandwich meats/cheese, PB&J, yogurt, alcohol, snacks, bathing suits, souvenir items, and swimming pool floats for the kids.

They have a calendar with a list of activities everyday, a movie listed for every night, and a big pool area. They have 2 big pools with a max of 5 feet in the main area (one has a waterfall), 2 spas in that same area (one has a waterfall), a big checkers board, shuffleboard, ping pong table, pool table, and a playground in that main area. They also have a regular sized pool scattered throughout the complex (I think I saw 2 on the map). Everything closes at 11pm.

Customer service was nice. I never needed to call them for housekeeping or maintenance issues, but everyone always greeted us and offered us a ride from our room to the club house. Must've been packed at the Paget house... parking was not great. By 10pm, all the close spots were taken. This hotel has a shuttle available to Disney parks, Sea World, Universal Studios. Check with concierge... they might charge a small fee for shuttle. Parking at these parks is $15 so it might be worth it.

I'm glad they had a clubhouse where my husband and I could hang out and we just wanted to relax for the rest of the day or night. The weather in August was so hot and humid all day and night that there would be people out in the pool till closing time. The pool water was so nice and warm.

We went to a convention in Orlando and since the host hotel was full we stayed at this hotel. My only disappointment is it does not have a shuttle from the airport (it is about 30 minutes away so I won't weigh it too much against them). As soon as I walked into the hotel though everything went great. I did not have to wait to check in and I got upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom. The hotel is huge and consists of 10 buildings. There are people driving around in golf carts from place to place and you usually don't have to wait more than a minute or so for them to pick you up. The room was spotless and had all the kitchen utensils a basic cook could need. It had a patio and a jacuzzi, good storage space, and washer drier.. I ordered room service a couple of times and was happily surprised. The mahi wrap is delicious and the steak salad and shrimp linguini are good. They have pools, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, mini market, gym, walking trail.. I only wish i had not been there for business. Overall a great experience and definitely a place I would recommend and one I would visit again.

Complex: great. Pool: perfect. Room: meh.

Had a studio for a long weekend- it did the job. Cute little studio with a kitchenette and a view of the pool. But the decor and amenities were a bit dated.  The pool, on the other hand, is excellent. With 2 pools, several hot tubs and a waterfall, time flies when you're soaking up the sun here.

Nice, carribean-themed resort- it's great for adults. If you're looking for a more kid-friendly resort, I'd suggest Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations.

I love this hotel I stay here once a year.
The staff is always helpful and nice. The resturaunt is ok I have eaten in better but it is ok if you are looking to stay in and eat. If you are staying at this hotel you need a rental car...not close to any resturaunts and sometimes you can get placed in a building away from the main office. There is no room service or movies to order; since this is a time share property. But, the plus for me since I stay  so long is that in the suites they have a washer and dryer! The hotel is great if you have kids; they have an activity center, movie theater and very large pool area.

Greetings,

My girlfriend and I stayed here April 26-April 29. We stayed in the St. George's House in room 3210. Upon arrival I had asked for a room upgrade in which they were going to give us a newer renovated room with a king bed but it was located farther from the main pool and we just wanted to check-in and get in the pool.

Room: The room was a studio. It was clean, we had a queen bed, flat screen TV, safe, cabinets, sink, cutlery, fridge, microwave soap/sponge, couch (not sure if it was pull out). The water pressure in shower was good. Screened in porch with table and chairs. Over all the room served its purpose, I wasn't blown away but we weren't in the room much.

Grounds: The actual grounds of the hotel are well kept. Everything is clean. There is a gazebo that goes into a lake were you can see turtles, fish, little lizards and even an alligator/crocodile. Flowers all over the property. Over all extremely clean and pretty.

Pool: Open 7-11. I saw four hot tubs which were very nice. Two huge pools, one with a fountain and one with a waterfall/grotto. Always pool chairs and towels. At some points they played games and had a DJ. Wait staff comes around by pool to take orders. They allow you to walk around with drinks and you can bring snacks/drinks into pool area. Very relaxing and easy going.

Food: There are two restaurants/deli on property: Coral Reef Bar and Grill and Provisions Market & Fresh Deli. We ate at the Coral Reef Bar which is pool side. They have a full bar and prices range $7 and up but most food is from $10-$15 for a wrap or burger. I had the burger and the wrap both with potato salad and it was good. The Bar had good drinks Non-Alcohol pina coladas are like $5, with alcohol $8.50ish. They have a happy hour 4-7 with $4 margaritas. Overall the food was good but I didn't want to spend $10 a pop so we went to 7/11 a lot to buy drinks/beer/food and snacks for at the pool or in our room.

