First let me say that this is a beautiful room in a great part of town that makes exploring the historic district on foot a dream. The room is masterfully decorated, the oversized garden tub is amazing and the partial kitchenette is helpful. It was described as a full kitchen and since it lacked a heatsource, I would not characterize it as a full kitchen at all.
Having said that, the reason we reserve a room with a bed is because we intend on sleeping there. After a full day of touring the city streets on foot, sleeping is important to us. This lovely room is located directly above a rowdy pub, and the noise emitting from downstairs and spilling out into the street below is in direct opposition to anyone getting any sleep until after the bar closes. Even the beautiful enormous flatscreen TV cannot drown out the ridiculously loud noise from downstairs. Nowhere on their website was this mentioned and it would have made a huge difference to us.
After my initial love of the elegance of this pretty room, I have to warn any unsuspecting patrons that this place is like a college dorm flophouse but just with better decor.
If you plan to be in the bar downstairs until closing time, then I highly recommend this quaint inn, but if you want or need a good night's sleep, then stay away.

We stayed here for two nights during our wedding and booked this location well in advance since it does tend to fill up over the weekends with only 5 rooms. My parents and both of my sisters booked rooms here as well since it was withing a very short walk of my venue for the day of, and is within a decent walking distance of historic St. George street.
Everyone enjoyed the very nicely done rooms. The beds were really comfy and the shower in our room was excellent. The shower in room 4, which appeared to be one of the suite rooms that the guys stayed in so that they could have plenty of prep space for the day of, was awkwardly sloped due to the ceiling, but usable.
Check in is at the bar area of the O.C. White Seafood restaurant, which was a little difficult since the manager was also trying to handle the bar / restaurant while checking us in, so they ended up charging my parents for our room and had to fix it since we had already paid for it.
If you have a room here you can park in the lot that is attached to the hotel. They'll give you a parking permit to put into the vehicle when you check in, but be aware that if you have a photographer, make up person, hair person, or bridal party people meeting you here - they CANNOT park on site since they aren't "guests" of the hotel - which caused some issues since some of the vendors had a lot of things to bring in.
Also of note - the seafood restaurant has live music and games on the tvs playing up until midnight and it's only a few hundred feet from every room in the inn, so the sound is very loud and noticeable. Not bad if you are a younger couple without little ones, but my sister had her two kids (both under 10) and that wasn't really desirable for them.
Despite being the preferred hotel for our venue, they weren't able to allow my makeup person or photographer to park close-by despite us paying for 4 of the 5 rooms here. The noise can be overwhelming from the restaurant right next door, so keep that in mind if you have kids. The rooms were very nicely redone and it's within decent walking distance of a ton of fun things in St. Augustine!!

Wanted to love it......Room #5 was beautiful!! King size bed, great bathroom with a lovely tub and shower. Spotlessly clean. I would have given 5 stars except for a couple of things. First - the website looks as though the room has a balcony - and my bad not to ask. No balcony in any of the rooms as far as I could tell - and too bad too as the bay is across the street. Second - the room sits atop a bar - and while the sound is muffled you can hear what sounds like a party going on every night. I was there midweek so don't know what the weekend brings - but bring a pair of soft earplugs if you are in bed earlier than 10:00 PM or sleep lightly. I think it closes at midnight. Lastly - there is a very bright streetlight just outside the window - and the curtains do nothing to block the light. I woke up several times a night thinking it was morning when it was actually 3:00 AM. Two blackout shades to the tune of $100 would make a big difference. It's a great location - close to everything - but if you want quiet place to sleep and a small balcony for your morning coffee - this isn't the place.
