This a great Bed and Breakfast and a really good place for a small wedding reception or other function.  We stayed here with my brothers and our best man during our wedding.  It was great.  Barbie, one of the owners, was so sweet.  It felt really cool being in a big old house and able to wander around the day after our wedding with family.  Our room was really nice and had a clawfoot tub.

The only drawback was that one of my brothers got a room that had the bathroom across the hall, not bad if you know all the people staying there, or are used to a B&B, but it could be a shock if you weren't expecting it.  It was fun to all of us.

Barbie was sweet, warm and a great hostess.  The only drawbacks were the lack of hot water and creaking of the bed, as you get on it.  The bed itself was very comfortable.   We all had a restful sleep; enjoyed the use of the board games, books, and rocking chairs.  I also enjoyed the 40s-50s jazz and blues music in the parlor.   Clean and very charming place.

My girlfriend and I were in town for a wedding and wanted to be close to downtown for the reception. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great experience. Breakfast was prepared by Barbie every morning an it was delicious. We felt right at home exploring the old home and coming and going as we pleased. Explore the great shopping, dinning, and bars only a few blocks away. We will be back.