Activities: Even though this was a family resort and my gf and I are in our mid to late 20's with no kids it was a great place. The had a cover pool table/ping pong table, cover playground for kids, corn-hole and a huge chess set. They also have kids activity center. They offer face painting, tie-dye $15 and temp tattoos. $4 ice cream with toppings at a certain time. They have free WiFi and computers. Offer free movies at night by the pool on a huge projection screen.

Staff: The staff at this place are super friendly and they work hard. We met one of the security guards who always said HI and joked with us. The front desk/bell boys were extremely nice. Overall great staff!!!!

Transportation/Location: This is my biggest complaint and maybe the only reason I wouldn't stay here again. There is no free or cheap shuttle from airport (20 Miles). Unless you want to walk a mile or so, there is really no nightlife or restaurants in the immediate area except 7/11 and an expensive one called Bone Fish or something. There is an I-trolly that runs right outside the hotel but it only runs until 10pm. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal (we didn't use it) but it only ran once there and once back from my understanding. The hotel use a service that costs $9 per person daily (must book hour before) that takes you to Epcot and from there you can take free shuttles to Disney Parks. The drivers SUCK, no personality, on there phones and your in a small van. There is only three times:8:15, 9:00 10:00, returns:6:25, 8:25 and 10:00. If those times don't work your on your own. For sea world great location.

Recommendations: I think there should be a shuttle to and from the airport. Either free or reasonable price. I would go with a different company other than Orlando All Trans, INC with more times/friendlier drivers who don't talk on their cell phones and who interact with you . I would also try and have a shuttle that runs from Downtown Disney, City Walk or a location along international drive where people that want to enjoy the night life or grab a bite can. Since the bars/clubs close at 2:00 maybe have a service that picks up at 12, 1, or 2.

Cons: Slow elevator. Transportation.

Thank you all for reading! Hope this helps.

Scott

We are a young couple with kids and go to Orlando a lot. This is one of the best places we have stayed. We got a one king bedroom suite with living area, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and in room washer/dryer, two flat panel TVs, balcony with golf course view. Best part was that it was only $109 per night on a special. Why would we ever stay in a tiny hotel room again. The pool and amenities here are amazing. So many activities and areas to have fun. Full gym, hot tubs, evening movies by the pool, corn hole, ping pong, shuffle board, shaded playground, etc. Walking distance to Sea World and Bone Fish grill. Staff was very friendly and even greeted us with popcorn and a drink. Very easy to get to Disney without the hustle and bustle or Disney hotel cost. I highly recommend this place. Only con: elevator was painfully slow in our building. They do it right here...felt like a tropical paradise in the middle of Orlando.

This place is pretty amazing! The rooms are nice, bed and pillows are comfortable. Everything was always clean! The staff is awesome! There are a lot of activities, close to CVS, restaurants, theme parks, etc. Sometimes they have great offers, and you don't even have to have/use your Hilton card to get these great offers! Would definitely book my nights here next time I stay in Orlando!

We had stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites on International Drive before and decided to try this property since the price was right.  We got a studio suite and they located at us in the building next to the lobby on the 5th floor.  The room was nice and clean and we had a view of the pool. The room included a microwave, dishes, a bar sink, and a refrigerator.  Besides the king bed, it also had a table with two chairs and a small loveseat.  We went down to the bar/restaurant a couple of times.  The food we had was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel.  My hubby had the bleu burger and I had the salmon burger.  They both come with fries.  We liked the food so that we ate there a couple of times.  It also rained one day and we rented a couple of movies for $3/each for a one day rental (had to be returned the next day before noon).  The resort provides children activities and social activities at the pool, weather permitting.  They had ice cream sundaes or ice cream floats for sale, free beer sampling, with games and activities for the kids.  I think they do a quick check to see if there are any kids in pool area, and if they are, they do the activities.  If not, they just do the adult themed ones.  Because this is a timeshare property, they will push for you to go to the presentation but they only pursued that when we checked in and the next day.  The resort also has a small movie theater and showcase one or two movies a day.  We did not do this but there were a number of families that would take advantage of the free movie.  At the bigger pool area, there are two pools with three hot tubs in that area.  The one with the waterfall is a cooler swimming pool.  The one with the fountain is warmer.  The hot tub between the two swimming pools is the warmer of the three.  We were there in the beginning part of September which meant it was hot and humid which was good pool weather.  However, every day it either stormed or threatened to storm so the pools were closed until the storms passes and they shut the pool area at 11:00 PM.  Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are going to the parks or just hanging out at the hotel like we did.

