I personally have never stayed here, but it's where I have my boss stay when he is in town and he loves it. They have free buffet and drinks several nights a week for their guests and everything I always spotless when I am there to drop off or pick up.

    Great hotel for the price.

PROS: The room was clean and spacious. They also served continental breakfast in the morning and that was just fabulous. So much to choose from and the food was decent. The hotel was close to almost everything. 5 minutes from the airport, 2 minutes away from Cordova mall and all the dining places are just few minutes away.

CONS: RUDE FRONT DESK REP! I checked in with this lady names CHRISTINA from ALAMEDA, CA and she had no customer service whatsoever. She acted like she was doing me a favor. It's a shame because everyone else was so friendly and helpful.

The only thing I ask for in a hotel is that it's clean.  It would also nice to feel that you didn't get ripped off.  This Homewood Suites is perfect.  The room was very clean and the price was perfect.  The free breakfast in the morning was great, too.  Is this a beach resort?  No.  Is this a resort at all? No.  But if you need a clean place to stay in Pensacola for a couple days, you can't go wrong with Homewood Suites.  Will we stay there again?  Yes, because we have to go back to Pensacola.

I stayed here for 4 weeks in April/May.  This is a good Hilton property.  The room is spacious, the bed comfortable, the facilities are clean and well taken care of, the breakfast and dinner is good, and there is enough of a selection that it is healthy if you want it to be.  It is also conveniently located to much in Pensacola or to the connecting roads to get there.

Housekeeping and the kitchen staff were the friendliest, the front desk individuals could be a bit short with you, but after staying there for awhile, I got used to that.  It was more personality driven than anything.

    I would have I say 3 - 3.5 stars.

Homewood suites is a good value hotel brand that has good amenities and a home-feel to it. Not the most luxurious of hotels, but hey - is your home always luxurious. Anyway, this is in par with other Homewoods I have stayed in, but can use a little attention to detail.

My wife and I stayed here (and are currently checking out) on a road trip back home. We arrived late, which did not seem to be a problem for the front desk, even got our foam pillows without hassle! A great sign! It's great to have a small kitchenette on trips, you never know how much you use/miss it!  Living area and separate bedroom - what a treat! Decent bed, looks great, and the night table has an array of electrical sockets and USB plugs!! (See picture) Every hotel should have one of these! Could not charge two phones via USB, but this is not my typical experience with this device, must be the wiring.

    The bad stuff:
General cleanliness was good, but some detailed look at the room and we discovered stains on multiple pillow cases and towels. The carpet has some impacted and embedded blue gum. The walls have plenty of scuff marks throughout.  The most important thing in a hotel room to me, cleanliness! Hence the three stars. If it isn't clean, why would I want to choose your hotel over others?

Hot and free Breakfast! Woohoo! Oh wait, it's all you can't eat gross hotel eggs and bacon. Coffee left me wanting the Dunkin Donuts down the street. The make-it-yourself waffles were pretty good, however.

All in all, we would stay here again because it's convenient and mostly cozy, but beware the details!

Nicely decorated and close to the airport.  Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.  Our room was quite large and had a full kitchen.  Breakfast was solid, nothing too fancy, but good enough.
