We like to grill up when were staying here and chill at the pool. Suites with full kitchens are good too.

I have been at this facility for over 24 days now and have been very impressed by the customer service that I have received. The individuals at the front desk are so polite and helpful (especially George, Kenneth, and Rosario). The housekeeping supervisor consistently asked how everything was and the managers always asked how they could make my stay any better. I highly recommend this place.

If you have stayed at any Residence Inn (and I have been to a LOT of them), they generally have the same layout and amenities.  This one conformed to standards and met expectations.

We had a two BR loft (close to 1200 square feet) (two adults, three kids - space for everyone!) with a full kitchen, a full fridge, dishwasher, and stove/ microwave.  We made a few dinners here on our trip.

Place is clean and comfortable. Everything works.  3 TVs kept kids happy.

Pool and Jacuzzi are great for kids.  two grills outside.  Excellent to get steaks and hamburgers at grocery  store and much cheaper than going out.

Breakfast, as usual for Residence Inn, is fantastic.  Waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, lots of fresh fruit and probably at least a dozen other things too.  You won't be disappointed.

They have happy hour on Mon, Tue, Wed.  So on Tue we had free Tacos, chips and salsa and beer.  Kids had drinks too.  Free.

Cheerful and fast check in.  Great deal.  If you just need a place to sleep this will not be a fit.  Cheaper options exist.  If you are travelling for multiple days with a family, I can't think of a better option.

It's close to the theme parks (with a rental car), very inexpensive, and provides decent enough amenities on the property for a traveler looking for the most bang for their buck - just don't expect too much from this budget priced hotel.  Free parking, internet, hot breakfast, and a quaint little pool all add up to a great value for any traveler who isn't too particular about the niceties or details.

    Pros
Free Parking, Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, and a cozy pool/bbq area
    Quick check-in and friendly staff
Proximity to theme parks and restaurants/shopping

    Cons
The room was a bit dingy (clean, but old and needed a refreshing)

I stayed 3 nights.  I booked a cheap hotel room because I assumed that I'd be at the theme parks all day and would be too tired to care about the room.  There are nicer budget hotels out there, but at the same time, there is nothing wrong with this hotel - I actually think it would be perfect for travelers with low funds (college students, large families, etc) who aren't expecting much or trying to do anything fancy.  If you're the cooking type, you can save some money by cooking your meals in the kitchen.

The pool is small and cozy - great when nobody is there but kind of awkward when there are too many guests there.  It's a great spot to cool off after a hot day at the theme parks.  The breakfast is usually packed with folks trying to load up before heading out to their respective theme parks so don't be surprised if you have to wait to use the waffle maker - it's not the best free breakfast but it's much better than eating at the theme parks or fast food.

Everyone's travel needs are different - I happen to be particular about the little things and actually want a very nice experience when I travel.  Without it being a negative comment, I wish that I would have paid a few more dollars and stayed at a nicer hotel.  I'm sure the room was clean, but the dinginess made me put a bed sheet over the couch and I wore flip flops the entire time - definitely in need of a little refreshing.

It's an average budget hotel but if you suffer from hotel germ paranoia or want a nice hotel experience, then you're probably better off paying more money for a better hotel.  It's nice for what it is and isn't a bad place to park your luggage during the day especially if you aren't picky.

In my opinion, Residence Inns are the best bang for your buck. Nearly every RI is identical in layout with an amazing breakfast in the morning. I found the Orlando location to be better than the rest due to their fabulous service. The staff are super friendly and they work in every way to accommodate your needs.

I often utilize the kitchen in the RIs to cook up dinners and supplemental dishes for breakfast. The first morning I cooked up some egg whites to eat with the full service RI breakfast (they offer waffles, sausage, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, juices, coffee, milk, etc.) and I left the pan soaking to clean up that evening. When I came back to my room in the evening, they had scrubbed all my dishes and ran the dishwasher for me. Needless to say, it is great to return back to your room at night with a full set of clean dishes. This is the type of service you receive at this RI and the reason I easily give them 5 stars.

The best place I have ever stayed. Never come across such a great staff!! I plan to write Marriott to let them know.

Oh Priceline, how I adore thee.

I always get some kick butt deals through them and end up wishing I had more time to spend in these places. OK so of course the price was great, I am sure its a whole different story if you book for an actual extended period but for us, for this trip it was perfect.

Check in was a dream, then the room was basically a studio apartment. Spacious with a living area, a desk/dining table and full kitchen.. yes FULL as in Fridge, OVEN AND STOVE, Microwave Oven, Sink with plates, pans, utensils, soap, and anything you need to just walk in with groceries and start cooking. Nice.

The room was spotless, super clean and really nicely taken care of. Also they offer a free, yes FREE hot breakfast. A nice one too, with boiled eggs (thank you for the clean protein), fruit, cooked oatmeal, seasoned potatoes, flapjacks, a waffle maker and tons more.

Get the other things they offer:

    Complimentary "Social" hour.
Grocery Shopping (leave a list at the Front Desk by 9am for same day delivery)
Dry Cleaning (drop off at FD by the time they specify for same day delivery)

Hey this is definitely where I want to try to stay next time we come. I don't need the pool, or the touristy things, I just need a good room and hopefully a good breakfast included!

Great service but the rooms are in need of updating.  I really enjoy the layout the grounds and the landscaping is relaxing and enjoyable.  The breakfast is decent.  The WiFi isnt so great.