This hotel is very reasonably priced for a resort. You can get a room with a whirlpool tub (big enough for 2). I would ask for a room in the renovated section and a room facing sea world. If you get lucky you can get a room facing the sea world fireworks which is really cool to watch at night.

Why only 4 stars? There is no where on the property to get dinner (unless you want pizza). Thankfully there are tons of restaurants and a publix close by.

Glorified hotel room.  Microwave, mini-fridge, wet bar--few dishes and dinnerware, toaster and coffeemaker.  Lock off studio with some noise coming through the adjoining door.  Not enough time to enjoy the outdoor amenities.  Surprisingly had maid service each day, but we weren't told that and had left our "Do Not Disturb" sign on.  When we took it off they cleaned, changed the towels, even took out the recyclables (I hope) but not the trash.  AC would not go below 71 and we are used to sleeping cold, and they finally fixed it the day before we left.  TV and DVD player provided and fine.  Not a bad place but bathroom is incredibly small--I thought I was in NYC!  No counter space at all....Annoying telephone messages each day about next day activities, usually involving the kiddies.  Sure that is great for families staying a week in the rain who can't go to the parks....

We are on our Florida 2-week vacation right now,and this Hilton made us a Hilton-believer!!! We went to several Hiltons, including a Hilton Hawaiian Village on our honeymoon...and this place is beyond our expectation!!!

We went to 4 different hotels during this trip, this being our last, and longest stay. EVERYONE here is super super sweet and helpful. The front desk Catalina (hope i got her name right) was a darling, explaining everything so well. She accommodated our request to move our room to a balcony room right away...and made sure we were able to use the internet, buy or order food, and enjoy the pools.

We called to ask for toothpaste and bodywash and the housekeeping staff brought us bags of each!!!!! And they were absolutely sweet as well!!!

Laundry (which was so needed after already traveling for a week) is free, as well as the detergent. Laundry baskets are provided in each room which was super convenient...and the foods are yummy!!! So far we have ordered 3 times..and have succeeded each time.

The agent at the activity center is super super super nice...and made us want to come back to this family-friendly hotel again ( and we don't even have kids!!-_-).

I have never given a five-star review for a hotel ever...(and we travel 12-15times a year at least). But Hilton Grand Vacation Club, you deserve it!!!!!

Pool area is nice.  The front desk management and facilities groups are horrendous.  They have no idea what "customer service" is and the facilities are in such a state of disrepair that they can't even keep the elevators working.  Additionally, grounds staff constantly have to sweep water off the slippery walkways but do not look below when they're sweeping on higher floors - which leads to nasty water falling on people.  Of course, when this happens, Hilton doesn't even bother to appropriately compensate you for the mess.

I've stayed here before and had good experiences but after what happened with this stay, I will never stay here again.

The room is exactly what was described. The grounds were perfect for children..great clean playground that was completely covered with plush fake grass and several pools throughout property. The food at the grill was surprisingly yummy and good service. They had a marketplace which did everything that you can forget when you pack plus Starbucks and ice cream. I didn't give more stars because it was a bit annoying have a sales person annoy you to buy time share.

