Yechhhh. I had to spend 3 nights here for a work event. The room was run down and dirty. I kept asking the front desk staff to please have my room vacuumed (there was ample evidence of past guests' food) to no avail. And the fact that the bathroom was stocked with sandpaper-esque pool towels wasn't particularly endearing either.

    - Physically, this hotel was great. Very spacious, clean, modern rooms with efficient space. Separate restroom and shower room make it convenient. Nice separated desk and living room area that can be opened with a sliding glass pane was a nice design touch. Microwave, Mini Fridge, Coffee maker, hairdryer, Iron, Ironing Board..... all the necessities! The only things missing were a luggage stand and in room safe, but those are just extras most probably don't need. Nice couch too! I really liked the little LED Projector wand light on the headboard. That was fun lol.
Oh, my favorite part is the shower. It has 2 body jet nozzles!!!! Now I want to install these at home!!
    - Lobby was also clean, modern, and spacious.
    - Be aware of their shuttle times to the theme park. I choose this hotel because I called and asked if they have a shuttle to the theme parks. The operator said yes but there is a small fee of $8 per person. Well upon our stay. I found out the hard way there was only 1 shuttle that day.
    - A concierge desk? A nice and usually an amenity only found at a full service hotel.....So I go ask some questions and try to make plan for dinner show and theme parks. Ah, I discovered the catch... the concierge is actually an Expedia representative teamed up with a Marriott rep pushing specials if you tour their Marriott Vacation homes, they'll give you $100 discounts to parks and such. Sneaky sneaky! At least they were nice and still informative.
    - Pool was great and fun. I could see it being crowded during the summer, expecially since it's shared between the 2 hotels, but it was nice and empty during my January visit.
    - Breakfast ended awfully early at 9:30am.... I missed it by an hour.
    - Front desk staff was OK. Tall guy named....David or Dan? was really nice and hospitable. The ladies were a little more "cold" but no issues.
    - TGI Fridays is in the same parking lot, so that's convenient.
    - Sea world is walking distance.
    - Disney and Universal Studios are about 15 minutes away or about a $20 cab ride.
    - Orlando Airport was about a $35-$40 cab ride.

After our Disney cruise, we checked into the SpringHill Suites in Orlando.  Although we got there at 9 am, and most hotels will not usually let you check in until at least 3 or 4 pm, they checked us in, gave us our keys right away and even told us to enjoy the free breakfast buffet which they had out at that time.  Yay!  When we got to our room, we found modern accommodations, comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and a closet big enough to fit 3 large pieces of luggage.  More yay!  There were also laundry rooms for us to wash our dirty and smelly clothes from our Disney cruise, and free wifi throughout the hotel.  Even more yay!  I love this place.  It's clean, comfortable, and feels like home.  And you definitely get a bang for your buck.

I loved this hotel. The room was very spacious and the tv was shared between the bedroom section and the loungy living room/desk section. The translucent plastic walls built into the desk made it seem as if it were actually 2 rooms. The shower was a separate room from the toilet which made it handy in some cases and a pain in others. Both doors are sliding and lock. Our couch was also a pull-out. We had a fridge AND a microwave. There was wired and wireless internet (yay). One of the best parts was that they actually had warm breakfast for the complimentary stuff. The pool was also amazing, it's shared between springhill and fairfield but there are spraying peinguin figures and a huge whale tail that sprays water on the shallow side. The pool only goes up to about 5 ft in the middle and is heated. There is also a bar&grill (that wasn't open during our trip) in the pool area as well as a hot tub to warm up after the pool. There is also a bar inside springhill that is a coffee bar as well. The concierge was very helpful in making reservations and giving information. Although it's great to be home, I miss our home away from home... Oh and there was a TGI Friday's that you could order room service from that was right in front of the hotel, as well as a pizza hut menu to order from. There is also a CVS if you forgot anything on the corner of the lot, probably a 2 minute walk at most. It's right next to Seaworld but very quiet. I was not expecting to love it as much as I did when we checked in :-)

We stayed here for three days for business reasons. As this was the middle of September, I inquired at the desk during check in if we could be on a floor without children. I was assured we could take a room on any floor as there were no children in the hotel as school had started. Let's just say liar, liar, pants on fire. All through the night you could hear children running and the SLAMMING of doors. At breakfast--which I found below par--there were tables filled with children.

The hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants on International drive. The rooms are fairly spacious with a sitting area with sofa and desk and a small fridge and microwave are included. The toilet and bath are in separate areas and have an European look to them. I prefer firm mattresses and the ones we had, two queen beds, were pretty well beaten up and way too soft for me. The tv was a large LG that you could rotate for viewing but if you were in bed near the window then viewing was a problem.