Really not great decor but the front desk gave us good service.  It's on the older side and appeared to be a franchise vs a corporate property. Breakfast not bad but nothing to write home about.  Cereal and frozen waffles

    PROS:

    - Location = 5 stars.  Conveniently situated.  Just 10-15miles from MCO.  Very close to most theme parks  ---  Only 8 miles to Disney World, 2-3 miles to Seaworld and Aquatica, 1-2 miles to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure.  A lot of souvenirs shops, pharmacy, fastfood and sit-down restaurants within walking distance.  Target and 24 hours Walmart is also within the area.  This hotel is perfect for tourist who wants easy access to everything.

    - Staffs = 4.5 stars for the front desk staffs.  Very friendly and accommodating.  Calmese was our "TO GO" gal, eager to please and her smiles are sincere.  She is definitely an asset to this establishment.

Resolved Issue: They advertised (website) a one way shuttle service from MCO to their hotel for $19 upon request but when I asked to avail this service, I was informed that they do not provide transportation at all.  I had to call Marriott club membership.  It was finally settled by Marriott and Inelda (manager); apologizing for the error on their website (apparently, they did not know it was there) and offered to pay for our one way ($53) taxi ride to the hotel.  I did offer to pay $19 just as advertised. I hope they have taken down that false advertising in their website otherwise, travelers might not be so forgiving esp. when they have already planned on using this services at the last minute like I did.

    - The overall look and feel of this condo-like hotel is actually very cozy; not by any means old or rundown like how other reviewers (tripadvisor) have stated.  The beds are comfortable and rooms are well stocked.   It is convenient esp. if you are travelling with a large group or family, who likes to cook during a long vacation.

    CONS:
    - No elevator.  Kindda difficult if you are assigned on the 2nd floor and you have lots of luggage (with children too) but it didn't really bother us.  We welcomed the walk and the exercise :)

    - Housekeeping = 1 star.  I am unfortunate to report that housekeeping at this hotel is by far the worst I've experience in all of my travel.  I wanted to complain to management on our second day.  But my sister prefers to just suck it up.  Her theory? she feels the housekeeper might retaliate if we get them in trouble and we still have a week more to go there.

Here are just a few mishaps we had encountered with housekeeping -

1.) Upon initial check in, we found approx 6-8 dirty towels and 2-3 dirty blankets thrown inside our walk in closet.  It smelled like a wet dog, it was pretty disgusting.  It was taken care of albeit grudgingly, that night after I mentioned it to a male housekeeper on duty.  Maybe it's was just fluke and people do make mistake so we let that one go.
2.)   2nd day, I grab a coffee mug from the clean cupboard to make tea, upon pouring hot water unto my mug, the water turned brown immediately (before I dip my teabag).   I inspected the rest of the coffee mug and had the misfortune to once again noticed 2 more dirty mugs.  There was dried coffee ring stains at the inside-bottom of the mug.  GROSS.  Seems like the housekeeper just turned over the used mug (from previous guest) and placed it ready for us to use.  That's really terrible housekeeping!  We did not trust the cleanliness of our utensils, glasses and plates after that so we had to rewash it all. Thank God for dishwasher.
3.) Upon inspection on other dishes, we noted one drinking glass that's not only crack but have big sharp chip on the upper lip of the glass.  Had we not notice this, someone esp. the children can get hurt.  I did not throw the glass away bec. I was not sure if they count the glasses (and might charge us) so I set it aside with a note to the housekeeping... well, needless to say, we saw the offending glass again in the clean cupboard the next day!  We called housekeeping and gave the glass to her when she arrived.  She told me with a straight face that the glass IS clean.  I said, yes it is clean but look  (pointing to the very obvious crack and chip).  She said "ohhh."
4.) Carpet is blue in color so you can't really see any stains or dirt; in fact, it appears clean but my God, our white socks turned black in no time, not brown but BLACK.  1st night, my toddler was barefoot and his feet looked like he was walking outdoors, it was truly blackened.  NO exaggerations!  So, do wear shoes or slippers indoors.  That's what we finally  did.

Important safety issues: (esp. for travelers with children)
We booked a 2 bedroom suite which was pretty roomy for 6 people.  The 2nd bedroom however is located on the second floor with steep stairs and a loft style, which means, there are no enclosed walls.  The king size headboard is leaning by the open area, therefore, a child can just lean and fall over. (SEE PIC)  Imagine toddlers jumping up the bed only to be thrown over the 1st floor.  Our toddler was not allowed upstairs alone and he did not sleep with me bec. of this issue.

We almost always stay in a Marriott, and usually find them well above average and well worth the money. Not this one. When we opened the door to our room we nearly tripped over the end of the couch that was less than two feet away. I immediately noticed that you could not, repeat not, watch the tv from bed. A deal breaker for us. Any other complaints Pigboy? Yes. No end table or coffee table in the tiny living room space. No lamp. No luggage rack. The room was old and tired like me, but it can be refurbished and I cannot.

Traffic in and out was horrendous. But, the location is great if you and your family are there to see the Mouse and the whales. Not a place we will stay again, but may suit your needs. Unless you want to lie in bed and watch the Yankees.

    Love this place.

Close to everything. Just behind Howl at the Moon, around the corner from Vito's Chop House and Charley's.

    Price was right.

Pool was very clean, in the center courtyard style.

We had a great time. Love the seperate bedroom with sleeper sofa and mini kitchenette.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and had the best experience.
The location is perfect for the theme parks, the room was clean and comfy. The pool was our own little getaway since there weren't to many guests at the time of year we went.
The staff is wonderful! Friendly and always ready to assist with anything you need.
The breakfast has a large variety of hot and cold food, and on select nights the hotel offers wine and cheese and BBQ nights as well.
This place was great and will be going back when I can.