Had a mostly lovely stay there in April.  Overall, I rate it 3.5 stars - here are my pros and cons, in order of importance
Pro # 1 - SPACIOUS, LUXURIOUS ROOMS.  Our 1-BR suite had a private balcony overlooking the pond and a ginormous jetted tub.  The full kitchen was convenient and well appointed enough.  Furnishings/decor were well above average.
Pro # 2 - GRAND FAMILY-FRIENDLY POOL AREA.  There is a pool with a waterfall which made it very cold, only small children played in it.  An adjacent pool had a nice fountain in the middle and was heated enough to be comfortable when it was cool and drizzly.  There are 2 hot tubs - a small hot one w a waterfall and a larger one that is slightly warmer than the heated pool, so it is child-friendly.  My 8 year-old loves hot tubs but is often disappointed to find they are only for children 12 and over. The best (and maybe worst) thing is that there are no rules, and no lifeguards.  Your child can jump off the fountain if they choose, play on a huge float, or eat a hamburger while they sit in the pool.  Nice idea in theory as long as people are respectful, until you see guys drinking from glass bottles in the hot tub and see a kid get sick in the pool, and no one notices or reacts.  Yikes.  I personally accept the trade-off but it's worth noting.  They have a small wading pool for little ones and a separate pool that we never even saw.  There's also a bar/cafe on deck and a sandwich shop upstairs, with a nice covered playground and shuffleboard nearby.  They also had entertainment by the pool starting at noon...good acoustic cover singers, karaoke, game shows, etc.  There were many other classes and craft activities that we didn't have time to take advantage of.
Pro #3 - FREE SHUTTLES save money and made it easy to hop over to Sea World just for a couple of hours in between storms.  We figured it is less than a 0.5 mile walk, which we made 3 times without too much effort.  We only used the Sea Word shuttle and not the others (Aquatica, Universal, Islands of Adventure) so if you use them all, that's a much better value.

Con #1 - WIFI - was just unacceptable for such a high-end resort.  We couldn't access emails/websites more than 1x/2x a day.  Consider this online and streaming app rehab, because you/your kids won't be able to access your Candy Clash of Castles until you leave, unless you have a good hot spot.  It may be the worst WiFi experience I've ever had, and I travel a lot.  The resort didn't even seem to be full...
Con #2 - NOISE - While there is good sound insulation bt the rooms above/below, you may as well introduce yourself to your adjoining room neighbor, bc you are on vacation together now.  We were blessed w a quiet neighbor who was rarely in his room, but we could hear him shower, use the blow dryer, and sneeze louder than we could hear each other in our suite.  The weather stripping under our adjoining door was damaged, but piling towels against the door didn't help.  Bring many white noise devices.  I wrote the hotel manager about this and was advised to book a standalone room next time (I didn't know there was such a thing).
Con #3 - UNCLEAR COSTS/UPSELL ATTEMPTS - They will hook you up with discounted Sea World tickets, but will try to sell you on tx to other things too, and will take forever in the process (15+ min just for SW tx and we almost missed the shuttle).  They woke us all at 8:00 am our first morning to invite us to a timeshare pitch.  Thankfully they didn't call back after I said no once, as other reviewers experienced.  They have $5 happy hour frozen drinks but I was consistently charged $6 or $8, even for a basic margarita or pina colada.  Also there were no prices on most things in their sandwich/gift shop....shady.

Overall a good value that makes you feel like you're treating yourself and your kids!  I will likely return and give them half a star back if they fix the WiFi!

Overall: Awesome rooms and great service during my stay here.
I think as a student trying to get homework done during a vacation I am in the minority, but my only disappointment is the spotty wifi. Could I have gone to the computers readily available to guests at the office? Of course. But 1:30 am while the rest of my family is asleep after a day of fun is the only time I can get anything productive done on this trip. I don't feel comfortable walking down there this late even if it is open. Wifi suddenly crashing in the middle of an online exam made me very grumpy, but of course I didn't come on vacation to enjoy excellent internet access.

I knew I was in trouble when I stepped out my car and was greeted aggressively by an eager charlatan who delivered me to the lobby. I have stayed at this resort 4 times prior and never experienced the following before. Once inside the lobby  I was walked to the check in desk. My name and cell number was taken as my room wasn't ready. Then my "guide" ushered me to a woman selling theme park tickets to get my resort "parking pass". Why don't you get this at check in?  The next stop with my guide was to another salesperson to get my "free gift". My gift was 250 Hilton honors points or about $2.00. Lol. So this guy wants me to go to a presentation on the timeshare in exchange for $100 Visa card. $100? That barely buys breakfast for my family of 6. I told him I'd give him $100 if he would stop talking and let me go. When I return to the resort after being called my room was ready, my wife sat in the car with my 4 children. The same resort that was ready to sell me tickets and timeshare and who gladly accepted my credit card for expenses would not complete my reservation without my wife's ID. Just another hassle. It was never like this. The resort is really nice, it's a shame they're ruining it with the check-in shell game they're playing.

Good choice for families, especially those who are looking for convenience.  Our suite of three bedrooms had an in-room washers/dryer and a well-equipped kitchen.  Not the height of luxury, but clean and perfectly adequate as a base for exploring Orlando.