Our room was clean and well maintained but I will give this place a miss if I need to return to Orlando for business. I am guessing parents with small children are accustomed to their noise and disruptions but if you need a good rest before presenting to a client then look elsewhere.

Great location, staff are friendly, nice pool. A great place for families to stay. Our kids had a great time at the pool. Breakfast is okay- just wish they had more to offer than the rotation of sausage, turkey sausage and sausage and gravy with the scrambled eggs. The belgian waffles are great.

The ONLY good thing about this hotel was the proximity to sea world and the shuttles. We stayed here 5 nights and that was by far way too many. So many things to list here. First off the doors on these rooms and I do mean all of the rooms slam shut, so don't plan on getting much sleep. We sleep with a fan on and all we could hear was slamming doors and screaming kids. The room itself was not very dirty, but the hotel hallways and elevators were disgusting. They were not vacuumed the entire 5 nights we were here and we knew this by the band aid that remained on the floor every day. The maids were all rude. I asked for towels instead of service and then tipped them and never received a thank you. And the last and by far the worst complaint is after we checked out my daughter noticed a rash on her arm and leg. After getting back from vacation and going to the doctor it was confirmed it was bug bites. I am shocked this place received anything over 3 for guest rating. I would never return and am highly reconsidering my Marriott loyalty.

Modern decor, nice pool and gym area. The hotel is very well maintained and clean! This particular Marriott will not serve free hot coffee in the lobby area after the breakfast hour is over at 930am. You either have to buy it from the "Starbucks" they have located in the lobby which will not honor your Starbucks gift card or go across the street to the "WAWA" gas station to get a cup. Now with that being said. The service staff  all around was awesome! The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the theme parks ( Parking fee at the parks range from $15 and up!) The only downside is it can get pretty crowded. CVS and TGIF's is located just outside the hotel within walking distance.  There is also a small strip mall on Central Florida parkway that houses a "Publix" and "Subways"

    Fantastic hotel.

Prime location, comfortable, clean and affordable.

The rooms are colorful, modern and fairly big. I was beyond pleased with my stay there.

The one flaw was that the internet connection was slow.

I didn't use the pool or eat the complementary breakfast but from the looks of it all I probably wouldn't have had any complaints.

The staff was pleasant and helpful too.

Great location near Sea World with free shuttle to the parks. Lots of dining options nearby. The hotel and room are up to date and clean. Internet provided by hotel is quick and easy. Free breakfast is more than adequate but can get very crowded unless you get there early. Pool area is nice and has a bar and american style grill food offerings. Room rates are very reasonable also.

Great location, staff, location, rooms,  free breakfast and value.

The GM is extremely nice and I have to admit pretty easy on the eyes. When I stayed there I saw her several times during the week at breakfast engaging guests, and other staffers.

A lot nicer than some of the other select service hotels I have stayed at in the I-Drive area.

I, for one, hate finding a good hotel, even with the help of review sites it tends to be hit or miss.  We spent five nights here during a convention nearby.  This has to be one of the cleanest, freshest, conveniently located, well run, friendly, etc. hotels I've ever stayed at.  Damn did we ever sleep well on those comfortable beds.

After touring around for a week post convention, we had to spend two nights back in Orlando.  My wife demanded we stay here again!  Unfortunately they were booked up and we stayed with their sister hotel which was good, but not as good.

Thanks to the staff at SH Suites, we had a great trip!

Great location to all the parks.  Hotel staff was friendly and rooms were clean.  We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting, I'm sure the kids would have enjoyed it.  The room we had was modern.  Doors to the bathroom were barn doors with colored glass.  Looked great but doesn't offer some privacy as our bathroom fans were not working.  AC worked great.  Hotel offers breakfast from 6:30-9:30am. Breakfast was good, had great selection of cereals, hot items, baked goods, and a Belgian waffle maker.  The complimentary coffee was not that great but they have a starbucks right in the hotel so that's a plus.
Parking was limited and by the time we arrived we were in the back lot they share with the hotel next door.  However, for the price and location I would stay here again.

Great location. Friendly guest services. Rooms were clean and accommodating.

It has a convenient location if you're planning on visiting Sea World. It's about a 10-15 min drive from the Orlando Airport. A free shuttle is available to take you to Sea World.

A continental breakfast is offered and is better than many hotel breakfasts. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc were offered.

Nice hotel if you want to go to SeaWorld or the such. I think it'd be more fun as a kid - their pool and most of the hotel seemed very child-oriented. The rooms were pretty nice though, and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was mediocre quality, but at least had a decent selection - waffles, eggs, etc. The shuttle was nice, but I wish it ran more often.

