Very nice and well maintained Hampton Inn.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  This is easily one of the best Hampton Inns I've ever had the pleasure of staying in.  The location is excellent if you want to be close to the beach.

Convenient location to I95.  Clean, about what you would expect for a Hampton.  Staff was very friendly.  Breakfast was EXCELLENT!  I would definitely stay here again.

Nice accommodations. Updated from other Hamptons I've stayed in. The room descriptions are not accurate. Their idea of a city view are the front yards of the homes seen from my balcony. The AC had to be replaced, and the front desk attendant was "stuffy." Not your typical warm greeting and service I'm accustomed to at Hilton properties. Over-priced as I've stayed at much nicer locations and never paid what I did here.

I was impressed with this little hotel in an area of town where there isn't much going on.  The ladies at the front desk were very helpful when looking for things to do in the Old Town area - which was very charming!  It was a well maintained and clean hotel with a very friendly staff.  The pool is very clean and, again, a well maintained area.  It is a short walk to the beach from the hotel.  The rooms and bathrooms were very clean with fresh towels and fresh bed linens.

We ran into one issue but the responsive front desk addressed it immediately and had a solution for fixing it.  The air conditioner worked which is vital to a comfortable stay during the summer months in Florida.  However we noticed Friday night that it was leaking and the carpet in front of the unit.  We called the front desk and (because it was late at night) they sent someone up in the morning to fix the AC unit.  The maintenance guy also left an industrial fan in our room to help expedite the drying process of the carpet.

The breakfast was good - the food was mediocre but the coffee was great.  Also the cookies were a nice touch in the afternoon!

Second time around... Awaken at 5:45 Am (Fire Alarm) someone burt the bacon in the kitchen....  Fire department arrives...  The best mangement could come up with ....  Folks go back to sleep.   Love the location, but the management and staff could careless!  Managed by college kids, who really, really really could care less!   Stay in St. Augustine!

Wonderfully relaxing experience. I adore all the outside paces, the location is literally steps from the beach, and just minutes from the historic district. The staff was super friendly and our room had a balcony. In terms of what was available at this price point, Hampton Inn was a great deal. Recommendable.

What has happened to this place?  I Love this place I love the location I Love the Hotel until..... my stay 7/5 thru 7/14   Everyday there was something else that was not the quality that it was the last few years. From a elevator that was broken for 3 days ? Days well.. you press the button and press and press and wait and wait  .     for 3 days ! Look I know that elevator Company's work 24/7  so what gives? So what is up with that?
Then we see a sign saying the elevator works but, you have to press harder or firmer ? Come on The Hulkster would break his fingers.... The dammm thing was broke.
Then the tub... nice paint pealing come on this is not a 62.95 a night place you would expect that from a place like that.Hampton are you reading this?

Great hotel. Really cool outdoor area with fire pits. Walking distance to the beach. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Booked a Kingsize oceanfront balcony suite with hot tub.   The room was nice BUT all I could see is the pool and a grass field from the "Not" at all private balcony.  The ocean is way too far to even see from the top 3rd floor.

Can't say enough good things about the location of this Hotel. Close, but not too close, to the Old City touristy area, while also being nearly beachfront, and essentially tucked away quietly in its own little corner.  The rooms probably could have been a little cleaner, but no serious issues. The breakfast was pretty solid for a free small-hotel breakfast. The pool, though small, was empty most of the week and beautifully lit in the evenings. We appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. Most of the guests staying here were friendly and respectful, though a bit noisy at times. The beds could use a serious upgrade, but we are young enough to deal with them. Overall a great stay.

I had a great stay at this Hampton. We had a third-floor room overlooking the ocean. The room was clean and fairly-well appointed. Service at the desk was good, and breakfast was passable. The location is really what makes it special, though. It is within sight of the Atlantic, and has a nice stretch of beach to play on. It's quiet at night, inside and outside. Also, it's a few minutes from the rest of St. Augustine, close enough to enjoy the attractions but far enough to forget you're near a city. I'd stay here again.

This really is one of the nicest Hampton Inns in Florida. The location is right on the beach.  The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are huge.  The pool area is very nice and there is a small bar where you can get a couple of adult beverages while you take in some sun.

It is a short drive to Old Town St Augustine and not far from I-95.  My only tip is everything on the Island closes at 10:00 PM, so make sure you have everything you need before then.

I'll start with this review is preferences with it's a hotel in Florida - meaning I'll give it a pass on the water - it's all bad in Florida - and the dampness - everything is damp in Florida.  The room was clean; staff friendly; and can't beat the location.  The only real complaint is the pillows - they were the worst Hampton pillows ever.

Passable. The room was clean and the food was breakfast food was okay. The staff was very friendly.

But the owner is clearly a cheapskate. Apparently he/she hadn't heard about the environmental damage done by styrofoam. Although that seemed to be the case in most St. Augie's establishments.

There were no towels available in the pool area or on the way to the beach, for the duration of our 2 day visit. We mentioned this several times. Pool is too small for more than few people at a time.

Despite being clean, everything smelled odd. But you got used to it.

The television reception was inconsistent.

Free wifi!

Breakfast area probably too small for the number of guests.

Will not return.

The place has great potential if the owner actually spent a little money.

The staff members are excellent - very responsive and caring. I was very impressed with the service. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic - right across the street from the beach. Some restaurants and bars (and a grocery store with an excellent beer selection) are within a few blocks of the hotel, which is very convenient.

I had one small issue during my visit with some noise from a school group, and the front desk was very responsive to the issue. The next night I didn't have the same issues. When I mentioned this in the review Hilton sent me, I received a personal email from the manager who was very polite and seemed genuinely concerned.

Overall, this hotel is nice, but what makes this place truly excellent is the staff.