Good variety of pools, with a very shallow paddling pool for young children.  Pool scene can be a bit noisy, with live music and lots of people, but there's a positive, friendly buzz there.

Only real downsides: It can be a long walk to the pool, and it's mostly across parking lots, so it's not scenic, and there are many places you need to watch out for cars if traveling with young children.  For some reason, it was difficult to get the rooms serviced, even though we paid for this option.  Also, the internet did not work in our building for two days of our stay, which was quite a hassle, because it meant we had to go to the main building to get online, which was difficult with the children to look after.

Still, a pleasant place to be, and we would definitely return.

Stayed in studio room for 4 nights.  The room was okay but no laundry machines as it was advertised on the website which is okay but still
The tv was not so easy to operate and same goes with the coffee machine
Staff was friendly but it would have been helpful if they all spoke English
I was very upset how half day was wasted at a meeting where they try to sell you a share. And the sales people are rude and pushy. I mean I am on vacation. I can't just decide within 90 minutes to purchase a share
When I told the sales person no she got rude and closer her notes and walked away having another person come to the desk trying to sell us a vacation. I was shocked.  You can't push people and take away half of the day from my vacation
FOOD was a huge disappointment. For a person who doesn't eat unhealthy foods this was the worst place. The restaurant at the hotel had no healthy choices.  Everything was junk food the only good thing was the fresh squeezed orange juice.  I was very upset with the options and had to eat outside the hotel everyday
Hilton is a big brand and I thought I would have better and healthier choices
Will never return here again and will never recommend this place to any one
You have disappointed me Hilton grand vacations. I should have gone with another place   You need to bring more healthy choices to your menu not everyone eats junk and wants to look heavy and unhealthy like most of the people I saw there

I love love love this place!  Everything about it is perfect!  The rooms are spacious (understatement), clean, comfortable - the staff is amazing!   If they see you walking to or from the pool or lobby they'll stop on their golf carts or "party bus" and offer a ride.   And they patrol the area non stop.   So many activities for the children and adults.   You really don't need to even bother with the theme parks!  But if you do- they're all very close.   One last thing - that blue burger though!  Ugh - so yummy!  Thanks for your hard work  and dedication to customer service Hilton!  We'll see you next year!

**4.5 star review**

We stayed in a very large one bedroom suite.

The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed equipped with large tv and closet.  Adjacent to our bed was a whirlpool tub and bathroom with two sinks and a shower.  The suite had a full kitchen including a dishwasher and fridge, dining room, sofa sleeper, another tv,  fully enclosed balcony and washer and dryer.

The property itself is beautiful and contains multiple pools and a restaurant.  The staff were very friendly and always asked if we needed anything.

Some of the things that matter most at a hotel for me:

CLEAN - this place was pretty clean.  The towels and bedding were clean and soft and didn't smell bad. YEAH!!!

NOISE - I think we were the only ones staying in the Smith house, because not only did I not hear anyone, I rarely ever saw anyone.  This hotel wins my award for quietest place I have ever stayed at.  I loved the fact that the heating/cooling system was practically silent!!!!

FRIENDLY - Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the concierge who helped us daily!  Although this location is within walking distance of Seaworld they offer a complimentary shuttle to Seaworld and Universal.  I also really liked the complementary quick que passes for Seaworld (these are limited).

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at.  You should stay here too!!!

Enjoyed The Hilton Grand Vacations!
I recommend staying here! Especially, for a Disney Vacation.

Okay So Now For The Details:

My Family of three couldn't have asked for anything more. The suite included a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and the patio helped!

The Room:
It was very spacious.
Very Clean
Stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc
The dinning table proved useful for a few stay at hotel vacation meals.
Free Wifi- although a little slow
In room washer and dryer was a blessing

The Hotel Pool was very nice and enjoyable.

The Hotel restaurant was good and not pricey! A big plus!

Overall a very enjoyable stay!

I stayed here in 2009, and I am still getting calls to this day from Hilton Grand Vacations.  Every time, I ask to be put on the do not call list, and it stops, but only for a little while.  Tonight the person wouldn't even take that for an answer, insisting that I had to give him 60 seconds for his spiel and only then he would add me.  I had to hang up after requesting several times to be added to the do not call list.

I only stayed there because it was a Hilton near where I was working in Orlando, booked through our corporate travel system... I didn't even know it was a timeshare.