Comfortable and clean hotel located at the gate to SeaWorld and a quick 15 minutes from most Disney locations.  It has plenty of nice features for a small Marriott property including a large pool area, a mini-Starbucks, and a modern vibe.  The service was friendly, and the complementary breakfast was above average.

Needs work on service and food

I was staying here on a solo business trip. I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon the day was unusually cold for Florida. I was pretty beat having been up since 6 AM and working on my feet without any kind of break or food. The front desk clerk was a little bit hard to understand actually and strangely she asked me if I cared what floor I was on which I truly didn't and she said she had rooms available on the first floor or the sixth floor. I ended up in room 631. The first thing that came to mind when I opened up the door was that the room felt a little bit like something in New York City. It had a bit of a modern flair and the layout seemed slightly peculiar. It's a split bathroom. A small area with the toilet and a corner sink and a slightly larger sized area with a vanity sink and a standup shower. The vanity itself is interestingly lit with a "3-D mirror". The lighting for it however isn't very bright. The shower features an interesting water feature with two small jets where the handle is. For a tall guy like myself I found it to be quite nice as I could use the showerhead which was indeed taller than myself, and have water on my chest as well, so it felt luxurious.

The room also features a desk system which acts as a room partition segmenting the half pit couch/living area with the "bedroom". Situated on this is a wired connection to the Internet which I didn't try and a telephone. The lighting is fair in this room not spectacular but lit well enough so that you can see. It's a mixture of bulb types including LED, florescent and CFL. Furnishings were quite nice the couch was very comfortable although you must position yourself on an angle in order to watch the 32 inch HDTV. There's a decent sized armoire that contains an ironing board and iron as well. An interesting addition was a wood lattice "table" situated over the air-conditioning. You could potentially use this for either luggage or drying out bathing suits. There's a decent sized fridge and a single cup coffee maker as well as a small microwave oven. There wasn't any tea present and I didn't make the effort to call down and see if I could get any. The view in this room is relatively abysmal as it is situated in the corner between the buildings. You can somewhat see the SeaWorld arena backside but that's about it. This is an adjoining room and although the lock system was a deadbolt it doesn't contain the sliding lock chain that you find on the door typically. As a result I moved the small coffee table over in front of it figuring that if somebody was to open it, it would make it loud enough noise to startle me when I was sleeping. On my darkness scale 1 to 10 with 10 being pitch black this places unfortunately around a six or seven. A large amount of light seeps under the front door and the blackout curtains. The alarm clock, the TV, and the smoke detector all have LEDs to annoy you. For those people with an iPod, the alarm clock was one of those docking types.

Because I was so tired and because it was so cold outside I decided to do something I typically don't do, I ordered room service. This particular property shares a pool and a bar and grill called Splash with and adjacent Fairfield Inn. The Splash Bar and Grill menu includes Pizza Hut items such as personal pans and pasta and assorted sandwiches. I ordered the blackened grouper which was described as coming on a hoagie roll with lettuce and tomato and a side of fries. When I ordered it I asked for extra tomatoes. I also ordered a couple of draft beers. Delivery service was relatively quick arriving in approximately 20 minutes. The draft beers came in plastic cups and the delivery person spilled quite a bit of beer as he came in the doorway because there were no lids. Additionally, the food was served in a typical take-out Styrofoam container. On a positive note there were quite a few fries. They took up about half of the container. The "hoagie roll" was more like a hotdog bun that had been lightly toasted. The "grouper" looked more like tilapia. It was a small piece of fish and it was also elongated. I've never seen a grouper cut elongated, ever and I've lived in Florida almost all my life. So I'm pretty sure it actually was tilapia and not grouper and for $18, I was severely disappointed. At least the beer was cold.

Overall this is an okay choice for a hotel. The pricing is just slightly higher than a standard room in the area and you get a suite instead. I will rate it a little higher than average because of the rooms and then remove a couple of stars for the disappointing service aspect and the subpar food placing it at a three out of five stars.

Adequate and well-lit parking areas. Common areas smelled fresh and were in good condition. Desk staff were polite and prompt. Room had 2 queen beds, shower room with sink, toilet and sink room, large closet, desk, sitting area and fridge/microwave. Cleaned and well-kept. Housekeeping was decent. Everything in the room worked and looked cared for. Complaints are few: They should advise not to drink the water. I ended up using bottled to brush my teeth as it smelled and tasted like burning hair. I spent a lot of money on water while I stayed here. Messages left for room to describe a vacation 'ownership' programs--I don't need to get voice mail pitches, thanks. Overall, decent hotel at  reasonable cost in a great location.
