I stayed at the Courtyard this week.  Nothing fancy, but the hotel was clean and relatively quiet during the fall.

As a runner, it's a good location.  Easy to run through the Old Downtown and along the waterfront area.

Free Wi-Fi is good as well.

This is a fine, fully adequate hotel in a terrific location in Pensacola, and the price is right.

It will not be a boutique experience - but if you are looking for that at a Marriott you need to spend a lot more time on Yelp.

It will be the standard McMarriott experience, with the amenities and standards you expect.  It is likely to be populated with groups on tours or away games or whatever.  However, once you close the door you will not hear them.

If you want a place to crash in Pensacola where you can enjoy the town a little bit before moving on, you have found your hotel.

Cute, well kept Courtyard.  It's right next to Pensacola or Escambia Bay (ask for that view), near the highway and walking distance to ole McGuire's Pub.  They call this location "downtown" but it's about 1.5 miles from actual downtown.  We were discouraged from walking there....partly by distance and partly by lack of sidewalks.

It has a cute pool & spa and outdoor patio....small but nicely kept.  And a really nice (again, small) gym.  They have towels and water, a few treadmills and ellipticals, some free weights and a couple weight machines.  My favorite were the treadmills with personal TV's built into them.

They serve a breakfast buffet, but it's not free.  I think there were two price levels, a cheaper continental option or pay more for hot items like omelets and sausage, etc.

In the living-room-like lobby downstairs, there's a bar on one side and a semi-private corner with three computer stations on the other.  It's free and spots are spread out.

Not a lot of frills, but great value, cheap breakfast buffet, great location.  Lovely staff!

This is a very nice Courtyard located in a very nice part of town. So many things are easy to get to from this location: Gulf Breeze, Seville Quarter, Santa Rosa Island, beaches, good eating, and you can't forget McGuire's across the street.

The staff is excellent and willing to answer any questions you have without acting like you are putting them out. Out back there is a nice pool with fountains that shoot at various times, a spa hot tub, a nice little patio, and tables and chairs. Inside the lobby there is a bar, a business center, workout facility, and plenty of tables and chairs. The rooms are clean and well lit with nice linens and plenty of space for 4 adults to share them without feeling like they are on top of each other. The mini-fridges are extra mini and barely hold anything, but that's to be expected, I suppose.

This hotel cost as much nightly as some JW and Ritz's I've stayed in.  Rude customer service, poor remodeling, price gouging, hair found in bed and shower, mold in shower, dirt in room and 80s linens make this Courtyard by far and away the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.  A hill billy's delight.

Meets my criteria for overnighting and longer stays: clean, comfortable, friendly staff, AND most important of all: quiet.  Rooms are nicely furnished, feel solid, no walls that vibrate when a neighbor shuts a door.  All in all, a very nice change from other more expensive hotels.

Clean, tidy, a little on the small side, fabulous lobby.

For a quick beach vacay in Pensacola this place does the job. It's affordable, in the downtown area, and very close to nearby Pensacola Beach. The only downside is there is not a free breakfast, and while that sucks no doubt, there is a wonderful lobby with an interactive touchscreen TV and a cute little bistro to grab breakfast, dinner, or a drink.

My verdict: Great for price and purpose.

Guess I expect more when they put the Marriott name on it.  First thing we noticed was the long black hair on the bathroom floor.  Not one, but several.  Residue in the shower soap dish also made me question the cleanliness of the entire room.  Definitely steered clear of the coffee maker in this one.  All that aside, I'm here to sleep for just one night. I started off fine, but then thought I heard an annoying alarm clock going off.  No, no one pranked the clock.  It's the air conditioner.  Every 15 - 20 minutes it starts to "chirp".  It grows in intensity for up to 5 minutes, then goes silent just long enough to allow you to fall asleep again.  Repeat this cycle approximately 92 times in an evening and you're not apt to write a 5 star review in the morning.

The bistro in the hotel has many options for breakfast. The eggs and bacon were fresh which I greatly appreciated. No powdered microwave eggs for me lol. I gave this place 3 stars.

My hotel room was spacious, but my bed was dressed in thin sheets and an equally thin blanket. Sleeping was hard due to the fact of a train passing by for hours after ten pm, then around 2am and so on. The horn that was blaring woke me. I thought it was only for the first night so I dismissed it. Then the second night it happened again. I am sleep deprived and miserable. Never again. One star for overall experience.

Staying here for our latest trip to Pensacola. As many who follow my reviews I constantly stay at marriott because for the most part I know what I'm getting and I can rack up loyalty points.

On this particular trip we were coming for Memorial Day weekend.  The rates were much higher for beach side and I was ok with saving some money and adding in a quick drive.  On the map that drive looks really short but it goes across two bridges one being a toll bridge and tends to get backed up.

The lobby has been renovated/new.  It has a bar area/restaurant and many lounge chairs.  The rooms are nicely well kept with sufficient water pressure.

    Great location, solid rates.