There's lots of ways on their website to contact them about spending $9,000-$278,000 on a timeshare, but no way I can see to tell them to leave you the hell alone.

I stayed here as part of a party of 4 in a 2 bedroom suite. At first look, I was impressed.  Full kitchen, dining area, living area, two separate bedroom suites (each with a bathroom), and a screened-in porch off of each bedroom!  Very promising, very pleasing to the eye.

That's where the fun ends.  The list of "cons" is long:
1- the A/C seemed to lack a dehumidifier; EVERYTHING was damp
2- the water smelled funny.  I don't know how to describe it.
3- we called the front desk to tell them that either the A/C or the washer/dryer was leaking water all over the floor, and they seemed confused as to what we expected them to do about it.
4- the only breakfast you'll get is one you'll pay too much for in the hotel restaurant
5- the washer/dryer in the room must be for show, because that contraption certainly doesn't clean anything you put in it.
6- not enough seating in the living area
7- the hotel consists of several outbuildings so it's a bit of a hike to the main building

It was a clean, spacious place to sleep, and the housekeeping staff was nice.  I wouldn't stay again, though.

The choices for staying in the Orlando area are endless. Having never been to the area before I was blown away by all the options when I started planning my trip. We were going down there to spend a couple of days to see Disneyworld, which was our focus.

For two nights in June we got a unit for $80 a night here at this gorgeous property. Parking is free and for whatever reason it is not considered a resort, so you don't have any additional resort fees, either.

Our place had a king size bed and a double pull out sofa bed. We also had a kitchen area with stocked cabinets with plates, glasses, can opener, etc and even a toaster.

Each building has free laundry rooms, although if you don't have your own detergent, it's x4 quarters for some Tide from a dispenser. They even give you a laundry basket in your room's closet.

There are several pools and hot tubs on the property, tennis courts and a very nice basketball court. The basketball court has a 10 foot hoop and one that is about 8 feet, both glass backboards. We had fun fooling around with them!

The business center is all free, too. I had to print out some baseball tickets and there were 4/5 computers with a printer ready to go.

Back to the reason we were staying here: DisneyWorld. It's about 10 minutes away in your car, well the ticket transportation place anyway. There was light traffic on a weekday at 8AM when we were heading over there and we made it in plenty of time for the opening.

We had a great time at this place, kinda didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend staying here while visiting any of the attractions. It's literally across the street from Sea World.

Don't come her unless you have kids and want to deal with other kids late into the night. Forget about 11pm hot tub outings as creepy parents and their kids will still be around. The staff is very nice but will also try and sell you a time share. I won't be coming back here but it is clean and would fit many people's needs.

My family go to property on I-drive. I had to seriously consider if I wanted to write this review and let my secret out of the bag.

Whenever I need space, whenever I'm not alone, and whenever I'm not going to the Mouse, this is always the property I check first.  They offer a great value on the rooms, with a lot of space, best tub in any room I've ever stayed in and the pull out couches are actually comfortable. Full kitchen and laundry with a enclosed porch, plenty of kids activities, movie nights in the main pool area, plus local pools right near your building, you really have to wonder if you want to go off property at all.

We thought this was a great place to stay for family vacation.

We came for a time share offer, of course he said no. We liked the hotel room, it was comfortable and nice. We did not stay near the pool and were happy with our decision.

The service is nice and friendly. The food was 'ok' nothing to write home about. There is another smaller pool on the property which we liked for night time swimming. The main pool can be loud with activity directors, children and music but if your a family with young children this is the place to be.

We wouldn't go back but it wasnt not a bad stay at all.

Very nice!

I love Hilton Grand Vacations, will definitely choose it over any resort. The location is very convenient, short drives to everything!

One of our last vacations before the twins arrive and we had a fabulous time. Stunning hotel and wonderful customer service.  Pools, jacuzzis, ping pong and pool tables, basketball and tennis courts, walkway around the lake, cafe and restaurant. Kids also get to have fun in their activity center, playground, movies, ice cream socials, kids pool, splash area, and some. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, complete with a full kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, cups/plates/utensils, kitchen tools and wine glasses), washer/dryer, shower, hot tub with jets, balcony and pull out couch in the living area. More than enough room for our family of 3 but still comfortable for a larger group. The only issue we had on our first night was the parking. Must have been a busy for them because we couldn't find parking close to our building. Other than that I can't think of anything else. Way to go Hilton!

A destination in itself!  My husband, my four year old and I stayed here while visiting Universal and I absolutely loved it!  I LOVED the landscaping!  The pools were beautiful and my 4 year old loved the playground poolside.  They were about to show Big Hero 6 at dusk (which we didn't stay for).  Loved having breakfast beside the waterfall pool!  Loved that I could get Starbucks on site.  The room was nice with a cute kitchenette!  I would come back in a heartbeat!  We walked to breakfast from our building and it was so peaceful that even my 4 year old commented, "Mommy, this is really nice."  He cried when we had to leave and asked if we could come back.  Definitely coming back to this.

I've stayed at several Hilton Grand Vacations now and have always had a great time! The SeaWorld location is walking distance to SeaWorld and about 10 minutes away from DisneyWorld, Universal and several outlets and malls. It's also only about 15-20 minutes away from the airport.

We stayed in a newly renovated two bedroom suite and indeed, everything inside, including the furniture, looked pretty new. I also liked how the patios and balconies are screened off because I hate hate hate mosquitos (fortunately there were none in February!). The two bedroom suite was actually a one bedroom suite PLUS a studio, so even the smaller room had its own mini fridge and microwave. The only tiny nits I have about the room are that the shower doesn't have a door, so despite my best efforts water got on the bathroom floor and while doing laundry a shirt got partially sucked down the washer drain and we had to wait for an "engineer" to come help us which took forever. I didn't have much of a chance to check out the rest of the property, but I did go to the pool one day and one of them was heated. There's also a convenience store with a Starbucks and reasonably priced restaurant on site. Parking was a little bit of a pain because you had to park waaaay in the back if you came back late in the evening.

Overall, I would recommend HGV SeaWorld for its convenient location, beautiful property and amenities. I might prefer the International Drive location just a tiny bit more because it's walking distance to outlets and I'm more of a shopper than a SeaWorld visitor anyway.

We stayed here when my hubby had a conference in Orlando. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations we've ever had. The pools kept my kids entertained for hours. We took a break and went to the outdoor cafe for some poolside lunch--not a bad way to spend a day.

They brought out a giant screen by the pool for movies by moonlight one night that we were there.

It was nice to be able to make some of our own food or have cereal in our suite. Eating out for several days in a row is expensive and fattening so that was a welcome feature.

The washer and dryer assured that we went home with suitcases full of clean clothes which was nice for the main laundry lady (me).

I would definitely stay there again. The price was right and so was the location. We somehow escaped without the timeshare sales pitch which would not have been of interest to us anyway.

Okay, I will admit it. We stayed at this place because we got a one of those timeshare deals.  We got a super fantastic price for a three night stay, but we had to listen to a time share pitch.  The pitch was not too painful as we were pretty up front when we bought the deal and when we sat down with our salesperson that we were really not interested.  It was a fair enough price to pay (in addition to about $169), for a three night stay at the Hilton Grand Suites and a $200 Hilton voucher.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which included a full kitchen and washer/dryer.  We did not cook, but it was great to have the washer/dryer. Had I known it would be there I could have taken about a quarter of the clothes I packed!  The living room had a pull out couch. I just wish it had enough room for a roll away.  There was a huge jacuzzi tub in the middle of the bedroom. The boys enjoyed taking jacuzzi bubble baths.

The grounds are pretty.  The huge pool is the center of the recreation area. There are no slides or water park type of attractions. However, there are different kids activities scheduled throughout the day.

There are free shuttles to Sea World but not to Disney Parks or Universal.  I am not sure about Universal, but for Disney you have to pay for the shuttle and reserve a specific time coming and going.....very inconvenient!  I really think that at a resort of this caliber, there should be free shuttles to Disney and Universal.

Another issue at this hotel was parking.  When this hotel was built, they did not an for enough parking. We certainly could never get a spot near our room. Every night we had to ride around looking for a spot.

So this hotel served our needs with a nice resort and spacious room. Would we be willing though, to pay the regular rate of $200-$250 or more per night?  I don't think so. Usually when we go to Orlando we are so busy at the parks that we are never in our room anyway. There are really much more reasonable places to stay in Orlando (and some of them are suites!).  I think if we were to splurge on a resort some time, it would be a Disney or Universal resort do we could take advantage of all the perks.
